That'S just that's: hair abuse! That'S hair abuse, unacceptable! Honestly, it's me off what up Beauty gang, as you can tell by the title, your girl is back with another reaction to tick, tock videos, natural hair. In particular. You guys love when I do these videos. I personally enjoy doing these videos and honestly, it's the only time, I'm usually on Tick. Tock, I'm not even gon na lie to yourself got ta start my screen record. I think let's go ahead and put it right here. Oh it log me out: oh that's how you feel, I'm good green record and three two one boom natural hair. No, usually I do Type 4 hair right type for hair. Let'S see the music already started all right. Let'S try, sis make sure the volume is up. Foreign whatever but um, who said I said, and I'm speaking just from personal experience. I don't know if it is because I decide to keep my hair dirty, but y'all know y'all, see it on my channel, the dookie braid two month, one and a half month, whatever the long-term dookie Brave routines that I post, I don't be doing nothing to my Hair and it grows my hair like crack - I don't know the proper political, correct way of saying it, but it does what it needs to do bottom line. So I mean, I guess, Different Strokes for different folks. It works for her, but me personally, whenever I just leave my hair alone, but like continue to oil it over a long period of time. My hair grows like crazy. So, okay, okay, oh let's see this one! I was barely surviving this week. I was barely surviving. This week, so I kind of let myself go. I broke a combo trying to fix my hair, but it's not the first time it's happening. This hair was my day bro I was exhausted. So afterwards I went through this and Jack is the dangling therapy. I started with this comb, but I couldn't do anything at this point, so I went in with this octopus, the dangling brush. Sorry, I had support Mission because my hair was matted, so I went in with this white to that comp. I had to go back to finger detangling I made a Twist after detangling, but I mean the size sieve, so I took it down and braided the hair. I repeated the process and the only reason I added that clip is because I'm obsessed with my side profile later when I stopped using water. I just went straight in with and Jackie's and I think it made the process easier. I was so proud of me for finishing up by the way. This is how much hair I lost all right. A few things one. I really want to point out her hair type. She 100 has Type 4 hair. This, in particular from my perspective, is 4C hair. A lot of people tend to confuse my hair with 4C hair. When I say I represent Type 4 hair. The thing is all hair types have about a three tier Spectrum, there's four, a four b4c. This is an example of 4C I again and before a four B I was thinking about by the way doing like a natural hair Series update. Let me know comment below if you guys want that. But years ago I did like a thorough series explaining hair types. Porosity pattern, basically anything you can think of to really educate people on hey hair, just black natural hair. So this is a really good example of 4C hair, but I was going to say this definitely is in need of a trim. You could tell by like the little um, let's see, can I zoom I mean? Can I fast forward this part this part right here? You can kind of see all the little like pieces of hair. That means her ends. It'S long overdue for a trim. Okay, I know this because I've been there, that's where a lot of breakage, not some stuff, come from when you don't trim your hair consistently so yeah, that's just something to be mindful of too, whenever you're going through a detangle process. If you end up with that many kind of like individual pieces like that and they're tiny, your ends are like crying for me yeah anyway. Let'S see, what's this got going on here, volume one I actually let me go ahead and my favorite Okay add its favorite yeah. I'M gon na go ahead and do a video like that when I got my natural hair back out nice little like Beyonce blow dry moment, yeah need that in my life, simple winter, natural hairstyles. Thank you so much! Oh. I definitely want to try this I've seen a lot of people. Do it I've yet to try it myself, she's doing something a little different that was cute. This is cute that most deaf I didn't know my hair could do this. What can it do? Sis baby girl that we got ta see that again, yeah. Don'T you stop there with me yeah yeah, that's some healthy hair right. There did you see the way, the coils and then the the shrinkage, that is some healthy natural hair and she has color on her hair, so she's definitely taking care of it really really well, that is so beautiful all right, let's get into this before you come From me, just now, I'm actually cluster for a week I sleep with the bonnets on, but I fling it off in the middle of the night to sleep properly. But can we actually talk about shrinkage still like? How does this type of hair become this, and for those of you that don't know Taco is what African elephants called hair that look like mine? I think the reason I don't think does anybody know in particular what Taco means, if you know the exact definition or you know whatever. Please comment below, because I'm new to this, I'm not true today comments to her, just because I've literally had everything. So I just allow people to say whatever they want to make themselves feel better. I like it on now. Let'S just talk to her talk, I'm guessing. It means something pretty negative from what she's saying saying that she just lets. People do whatever makes them feel best like they can sleep at night. I guess insulting her and that that's the problem that I do feel like happens, especially for Type 4 Naturals, the discrimination and the stereotypes and just the rude commentary that comes with having kinky curly hair when it's the most beautiful coily, curly, oftentimes, healthiest strongest, most resilient Hair type, it just baffles me, Society kind of almost teaches and trains us to hate our hair or discriminate against our own hair and our own kind, and it's just it's so backwards, and it's so twisting it's so messed up. But I love people like this moral of the story. Don'T let anybody try to come for you tell you about your hair yourself, like radio silence, When anybody has any bit of negativity to say about you and your hair radio silence go through one ear out. The other matter of fact, don't even let it go through the ear, and so, if you do, let it go through the ear, don't hesitate on biting your tongue and educating people about the knowledge they lack. Okay on Type 4 hair period. I digress all right. Let'S keep it pushing as a natural 4C girl. I'M grateful for kinky texture extensions. Oh me too, me too, since, even though this is not texture, but you get what I mean that came out too, I low-key, I should have, did it during the colder months. It'S still technically cold, but I know it's about to warm up rocking that in like the fall and winter yeah fall winter 2023 catch me outside with the textured extensions. Okay, what's Happening Here, oh my God, bro, my spiritual animal. This could not resonate deeper inside of me than what it is because I swear. I want my natural hair right above my booty. That is my goal for my like natural hair straight right, not curly, but then I also like my hair is way shorter than above the booty and I'm in the shower for a long period of time. However, yeah I got some content coming your way. I low-key just created, like this natural hair, protective style, wig season secret concoction that I really think will change a lot of people's lives. I'M testing it out right now. I got it going on under my wig right now. I'M gon na test it out thoroughly and if it turns out the way, I think and the way I plan Beauty game, it's a wrap for us. Okay, it's a wrap anyway, um, yes, sis! I I feel your pain, okay, okay, okay, let's see to find the tightest curl while conditioning my hair shrink it. Oh, it was never way longer than I even thought, and this again this is Type 4 hair. I would need to see all of her hair to know if it's 4C 4a4b, but either way it's Type 4, hair 100, because of how it's kinked and coiled - and it's absolutely gorgeous - do y'all see that is absolute perfection, God's hands. You can tell created that beautiful I've never really given it a full try. I just have beef with it on site, but I love watching the videos flexi rods, yeah yeah, because that was cute shrinkage. Our hair is so beautiful. It came out so beautiful and it looks so healthy. Oh I wish this could come. Do my hair. I just need somebody to try flexi rods on me. To be honest, I'm sure my hair will come out absolutely gorgeous, but me trying to do it myself. I don't think I have it in me. I really don't hairstyles for 4A hair, but I'm assuming they meant to say hairstyles for Type 4 hair, because I'm not saying why it would just be for 4A hair. Remember: there's tears to the curl patterns in type four. I'M surprised they didn't just say hairstyles for natural hair. Honestly, any hair type could do this, but I digress. V Parts. Look back, T justice, oh that's cute, some edges, they say. Thank you. I see you sis, no, that was super cute. Actually, I'm gon na favorite that too, because whenever I do my slick buns right, it's always a part down the middle or a deep side. Part I've never done a V part, and we might have to see what that looks like on your girl. I like that, knowing your hair type, let's Swatch this - and this is what this is, what 4C there's multiple hair types exactly exactly here are three things I would not do as someone would type for hair number one detangling, my hair, when drawing you should always detangle Your hair, when wet, I recommend using tools or using a white white using heat on my hair, with whatever you do that unless you want your curl to go from type four yeah. One eight yep hear me three waiting two weeks or even a month before washing my hair. My hair is actually more fragile and prone to breakage than any other hair type. That being said, I would not recommend waiting more than 10 days. That'S for me personally to wash my hair type 4 hair needs to be properly moisturized and hydrated in order to dry. Follow me for more natural hair content, bye first of all, she's super beautiful uh and I'm loving the purple eyeshadow. I definitely agree with the honestly. I agree with all three: let me say this: if she's referring to like your natural hair being out in a wash and go and a twist out just out, then I do agree that you should not let your hair linger more than 10 days. As I stated earlier in the video, though, when it comes to like wake season, I have my hair in braids and a protective style under my wigs. I will rock that for about two months Max, but my hair doesn't get tangled and stuff because it's in braids it stays in place. So she is right when it comes to leaving your hair out. She might be right overall, okay, but y'all y'all see what I do on my channel and how handle my hair and my hair is flourished. To be honest, so The Strokes were different folks. They were chosen different books, uh, don't dread. If you have good hair, I'm a Capricorn, so I'm big-hearted. So if I feel like somebody, I get so sick of black people with this, I'm a Capricorn, so I'm big-hearted. So if I feel like it, it looks really nice though, but yeah we got ta get out of the good hair. All hair is good hair. If it's growing out your head, it's a good hair POV. You never have to cut bangs like how pretty looking forward yeah ultimate hacked doing my natural hair without extensions. I am feeling good tonight because she live it was Romeo. Did you know yeah? This came out super cute super super cute now that the uh, the song underneath interesting, very interesting, but her hairstyle came out fire really close-up of my mid back length, 4C hair. Let'S see y'all tell me why I thought it said a realistic wash day. I read it out loud, but didn't even really that's a realistic close-up of my mid back length. 4C hair. She said this is 4C hair y'all want to tell her, or should I I'm gon na, let y'all tell her you said: try and dry bar for the first time as someone with big type four hits. Last week I went to dry bar for the first time and here's my honest review as a girl who has very thick and dense Type 4 hair. The shampoo was fine, they weren't really scrubbing in my scalp like I wanted them to, but then they did like a color treatment mask type of thing, which was good. I feel like it gave me some shine now on to the blow drying process. I'M used to a blow drying process that I literally have to hold my neck still, while she's blow drying, because I know my hair is a lot to deal with. Okay and it's a workout for me and a stylist but like I was feeling no tension which is not gon na lie made me really skeptical and I wasn't feeling like the heat from the blow dryer either, which I was like. What the blow drying process wasn't getting as Sleek as I wanted it to, but we're moving on still staying optimistic for the straightening process. Again, the straightener was not that hot, which had me concerned because my hair takes a lot of heat. She was also curling. My hair, at the same time and pin curling my hair and one she was not getting my ends. You can see it in this video like she's, not getting the end of my hair in the straightener, oh yeah. I was very concerned on how puffy my hair was going to turn out. I'M not going to take this down right now, because I know my hair will puff up at the second. I take it down, but she didn't even know how to pin curl correctly and so I'm nervous to see the final product I'm back home. Let'S see what this hair is looking like, I'm nervous, I don't know if you can see my ends in my hair, but like I was noticing that she was missing straightening the ends of my hair because she was curling it and she wasn't going fully to the Ends with the straightener okay, my scalp is so freaking dry already. How do I fix this? I know my ends need a trim, but this is not my anzenia trim like it just did not get past in the straightener and that's all my ends like it's gon na be frizzy like you can see. The ends are just like busted. It still looks really cute, but I don't know if it will last it is really cute. I'M sorry. I'Ve had to pause because I'm digesting it it did turn out cute, but it was definitely something she could have did at home for herself, probably if not better - and this is why I'd be scared to go to salons to let people touch my natural hair, like I just that was a lot of heat, a lot of heat for it not to even be like press press like you know like flat flat, and I was wondering, did she even use heat protecting spray or anything? I was really concerned about this curl pattern. Coming back because that was a lot of heat and like she said she was like flat ironing but then went back up to curl and then it's just that's just that's hair abuse! That'S hair, abuse, unacceptable! Honestly, piss me off all right. We'Re only gon na. Do a few more so I can get this video out to you guys it's okay, because at the end of the day, what will you do? Okay, it's fine, don't cut it. You'Ll be a bad beat after you look cool. Your head shape is not as bad as you think it is look. Everyone keeps asking me wait this time. Okay, I'm digesting a lot okay, so she bleached her hair right. I also got kind of knocked off a little bit because the voiceover is like teaching like a lot of my beauty game. Now I don't do the b word like even in a girlfriend, since don't call me that that's not what my mom named me, but overlooking that part right, I do think that she does have some validity there of. I think a lot of us, Naturals myself included, be scared to dye our hair and experiment with our hair out of fear that will damage it. And ultimately, yes, when you color your hair, it is a form of damaging in a bit. But there are a lot of people that have been able to maintain colored hair in their hair Health. Now, when I first started my journey, I actually did have color in my hair. I colored my hair multiple times during the college journey of this channel. So if you want to see that go all the way back, but I did notice that my hair was so much more healthy and full and grew like crazy when all the dye grew out, because now my ends, I mean ultimately dyeing your hair bleaching, your hair And stuff makes your ends and your hair just drier way faster. So it's harder to retain length. It is possible, but it's kind of like you got ta, weigh your pros and cons. Really, you really do I'm just trying to figure out how sis ended up in Type 4, hair side, hair type, specifically hair, porosity density and texture porosity is your hair's ability to hold and absorb moisture so I'm spraying some water on dry hair and you can see How immediately the water is just beating on top of my hair, it doesn't get absorbed right away. This means I have low porosity. The water got absorbed quickly. That would be high porosity up next is density. This way is definitely the hard way, but you know maybe that's your style, so this is the ponytail test measures, the circumference of your ponytail. I needed help with this way easier as a scalp test. Can you see your scalp easily that's low density? If you have to move it around a little medium density, if you really can't see your scalp high density last up is texture. I am grabbing a strand of hair, I'm just rolling it between my fingers to just feel it. This is a little hard, but if you can really feel your strand, that's thicker, but if you really can't it feels like nothing, that's eye texture. Why is she in Type 4 hair community? I'M not understanding what she's doing in that world of Tick Tock, but hopefully she helped someone that looks like her yeah yeah all right. Let'S do this one. This is our last one. We got ta end on a better note than that three reasons why your hair isn't growing honey. You don't exfoliate your scalp to unclog it from product, build up. You don't nourish your scalp oils to keep it hydrated and healthy, and you don't massage your scalp afterwards to stimulate that hair growth. Okay, I'm sorry y'all! Maybe we shouldn't have ended on that, mainly because I, the thing that I think I find frustrating most is that people don't account for genetics when it comes to somebody's hair, growth retention, Etc. Also Type 4 hair, in my opinion, is the hardest hair to get to retain length. It takes a lot of extra TLC to do that in comparison to someone with the previous girl's hair type. She has like type 3 hair for sure, if not a little bit of type 2.. I can't give like a absolutely no or absolutely yes on it. If any of you guys have tried exfoliating your scalp with the scrub before, though, and you got Type 4 hair. Please comment below and let us us know what your experience was other than that, though you know you guys. Ultimately, this is just kind of a little cute fun thing to do, but don't take anything you see, hear, observe watch too seriously, because at the end of the day, all of us are different, uniquely different and therefore our hair is a part of that difference in Each other, so you can take little tidbits here and there from what different people say and stuff, but I hope that you just don't feel like anybody you come across is law not even me right. Some things that might work for me might not work for you and vice versa, so it's just important to really learn your hair, establish a regimen and stick to it, ten toes down anyway. That is all I have for you guys really hope you guys enjoyed this video. If you did, you already know what to do. Give this video a thumbs up hashtag, we want more. If you want me to keep these reactions coming and also don't hesitate to to, let me know what else you want me to react to in the natural hair community right. I just did type four today. Sometimes I do hairstyles at one point I do wigs. That was an interesting little tidbit, so yeah comment below you guys other than that love, y'all Lots, and until next time I always mess that up. I haven't done it in a while until next time guys yeah. I got together anyway, peace.

Badd Apple: No, ma'am. They are using the right hashtag. Because they know that a lot of us with real type 4 hair truly desire type 3 or straight hair altogether. A lot of type 4 women will watch their biracial "hair crush" before watching women who look like them. Honestly, it's sad that we fall for such disingenuous marketing tactics. I have been guilty of that in the past as well. Until I decided to restrict my content consumption from women who don't look like me.

theohsospontaneous: Takoko is Yoruba and loosely translates to anything that is not smooth / difficult to handle/detangle , in the context of natural hair. A lot of hairstylists tend to say that when they find your hairstyle difficult to work with, hard to comb through, knotty and yes it is often said insultingly or with lots of shade because they expect everyone to hate kinks and embrace a relaxer or any straighter option your hair can be manipulated to.

AA: Idk if it’s dirty hair that grows or just untouched hair grows

Yochana Irie: Love this video! Coming from a hairstylist who has a lot of experience with natural hair… it’s not that your hair is dirty, but that it’s low maintenance. You are not manipulating it too much so it allows your ends to rest and not be over manipulated. Basically, you are the queen of length retention!

Cece Love: dirty hair does not grow, your hair grows because of low manipulation <3 the dirt itself does nothing lol

Kelcy Jenkins: I think it's genetics and not manipulating the hair. Towards the end of her life, my grandmother kept her hair in braids (extension-free). It was easier to manage. Her hair grew to her waist. I've been doing braid-outs where my hair stays mostly in braids and my hair has grown significantly. And I've stopped using heat. Once or twice a year only.

Tyhesia Simpson: I have long (almost to my waist) type 4a/b hair. Honestly what’s helped my hair grow is leaving it alone. I don’t wear wings or anything but I leave it in protective styles for weeks while adding moisture regularly until I’m ready for another long wash day

Kate O.: I have type 4 hair and I have started using a scalp scrub within the last couple of years (specifically the one from Not Your Mother's) and I love it! I not only noticed a difference in my scalp, but I noticed a difference in the overall health

LindO LimbO: I definitely agree with you doing an updated natural hair education video!!! That video started me on my journey like 4 years ago❤

Seraaa Peraaa: I’ve used exfoliater on my hair and have 4a/b hair, it definitely helps shed away the dead hair and makes my scalp feel fresh (has peppermint). I like using it because I leave my hair untouched in braids for 5 weeks max, I work out and sweat, and only wash my hair 1x a month(I don’t wear my natural hair), so I use it to really cleanse and follow up with a regular shampoo. I like it.

Amy-Lee Angel: My dad had type 4 hair and he had one of the nicest afros. His hair was so healthy and long too. He loved his hair. Unfortunately, he started to get a bald spot on the back of his head and refused to be seen without a baseball cap. The only time he took it off was when he went to sleep. Curly/kinky hair is beautiful and whoever says otherwise is ignorant.

asia nae: Thank you for being your authentic self, we love you Isi!

A. S.: Personally, my hair has been growing so fast since my big chop and the biggest change to my routine has been washing my hair weekly (even when it's in PROTECTIVE STYLES). It has completely changed my hair! My detangling is a breeze, my scalp no longer itches and flakes. My hair is just overall softer and easier to manage than when I was going 3+ weeks without washing it. I work out more because I'm not afraid of sweating, not to mention, I don't have to load it up with products to hide the smell of a dirty, oily scalp.

Taeblu: Lovin' this series so far. And yes, would love to see an updated natural hair series. I usually watch your content, while working out. You're a great motivator and breath of fresh air. ☺️ Congratulations to you and your husband on being newlyweds, as well. May y'all have many years of marital bliss and love. God bless. ☁️☁️

Rabielle Parfait: I would say it’s the low manipulation that grows hair. If it’s untouched, it will grow for sure, question is only if the hair is strong enough to keep the length or if it’s breaking the same rate it’s growing after protective styling takedown & you want to enjoy it out more

Melaninated Beauty: I have type 4 hair (4a/4b) and I’ve used scalp scrubs. I’m also a cosmetologist and work for Sephora. My honest opinion on scalp scrubs is some will work better than others, the tighter the curl the finer the scrub should be in order for the scrub to actually reach your scalp I’ve notice even with my hair type it’s hard for certain scrubs with large grinds to properly reach my scalp

JazyJ: So I have type 4 hair and I love using the sugar scrub by Taraji P Henson. Her line is in target. I will say, I really only use the scrub once every 2 - 3 months or if I notice I have some horrible dandruff. It takes care of it right away, smells amazing, and my scalp is so clean afterwards.

Tylar Grant: We FOR SURE want a natural hair update!

amber patterson: “Y’all wanna tell her or should I” isi got me dying lol

Comfort Oyeyemi: Heyy, Takoko is like knotting in Yoruba so they’re basically saying she has knotted hair

Shades of Sage: I’m so glad I got locs, but I still enjoy these videos ! Literally can’t wait until you reach 1 million subscribers ! You keep me motivated to continue with my channel ❤️! Thanks for sharing!

Terry Buckley: Great video Isi -- definitely here for more hair content videos!! That last woman definitely is nowhere near type 4 hair!! Crazy how some of them manage to be part of that category!! Be Blessed y'all!!

Myrna Jean Michel: I’m here for the back to back content boo!!!!! I love you and will keep loving your videos!!! ❤️❤️

Blac Diamond_TV: Loved This Sis!!!… Idk how them other girls snuck in that didn’t have type 4 natural Hair but love the content & Thank you for always celebrating our Hair cuz I love My kinky coils too!!! Ok Period

Shanchan: I usually just watch type 4 videos. I have a bunch of hair types on my head so just one type of video won't get it. I got 3a at my kitchen, 4a &b at my front and sides and 4c in the middle. It took a long time to learn a regimen that works!(No I'm not mixed race)

Snugg&Ju: I use “HUE” Apple cider vinegar scalp scrub and love it. It definitely has my hair thriving. I use it every other wash day. Btw: Great video

Kate O.: I would definitely do a flexi rods set on my clients, but not on myself I would get tired after the 1st one

Kate O.: I think reacting to PROFESSIONAL Natural Hair Stylists would be a good one

She is Jadaa: I struggle with keeping heat out of my hair because I’ve been doing it so long. I haven’t found products that work good on my hair when it’s natural. I have low porosity hair.

Kate O.: For the second to last video, everything she said is correct and it can apply to any hair type

Denise Oates: I part my hair in the v pattern because I have a widow peak and my hair line goes further back on the sides and I can kind of cover it up with v part. I used to love when the beautician would scrub my scalp and I probably need exfoliation because I don't wash my hair that often. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.

Mapule Xayimpi: With "Jelexia", I've been following her for a couple of years and seen her hair grow, her hair is 4c from what I seen with her hair in different states (wet, dry, etc). Anyone else who keeps up with her can correct me if I'm wrong

TY SHABI: Takoko is a Yoruba term, it refers to hair that knots together and gets tangled easily

Asia Lindsay: Natural Hair series would be awesomeeeee Isi✨

Releasing Trauma & Drama: yes my daughter hair was dirty and untouch for almost 3mths now and im just now taking her braids out & it grew like a wildfire

Chloe Johnson: Ok Isi come on with the hair secrets sis, can't wait lol!

Layshia: I agree with a lot of what the girl said in the purple, that was giving tips, but contrary to popular belief you don't have to detangle on wet hair. It may be easier, but tht doesn't mean it's actually healthier for your hair shaft. Eitherway, however you prefer to detangle, just make sure y'all do it regularly. Don't come for me, just want y'all to know the facts ❤

Franchesca Anthony: Takoko is a word in a local dialect(Yoruba language)which means knotted, and kinky

♡CHRISTINE♡: Yes please to the natural hair series

Aarian Jay: Ahhh that’s me! This video still gets me everytime I watch it 5:36

LouizWrld: Your hair and this outfit is such a stunning look omg

Leticia Johnson: Natural hair series update would be great. You would be surprised of how many people that watch and are new to their journey.

Kellie’s Nursing Home Chronicles: Yes please do the natural hair series

tc2013: The type 3 girl was there because she’s talking about hair type outside of the number system. Most likely she tagged all hair types because it’s something everyone can learn from

Leticia Johnson: Hair discrimination especially within our own would be a good video topic

Sheneka Moore: I definitely believe that not touching hair aids in growth and length retention

Tay9sdaughter: That's why I love love love Keke from Depper Than Hair TV. She was my hairstyle when she lived in Philly. She still owns her hair salon called Deper Than Hair in West Philly. The hair styles there are great with natural hair. I have Never seen any of the customers get their hair relaxed.

Yahminah Ain: I don't use scalp scrubs. Just another extra step. Sometimes I let diluted Apple vinegar sit in my hair for a few minutes before washing. But most times to get rid of buildup, I wash my hair 2 or 3x with shampoo and use the scalp scrubber tool and then do my conditioner. Then detangle. Then put in my deep conditioner.

Luamerava: I have trouble with my hair period. I have psoriasis so it's just always complicated with my scalp issues plus the dry scalp. I wanna go for long period of time without washing my hair so I can do other styles, but I have to wash it 1-2 times a week just to keep the flakes and dry scalp at bay. I've even tested it and if I go to long or if certain products hit my scalp, I gotta wash or I'll start scratching away. More oils makes it worse because it's over production, but I can not go without putting anything on my hair after the 3rd day since I do have type 4a/b hair. Sometimes I don't put anything on it just to let it breathe from all the product use to I do use gels and leaves in all the time. I just wanna be able to rock sew ins again without it snowing. Scalp exfoliants are hit or miss since sometimes they just dry me out even more. I haven't found a product I love enough to continue for years like most people do. I have no holy grails. I basically just try to keep the flare ups at bay.

Elisia's Evolution: I don't do tiktok, I could never grow my loose natural, long but I have locs now and my hair is thriving!! we need to uplift each other up, type 4 gang!

Afi Sanaa: It is not about the hair being dirty, but low to no manipulation by not washing it frequently.

Kimmy World: I love this video and the freaking transparency

Maurissa A. Cummings: I wash mine like once a month lol I just twist it or braid and leave but I oil it and wet it …but leaving my hair alone is best for me

Lawrence: Have you made an updated room tour? If not, I’m excited to see it!!!

Atira Kennedy: I would like to see one of these about braids since it’s starting to get warmer outside.

miniminott48: Isi, I enjoyed this video as expected!!! #wewantmore.

Lana Lane: Chile I used to be able to go atleast 3 weeks or longer without washing my hair. Now I can barely make it a week. Idk if it's stress or what but my scalp has been out of control and my seborrheic dermatitis has 0 chill!! I love me some flexibility rods but I need someone to do it for me cuz when I've done it myself I didn't like the roots

Llorzz: i could def see you rocking the natural hair extensions!

Slymm Jymm: the look you gave the camera when the yt girl was talking about how to check the density had me weak lmao

L Money: Please do the natural hair series update Isi!!!

Ty Lashea: The pink is everything

AA: I want to see the whole look!

Keimanii 23: @Isi thank you for the part about theB" word. I'm the same. I don't see it as a term of endearment, and people find that strange. But.... I said what I said... it ain't cute! Love the wig btw

Danae Madama: yes pleaseeee for natural hair series, i have 4c hair and i don't know how to handle it lol

Vazhii Singleton: Natural hair series update us PLEASE Isi

Kiki Aleaki: Honestly, not her fault. It’s shown that the reason she was there was because she mentioned figuring out ones “hair type.” Not sure if there’s a way to search for the exact wording you’ve typed (like adding “” in google) but it’s more of an algorithm issue.

Cactus Flower: Triple Bottom line is that a lot of black women need to embrace their natural hair more, stop comparing their hair to someone else, and learn to learn their hair and focus on health of the scalp and hair. Back to basics: wash, condition, grease the scalp, oil moisturizer lotion and water on the hair strands and braid that bad boy up and go on with life. It’s never been complicated until this day in time. Back to basics is what keeps hair healthy and strong noticed I didn’t say grow? Hair grows but it breaks if it’s not given nutrients to flourish properly. Remember how black mothers used to do? Moisturize the little girl’s hair every day before going to school, grease the scalp three times a week before bed and wash the hair either every two weeks or once a month. We need to go back to doing this with ourselves!

Kacey-Ann Moulton: 16:15 Tbh to me it seems like it could be 4c. I’d have to see it defined to tell. Doesn’t have to be shrunken to the scalp to be 4c

nyla scurry: love these videos

Trinity Kamiyah: Not me watching your old videos of you reacting to type 4 hair. To you finally posting a new one

Baseballchica: 8:50 maaannn I cried laughing with you! Our hair shrinkage is NUTS man, wow! P.S. you remind me sooooo much of my sister!

Lana Lane: Okay I lied one more comment lol. I comment as I watch, so the scrubs feel amazing lol. Idk if it has anything to do with growth I use them because of my dermatitis on my scalp. Anytime I have a flare up I need to use a scrub and/or a clarifying shampoo with all the bells and whistles to strip my hair completely clean. I can't rely on cowashes and things like that. I need Tgel, head n shoulders etc

ASHER'S WRLD: Takoko is when your hair is knotted and matted and you can’t comb it well…

Charnika Wimbush: Finally the first person to catch your amazing videos!!

DeDe Light: I'm 4c and trying to exfoliate my scalp is aggravating. My hair too thick and it's hard to get to my scalp.

MNCHLDTRNDZ: loveeeeeed this!

Sierra Boyd: While she was wrong with the category porosity, texture, and density make a difference in all haur types

Cece: Can we get an updated makeup routine?

nani love: Everyone who is trying to be uplifting about hair and hair types need to rephrase the way they acknowledge "good" hair. ALL hair is NOT good hair. If you have damaged, broken, etc. hair regardless of what "type" hair you have it is NOT good. Any "hair type" that is HEALTHY is GOOD hair. Have a blessed day.

jdc1lovelylady: I’m here for the details on this wig only

Danielle Morris: This is what I notice about hair your hair is basically like a treethat thrives on dirt(built up products from hair products use in the hair or from not touching your hair from a certain amount of days or months) water(when you wash your hair)soil(the nutrition inside the hair products you use for your hair) the sun☀ (what methods do you use to style and protect your hair)and last but not least the roots a.ka.the scalp on your head and the ends of your hair which is basically like (what type of products is your scalp absorbing how are you washing your scalp do your scalp feel clean) (did you get rid of all that built up or dirt out of your scalp) and once your scalp is clean then the ends of your hair a.k.a. the leaves on your head is going to absorb all the nutrition you did on the scalp for it to grow and all you have to do is just trim✂ the bad roots off the hair so it can grow but you have to be the one that keeps that flower on your head from blooming.

Yahminah Ain: Yesss! All hair is good hair!

M Branche: I don't play with the "B" word either...

Abby Crown: “Takoko” means “tangled” in Yoruba language of Nigeria.

Lana Lane: Okay last comment lol, siiiis I've been tryna figure out if my hair is 4b or 4c cuz I know some girls have a complex where they mislabel 4c as 4b because they don't wanna own up to being 4c. And I have not been to a salon since going natural and im scared lol

Clara: 21:03 I looked at you the same time you looked at the camera. Making the same face!

Lacreasha Anderson: Last 2 def wasn’t type 4 by any means but anywhoooo let me know on the scalp scrub too bc I have 4a-b my son def has 4c and er ummmm we need some works lol back on our healthy hair food body self care journey and we needs it all hun-tea okay his 9 n literally is a grown man n a lil 54’ body lol got me hiding my muse gel bath salts n body scrubs lol got a hair cut today n needed a new sponge brush n spritz like boy who where why gone lol

One Grain: Takoko means “tangle” but not in a polite way lol.

L. Smith: Yes, please do natural hair video.

SOULar Lioness ELITE: #WeWantMore ❤️

Sadi Barbie: The hair popping

Lawrence: YOUR MAKE -UP IS *MUAH*!!

AsiaMonaé ✨: GET THAT GIRL OUTTA HERE NOW!!!!!

edgarlyn g: Same whenever I leave my hair alone it grows

OLUWATOFUNMI MAKINDE: Lol takoko is a Yoruba word that basically means nappy hair

Akeredolu Olufeoluwa: Takoko means hair that is always matted in Yoruba

dominique williams: I exfoliated my scalp I have a twa it’s type 4b hair it helps my overall growth

T K: I LOVE this video BUT I'm STARING And DROOLING at the BAGS in the background! (I promise I was listening tho!)
