lace spray my first wig hd lace

So if you're watching this video, you probably have experienced irritation from lace, glue or you're trying to figure out what lace glue do I need to avoid, but don't worry, I got you hey Queens! Welcome to my channel. It'S your favorite gym African, queen. If you're new here, please don't forget to like comment or subscribe, whichever one you feel compelled to do, but if you're an OG welcome back and let's get into what happened with this lace glue. That has me all irritated. So I want to get into what is in lace glue like, I really don't feel like we look at the ingredients. I feel like we more so look at. What are you gon na do for me? Are you going to protect me from the rain? Are you going to protect me while I'm at the gym, so my wig isn't sliding back? Are you gon na expose Me by turning white whenever I sweat at the fair or at Six Flags or wherever, I'm at? I really don't feel like we put emphasis on that and that's a problem, because we really don't know what we're putting on our skin. We just need it for the now, not thinking about the future. So thinking about, what's in lace glue, I try to do a little bit of research on my favorite glue, so Erica J's glue, lace, grip, bold hold, not my favorite, but I did my research on it. Ghost Bond all of these products and what I'm seeing is a lot of them just say no latex non-toxic and it seems like the ingredients, aren't really matching up when thinking about the ingredients of a lace glue. I'Ve noticed that there's a common ingredient that is in a lot of different lace, glues and that would be latex. A lot of people really don't know that they're allergic to latex until they actually have an interaction with latex and then they find out they're allergic to latex or you could be born with a reaction. You know, I don't know when you are allergic to latex. You will develop a rash, you will break up into hives. It really just depends on your body and honestly with a lot of these lace. Glues. It really just depends on your skin type. So when I was doing my research, I saw that there were actually a ton of different lace, glues that are latex free, the ones that are latex free lace, grip, bold, hold goat glue. This is a glue that I've wanted to try. I just haven't got around to trying it because it says that it takes like two weeks to ship out, so I've been very weary of trying that one I need it now and Erica Jay's lace glue. Let'S just get to the story of what's going on with me. As far as lace glues, I started using Erica J's lace glue about two years ago. I actually made a video on it about a year ago, I'll link it here, and it was my number one lace glue. If you haven't seen it, please go ahead and go check it out. There are plenty of other lace, glues that are on there listed. If you want to try those - and just you can see my opinion, but I've been using Erica, J's lace, glue for about a year and a half two years and I really haven't had any irritations with it. It has been my go-to glue for a very long time and I was exposed to Erica J's lace glue through arrogant, taste Instagram because he swears by it so about five months ago I noticed I started breaking out into this rash. That would go across my forehead. Basically, where my lace glue set, it would be right in front of it so say I'm adding lace glue and the hives or the rash would like break out on the outskirts of it. So, of course, this is terrible because there's a rash, but I need to wear makeup. I need to do my baby hairs and the rashes right where I need to do my baby hairs. It was very inconvenient. I had a hard time figuring out what this rash was. I went to tick tock. Nobody was talking about having a rash, I really didn't understand what was going on with me. I was like. Can I not wear wigs anymore? What'S going on when I developed the rash, it would stay for about a week, and I would notice that it would be these small bumps. As you can can see here, I would typically put like some Aquaphor on it just to kind of calm it down. It felt really dry. It literally looked like at least 30 pimples that needed to be popped in one area and it was happening on this side and then sometimes it would happen here. There were times where I was trying to take my lace off and then there would just be this rash that didn't have the bumps, but it was just a raised rash and it would go all the way across the circumference of my head. So, in order to get rid of the rash, I placed Aquaphor on it and I just kind of treated it. I stopped wearing my wig for about a week and it basically would just dry up and Flake off and become new skin on its own. But I really needed to understand what this was. It was leaving discoloration on my forehead and I wasn't sure if I was just always going to have this rash or this discoloration on my forehead. It was a terrible time. It wasn't until I looked up sensitive skin lace, glue on Tick Tock that I found that this is actually a common thing for lace, wig wearers. I did some research on Erica, J's lace glue and it doesn't look like she has any toxic ingredients. So one of the ingredients that is on there is polyacrylic acid and apparently that one isn't even strong enough to penetrate into the Skin Barrier, so that shouldn't cause any type of irritation and then the other one is a non-ionic surf attent. I think I said that right that one's also used in like shampoos conditioners hair products, makeup products, it doesn't seem non-toxic, it didn't say it had any toxic chemicals in it. So Erica J's lace glue actually isn't toxic, I don't know what's going on and why it's irritating me. I went ahead and tried to find a no latex non-toxic glue and I came across the lace grip glue, which is a glue that I've used before. But it wasn't doing exactly what I needed to do so I switched to Erica J's glue. Like I said, I want to use the goat glue I'll go ahead and leave a link Down Below in the description box. If you want to check that glue out as well, I've been dying to try it. If you try it, please leave a comment down below, because I really want to purchase it. It just takes too long to get here. The things that I like about lace grip is that it is non-toxic. It doesn't irritate my skin whatsoever. It does hold very well and it dries very quick. Now, when I put this in side by side comparison with Erica Jay's lace, glue, Erica, J's life glue comes out on top. The only issue is that Erica, Jay's lace glue gives me irritation, but as far as the hold Erica, she has the game sewed up and when it comes to not turning white. That is another issue I have with this glue with the lace grip glue. This glue tends to have a white cast to it whenever I'm working out sweating in the shower. What have you Erica, J's lace glue it does that, but it doesn't do it as quickly as the lace grip glue will do it. I 100 Love Erica, J's lace glue. I wish it didn't irritate me the way that it does, but lace grip is a very great comparison to that one. If you're looking for a more affordable glue where you can just try things out, they Eben the e-b-i-n. They have one that says non-toxic, but let me tell you that does not hold. I tried it because I was waiting for my lace grip to come in. It does not hold. I don't suggest you do it, but if you're looking for ability, that's the one when it comes to looking at the ingredients on lace, glue bottles, I noticed that they really don't list every single ingredient. It'S very basic. It'S very minimum. The Erica lace glue has three ingredients, this lace grip. It doesn't even have ingredients on the bottle, it just says: latex free, no harsh solvents high humidity. There are no ingredients on this. So a lot of the lace, glues really do get away with not telling you exactly what's in the bottle. I feel like that's another issue and why we're not sure what's irritating us, because I think that there is some type of Regulation that they don't have to list each ingredient. I could be wrong. Of course, that is my opinion. I'M not familiar with developing lace glue. So I'm not sure and I'm not a scientist, but for me I think that some of them may be withholding some ingredients that is causing irritation for us all right Queens. It is time to wrap this video up. Thank you so much for sticking around. I hope that you felt value in this video if you're going through the same thing just know: you're not alone, we have to find sensitive skin lace, glues that are non-toxic, and if you have any questions, don't forget to leave a comment down below. We can talk about it and maybe there's someone in the community that actually has the answer for you or I have the answer for you so don't be afraid to leave a comment down below, don't be afraid to subscribe to because I'm almost to a thousand subscribers And I would appreciate it if you helped me get there other than that. Deven Rudder: Bandaids actually break me out as well and so does ghost bond. They both have acrylate and methacrylate properties, so I think it has something to do with that. I just ordered 5 different glues so I can do patch testing on my arm and see what is and isn't going to work, but the problem is that everyone only lists ACTIVE ingredients and not inactive ingredients. So, it's impossible to really pinpoint what is and isn't causing the contact dermatitis. And allergies can develop over time with use, too. I had a rash like you did, woke up with so much pain one night and all but ripped the lace off my head. I was so scared it was going to leave scarring it was so bad, but it ended up going away after 3 weeks. SIDE NOTE: Check the ingredients of the skin protectants we use before applying the glue. A lot of the "skin protectants" have way worse ingredients than the actual glue itself.

Robert Martin: Oil resistant white glue is good too. It’s expensive but it works for me FOR NOW. But I used to be able to wear it for weeks now I change it after a couple of days. I’m going to try lace grip and goat glue. Thanks for the tips.

blooeyedtigger: For the “rash” it’s just a conglomerate of pimples due to a buildup of bacteria. I’ve has those before from dirty scarves and bonnets. Did you make sure your skin and the lace was clean before applying?

Jen Rivera: Very informative! Needed this!

JamaicanTrenahhh: So which one do you recommend for sensitive skin?

J: Have you tried using a skin protectant then the glue? I have the same issue but my skin just get itchy but everyone recommended me to use a skin barrier first then the glue my next install imma see if that helps

The Jamafrican Queen: Thanks for watching

Ngowerikumo Olaere: You said bold hold is not your favorite, why please?

RISKOWIN LEAD: Good morning my friend’ always faithfully came to watch until he runs out of my friend
