Natural hair wash day routine for growth and length retention!

The next black woman that tells me oh you're so lucky to have long hair. I could never. My 4C could never we're gon na have a problem, because my hair literally used to be chin length, and that was the longest part of my hair. The front literally went only to my eyebrow everything changed for me, the second. I learned how to take care of my natural hair. I learned how to wash it correctly. I learned how to moisturize it correctly. I learned how to style it correctly. I learned how to trim it correctly and, of course, I also started making my own hair products that

Aye Ciara: This is a trending audio that is VERY good just talking about learning how to care for natural hair. IT IS NOT MY AUDIO. If you click the audio it’ll take you to the creator’s page Brittany rose. Also, I’m not saying I have 4c hair.

Jasmin Bebe: The Miele Rosemary line is incredible. It’s generally what I recommend to my guests at work with natural hair that want some help with growth.

Gloria Jordan: Genetics determines how long your grows. Hair grows on average 1 inch a month. Good hair habits maintains the hair you grow.

Paula Maia: Genetics is important as well

rachelmm05: Yes our hair absolutely grows and retains length even type 4 with tight coils. We mess up our own hair by doing too much(too many wigs, tight styles, tight sew-ins, too much heat, etc) or by neglecting the hair, washing or detangling the wrong way. Keeping our hair is basic styles like braids, cornrows, twists ,etc(without all the added hair and sculpting gels) is the key to length retention.

Lía Wägner: Your hair is so healthy and moisturized

T. Johnson: Genetics plays a huge part. Be sensitive to that as well.

G J: Yes hair care and time is all you need! Take pictures to capture your growth, and only trim if you need to. A solid routine works!

Truthful Rating: Washing my hair and conditioning it has become so therapeutic.

Sin Vee: I looooooooooove that stuff!!! My hair is getting so thick using that plus the conditioner and oil.. life saver.

A D: It's all about the work. If u put in the work ur hair will grow. It's made to grow to be long to be strong u just have to do the work!

Marlaina Cerdas: Not gonna lie you put me on to the mielle line and I had corn rows in for three weeks my hair GREW CHILE!

Carmencita Davis: Have any of you in the comment section looked at the YouTubers video Tamera's hair Care YouTube Channel she did a three-part video crying about what the Mielle organic hair products did to her and how those products ruined and damaged her long beautiful hair, but some people in her comment section said it could be protein overload maybe her hair couldn't take it, so if any of you all have a problem with hair products that have too much protein in you may want to take a look at her video before you buy this hair product because maybe it will and maybe it won't affect your hair and damage your hair the way it did hers, but you do want to be cautious and careful so do some research before you buy this product

Ashira Harmer: This stuff is good to use. I promise!

Nhlamulo Donatella: Been natural for 8+ years, & I'm still fine tuning my routine!

Jennie Smythe: I mean it should still be noted that it is tougher to retain length with 4c hair. As it’s more prone to breakage and dryness.

Tru Artist: *NATURAL HAIR WOMEN* If YOU feel you can’t or don’t know how to do your hair, avoid manipulation. Don’t use shampoo, AT ALL! Do conditioner when you wash. Keep it oiled and wrapped in a turban or head wrap. It’ll grow! Trust me

Giveli: Teach us how to moisturize correctly.

Zeee Changed: People pay for hair that looks like this it is beautiful

La'Daya Merideth: Love it!

Zolleka Smith: Great video. Your hair is beautiful and healthy and gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. Great tips

Lenore Oak: I will try Mielle - we have the same hairtype❤

Denise Moore: This misconception that Afro hair doesn’t grow is a lie! It does, it’s just it doesn’t like all that we do to it. All the trends out there are not for everyone. Especially those that don’t want to follow with proper care!

Lilian Olayemi: love your hair so thick and pretty!

TheCarnivoreSoprano: Brittany is awesome. I like that she has this conversation. I like that you were willing to share as well. And my 4c literally don't. And it didn't matter what I did.

Debra Phelps: I got this I hope it works

T Love: It irritates me when someone says... You have good hair. ALL hair is good hair!

࿐ꨄSwnsasyꨄ࿐: What does pre wash do? Is it important? My hair is so, so dry...

bethany vaughn: So this line was sold to a “not blk owned” company. I really believe that they changed the formula, even though they said they wouldn’t/ didn’t.

Marquita: Your hair is beautiful

Kim Neat: Thank you .

L 6: Also check out rice water recipe for hair and skin! It’s amazing. Look up YouTube vids.

Tice Richards: How do you use the strengthening oil?

HexRuin: You have really gorgeous hair for real though

Shannon Armstrong: Love watching your videos

TheHealingMixologist: This is not 4C hair but loving the video!

Aye Ciara: products linked here: https://www.amazon.com/shop/ayeciara

Diamond Monique’: Lol I'm slow, I'm thinking this was Brittany for real lol. Beautiful hair though

bbbwatching: Genetics and diet Beautiful Goddess

Khaiah Mann: I meet to get back in a routine since I’m growing my hair out. I’ve been rocking short hair for a year.

Mekdes Abate: Your hair looks so healthy!!!! Where did you get the hair brush?

uhlani brock: The way you said chin length

Phoenix Rose: PLEASE READ‼️‼️‼️ My mom has 2b hair so she didn't do much to it growing up. Her dad passed when she was 11 and the black side of the family stopped coming around. Her mother being white with pin straight hair didn't know how to take care of black hair. This resulted in lots of perms and now her hair is past the point of return in thickness, also doesn't grow past her shoulders. My sister (14) has 4c hair and I've been trying for years to get her interested in taking care of it since my mom never did anything past oil or moisturizer and puffs as a kid. She HATES detangling which is the biggest reason she won't do anything to her hair. We've tried undercuts (at my sister's suggestion) so there was less to manage, my moms friend used to do it for free in braids till she moved, and so they tried locks to be more low maintenance (My sister hated them tho and it took me a week to get them out fully.) Now she just keeps it short but still with no product so it's always so dry. She's finally giving small interest in doing something to it. I'm so determined to make a hair routine with good products for her hair so any info I can get will help.

5 STAR DIVA DE: How about be grateful and just say thank you and show people how you got ur hair like that before the next #blackwomen never compliments you ever again

MzVan21: You know what important she stated she learned HOW to take care of it...black hair does grow and can be healthy and long...I'm definitely a witness granted I'm in my 30s now and I'm a fan of short natural hair now just easier and my presence now days but I literally cut my hair every may ( last 6 years) and grow it out during the fall and winter months and I just keep my scalp clean and balance between moisture and protein and my hair grows like crazy you wouldn't even know I wear my hair short all summer.

Luna LayLay : Where can I order all of it!!

Holla At The KI D: In researching hair growth I found: The only way you can blame genetics is if day in and day out for years you have been doing everything you possibly can to retain length, and yet it is still stagnant at a specific hair length. The result is due to your hairs life cycle, the anagen phase, the catagen phase, and the telogen phase. The anagen phase is the stage in which the hair is growing from the scalp, the catagen phase is the resting phase. And the telogen phase is the phase in which your hair falls out and starts again at the anagen phase. With that said, WE ALL KNOW: majority of the folks with short hair is absolutely not taking care of it properly and it could ABSOLUTELY be longer if done so. If they are not sick in some way the length of hair they desire may be more attainable than they think. Its all about who is willing to LEARN and actually execute consistent good habits and growth strategies. So we cannot dismiss our hair being short being genetic when many of us have black and white photos of a great great grandma’s somewhere with piles of hair on top of her head or sitting on their hair . Only since hot tools , chemicals, fear and believing the lies that our hair is bad has our hair been so short. Until proven otherwise, every last one of us should be attempting to have what we want. I’m actually fighting for YOU ALL to change your mindsets, because I lost all my hair due to illness in 2016 and it never grew back. I’m balder than Jada at the Oscars. But yall not me. So QUIT COMPLAINING AND GET TO GROWING!!!

Wanda Corley: Mielle is the next products I'm trying on my scalp after I get three inches off my hair.

Sadie Toledo: I have the same brush but I’m pink where did you get it

Alganesh Bahre: My problem is how to style it correctly

Aniexo: Omg that dinner time

D Mack: Miele products are not the same since she sold the company

Humble Pharaoh: As a guy who been growing my hair 1.5yrs I’ve learned so much. Women have such unhealthy hair habits. I thought all women knew hair lol but I’m putting my aunts and cousins on stuff I learned on YT. Like steaming my braids to add moisture underneath so I don’t mess them up. I def have 4b/4C hair any they swear I don’t. Smh. It’s crazy. Took me bout 8 months to learn my hair, what it likes, and what oils my scalp likes.

Youdont Needtoknow: I saw a lady on shorts with her hair up to her waist! And she was black! I KNOW others can grow their hair but some dont have the time and patience to do all that

Summers Lotus: That part. MAKE YOUR own products

Ladybug: I just watched Tamaras hair care channel she used those Miele products and her hair got messed up not sure if it's the same one but it's the same line .a lot of people in the comments were saying it was a protein overload.

roblox pro valeria: Btw i wish i had Curly hair but i have Wavy hair

Cee Dee: It’s curly too

Nursee: You sound like Lisa Lopes (from TLC)

TDardensmile: Not with that product that stuff is not good it broke my hair off so bad and I never have a problem with hair products before never again will I ever put that on my hair

Poe Story: I love you

the truth:

miu: Yess

Naima Christian: I like your hir

steph j.: ❤️❤️❤️

The Creative Mess K: Also genetic
