Hi, and welcome to my channel! I am a Beauty Addict and love to create how-to beauty tutorials for short hair and hairstyles, Fashion, and some dry humor parodies. I try to make my videos informative, creative and most importantly entertaining. I love interacting with my viewers. Let's get to know each other.

Love, Milabu

[ Laughing ] Hello, my lovelies and welcome back. Today we're gon na test, most useful hair accessories, And then I'm going to share some of my most useful hair accessories as well.. So let's get started.. Let'S start off with this towel scrunchie., Let's see how it works. See how it performs. - And I want to compare it to my most useful hair tool or hair accessory. It'S my Aquis, hair turban, towel., Love love these towels., Let's go take a shower and then let's see how these perform with wet hair.. Alright. So let's put the towel scrunchie versus the hair turbine towel to a test., I'm literally gon na do half of the head. Each. - and they basically just say you, take the hair and you kind of just put it up into a bun and just gently put it in your hair.. Obviously, it's gon na be better if it's the whole head. The reason why I wan na do this, for myself is just to really see which one I prefer. `Cause, I feel like both are pretty convenient and they both have similar properties for the materials.. So the scrunchie is a microfiber scrunchie and then this is polyester and I think nylon and I think they were saying, There's some type of microfiber as well.. I'Ve had these Aquis towels for several years already, and I just love them. With these scrunchies. I feel like I would really enjoy these after the gym, putting my hair up or even at the gym like they were saying yoga session when your hair is nice and sweaty, and you just want it all All up out of your face and like get rid Of that moisture out of your hair. And then obviously like in the summertime, if you're out, hiking jogging and then they're saying like a pool swimming in the lake ocean whatever., So I feel like. I would appreciate that a little bit more versus putting my hair up'cause, the thing is, the rest of your hair is not covered, so it's I don't know I feel like. I would enjoy this more because I do enjoy it., But we'll see I do like the convenience of the hair scrunchies and the like how big they are. All right. I'll, see you guys in a little bit and we'll see how the hair looks. It's been. Roughly 20 minutes and I had to redo my towel three times `cause, it just kept falling off my hair, because that's not how you're supposed to wear it You're supposed to wear it on your entire head, but I just. For the sake of the video I wanted To do half and half., So let's see what the hair looks. Like., You can see it's not as wet anymore. Like it's, not soaking wet as it was pre-towel.. Let'S check this one out right, here. Feels nice and damp., So it definitely took a lot of that moisture out, but I feel, like this side looks less damp than this side. Yeah. This side still feels quite wet a little bit. Heavier.. This side is a little bit less damp., But then again obviously like you guys saw it only soaks up the moisture or the water around the part where it's holding the hair so the rest of the hair, it's exposed., But with the towel. That'S why I appreciate this towel here. Any kind of hair turban is because your whole head is covered in a towel. It soaks up that moisture as much as it possibly can. But yeah. I think the towel definitely wins for me for after the shower, just because it does a better job, it's more consistent and even.. So this next one is really interesting.. I'Ve never tried this one out before.. This is by the brand Invisibobble, and this is their styling hair ring. And it's in ``, Nano ,'', they're, saying ``, Hair tie or bobby pin Both !'' the styling hair ring and it's patented, and it's really interesting.. So they show on the back kind of what kind of hairstyles they did. And it literally looks like you, use this to style your hair, like a braid, any kind of hair access, ..., any kind of hairstyle. That requires clear elastics, but the are very miniature.. I just I'm not understanding what they're saying is a bobby pin.. I think this is good for, like after you braid., I just wan na see. If I could actually do anything right, here., Nope, ..., That's way too small.. Let me just braid like the end of this hair., Okay, I went twice., Oh third time .... I don't think I'll be able to do a third time. Okay.. I like how tiny they are, but let me show you what a clear elastic looks like.. I feel like it looks better with a clear elastic cause. It'S so much smaller.. So I think the one thing about this, that's really great for the Invisibobble nano is it's reusable they're, very tiny.. That way, you can do smaller sections and you can create different hairstyles. That way, you don't need to use bobby pins., But the thing is they're not as inconspicuous and they're, not that cute in the hair, I guess, is what I'm trying to say.. So both of these have their pluses and minuses, the minus for the clear, elastic. They're, not always reusable, they can snag the hair very easily and they can break the hair. Really easily. Versus this they're saying it's a little more gentle on the hair And I feel like I'll use I'll lose these really quick., Just like my bobby pins and my clear elastics, but which one is easiest to take off just very gently. I guess. Just take that out of the hair.. It looks like it didn't: snag: anything., Okay, that's nice., And then with this I'm just gon na use my little cuticle Just like that. And it's out. Yeah. I guess you can find a use for this right. Here., Like I said, if you have smaller children and you kind of wan na, tell them hey. This is really nice little cute little hair tie. I got for you. And you can do smaller sections with this, which I really appreciate.. You don't have to use clear. Elastics'Cause sometimes they can be a pain in the butt to get into hair, especially for kids that are moving their head around.. So I really like these.. I do like that and I think they are a very useful hair accessory. Let'S move on to the next one. This next one is also by the brand Invisibobble., And this is their traceless bun tool. So this secures the bun it's quick and easy to use invisible in the hair.. It'S light feel high wearing comfort, traceless and hair loving.. So, let's see how we do this., Oh okay., The instructions are quite clear. So you twist your hair, you wrap it into a bun, and then you place the bun star flat on the head with opening facing upwards towards the sun and you screw it in towards the bun until your hair is held securely.. So let's do that.. How about we do two buns Might as well. We have two tools right, So they're saying hold it up. ... Can't really see in the mirror what I'm doing? Okay! Well, that was it.. You kind of got ta play with that Right. Now it's not sitting as tight., So obviously I need to play with it and see how to make it work best in my hair., Okay got that one. Still not as good, but I feel like there's the way you place it and you screw it into your Head is a big indicator of how this is going to look.. It'S kind of reminding me of the hair screw method like these actual screws, that kind of look like DNAs, but you take them and you screw it into your hair. That way: they're invisible! You don't have to use the bobby pins and they're reusable and you can do them for so many different hairstyles.. So I think that's what this has kind of reminded me of, but they're just flatter and they're wider. So that way you can grab more hair. And they do feel quite comfortable in the head, but I feel like if I were to go out and play tennis right now. It would completely fall out.. So that's one thing I feel like it's not as tight and even in their pictures right here. The hairstyle does not like at least the bun. It doesn't look tight. You can see the hair is kind of and expanded a little bit.. Let me take this out.. You basically just unscrew this.. The thing is, I feel like this is not gon na be as comfortable in the hair. Just because it's such a hard plastic.. I guess I kind of want to do a high bun and see how that's going to hold. Yeah. Like you screw it in, and then it just kind of wants to unwind a little bit. And then this is where it sits. Comfortably., As you can see, it's holding up pretty well. But again, like I feel like. I would need two of these in my hair to have it nice and secure. Eh .... I feel like mm. No, I don't like this. And it gets you can get hair stuck in there. All right.. Let me use try these little screws. Yeah. I feel like with these screws. You can be A little more precise, But I think the best method, if you want a really secure Top bun or a bun in general, is a hair tie and some bobby pins.. But something like this, I feel like it only goes a certain amount And then it just doesn’t do a great job. Yeah. I think these are definitely way more useful, Then something like this. This next one is genius and it's very useful.. So this right here is a hair, elastic or clear, elastic. Cutter.. That way, you don't have to rip it out of your hair.. You don't have to try to unwind it and take it out.. If I don't have this, I use something like this.. This is a cuticle remover., It's phenomenal., It does the job. Basically, you just need a razor or just a little cutter on one end.. This one, I like it's kind of nice cause. You can't really hurt yourself., Not even sure how you would actually hurt yourself. This. You can hurt yourself with this cuticle remover. You can like poke yourself., So you got ta, be very cautious.. So, let's just see how this one works. We're gon na, take a clear elastic and just quickly just basically tie it into my hair. And instead of taking the clear elastic out, I'm just gon na take this little tool go inside just wan na be very careful. Just to grab the clear elastic and not my hair. There, you go. See how easy that was. I'll say. The only thing is just be careful how you're using it to cut it., Maybe have somebody else, especially if you have it in the back to make sure you don't cut your actual hair, just the clear elastic.. But I like something like this: the cuticle eraser, just because you you hold it And it just snaps the clear elastic, really effortlessly. And I've never actually cut my hair using this tool. All right, so the next hair accessory that, I believe is so useful, is a Must for everybody is a detangling brush.. This one in particular, is the Tangle Teezer, their detangling hairbrush.. It'S just so good. It'S phenomenal. The one thing is you wanna start off very gentle towards the bottom, but it just does such a beautiful job. And I enjoy brushing my hair out very gently when it's damp with something like this versus like a wide tooth comb.. If I'm putting any kind of product in my hair like a styling product or like a leave-in conditioner, I feel like it really distributes the product into the hair. More evenly., I'm going to use my IGK, the Good Behavior 4-in-1 Prep Spray.. The next super useful hair accessory is some kind of hair crock clip.. This is what it looks like. It has these little teeth at the top and then teeth right at the bottom. And they're, usually quite strong.. Really you have to kind of force them to open them up., And these are really great to section hair when you're styling your hair blow drying curling waving straitening, whatever it is.. I think this is good for all sorts of different hair types and something these particular ones that have these kind of little claws or little teeth on them., They're really strong and I think they're phenomenal, but please be careful just to rip them out of your hair. Make sure you open that up and then take them out really gently just because they are so strong. Next most useful hair accessory are little hair clips.. So this is what it looks. Like. You've seen me use these so many multiple times on this channel.. When I do usually my makeup, I wan na get my hair out of the face and I don't wan na leave any kind of creasing in my hair., So these ones are just from Amazon or these, I think, might actually be Kitsch. But I have some from Amazon as well that I really enjoy., But the one thing I don't like about these is they're too short right here.. So I picked up some of these by Harry Josh and these ones, so many people rave about them, because they're so much bigger. You can see how much bigger the clip is on the back versus this.. So, like I said what I use these for is literally just to get hair out of my face when I do my makeup and then sometimes use these specific clips, when I wan na create those like S waves right here in the front where my face is. [ Andrey ] - And you say they don't crease your hair right, Correct, yes. Wow! These are actually really nice.. I love how long they are. So that way they can grab bigger sections and they hold really well.. I'M gon na quickly do my makeup. I'll be right. Back., I really wan na see what the hair looks like if there's any creasing., Oh look at that. Looks so good.. I really am impressed with these clips, I'm so happy. I got them.. Let'S move on to the next hair accessory.. These next ones are my favorite bobby pins.. I feel like if you like, bobby pins - and you have tried so many, but they haven't worked out for you really well definitely give this brand a try.. This is by the brand Meta Grip.. These are their premium mini bobby pins. And the reason why I like these mini ones, is because they're just good for everything., You wan na style, your hair., You wan na hide those little baby hairs. Those shorter layers. You wan na hide the little hair elastics.. I mean this is just so phenomenal and I love how miniature they are, and they do have multiple different colors to choose from this, in particular, I believe, is the champagne, gold. and they're, so strong, they're, very gentle on the hair., And I just I really appreciate These bobby pins., I just love how tiny they are. And it gets the job done real quick.. The one thing with these: why they're so special? They don't lose their shape.. They don't lose their form their hold unless you really just spread them up apart.. I feel, like the other ones, are so loose After the first wear. With these ones. I can use them over and over and over again, which I really appreciate, and that's why I still love these to this day and I've used them for years and they're. Still. My favorites. And I still have yet to find a better brand than these. And their regular sized bobby pins are phenomenal.. They also have really long ones extra long, which are really awesome as well. But yeah. If you're in the market for new bobby pins give these ones a go., This next most useful hair accessory is an adjustable headband. If you're one of those that loves wearing headbands, but they hurt your ears.. They hurt right here at the top., I'm wondering if this one is going to be great. Cause. I most of the time have that issue with adorable headbands.. So this right here is also by Invisibobble. the adjustable headband. It'S one size fits all most comfortable, headband, traceless, durable and, of course, hair loving.. That'S like their thing.. So on the inside. This is what's different about this headband., But what you do is just to kind of press on the inside on this metal and you adjust it., Let's see. Hmm., It's too short., I'm already noticing that.. So it's not going all the way around my ears.. Maybe that's the purpose of it., So it just like sits right above the ears, you know, But then it's not really holding anything.. I do like the concept of this though.. I'M just gon na do this. And then we're going to. I guess, stiffen the sides right. Here. No see like it's just., It's not doing anything. Yeah.. I feel like that’s why it’s comfortable is because It’s sitting right at the very top And it’s not really holding the hair back it’s just sitting there. [ Andrey ]. Is it going fly off your head? Yeah see [ Laughing ] Versus this one right here, ‘Cuz, it is so stiff… And you can see how low it’s sitting on the back of my ear. That’s, usually where they most headbands sit on me And that’s. Why it gives that headache? Because it does have that pressure point And it’s tight and it’s secure? But this one, you see I’m like shaking It’s, moving a little bit but it’s not coming off my head. Mmmm It’s a great concept, but I feel like it’s Failed because it is so short, Okay. So, overall I am really happy.. I got to share with you guys some of my favorite hair accessories/tools, that I find very useful and I use them all the time or just on a weekly or daily basis., And then some accessories that I wanted to test out.. Just some of them were not great or they're just not as useful, or I would find myself trying to find something else to replace that hair accessory or hair tool, so that I think defeats the purpose.. But please share some of your most useful hair accessories or hair tools, but for now guys thank you for watching spending time with me and I'll see you in the next one very soon., Bye. ( Blows kiss )

陳紅狼: To avoid losing the Invisibobble nano, I tied ribbon on it! Makes it not only trackable but also extra extra cute!!!

C Tran: The towel scrunchie I got if I’m on my way out the door with wet hair which is a lot. It definitely doesn’t work as well as a turban but I find it a lot more comfortable to use and wear tbh! Totally agree with the meta grip bobbies. Bought a pack probably close to? 10 years ago and I have never looked at another Bobby pin since :)

Linda Frizzell: Products that are budget friendly. Most of the ones you use cause me shell shock when i see the price. Heat protectant, hair sprays, oils etc. Thank you. I love your channel!

CoyoteWildFlower: Love the hair spins, if I'm just laying around they will keep my fine slick hair up all by themselves. If I'm going to be bouncy I use an elastic as the base. Anything heavy falls right out. Now going to look up those mini bobby pins. Most the ones I try bend out of shape and poke out of my buns, then work their way out. Thanks for the great review!

Carolyn Newberger: Hair combs are my absolute favorite, especially for anything twisty. I have very thick fine slick hair so it takes a lot of Bobby pins for basic holds, a comb is essentially like 4-6 Bobby pins in one. Recent discovery for drying hair is Turkish towels. I had a microfiber turban I really liked but the Turkish towel dries my hair shockingly fast in a gentle non frizzy way. What normally takes like 30-60 min is closer to 5-10. Also U pins for buns (No going back!) and extra long roller pins (which are wider/longer/sturdier) for thick hair.

M B: I can recommend the Ninabella brush over the Tangle Teezer. The Ninabella is so much more gentle and quicker with detangling. Love it.

Samantha M.: I always find it so interesting how different products work or don't for different people even if their hair texture is very similar. Mine is fairly similar to yours Milana and I have never been able to get the hair turbans to do much for my hair, although when I have tried them it's usually at what I would call my "normal " length, which is a little longer or close to your current length. I tried a pixie last spring and am already growing it out, so maybe it finally would help at current length?? Because I usually am lazy with my hair but usually have it long I've had the DNA screw in bobbies for a long time and I find them good for an intense styling situation like for an event but I feel they pull a lot on my hair and aren't so comfortable... I can't use them for daily wear... i still always go back to scrunchies or regular ponytail holders for my bun... i wrap it around the area where the hair wraps back at the base of the hair once or twice then over the outside of the bun once. Maybe it looks silly, but at least it's out of the way. One thing I was hoping would come back "in" with the 80s and 90s styles was this funky bun tool mom had that literally was like a little spiral design plastic cage that went Over the bun with a giant pin that goes through it all through the other side.... but I never saw one again.... and hers were always too small for my bun, so I hoped someone would design a bigger one. It might be out there and I just haven't happened across it. I'm eager to get this grown out to try the new heatless curls tools though!

Miranda Panda: As someone who is so unskilled at doing their hair a TopsyTail Tool is my best hair secret. Had one since my mum did my hair for school way back when.

Keri Lloyd: Spin pins are amazing. I have long, thick hair that I have to wear up for work. Since discovering spin pins, my headaches have become nonexistent and the tension alopecia at the crown has ceased. They are life savers!

K K: great job!! very informative!! I like how personable you are and how your videos are personal to you while also being very on topics and direct! thanks for the info

Danielle B: The hook to remove small rubber bands I recently discovered for my daughter's hair and to me; it's a good send!!! I was using a seam ripper

Lora Macks: I love mettagrip bobby-pins!! I started buying them after seeing one of your videos. But for some reason the last minis I bought from Sally’s are not as strong.

Alex Lugo: I bet every girl in your channel is thanking you for this! You saved their time on buying useless tools!!! You always do so great friend!!!! ☺️

Misty Tells: Definitely love the Metagrip and Kitsch hair spin pins, per your recommendation. Can't live without either.

nikki G: The hair turbine is the best thing I ever spent money on!! Love it

Heather Berg: The claw clips are the most useful! I have really thick hair and duck bill clips don’t hold it at all. Perfect for blow drying. Also love my Aquis towel!

J. Nguyen: I think ill try the flat invisibobble for buns! I am very prone to tension headaches and migraines so hair ties aren't always a good idea but I bake and cook a lot so hair in my face is not an option!

Heather B: I use the spin pins from invisibobble all the time. I actually use an invisibobble hair tie to pull it into a ponytail then form my bun

Kimberly: Could you do an updated hair product favorites video? You’re hair is gorgeous and I must know your fav shampoos, conditioners, and hair products lol.

melissa bindert: The big Invisibobbles are great because you can hook your Bobby pins to them for buns and updos

cheryl sorrell: Love your videos! Also, it is so cute hearing Emmett in the background ❤

Candis Wells: I've heard you can use like lemon oil or something like that on a qtip and put it on the clear elastic. They will break so easily and so much better than using a tool to cut them

Amy Rodriguez: Milana, you should review the new blow dryer Lange just released! I'm very curious to see if its at all worth the $279 price tag they've put on it. Would love to hear your opinion!

Olduglyentwife: I got a letter opener from the office supply section and I use it to cut elastics out of my hair. Cost $1 and works every time.

Lynette LaRoche: Could you possibly try the beachwaver B1 curling iron? It spins on its own, I’m so curious as to if it works or not❤️

Tasting Party: The scrunchy would be great for your wrists to keep water from rolling to your elbow.

Leanne Adams: Yaaas after mega grip Bobby pins I can’t or won’t use anything else ! Truly the best ones !! ❤️

Sarah T: I want to know EXACTLY her hair care routine with what products. She has beautiful hair and i got so jealous when she did a video and she showed all those hairs growing. I don't see breakage, split ends, nothing.

Cami-Michelle Schulz: I started using Metagrip Bobby pins because of you. They are amazing!!!!

Connor Shiver-Collins: She should try frenchie Bobby pins I have been using them for a while and they are awesome

K K: I love the big invisibobble but I hated the small one. They are so tight and ripped out a lot of my hair

Danielle MacDuff: I use a velcro strip to hold my hair out of my face, I can't remember which side it is but they work awesomely

Yaritsi Diaz: You curls looks fabulous, what tools did you use? Love your channel.

Lesley Lightbody: I’d love to see you use drug store products that are available in the UK. Love to you all x

Leah Shreenan: Love this content thank you for great idea's xx

Debbie Revitt: You were screwing the hair screw in the opposite way to how you twisted it. You need to scew it the same way you twist your hair.

Beauty Is Free: Scuncii brand makes a few varieties of adjustable headbands with gripper around the earpiece- I have a couple different ones. Very affordable and they are NOT moving, lol.

Adeline Mcginley: Got those regular size amazon clips great for keeping hair out of place putting on make up, also got the hairband did not love it

Christina Pattison: Very informative! Also my friends and I played a drinking game with how many times you said quite ❤

Lillian RS: There is not one hair look that doesn't look good on ya! Cool hair gadgets.

Gabby Gaburieru: yea 100% agree the hair turbie is soo much better i had one and honestly loved it! haven't been using one lately cuz i have shorter hair now and it doesn't take long for my hair to get that perfect curl while drying (#NATURALLYCURLYHAIRISAWESOME)

H: ‼️‼️CAREFUL, PLEASE! I would not recommend Hair Halos on Small children as they appear to be a potential choking hazard. They are VERY easy to remove from the hair so a child could easily end up with it in their mouth.

Destinie Howell: Your hair has gotten SO long it’s so pretty!

wldflwr78: Please do this hair tutorial. Your curls look extra bouncy. Did you do anything differently?

Stephanie March: I remember a headband that had curved bottoms to move away from that spot behind your ears that press on your head. I haven't been able to find them in forever and I miss them!

Alyna Waters: Plastic hair elastics that get disposed of so much really seem terrible for the environment.

Sandra Sears: I use a letter opener for removing those tiny elastics from my granddaughters hair.

Brandy Lower: I have super long and super thick hair, the screw in ones(metal) are wonderful

Ginger Girl: Love hearing your son in the background, thank you sharing him.

Ashley Lamborn: I’ve heard you mention the igk good behavior spray... I believe you use the 4 in 1 could you talk more about that?

Carolyn Newberger: I wonder if the short headband is meant more for decorative purposes to finish off a look rather than actually holding hair.

Summer Burns: Could you let us know what hot tool you used for your curls in this video?

Sharon W.: does the aquis hair towel cause any temple / hair line damage?

Beauty By Maria: That nail polish is gorgeous!!!

Leslie Nurton: Your hair is so healthy. Do you have a product list if what you use?

Jan Reding: What tool were you using to dry your hair?

Kitty Goddess: I'm disappointed in the headband ~ :^( Headbands are usually tight on my head and give me headaches. I hope they improve on it.

Hannah Banana: The invisibobble nano are great to ‘pineapple’ your curls for bedtime. I’ve used them like that for years

Diane Elliott: Hi Malibu. I am in my 60’s and my hair is a shorter bob. My hair is all one length and the problem is my bangs. My bangs like to fall forward and get in my eyes. Don’t like it. I have tried to blow them back but they don’t stay. Do you have any advice on how I can achieve this? I don’t want to cut my bangs as it took too long to grow them out. Thanks. PS Em is a cutie.

Jane Doe: You’re adorable and I also get “Headband Headaches”!

Helle Møller: Those clips that don't make a crease . If you have really fine hair like me they still make an indentation though

Jacy Brazil: Can you please link what case and band you have for you Apple Watch?! It looks so cute!

Pamela Garrett: Please review the babylisspro nano titanium prima ionic straightener... $159.99 on amazon... is it worth it???

Diane Harrison: You look younger everyday x❤

Denitza Vladimirova: I really like the golden hair clips, but cannot find them anywhere...

Connie Feltman: That fancy onerous have on!

Mansi S: I've been looking for these gold hair pins you showed at 11:44 for so long, still can't find them anywhere. Please let me know if you have a link

Amanda Gill: Where did you get your head band from I love it Amanda

Vidhi Raghani: Hey..... Love ur videos... Love from India

BrokenShips: You look like Princess Lea at the thumbnail.♥️

13mandragora13: What's the name of the roller you're wearing on 10:07? Do you have a video about it? I've just bought another one and it doesn't hold AT ALL. Tnx

Lidia Kuhn: Haha, you look crazy with those two hair trowels . You are so cute Conair has little Bobbi pins too. (Walmart, target, CVS, Walgreens ) they sell them almost anywhere

Rebekah Guilder: You look great in those two small buns. You shouls wear your hair uo like that!

Anita: Nice sharing..

Adriana K: I want that exact bedazzled headband

tucsoncarol: My cat will steal those nano things. If it looks like a cat toy it definitely will become one.

Tiffany B: Wow your hair in the intro....

Kashvi Jain: U r too beautiful and your videos are too good❤

Aly G: Hi, another way to take out clear elastic is to use a small drop of lemon essential oil.

meloaileen: Do you have a hair care routine? Or holy grail hot tools?

Jennifer Ruffin: Where is your Emorett necklace from?

Jackie Morin: What is that blue circle necklace you’re wearing ?

Kim Mills: ❤️❤️❤️❤️

ENOUGH is ENOUGH: I never had any luck with (the most comfortable head band) is the name, it is the worst head band ever. It doesn't hold its form. Dont waste your money on it.

Britanica: Those gator clips, you used those in your first video! lol

Gaelen de Klerk: Clear elastics. More shit in the ocean

Esha Damodaran: Thank u
