LIVING PROOF Restore Shampoo And Restore Conditioner

AMIKA The Kure Bond Repair Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi everyone, so today i'm going to be trying um living proofs, restore versus amica liqueur, so they're, both kind of um, repairing shampoos. So i'm gon na start with my living proof, one um. It does have like a nice kind of smell. I find to it a little bit of that. Like perfumey, i always like a good like smell with my hair products, because then like every so often you get a whiff of it. So i do like to concentrate at my roots for my shampoo and then i just go in with my knuckles and kind of do a back and forth to make sure i am um like scrubbing my scalp, so i do have like psoriasis on my scalp. So i always have that trouble of like i can't have my hair too oily, because then my scalp just gets kind of like itchy and no good versus um, drawing it out and having hair breakage. So i definitely think the living proof is a little bit. Thicker of a formula, so i don't mind because it comes out because i do find these bottles like a little bit hard when you get to the end of and like not as nice of a smell. So i definitely think living proof kind of smells a little bit better but they're, both kind of like the semi-opaque kind of cream color. I do think my amiga one lathers up a little bit more, so i definitely have hair damage from using heat products. I would say like chlorine from the pool, but it's been so long since i've been in one um but like from heat products and like um, dyeing my hair a little bit over dyeing my hair. So i do like um, i'm not too conscious about like clean shampoos of it, not having kind of um necessarily harmful chemicals in it um. I do like a shampoo that lathers just because i do find my hair a little bit thick. So sometimes it's hard to get into like that back upper corner. So i do like that. Amica is foaming up a little bit more and always make sure when you're scrubbing your scalp you're, not using your fingernails right use like a scrubber or your knuckles. So it's not as like rough on it, so i'm just gon na go wash this off going in with the conditioner, so with the repairing shampoo um. I might not expect it to be thick if it has like oils in it, so it does have castor oil again, it has kind of living proofs um. I almost feel like it's a typical kind of like it's typical fragrance, so i do like to concentrate um. My conditioner at my ends and along my mid length, i'm going to go up a little bit higher because i'll keep my hair parted just to kind of help that and when i have conditioner in my hair. I also like to kind of go through with a preferably you should use a comb or like a detangling brush just to like brush out anything at that point um just because i have very like tangly hair. You do want to be careful because wet hair is fragile, hair and then my repair conditioner. So this one's like a nice and thick, probably using a little much but that's okay, again kind of no real smell, which is like a thicker, and i like that. I just feel like any time of like a watered-down conditioner i feel like if it's not thick, it's watered down, but i know like sometimes it is just like an oil to it like when it has like argan oil um and things like that. So again, just kind of brushing through you want to go gently. So generally, you want to make sure you're keeping your conditioner in your hair for about three to five minutes, i'm gon na. Let it sit a little bit longer and then that's a great time to do like a mask your scrub, like always kind of shampoo fast and then leave any of, like those other things, shaving uh, like washing your body for once i have my conditioner in my Hair um, so that way it gets as most time as much time as possible, so i'm gon na, let it sit and then check back in so coming out of the shower i'm just going to brush through, because i've just kind of had my um hair up With a towel - and i definitely think it's worthwhile, so this is like the aquas towel. I definitely like the hair turbans a little bit better um, but i do find just like those microfiber specific for your hair. Towels does help. So if you find you have like um damaged hair or you want to help your hair health, definitely those are nice for your microfiber, something a little bit softer on your hair like right away kind of using them. I notice the difference and it just helps like you can have it up and it's just going to help kind of collect all that moisture. So, with my restore, i think i got this with my fabfitfun, so i do have their leave-in strengthen um, leaving conditioner, so it is a cream. So i'm just gon na put this so i did about like two pumps. I might do a third just because my hair is really dry and that, like, when you first pump you're, not really getting the true pump out of it. So, like my third pump, seemed as much as my first two combined so leaving that in brushing it uh. The mica they don't really have. They have like a split end serum, but i don't have that um, but i am gon na use one of their moisturizing uh creams, so this is their violet moisturizer. So it's supposed to help with shine but they're, both kind of like almost like a leave-in cream, so using about the same size amount and working it in i'm gon na grab a little more. I think that's about the same, just kind of like a finishing cream. Leave-In for both sides and then i'm just gon na let my hair air dry to see how it turns out so checking in um my hair's not completely dry, honestly, how damaged it is. It just really holds on to that water, but, like my hair in general, just always kind of holds on to water um and that. But if we're looking like not too bad with that frizz um and that so i'm kind of happy with both sides. I don't think i definitely have to do some styling with my hair, because it's doing its own kind of wave-ness ish that it wants, but not cooperative, um and then i do need to kind of die and even up some of my hair. But i need to get it back to like a healthy point, so i definitely think um between the two of them. I think both worked nicely uh. I will say when i was kind of going through with my towel and going on this side. I could hear a little bit more breakage than this side um. I didn't really have anything kind of like snapping where i felt like kind of going on this. I felt some breakage but kind of with your restoring shampoos. Um, your repair ones, those strengthening it will. You won't see like bam, it's better off the bat like um. I think it is nourishing my hair um, like both feel okay, sometimes like i should fix damage. The best thing you can do is kind of snip snip and cut away um, but overall, with your restorative shampoos, you're going to want to kind of use it multiple times. I do think i will probably use the mica one um first, but i do appreciate living proofs um, having like the one two three steps of kind of having a whole little set that can work together is i really enjoy sets and things that work together. So overall, like both did a good job of helping the hair look better, not as frizz not as much like breakage and feeling damaged like it feels better. It looks better so, overall, both products are pretty good um. The living proof, one just kind of has that, like i don't know, it's almost like this citrus kind of perfumey smell where the mica one doesn't really have too much of a smell. More so like the purple cream has more of a smell to it than the actual like shampoos. So if you're, maybe looking for more of a fragrance you're living proof, would be good if you're looking for no fragrance, then your mica one is a good, repairing one. So thanks so much for watching guys. I hope you have a great day bye.
