How To Wear Women'S Hair Pieces : Hair Styling Tips

Hi everyone, i'm hairstylist amanda shackleton from amandashackleton.com, and i'm here today to show you how to use hair pieces in women's hairstyles. There'S a lot of different uh hair pieces out there. I like to use the strips of hair when i'm adding them to an updo, because they can give volume and just add it and look like you - have a little bit more hair and give a little more bit more interest to the hairstyle. So all i'm going to do is take this strip of hair, which i bought at the beauty supply store. I cut about a foot of hair off and i'm just going to go ahead and fold up the ends just like this and then with the bobby pin. I'M going to take it and put it on top of the ponytail that i have here, go ahead and pin it in and then i'm just going to incorporate it into the hairstyle. I'M going to mess this hair up. Tease it up really really messy to get a lot of volume for the back of the hair and also do the same to the natural hair, your model's natural hair, and then you can pretty much do whatever shape and whatever design you want. I'M just going to take it without without really messing it up too much and just do a really big kind of loose bun on the hair. I think this is really pretty because it's one of those styles, that's not too perfect. It looks it's supposed to be a little bit messier, so don't worry about getting it too perfect, so you'll put about five or six pins into it. Let me get this side a little nicer looking and let's get one more pin right here to hold this up. Go ahead and give it some hairspray tighten it up where it needs to be tightened, and then i'm just going to go in at the end and add a really pretty pin to the hair. I just picked this pin that looks like this. It'S just got a nice sparkle to it and i think it's going to give a nice little finish to the hairstyle. Let a little bit of that peek out turn our model around and there you go. I'Ve just shown you how to use hair pieces and incorporate it into a hairstyle
