Hey guys! So the journey with my tapered hair continues. Today I'm trying out the Marc Anthony Curl Envy Styling Cream. I loved the results! This technique is good for days when you want to do a quick wash-n-go and not layer on products. Let me know what you think below :)

What'S up guys, it should go Breanna, aka, mini Marley and in today's video I'm gon na be showing you guys. Another hairstyle, like I promised, and today we're gon na, be doing the washing go. So, as you know, when I do my washing goes typically, I use a gel. That gives me a really defined look and then I kind of fluff it out and do my thing. But today I decided to use a creamier product which always gives me a more fuller fluffier look, so I had the opportunity to work with Marc Anthony on the curl and the styling cream this product right here, and I actually originally tried this out on a twist Out and I absolutely loved the results they were so nice, my hair was defined and it was also really really moisturized. So I decided to put this product to the test on a washing go, so I'm gon na be showing you guys today how I use it from my washing goal to get these results, which I absolutely love. My hair feels nice and moisturized, but it's still really thick and fluffy just the way I like it, so I'm gon na show you guys what I did now. So let's get started on this tutorial, so I'm starting with freshly washed hair and the first thing I'm gon na do is apply my leave-in and castor oil. I always like to apply or leave it in my favorite oil and I just mix those together because oil senses sit on your hair, but when you apply them with another product mix it together, it's easier for it to soak in to your strand. So that's what I'm doing right now and I'm applying it to each section and then clipping it up. So I just wanted to show you what my hair looks like after I apply that leaving and oil before I apply the Marc, Anthony style, MV curling cream. So this is what it looks like after I defined those curls. So I'm just going to move on to the top section and show you exactly what I'm doing so. I'M just parting off a small section clipping away the rest, and I'm gon na start by just raking through that styling cream through this section, making sure that my curls are thoroughly coated, and this is the product. This is what it looks like. It comes in a tube just like this, and I'm just gon na what this section, making sure that it's nice and drenched so that the product can move easily through the section. Then I'm gon na take a little bit of product like this and go ahead and start raking it through. So I personally like to curl specific curls around my fingers and areas right and older hair doesn't curl up as much, and this is what that section looks like when it's done so I'm just moving to the top and doing the exact same thing. I'M making sure that this section is good enough for the product to see you around and then I'm just gon na apply a little bit of it and rake it through making sure that my curls get really nice and defined. But again this isn't like a regular washing go, so it's not gon na be super defined, but my curls do clump up, which is really nice, so the front of my hair in this area. The curls tend to not to clump up as much because I still have a lot of dead ends from reaching my hair. So I like to go in with a separate gel and just make sure that I coil those little sections around my fingers so that the curls really clump up because during the week that's the area that likes to frizz up first. So I'm just going through with some gel and coiling certain curls around my finger just to get a little bit more definition, and this is what my hair looks like so far, I'm doing a little dance. So I only have one section that I'm just gon na repeat the same exact steps, so I'm pretty much done applying the styling cream to my entire head now - and this is what my curls are looking like: they're, nice and defined and clump together, not as much As they would be, if I used a gel, but I still get a lot of curl definition and my hair is so nice and soft with this styling cream. So now that I'm done with Drake, I'm just gon na go ahead and get ready to defuse my curls until they are dry. So I'm just drawing my hair in sections and making sure that it gets nice and dry before. I do anything to it because if you start playing with your hair, while it's damp, it will definitely frizz up on you. The last thing I'm gon na do just to finish off this style and make it look a little bit more sleek and put together is define my edges with a nice edge control. So I'm just clicking down my edges, making sure that they look nice and neat. Like I always do, and this style is complete, so I really really hope you guys enjoyed this video and the results that I got with this product again. Portia: I just want to say after I watched your video. I went out and purchased my own bottle of it. I was skeptical before about this product, but you convinced me to go out, and try it. I just wanted to tell you that I loved the results, and that my hair was so defined, and soft. This product is definitely going to me a staple in my wash and go's. I think I'm going to ditch gel altogether.

Personally, to make a more informed decision in determining if this product is suitable for individual hair types common to the natural community more video reviews are needed similar to this video to determine if this product is structured to accommodate all natural hair types. I am sure there is a large percentage of viewers like myself who are not focused on the finished look based on one review due to the common concerns of spending their hard earned coins on products that say they work on all hair types but in reality are not structured to address the various hair types in our community. Can you do more reviews on this product using some of your friends that represent the various hair types common in our community so your viewers can get a more balanced and honest review based on individual hair types? I looked at the Amazon reviews for this product and it appears it was formulate specifically for type 2 and 3 curly girls which is fine. Apparently, the creator of the product is looking for a niche in the natural hair community to boost his revenue and hope your review will help sell this product in the natural community. I have no problems with that but as I stated earlier, it would be beneficial to see it used on various hair types in the community before making a purchasing decision. We all know from experience once the product is received positively by our community these companies eventually increase the price of their products. With that said, in the beginning while you were applying the product I notice a really nice shine and definition. I went back to review some of your older wash and go video using eco styling gel to make an honest product comparison of which product I think produced the best wash and go. In my opinion the Eco Gel outshines the Marc Anthony Curl Envy Cream. What led me to conclude this is after using Marc, once your hair dried completely, your hair lacked luster and shine. The curl definition is mostly on the outer surface, the ends whereas inner surface areas where you parted your hair seems poufy with some curl definition. Looking at your other videos where you combined the Eco and other products , you got better curl definition on the inner and outer areas of your hair with great luster and shine. Lashelle Z. Farrington: The Marc Anthony products give the best results and holds moisture BUTTTTTTTTTT those products caused my hair to SHEDDDDDD like crazy! I had stopped it for a while because I wasn't sure at first what was causing my hair to shed, and when I stopped the shedding was less. Then I went back to using it a few months later and the shedding started right back again. It was horrible, as much as I loved the curl definition, it wasn't worth losing my hair. But it is the best curl defining product I had used.

LBellatrix: I picked up both the Curl Envy and the Curl Stretch on a random trip to Ulta this summer. I was surprised at how well they worked on my 4b coils. Like you said they don't define like gel does but the result is still nice. Thanks for sharing!
