Getting a little busty here, I used to be this busty. A lot of people be asking is that choice? Is that your hair? Is that your hair? Is that your hair? Is that your hair, yes girl, I paid 200 for this. Of course, this is my hair. It ain't coming out the scalp, though foreign foreign, thank you, foreign foreign, hey guys, Asia Brooklyn here coming back to y'all with another video. Today'S video is gon na, be on this lace. Wig I got from nadula hair. This is a kinky straight unit before we get into it. I did not curl this. All I did was put layers in it. This wig was 24 inches. If I'm not no 22 inches, this wig was 22 inches. So this is a kinky straight unit from nadula hair. If I'm looking off to the side, it's because my mirror is over here and yeah, so this is a 13 by 4 22 inch kinky straight unit. This is supposed to mimic blown out, textured hair. So if you're like natural - and you just run the blow dryer through your hair after you wash it it's supposed to mimic it, but I didn't blow this isn't in its natural state like I just ran the flat iron through it just to get it a little Bit looser when I wear a straight hairstyle, I don't want it bone straight and then I don't want it fluffy I like to get that little mix in between where you get some thickness and some fullness like y'all. I promise this looks like a full healthy head of hair like if you were just, I don't buy silky textured hair for the simple fact that I don't like silky textured hair. I don't care if you buy silky texture in like a higher density. It just don't. Look natural to me my natural hair, when it's flat iron does look like silky hair. If anything, my natural hair looks like a synthetic lace wig when it's straight and it's just really Wiggy looking, but I'd rather wear my natural hair and do a blowout. Because it'll look like this. It gives me that texture without having too much texture and then it still lets me, have my hair flowy without having it just like thin. Looking I'm not a big fan of silky wigs, I don't do silky wigs. I don't do silky textured anything all my hair. Even my synthetic wigs are Yaki. Why am I pointing with this comb when I wear a wig? I want people to ask me: is that my real hair - and I get a lot of that with these textured wigs when I wear silky hair, I get asked. Oh, what kind of wig is that or where did you get that wig from, but when I wear a textured hair like this y'all people, give me compliments. They always say. Is that your real hair and I'm like no, this is a Yaki wig. I need fullness. I need texture when you wear textured hair um, you get actually The Best of Both Worlds. You can get it either bone straight or you can get it fluffy. When you wear silky hair, it's just silky. It'S not going to be voluptuous because it's just silkies, I don't know silky Indian Breezy, hair, just ain't for me. Y'All know I don't touch silk. You got my synthetic wigs aren't even silky. If I wear a synthetic wig, it's going to have some texture to it. Um, I think this wig cost me about 200, which is a steal for, like you know, human hair, a 13x4 human hair lace wig. I got this uh 22 inches at that kinky straight, that's a still, if you're getting it for like 200, because it's just really nice. I really like the texture. I ordered this wig on October 14th and it was delivered to my apartment, complex October 16th. So it was two day shipping. I got the wig like quicker than I anticipated, but let me tell y'all something I did not get this wig in my hands until October 24th, because my incompetent ass leasing office got my package mixed up with someone else's. I know they got it mixed up because I got the USPS tracking. It came through USPS, it said um, oh, the the wig was delivered and signed for I'm like okay, the lease in office said. I don't have it so at this point, I'm like where the hell is this wig, I'm hoping it didn't get lost in transit and a part of me knew it was in the leasing office, because the moment my USPS tracking said delivered, everybody else was walking in And out of the leasing office with their packages, except for Asia, I called them. I'Ve spoke to two different people. I said it says, delivered and someone's saying that y'all don't have it. She said, oh, we don't have it and I'm thinking they were saying not to get me off the phone because, like they closed at six and it was like 5 40 something so she was doing whatever she did to get me off the phone I caught up There, the next morning - because I wasn't about to hassle with that, but I caught up there the next morning and asked them my package says: deliver two people in the leasing office said that it wasn't delivered. I need to find this package and they said okay. Well, you can come down here and help us look and I'm like in my head. I'M like that's, not my job either way I go. I reached out to support because a part of me felt like the package may have got lost in transit and they were. I will say this they're very good with communication like really lose your package or if you do not receive your order, they will communicate with you and they will help work with you to get to your package. But I was going to file a claim and something said you know what girl just wait: that package gon na show up nine times out of ten it's in the office and the leasing agents are just being incompetent and don't want to look for your package. So I just said I just chill I'm over here like okay, this package is gon na show up and if not I'm gon na show out, I get a call or I get a text message on my phone on October 24th and it's from my leasing office. They send out, like automated text messages to the tenants here. So my text message said you have a package in the leasing office like okay cool. This is the pan up there. They gave me this package and I was gon na say now. Had this been a time sensitive package, how would y'all have handled this like? Let'S be real? That'S why I call them incompetent, because if that was something that made or break my job and my income, I would have been asked out and they wouldn't have been getting a rent and I would have suit their asses for damages. But that's gon na be for another story. We gon na talk more about this wig y'all. So again I ordered this on October 14th and it was delivered to my leasing office on October 16th. So if you get the wig you're more than likely going to get it, it came all the way from Cali too. So if you order the wig, I think it may be automatic two-day shipping. Let'S just pray, what happened to me. It doesn't happen to you with whatever Community you live in um, but we're gon na continue, so the hair is 22 inches. Of course, um I'm not gon na lie. I did cut it some more because it came a little bit past my boob a little bit under my boob this I did cut it though, because I'm like, and I don't like hair that goes past, my boobs like it just it doesn't look natural because I'm Already 5'2 and anything long on me just doesn't look natural. I think this might be Malaysian hair or Brazilian hair, I'm not sure. As long as it's not silky or Breezy, I don't like it. I love the texture because it's supposed to mimic natural blown out kinky hair. This is what my natural hair looks like blown out after I wash it. It'S very I mean my hair is a little bit Fuller. To be honest, this is really Fuller, but I just ran the flat iron through it and the hot comb through it - and this is, I don't want it to be too thin. I don't want it to be too flat. I don't want it to be too straight. Like I said, I don't want my hair to be too thin too flat too straight. I just ran the flat iron through it once on the highest setting and left it alone. I did the hot comb at the top too just to take some of the volume off. If I want to wear it full and thick, I will, but I like this natural fullness, that's going on here. It'S not too thick, not too thin, and it's just the right texture and it's just the right fullness. That'S another thing I like about wearing kinky wigs. You get the best of both worlds. If I wanted this to be bone straight, I could do that which We're not gon na do. But if I wanted this to be really full, I could do that and, of course, if I wanted it to be a cross between like a mix in between full and like straight, this is what it's given. So you get three options when it comes to kinky hair, I feel like with silky hair. You really only get two options. You either get extremely flat, extremely thin or somewhat like this after you wash it and let it air dry, I'm not talking trash about people who love their beloved silky hair. It'S just your girl is not a silky hair fan like I'm, not one, I'm not in a silky Hair Group, but not straighten my natural hair y'all. It looks like a silky synthetic wig like it looks, really silky and that's probably why I don't like silky hair when I like flat iron, my natural hair. It gets bone straight to the point where it's very flimsy and it's loose, but in its most natural state. It'S thick, so this is mimicking my natural hair texture when I just run the flatter when I run the hot comb through it after a blowout. This is what it's given. This is like my natural hair texture. This came pre-plugs, so you get 13 inches of lace. So y'all can see where the lace stops and the rest of that is all weft. Just to part this out, you can see where the lace stops versus where the left begins, and I think they did a good job constructing this cap. It'S just I'm gon na really have to go in and make that lay back. I didn't glue all of it down. I only glued the top part down, because this is going to be covering all that, but I did glue it down once before, and I'm gon na show y'all this wig. I did not pluck it, but I did bleach the knots. So if I were to go in and glue this wig down, this is what it would look like. Y'All can't tell me this is what this wig would look like if I were to go in and glue it down like really take my time and work with this wig. It would look really good and I glue it down before, but I'm just not gon na. Do that, for the sake of being able to take it off when I feel like it, I bleach the knots. The knots did not come bleached and I kind of screwed up because I bleached it to the point where you can actually see the roots are dyed and they kind of bleach the roots of the hair. But I'm not tripping. I'M gon na eventually go back in and modify it and just cover the roots up, make sure I don't like touch the knots or anything it came pre-plucked. It did not come with the knots bleached. I cut layers into this wig when I first got the wig. All of it was straight down and it was pretty like don't get me wrong. I kind of regret bleaching the knots because I screwed up the lace a little bit when I first got the wig like I know, y'all see how good the lace look. Well, when I bleach the knots the bleach ran through and got onto the roots, and it wasn't really bad like it was just probably an inch onto the roots, but I bleached the knots and I'm like. Okay. Maybe I should have not done that and I decided to go in I'm just gon na go in later and fix it. It'S not a big deal to me. I did cut layers in it um I, like my hair layered. I don't like it all one length and normally, when it's in one length it's giving more Tisha Adams - and I didn't want to do that. So I kind of cut some face framing layers and I was on the verge of cutting the curtain bags. But I said you know what we just gon na remember what we got and eventually, if I get tired of this look I'll cut some curtain bangs into it, shedding is really good like this. Wig does not shed at all. It does not shed if I were to run my fingers through the wig, no shedding whatsoever no shedding, and that's what I like about this wig like for it to be pretty cheap, because this is a cheap wig and you get what you pay for with cheap Hair, so don't think you're gon na get the best of both worlds. If you skimp out on price, if you skimp out you're gon na lose something um and I'm gon na tell you the biggest con that I have with this wig y'all. It doesn't hold a curl. This wig does not hold curls y'all, like it doesn't um. The biggest con I have with this wig is the fact that it does not hold curls at all, like you could put a curl in it bump a nice tight, curl and then probably a few hours later. The curl is going to be very, very loose. If anything this morning around like 8 A.M, I bump the ends of this and, like I went through, I straightened it and I bumped the ends of it and now it looks like this, but I did get the flat iron, so I can show y'all what it Looks like with a curl in it because it looks beautiful, especially when you put layers in it face framing layers round layers, whatever you want to call it, it looks really good and I'm gon na show y'all um. So let me just take that part back. I'M gon na show y'all how this hair curls, so I got my flat iron. This is just the Conair flat iron and then I'm just bumping it under so y'all see how that kind of just bumped that hair under I'm gon na do the same thing on this side and y'all, see that and just bumping this under I'm not bumping it Under too tight, but I just want it to be under so it'll fall. Oh that was a little too tight, so it bumps pretty good but y'all. I promise you probably in an hour or two tight, probably in an hour. This blunt is gon na be back flat, so make the best with what you got while you got them curls, they say put hairspray in it or whatever, but I really don't want anything right away: the hair down. Okay, let me just do this side and I just run the ends through. I don't try to do it too, perfect, y'all, I'm not a hair stylist, I'm not a professional stylist. I just I work with what I got. Let me just show y'all this last piece. I don't want to do anything extra like I just want to do something simple and just bump it so when it's all bumped under like that I'll go through and I'll get all of it that I can fit and I'll try to do a uniform bomb. That way, all of it is bumped under, and this is what it looks like with the layers like. I didn't even show y'all like, because I cut extra layers in this, but um yeah. This is what that looks like if I were to curl this and if I were to like throw it back, I'm gon na do the curl test on this just to show y'all how well it curls, but it sucks at holding a curl. So I'm gon na just do this little piece right there and I'm just gon na flip it around and just pull and y'all gon na see how well it curls, like trust me, and if I wanted to do a better curl I can, but it does curl Like it really does, the only problem is it doesn't hold a curl y'all see if it really held the curl. It wouldn't have been able to do that. So I'm gon na do this side just to really get that bump that I want in there. I'M just trying to get the natural look and I'm gon na fix my lace too, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. So if my legs ain't glued down, I don't care. I'M just doing this for the sake of the video I'm just showing y'all how the hair looks when it's styled and when it's bumped and when it's curled it's good, because I got some pearls like I don't want it to where it's turning into ringlets. I kind of want that Aaliyah layer y'all know how Aaliyah always had her hair layered. She had all of them layers so that girl had like 35 layers in her head, really that whole 90s Trend was like big on the layers and just bump in the Hat. One more time under like that and on this side I do have some hairspray that I can put on this, but I'm gon. Na be honest. I don't want to do that next, I'm going in with my Pantene truly natural conditioning serum. This is just going to help my hair stay silky. I only do like a dime size amount, and I rub it in and I just kind of fluff the hair out go under. You definitely want to do it at the nape part, because y'all know wigs start to tangle, quick at the nape. So I'm just running this through my hair, I'm not putting too much on it because I don't want it to weigh the hair down. But this is just gon na make the hair silky and just make sure it doesn't tangle, make sure it doesn't get thick and coarse and hard, and it's just gon na make it even more flowy so doing that, and we should be good to go. There. Y'All see that y'all see how the curl is starting to fall. I'M telling y'all I'm not playing it's curly. The curls really be falling on this wig that works. For me. We'Re gon na do one more bump, because again the curls be falling on this thing. So just the steady flick like that and then let that go if it falls for the rest of the day. Oh well, I'm gon na do the same thing on this side. I did dye this wig like that and that works throw that back and I'm gon na show y'all what it looks like from the bed. I did dye this wig when I first got this Wig. It Came in like the color four. It was like a reddish brown like an auburn, color um. It wasn't working for me because just I can't do brown, hair brown hair doesn't look good on me. It doesn't look natural on me, so I went in and I water dyed the wig, because that brown color on my head just wasn't looking good, I'm gon na go in and I might dye it again. I dyed it um jet black. This is, I don't know. If this is given jet black, but when you get in the light, it has a couple of brownish undertones which I'm not tripping, because my natural hair has that too. But I feel like I might go back in with another jet black and do a water dye on this again. I just might. I just threw all the hair to the back, because I'm gon na do a 360 pan rotation, so y'all can see what the hair looks like uh from all angles, and I'm in my rotating chair. This is what the hair looks like from this quarter angle, or I don't know if this is a side angle or a quarter angle, but this is what the hair looks like a little bit lower, so y'all could see. Y'All might get my back fat in there, but I don't care. So this is what it all looks like and I'm just keep turning uh-oh. Thank you. It'S giving both speech is giving reach Beach.
