Hey y'all, so today I am going to be doing a frontal install unit on my girl k money. As you can see, yeah she got a lot of hair like a lot of hair. We just did a wash and blow dry and deep conditioning I um wash and blow dry. All of my clients, hair. Every single client that comes through this door gets their hair washed before any type of style. Wig sewing it don't matter what it is: you're getting your hair washed period, so yeah as you can see, I'm just blow drying it out. Yes, it took me a long time because, of course she does have a lot of hair. So, just imagine how long it's going to take me to braid all of this down. Actually it didn't take me that long today, but yeah so we're gon na get right into it. So you want to do your ball cap method and I usually use um my adhesive um. I just outlined it above the hairline to secure the cap, and I use like some freeze spray. I use the even black can to spray it, and I just sit my client under the dryer. You really want to make sure you sit them under the dryer for at least like 15 minutes, so that it's dry all the way, because I'm not the blow dryer. I'M not finna stand there and blow dry for 15 minutes like I'm just not about to do that so yeah. I use the cream shade um the cream makeup from Ruby kisses when I'm doing my ball cap for the makeup and I like to go like a little shade darker because um just so it's it's completely seamless under the cap and you don't see it at all. So um, I'm probably gon na, do another video on how to get the perfect Bobcat method and what? Well it's perfect to me. It'S my method, so yeah. If you guys would like to see that and um yeah just comment below, and let me know because a lot of times the ball cap method, if you you got to know exactly where to cut around the ears, because those sides, if you lease any hair out It could get really messed up, so this is the wig we're going to be doing today. Um, I'm not even sure what company this is from. I'M gon na actually leave that in the description box below once I find that out and ask her because I'm not sure but yeah we're doing a little um blind and brown highlights today with a little curly. I think this is kinky curly, and here I'm just putting on some makeup on the inside of the wig and I'm gon na put a little bit on the outside she's really really light. So it barely looks like the color is even really showing up for real but yeah. So now we're just cutting off the lace, and I just went in with my little baby nail scissors to um cut the lace open and then I'm going to go in with my edge razor and just cut the lace off. And you want to make sure you get as much lace off as possible and get as close to the hairline, because you want it to look like it's her real hair. You don't want to leave too much lace on there to where you can see the lace. Even if it is Blended in really good, like just try not to leave too much lace on so I don't know if you guys are going to be able to tell in this video. But the wig was very, very short, like not the wig, but like the length of the lace around the hairline, like you know how it's like a 13x4. This is like a 11x4 or something I don't know, but it's not very long. It did not come all the way down to her sides, so we decided to just go with a middle part and yeah. We still made it work whatever, because she's still gon na be cute she's, getting ready to go to a concert this weekend in Vegas. So yeah I'm just getting her right and yes um. I actually have a lot of different methods on how I install wigs. Sometimes it just really all depends on the wig but um. I really meant that is to go ahead and cut the lace off before you glue it down, because I feel like that's a really good way, to see how it's blending before you actually put it on. Instead of having to go back in and keep trying to put all that makeup on after you apply the glue and then it just gets all gooey and you you know, I don't like to mix up products too too much, so I like to go ahead and Try to put on the makeup before and see how it's going to look and blend in with the skin before I even apply any adhesive so right here. This is my skin protector from my brand also, and this video is to really show you guys the proper way to use my product line, because that's what I'm really um just trying to push right now, um. I really just want to show you guys exactly how to use it all of my products and what they're for so my skin protector. I always put that on before applying my adhesive, and this is for my people who have sensitive skin and my adhesive has non-toxic chemicals. It'S not harsh or anything like that, but some people do break out easily because they just have you know sensitive skin. So I always use that skin protector before going in with my adhesive, and you want to make sure that that dries before you go in with the adhesive. So now I'm just applying my adhesive. I don't use too much glue like I hate to use a lot of glue because it doesn't take all that we're going to use four coats. I always use four coats. Sometimes you know you may want to ask your clients. Where are they going what's the occasion? Because sometimes you may need to add an extra layer. If they're going out of town out of Vaca on a vacation out of the country and they're going to be somewhere really hot, then you may need to add five or six layers. You know it's. That'S called a consultation, so you need to talk those things over with your clients before doing the install so yeah, but we're just going to do four coats, um and yeah. That'S that's like the minimum amount of coats that I do, and here I'm just using a cosmetic spatula um. You can get them from your local beauty, supply store and it it really Glides the glue on really really good and I'm just coming out like an inch above the wig cap, because you don't want to bring the glue out too much to the point where you Have glue outside of your lace and then it's all sticky and then, when you lay down at night and try to lay down on your pillow, you're gon na have glue everywhere. And then, when you tie your hair down. You'Re gon na have glue all over your lace melt band all over your scarf, and we just don't want all that, like you, don't want your glue to be showing so don't come out too far like if you can help it. Try your best not to come out too far, and even sometimes what I always teach my students who takes my classes if they come out. If you go ahead and wipe it off really really quick, then you're good. But if you let it dry, you get tacky. Let it get tacky before like wiping it off, is you're you're done so yeah um, but for the most part, most of my clients, all of my clients. Their installed lasts three weeks top three weeks, minimum um and yeah. Like most, a lot of my clients have that wig on for like a whole month, like literally, and I really like when I tell y'all, I really love my glue like I came out with this product two years ago, and it hasn't felt me yet. I haven't switched up, I haven't like I, I love it and you really really want to make sure you spread the glue all the way out like you, you shouldn't see no dark white clumps when you're spreading it, because it's gon na dry just like that, and It'S gon na look just like that through the lace, and you don't want that, like you want to make sure it's spread completely all the way, and you want to make sure it's clear before you go on to the next coat and then when you're done with All the coats it dries really really fast. So most of the time I don't even have to use a blow dryer in between doing coats because it's going to dry, but by the time I even start my next coat. That'S how fast it really really dries, and I really love that because it just makes the process a whole lot easier and quicker. I do use a blow dryer, sometimes at the end, to just blow dry, the you know all of the coats together and make sure you know we're good to go. So I can go ahead and apply the wig and yeah and it's sometimes it could be easier. Using tweezers too, when applying your wig to like pull the lace out to where you really need it to come, instead of using your fingers, because sometimes your fingers can get in the way you can easily press the glue. So using tweezers is another hack um that you can use if needed. I don't have to do it every time, but you know I think I've gotten pretty good to where I don't have to use my tweezers anymore. Sometimes I do it just all depends um, but yeah. So here I'm just putting her wig down. You want to make sure you stretch that lace as much as possible, don't stretch it too much, because we don't want to cause any ripples or anything like that. So you know I pulled it down as far as I could um to get as close to her ear and her side as much as possible, even though it did not stretch all the way but um yeah, and I just have her holding down the other side. While I pull the other side just to keep that tension down on the other side and to make sure nothing comes up, and now I'm just gon na blow dry and press everything in really really good. Okay, now I am going to be uploading. A lot of videos doing installs because, like I said, I've been doing this for years now, so I know so many different methods. I know so many different techniques. So I'm going to be showing different techniques of how you can install using my products um. Just how you can install wigs and Lace period, because not everybody learns from one method or technique. You know some methods may work better for other people, so I am going to be posting different ways and different techniques, even when it comes down to baby hairs and what products to use and all of that just to see what works best for you. Okay, so yeah now I've blow dry, everything in and now I just put like a little dab of glue on my hand, and I'm going in with my comb and just gluing some pieces down that didn't get glued down I'd rather that happen than to like, I Said have glue outside of my lace. So that's how you know when you didn't come out too far, because you may have to go back in and glue some pieces down and that's optional. If you don't want to glue the piece down and they can glue down, you don't have to, you - can simply cut it off if you like, but um, I just decided to just glue it down. So that's what we're doing now, all right! Now I'm going to go in with my even wig spray and the black can and this spray that lace down before we tie it down and that white line that was there you, you can see that it's going away once you spray it, because I use powdered Makeup so it has like a ashy type of tone to it and, like I said sometimes I use powder makeup. Sometimes I don't but you'll see other ways that I do it when I post other videos, but this is a very good method that I like to use and I'm just tying it down with an elastic band and you don't have to use this spray. The spray is really good if you have any type of melting spray that you like to use. Um got to be freeze spray, you know. Whatever is your choice or your preference me personally? I don't use got to be free spray anymore, because it, it just leaves like a really really bad residue to me so yeah now I sew my wigs down in the back, because you know a lot of people they want to have their wigs secured so yeah. I just start at one ear and sew all the way around the back to the other ear. Okay, and now I'm going to take the band off and also once I spray and sew the back of the wig down and put the Melt band on. I do have my client go sit under the dryer again for another 15 minutes to make sure that it's everything is dry. Everything is intact and we're ready to continue on with the install, because you want to give the glue and everything enough time to really settle down and really dry before you continue on with the inside. You want to make sure it's really settled in so you can keep going okay. So now I'm just taking a Q-tip and some alcohol. I put my alcohol in the spray bottle because it's just easier for me to get to - and you know use so I'm just going in and cleaning up any residue that um was left on her forehead and cleaning that off look at it y'all. She feel herself already ain't even done with the install yet and she's just already. I think she was making a tick tock right here. Yeah she had to be making a tick tock. So yeah, that's really all I should be doing when she be coming. Should we be making all type, would she be making all type of tick tocks because y'all I'm not no tea top person like I'm, not even gon na sit here a lot of y'all I'd be trying to do the little Trends and do everything but honey. I guess I'm a little Auntie because I I just can't keep up I'd, be trying, but no ma'am, so yeah. You already know I'm going in with my wax stick and I only use Cara Care wax thing like I love caracal wax thick. It doesn't leave like a that white residue, it's not too, you know it doesn't, have the hair to weight down or anything it gets the job done. It makes everything super super flat. So now I've already parted out my baby hairs. I will be doing a separate video strictly on baby hairs. I'M going to be posting, so many different videos and different techniques on different ways. You can do baby hairs because there are so many different ways and that's why I'm glad that I really learned different ways to do them because, like I said every client, you know some clients don't know how to maintain their baby hairs. Some clients do so. You have to know, you know, like I said, have that consultation with your clients before getting started and ask them those type of questions like? Are you good with keeping up with your baby hairs or not, and things like that, so you can know what method you need to use to make sure that the the install the baby hairs and everything is it lasts for them. So I like to go in with my hot comb and just really straighten everything out before we actually get started to make sure everything is going in the direction that I wanted to go in. I try to keep everything as neat as possible, so it's not like everything is just all over the place, and I feel like this technique that I do just straightening everything out with the hot comb. It really just makes everything so much easier and neat for me. Now I'm taking my tweezers and I'm going in and plucking in a downward motion to pluck some of those hairs out for my baby hair sections, because I do not like thick thick baby hairs like yeah. So if you are a type of person that likes you know natural, looking baby hairs or you know not too much go in and just plug some of those baby hairs out so that you get the natural look that you want: okay, because yeah! So again, I'm going in with my Razor again and cutting my baby hairs in like a diagonal, um motion. Now you want to kind of leave them like a little lengthy, not too much, but you don't want to cut them too short, because you do want to have enough room for them to be able to even curl with your curler um. So yeah, don't you don't? Have to cut it too, too short, unless you know you just like your baby hairs like that, but this is the technique that I use. I just go into diagonal motion and cut them to a good length. So here I have my colors, my pencil curling iron flat iron or whatever you want to call it and I Am Curling under so I used to curl upward and it was never anything really wrong with that way. Curling it upward, but for some reason I just one day I was like, let me try curling under and ever since I started curling under it. I don't know why, but my baby hairs just come out so much better when I curl under, like I don't know why, but I do feel like if you want that. Fluffy look like if you, if you want that fluffy look where you got your baby hairs. Like you know, the ends of the baby hairs are going a little like wispy. Looking you know, y'all know what I'm trying to explain. Then I would recommend curling up or in an upward motion because you'll get that look like that, but we just trying to get some nice Sleek normal baby hairs, um, keeping it simple and keeping it cute. So we're going to curl under and I'm just. I have her holding the blow dryer as I do this method, so we don't have to keep going under the dryer and I am going to be using um the snot gel. I think that's what it's called yeah in the little yellow tube and I'm going to put a little bit on my hand and y'all can use whatever you want like. If you have something else that you want to put it in, just put it on there and I use a short Barber comb, Barber comb and it's also called like a styling comb as well. I love doing my baby hairs with these Combs. I don't know why. It just makes it so much easier. The the teeth are very, very small. They'Re short, a lot of people just use the edge brush um that has the comb on the end. I'Ve tried it and I'm one of the people where I can't use it. It just never works out for me. I don't know if I I need more to hold on to or what, but it just never works out for me. So I'm the I'm one of the girls who just I like to use a regular comb to do my baby hairs and it works out better for me. So this is what I use and um yeah like I said I will be posting another video strictly for baby hairs, because I know you guys really can't see what I'm doing as much here but yeah. This method, I feel, is great for people who don't know how to maintain baby hairs and don't know how to keep up with them it after it's done drying, which it dries really really fast, especially if you have the blow dryer blowing on it, while it's while You'Re doing it, it dries, you know almost instantly and they stay stuck there for a while. So if you are one of those type people who you know, you love baby hairs, but you want them to last and you don't know how to do them over yourself. Then this method is probably best for you. Um, like I said, I know we love the fluffy baby hairs, the soft baby hair. Look, you know when we be using the foam and all of that I'm one of those girls. I love foam. Soft look, baby, hair type of girl, but of course I do hair, so I know how to keep up with it. I love when I do it on other people, but everybody does not know how to maintain that look and do it over when it's. You know because it's foam so it easily, it won't stay there for too long like I'm just going to be completely honest, it's not so yeah. This is we're using and yeah. This is how it looks when I got done, I sprayed it. I mixed up my bottle with water and conditioner, and I used some type of curl defining mid spray, also, never just use water on curly hair because it's going to Puff right back up but yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed. I hope it was informative. Don'T forget to like share and subscribe, see you guys next time, bye,
