Testing Out Fake Hair! Headband Braid, Bangs, & Messy Bun!

Hey guys, so i just wanted to start out and say thank you guys so much for all the love on my pregnancy announcement. If you missed it, i will link it down below. But, yes, we are due with another baby january 31st, real quick. If there are any videos that you want to see, this is my last baby, so we need to do it if we're going to do it. So for today's video i found some hair pieces off of amazon that we're going to try i've seen them blasted on social media, and i bought some so, let's get into it. Okay, so i actually bought some hair pieces off of amazon they're called madison braids and i've seen different influencers wear these braids. They look completely real. If you hear a vacuum, it's because my husband is right outside my window vacuuming his car but anyways. So i figured i would do a voiceover since my husband was vacuuming, but this is what it looks like when you get on amazon. You can see all the different colors that you have to choose for your hair. There'S a couple different blonde ones. I probably could have went with, but i'm happy with the dirty blonde one so they're 34 dollars and you can clip a 15 off coupon at checkout. So saves you a little bit of money, so they do have different headband braids. That i want to show you guys real, quick um. You can see that here they have like the fishtail. They have a five strand braid a twist braid. I don't know they have a messy bun one one with a ribbon. They even have clip in pieces. They have ponytails, they have more bangs. So again, these are all synthetic, but you do have a lot to choose from. So let me show you what i got for the first piece. First piece is this braided headband, so right off the bat when i first saw it i was like. Oh, i don't know if that's gon na match my hair, so you can see it's not a perfect match, but when i have my hair pulled back like this, it actually looks pretty good. So this does have a little adjustable piece right here, so you can make it tighter or looser it's going to kind of fluff out the braid a little bit so because this is synthetic, it does have a little bit of like a shine to it and i'm Not a big fan of that, so there's a couple different tricks. You can do to kind of remove the shine from synthetic hair for today, i'm just going to take a translucent powder, so this is just laura mercier translucent powder and i'm going to take a makeup brush. I'M gon na take some on my brush just kind of tap it off. That'S quite a bit and just kind of tap it onto the braid, and you might be thinking well. Why don't you just use a dry shampoo? Well, a lot of dry shampoos! Leave that like white residue, because i feel like it'll, be hard to get the white residue out of this since it's fake hair. So i think that looks a little bit better. It'S definitely not, as shiny looks a little more real. So, let's put it in our hair, so you can see in my hair it looks like a real braid. I actually had this in the other day and my husband we're in the car and he goes oh, he goes. I like your braid and he goes wait. A minute he goes is that real and i was like no, it's not real and, as you can see, it looks pretty good. I like it a lot. I think this is a pretty good match and it looks really realistic. You could keep it down um. You could you know, pull your hair to the side, you know fishtail or something, and it just looks really cool. I am very impressed, definitely very comfortable. It does not hurt like the back of my ears or anything okay. The next thing that i bought from the same company is a messy bun hair tie. This looks a little crazy, so my hair is a little bit curled, so it might work better with like this. I don't know, but again this is dirty blonde, so you can see how it looks with my hair um, but let's go ahead and try to use this, so i'm just going to pull my hair back just do like a ponytail. I'M going to take this and just do like a normal ponytail, so i'm just pulling my hair through and then the second time i'm just going to make a loop, so i'm just making a little bun. This is my hair right here hanging out at the bottom. So i'm just going to kind of twist it and then tuck it in so i'm just tucking it into the hairband, i'm just going to kind of fluff out the bun. So this right here that you see up top that's my hair and then this stuff all around is the fake hair. I'M just going to take some bobby pins and just kind of shove them in here. So i'm going to pull some hair out in the front to make it like equally messy hole up here. So this is what it looks like honestly. I don't think it looks like that bad um, it just looks like i have a lot of curly hair and i just threw my hair up into a bun. I would totally rock this. Let me know what you guys think. Honestly. Personally, i love like the messy crazy look. I love curly hair, so the fact that this kind of like mimics a curly haired bun, makes me really happy. So this one is also a thumbs up. I have one more piece to show you guys, and these are bangs. I don't know about this, especially now that my hair is like curly. These are straight and might look a little funny, so they have little clips and i'm just going to put them in screw. It whoa i hate bangs, i hate bangs, i hate just having hair in my eyes, so you can see up top. Obviously that does not look natural. You would need to cover that, so you could cover it by using your braided headband or you could use a scarf so we're going to first use this see what it looks like. Okay, so i don't know - maybe it's just like the style of these bangs like if they were a little longer. They might look a little better here. I'M gon na try to push some back behind this. Does that help? No, it definitely does hide that up top. So maybe i can't tell, does it look a little better? I think it might look a little bit better, but still crazy. I like them not on me. I think i look scary. Bangs are not my thing clearly, but i think this would be fun when i turn certain ways. I'M like. Oh, that's kind of cute. I don't know i'm gon na get my husband's blind reaction, so he just walked in honey. I'M heather whoa. I can dig it: do you like it yeah? Does it look real yeah kind of matches with your hair too? It does. Doesn'T it i've had this forever, it's just like a little ribbon um and i'm going to just kind of tie it underneath and see it at all at the top. So it looks pretty real. Do you like them? Do you like my bangs cupcakes? It definitely looks cute when you throw like a bandana or scarf or something like that um you could even throw your hair up into a messy bun.
