Hey guys, what's up and welcome back to my channel, today's video is going to be very casual straight to the point and just very informative on things that i think are very useful in your curly hair journey and just like different tools that i think are worth Spending the money on so my first one just kind of goes back to the overall health of your curly hair. If you do not have a healthy scalp, then your curls probably aren't going to thrive in order to keep my hair and my scalp healthy. I use this scalp brush from media beauty. This is by the instagramer youtuber blogger, amanda walker. If you don't follow her, you should she does have her own line um. She offers these scalp brushes a diffuser and i believe, a detangling brush. Now i'll link this down below link everything down below, but i really do like this. I use this in the shower when i'm doing you know my shampoo wash day routine, but i also use this when i add oils to my hair just at night sometimes and then use this - maybe not like when my hair styled, but i might do this night Before i wash my hair and just kind of get the oils into my scalp for the next wash day, my next tool of choice is a brush, and this is my denman brush. There are many different types of devin brushes out there. I unfortunately have the mini one. I don't know how i ended up with this, but i just never went to the store and bought a new one um. This one is the one two three four five row and i ended up taking out two rows, but you know this is just a really great brush. There'S many things to do with it. Many different techniques. This is not a detangling brush. This is a styling brush. This is used to clump your curls and to just aid better results at the end of your routine. My next thing is also a brush. This is my tangle teezer. I use this in the shower every single time i shower well, every single time i wash my hair um to detangle. Obviously oh my gosh, it's so disgusting. I'Ve had this for a few years. Now it lasts forever. These bristles are very soft, very bendable. It will not pull or damage or rip out your hair, and i do recommend this for anybody who has trouble detangling in the shower. There are many different types of detangling brushes out there. This is the only one that i've tried um this one and then like another version, that's not the tangle teaser. I might go out and buy some more just to test them out, but for now this is what i use and it works perfectly for my hair. My next one is something very important for every single curly girl, especially if you are experiencing a lot of frizz and it is just to get a silk or satin pillowcase. You don't have to get the most expensive one out there on the market. I know there's ones out there for like 90 to 100, this one's just off of amazon. It works perfectly fine and i wake up with very little frizz in the morning that pillowcase is not only great for your hair, but it's also great for your skin, and something else that i use on top of the pillowcase is also this satin bonnet this bonnet. I believe is from i'm not sure exactly where it's from, but i'll try to find it and link it down below it's probably from like walmart or something or amazon. I like this one, a lot because it has a thick band um, i'm weird and i pull this down over my face and use it as an eye mask. Don'T ask me why um, but i just did it one night and now i use it like that. Every single night - but i really like this one - it's huge it fits all of my hair. So if you have long thick, hair, um like longer and thicker than mine, this will be perfect for you, because it is so so big. This will just help preserve your curls at night. I know some bonnets fall off, so if you do have a bonnet that falls off. It'S really important to have that satin pillowcase to fall back on. I wear this every single night. I do not skip a night without the bonnet, so this is just another great way to help, like i said, preserve your curls, but also to reduce frizz. Another thing that i don't go to bed without is my satin scrunchie, and i know everybody's been like hopping on this train. I'Ve just been seeing it a lot lately. Um i've used these for a long time, but i know a lot of people are just figuring them out um. This one is just from insert name here every time you order a ponytail. It comes with a satin scrunchie. So i really love that they're great for curly hair, any sort of hair - actually um will benefit from these. It just helps from pulling out hair unnecessarily and it is very soft and it does not create frizz you'll see a common theme here is not creating frizz, because that is every curly girl's nightmare i mean a little bit of frizz is normal, but we don't want To take it overboard, another one which i cannot live without is my hair pick. There are many different types of hair picks out there on the market, ranging from 99 cents up to probably 20. If not more, i have no idea. I have had this pick forever. I'M pretty sure it was like my dad's pick or something i do not know where it came from, but it works perfectly fine. I do eventually want to get the pattern beauty pick just because i think it's so pretty and it comes with a carrying case and who doesn't want that, but get yourself just any 99 cent pick it will do the job. This will really help step up your routine in terms of volume. Just you know, adding a little bit of volume to your routine does not hurt anybody. This one isn't necessarily a must, but it does come in handy. This is a microfiber towel. You can swap this out for any cotton t-shirt. It just depends what your budget is and what you're willing to you know buy and have for your curly hair routines. But this, i think, is just from amazon um, i'm not exactly sure, but i will link one from amazon or somewhere similar down below it. Just helps again to prevent frizz and breakage and split ends. So, like i said earlier, a cotton t-shirt will do the same thing, but if you just want to step your game up, this works even better. I will say the advantage of this over a cotton t-shirt. Is this retains a little bit more moisture? I'M sorry! This soaks up a little bit more moisture, so i think this will help dry, your hair, a bit faster than a t-shirt, but essentially it's doing the same thing this next one. I surprisingly get a lot of questions about in my comments, section on youtube and tiktok and instagram if i post that on there ever. But this is my water bottle. I got this a couple of years ago actually and it's a big game changer, it's again not necessary, but it does come in handy because it is long mist. So you can just hold this down. Oh, my gosh, i'm getting everything wet, but you can just hold this down and the mist just comes out in a very steady stream. This just helps to target the water a little bit easier. It makes a very fine mist, so you're not getting like large droplets of water on your hair, and i think it really just does help step up your curly hair routine, again, not necessary, but it is helpful. Okay and then my last one again is not necessary. None of these are necessary, but if you are looking for proper tools - and this is what this video is for - this one is an edge brush. A lot of people just use a toothbrush. I could never get that to work. I don't know what it was about. My curls or my edges or what but it just never worked for me. So i went to amazon, of course, and got this edge brush this one. If it'll focus - i don't know it just - is very flat on this on the front um and then this other end has a little comb. Whichever one suits how you do your edges, i don't use this side. I use this side. I know there are fancier ones on the market again, i think pattern. Beauty has one, but i think these work just fine. It comes in a pack of two, for i want to say under ten dollars if you're looking for a proper edge brush, i do recommend these ones, so i hope you guys found this video helpful, maybe you're shopping for yourself, maybe you're shopping for another curly girl Or friends or family for christmas, and you just don't know what to get them. Any of these tools are helpful and beneficial to anybody's curly, hair routine, and even if you don't have curly hair, you will find some of these beneficial and helpful. Oh actually, one more thing that i thought i would add that i did not have on my list, but it's sitting right next to me is a diffuser. Any diffuser will work. Of course you can go up in price and that might help with frizz or you know, definition a little bit. But if you're just getting started and you're on a budget, any diffuser will work, but i just want to throw that out there anyway. So yeah. I hope you guys like this video, i want to say all of these are under i think 20, so they are very affordable, not all necessary, but will make a big difference in your routine i'll. Have everything linked down below so thank you guys again and i'll see you in the next video bye foreign
