Changing My Hair... To Dye Or Not To Dye? Do We Like The Wig??

I really want to dye my hair dark red, but if you remember me from when I had platinum blonde hair, then you know I'm traumatized because my hair got murdered so instead of dying, let's just get a wig. I got this Human Hair lace front wig from Amazon. It was only 95 bucks by the way it's linked to my storefront. If you want it but she's. Looking so good and I feel like I could just throw her on sometimes when I want to go out and be a different person, so I'm going out tonight. So, let's put it on for real, I don't have a lot of hair, so I'm just gon na put it in a little low bun and throw on a little bald cap I'm debating. If I want to do it the right way and like put it over my ear and secure it down, but I'm feeling lazy like it's only gon na be on for a couple hours, so I'm doing this um in the most lazy way possible. So this is not a tutorial: okay again, not a tutorial, I'm just gon na kind of go through this, get it on there quickly. But, oh my God. She looks so good. Look at that hairline, so I just slide on the top and then curled my hair, which I was excited about because curled hair doesn't look very good on my short hair, so this is styled versus unstyled and it honestly looks good either way. But this is fully styled and I love it. What do you guys think should I dye my hair this color, or should I just keep wearing the wig

anarchyneverdies: Keep the wig! Red is so hard to get out and about as damaging as blond (because you have to lighten your natural hair with bleach or 40v with dye otherwise it won’t lift)

Ray Fields: Red is the hardest color to lift so I would suggest keeping the wig for now bc ur hair will be scarred if u commit to red

Allyssa Buthmann: Wear the wig. Red dye washes out very quickly and very weirdly. A red wig is less maintenance and if you get bored with red hair, you can easily change it to your natural hair or get a different wig.
