My First Wig Install From Start To Finish ! Beginner Friendly Ft.Wiggins Hair

Welcome back to the channel, I am so excited to be sat down in front of the camera again because it has been a minute guys. It has been a minute - and I I this is my second time, filming this video, because for some reason the rain just would not let up. I literally, I barely slept last night because the rain started at like half past two in the morning. I was awoken by hail, hitting my window that should not be allowed and it just didn't stop ever since, but right now it is 12 o'clock in the afternoon well in the morning in the afternoon, and finally, the rain has lit up. We are doing this. We are doing a cute little hair in store video. This is the first hair install video of the channel because I've never done one before and I know a lot of people always asking me like who installs my hair for me, where do I get it done? Where do I get my hair? I will be telling you all of that now. Okay, so, first of all, I install my hair myself. I have always installed my hair myself, and this is like a special occasion. Then I go to someone, but I've always installed it myself, um, and so I'm hoping my skills just shine through in this video, because your girl is nervous. But let me tell you about the hair okay, so today we are installing here from Wiggins hair. This is the little bag that they sent the hair to me in how adorable, first of all, also they're all their socials on the back, as you guys can see, and the hair that they sent me before. I show it to you before. I show you the hair, let me just describe it. Okay, let me just tell you what it is. So it's black y'all know me in black hair. We are, we are one. I love black hair. I'Ve never been much of a color girl. You know I I know I had a blonde moment like earlier in the year. That was great, but ever since then you know. I love me some black hair. It is 22 inch body, wave, HD, lace, 200 density. You know I never really understood what the density part means, but I hope that means something to someone, because that's what it is, but this is the hair roll roll, the b-roll, but I'll also show you right now. This is the hair. She is super long super long, super beautiful we're gon na bring the curls back to life because we're going to be installing styling. This is what it looks like inside. It is not a frontal, it is a closure, as you guys can see. I'Ve already put in there some powder foundation just so it matches my scalp better, but this is the hair guys and on the inside as well. It has this elastic over here to make sure that it it doesn't go nowhere baby, it's not going nowhere. Also these clips it has these little combs in there. What do y'all call this? I call it like the little like little teeth. Comb thingies, but it has. It has quite a few of them in there. So this is what they sent me. They sent it to me in this little bag as well. They also sent me I've already used this, as you can tell they sent me an elastic guys. I'Ve wanted one of these for so long and the fact that it has The Branding on here as well. So stop they sent me this. Yes, it's reversible, it's pink on the side, black on the side, um. They also sent me some wig caps. So I'll show you those right now they sent me two of those like this. I already have one on underneath here guys something about me in a wig cap. I just love it. I wish I was socially acceptable because do you know how comfortable it feels like it? Just it just grips your head, but they also sent me. I think they also sent me lashes yeah. They also send me Lashes in here, so they were very generous with everything that they sent me, but let us go ahead and get into the install. I am excited, I'm super excited. I don't know how y'all put your wigs on, but I literally put on like a little cap. I already have my bald cap on over here. Well, not necessarily a bald cap, because I know there's like a specific method for doing the bald cap, but I already have my wig cap on and I'm literally just going to take this place, my head in here and let's get into it. I'Ve already done this. That'S how I know that this elastic is going to fit. I hope you guys can see him. That'S how I know this elastic is going to fit, but I have already put it on before, so I know that it fits really well. The elastic is really tight and it's super adjustable and just get the Clips in there. So you guys can see over there. It'S very much closure, but it just it's. I love it. Okay, I love it. It'S it's one of the only. What do you call it? Um it's one of the only closure, wigs that I have and I'm not to doing. Oh, I think I'm gon na have to put some foundation on the on the cap. Yeah, I'm gon na have to put some foundation on the cap so that it matches my scalp a little bit better yeah because that little demarcation there is not gon na work. It'S not gon na fly, so I'm just going to quickly do that off camera and then we are going to get into the install. But honestly, the insole is going to be super quick, because this already is like super like flat on my head, but we're gon na hot comb. It we're gon na curl it we're gon na style it and all of that um yeah. Let'S, let's get some foundation on the cap, one second, we are back. I had to run upstairs to get my powder foundation and look forever for it, but right now, what I'm doing is I'm literally just powdering this part over here where you're going to be able to see it through the lace. I want to get like a pink, a place and personal with you guys, but this is basically what I'm doing my mirror is over here. This angle is insane but yeah. This is what we're doing we're pretty much almost done. I just want to keep moving it Forward, just so that I can see. Ah that already looks so much better guys. Please look at that. That already looks so much better um, I feel like we could go a little bit more though, in fact we could go a little bit more go a little bit further back um. I literally have my hot comb. Oh my gosh, my eye. At least you have my hot comb right here in front of me so that as soon as we're done with this, we can get into hot combing the hair installing the hair. I'M really excited. Oh my gosh and I have a lash appointment tomorrow, because my lashes, the last time I saw my lash lady, was like it was almost a month ago. It was almost a month ago me and my mom made an appointment together, we're going tomorrow and we're gon na go. Get these we're gon na go get these lashes sorted out, because no no can't be walking around like this. Okay, let's have one more look, see how it is. Obviously, if you want to like part it a different way like make it a side part or something, then you need to oh that looks good. Then you need to pop powder different parts of the cap, but that to me that is really good. That looks really really good, I'm happy with it. I don't know, I feel, like I'm doing too much, I feel like I could go a little bit further back. Yeah we're gon na go a little bit further back. I know I'm being a lot guys and being a lot also trying not to get it too much on the actual hair itself foreign before I just go crazy with it, but oh my gosh that looks so much better. So much better already that looks so much better. I'M just gon na brush it out guys. This hair is literally so so so soft and I was going to wash and condition and everything and then as soon as it like hit the water I was like this is so soft, like usually I have to condition here to get it to the state that I like, and I do a whole lot of treatments to it, and this hair was just like it was just doing the things like. I really didn't have to work that hard for it, but now I'm going to get my glue of choice we are going. This is actually so much easier if you don't know how to install a frontal start with a closure, because now, as opposed to having to put glue around my entire perimeter of my head, I'm actually just doing this fun part of it here. But let's get into it, I'm going to be using a spray glue, we're going to be using the spray for to be glue, because this is the one I've been using lately. This is the one I've been using lately and I really really like it, because it's just so much it's so quick, it's so quick and I used to not. I just hung the hair dryer across the room. I used to not really like the spray, because I was like I feel like it doesn't have as strong as a hold. I was wrong. I was wrong, it definitely has a very strong hold and it's very quick and easy to use trying to get my blow. Dryer to get in there - oh my gosh, I do not have the on strength for this okay, it's in I was like. Why is this thing, but the way I do it so I line it up where I want it to be. Some of us have bigger foreheads. You know we like to pull it down a little bit, but I line it up to where I want it to be, which is just in front of the cap so like not too much but like just right there in front. I think is a good place and then I basically lift it like this and I tried to like if I can fold it back, I try to fold it back. I don't think that'll be, I don't think that'll work as well as just like moving it back, because it is a closure so I'll just like move it back like this and then spray it over here, not sure how many layers of this we're gon na do. Let'S see, I typically do, maybe I should look in my mirror, because I could have some precision, but I typically do like two layers. This hair already is like really nice and tight on my head, so I don't think we're gon na have to do that. Many layers for it to oh, my goodness, that many layers for it it's thick, but let's just see how many it needs, and I love the fact that it's already clear so you don't have to worry about like it dry. Okay, you want to blow dry until it's like tacky, I was gon na say you want to blow dry for like 38 seconds, but that doesn't always work literally if you can touch it like this and your finger's, not sticking at all like now. Okay, like there, you want to blow dry it to this point, so it's like that - and I hope I don't have to say this to the girlies cold air. Please use cold air, not hot air. Hot air will not get you very far in this process. We'Re gon na go in for our second layer, because I mean just for that extra stability, but yeah you want the first layer to be somewhat dry by the time you go in for your second layer. I know some people use a um red tail comb. For this part, you could use a retail comb. I just can't feel like my finger works better, because this is very liquidy. If you're using a glue, that's more thick use the red tail comb, not your finger, but my finger for this right now. This will work and then just go back in blow drying. Okay, I'm tempted to do another layer, I'm tempted to do another layer, but I don't want to go too hard. I don't want to do it so much so see how clear that is, and it is yeah that okay, the camera just randomly stopped recording, but we're back um and we are ready to basically lay this down. I'M gon na look over here in my mirror. Just so that I can very accurately see where I'm placing it but - and I actually want you guys to like see as well how it literally guys this is so much easier. Oh, my gosh literally just sits down like that, and then you can just use your fingers or the end of a comb to press it in we're. Gon na still go in and fix these little pieces here that are flying, but for the most part there is down, it is secured. It is not going anywhere and now we can get into the styling. Oh, my goodness, okay, I really like how that the part looks. It looks way more natural than before. Okay, let's get in to it. So first things: first hot comb der I'm gon na put the hot comb. I'M gon na put the hot comb on and I'm not usually one to do baby hair. So I mean, I don't think you guys have ever seen me with baby hairs. Honestly, I don't think you guys have ever seen me with baby hairs, because I'm not usually one to do them. I usually just like leave the hair, as is also it's. It takes a certain level of skill. It takes a little skill that I'm just like sweetie. I don't know if I have that, but who knows maybe we'll try today, maybe we'll try, I'm just gon na get my single teaser go through the hair and just brush it out. While we wait for the hot Clan, the hot coin might take, the other hardcore. Might take a minute to win the hot curl is done doing its thing we can get into it. I'M gon na wait for it. Let'S wait for it. Okay, the hot comb is hot and ready to go. It has three settings, but I'm just gon na leave. It like on the second, this is trying to charge all the way up to the third, but honestly on the second setting it's hot enough - and this is my favorite part of any install it's the hot Chrome pot. So I actually want to start by hot combing. The the pot and then we'll do the front, so I'm just gon na go in very, very big slowly. This is like my favorite part of any in-store because guys a flat wig, I mean look at the difference already. Please you need a hot comb. If you don't have a hot comb, please you need a hot comb, it'll, completely change the way you do things, but then you guys can literally see this hair color, and this is like true black and I really like that because sometimes they'll say it's black, but It'S really dark brown. This is black black black black. Thank you go in on the other side, and this this you can do as many times I'm going to do this quite a few times, because I just want to be very specific with it, but I really like the way it looks. I am so sorry if you guys can hear the construction going on. You know. First, it's the rain, then it's the construction. There is always something, but the point is we're getting this done. Okay, I'm gon na look here in my mirror, because I do not want to burn myself, but it's cute. I literally just touched the hook on my bare finger. I like this a lot and you guys can see over here. I'M gon na have to get really really close foreign to do. I'M like comfortable that I'm not gon na like absolutely just burn my scalp, but there guys I love. This is giving ah just giving scalp okay, so I've been hot combing for some time now. So I'm pretty much happy with that. Now I'm just going to apply some wax into the hair to hold down any flyaways, also to just make it look extra extra flat, which that is super important to me and then, while the wax is in my hair, I'm going to hot comb that as well. I don't know if that is good for the hair or not, but this is what I've been doing for years, where I literally walk hot comb, the hair, while there's wax in it. So I just feel like it helps it lay so much better. So we're gon na finish, doing that and then get into styling, which is just going to be some body wave curls just to bring the curls that this hair already has like back to life, but otherwise I almost got myself there. Otherwise, I'm really. I'M really happy with how it's laid there in front, and now I'm gon na get into the curls which super excited about super super excited about, because I've discovered cursor for me guys. I used to be that girl who, every single time I did my hair. It needed to be straight hair, and I was like straight hair - is the only thing that like looks good on me, no curls too, so we're gon na curl this hair, just using my little Revlon curling, one guys the story of how I got this. This curling iron - I was literally - this is my first curling iron ever ever ever and I thought the barrel would be bigger because it's like so short and like thin, and I thought it would be way bigger than this. It was not, but I've just stuck with it ever since, because I'm just like, oh my gosh, like I love it, it just works so we're gon na let this heat up and then we're just gon na bring the curls back to life, but I love it And you can see how shiny like your hair is. I can see how shiny the hair is. I need to stop hard combing it because I'm literally fighting the urge to hot comb. Again, I'm fighting I'm fighting, let's wait for the curling iron to heat up. Okay, so I went ahead and did this one front curl over here just to make sure I remember how to actually do this little technique because I like them to be like loose, and I like them to be more on the bottom of the hair. Not so much the top like towards my actual head, but this is just how I've been curling it and I just like wrap around the barrel. Okay. I know you shouldn't grab the barrel like this, but this is how I see it just like touch this make sure it's like warmed up, and I, like the curls, be like super loose, which I mean. That'S how the hair came. Anyways it's like super loose curls. I'M also on the bottom end yeah. I can feel okay yep it's getting hot. She is getting warm. I know, there's like a million different curling techniques, but this is just the one that I found works for me and gets the job done. I just kind of want to show you what it looks like there Foods more towards the bottom okay. So let's do one of the piece - and this usually is what takes the longest when installing my hair is just the styling part of it. But it's always super cute. At the end I feel like this is going to get harder and harder and harder the further back. We go on my actual head because it's just gon na get longer and longer and longer, but if it works, it works. Okay, still, you got a lot to go. Kids, we got a lot to go. I will see you guys when I'm done curling this entire head of hair, brushing it out. Oh we'll, brush it out together. Actually, because that's my fave part we'll brush it out together, but let me just curl this whole just curl this whole head and then I'll see you guys in a second okay just to check in halfway. We are halfway done with this side of brush it out. I'M just like I'm so excited right. Now, I'm doing this half and I'm starting from the back as opposed to the front this time. Um, it's just it's just my method, but I could feel it's gon na be cute. It'S gon na be cute. I'M excited I'm! So excited I just want to let this one go and go to the next grab. The nixel section also also, please, please use heat protective spray guys please. I literally I've been using heat protectant spray ever since I knew it was a thing because, honestly, once the quality of hair changes because you've applied heat to it, it's like it just never, it's never the same again after that, so make sure you use heat, protects And heat, protect and spray before you guys do all your Styles, but oh, my gosh, this is this is so cute. I'M gon na do a cute little makeup. Look I can't wait. I will see you guys. I just had to quickly check in halfway. Okay, so, as you guys can see, both sides of the hair are curled. This is what the curls look like before they've been brushed out, the hair is laid, it is curled we're gon na brush the curls out now together, because that's like my favorite part um, usually I use like a wide tooth comb for this, but right now I Kind of want, like a really good, thorough brush out so we'll probably either gon na use the tangle teaser or this one, but either way it's going to be super satisfying. So here we go what OMG? Let'S start with this side, because this side is a bit fresh, we literally just finished this from the top. You could use your fingers as well. Stop it looks so pretty so pretty so cute. There we go only in the second, I'm just gon na use. My fingers, I'm just gon na use my fingers brush this out I'll, go in with the tangle teaser in a second, but there is the hair curled installed. It looks so good. Let me back up a little bit, oh good, and it's so full. I think this is what they made when they said the 200 density thing, because this looks yes, so good. Stop. I'M obsessed, I want to show you guys from the side what it looks like how long it is this is. This is what it's giving. This is what it's giving it's really long. It'S really long! It'S really pretty. I feel like we need to finish this video off with a cute little makeup look hold on. Let me just go back in with the Tangled teaser fur, but here we go. Oh stop!
