Hey guys welcome back to another video, i'm about to style my wash and go using the twist elongating style cream from melanin, hair care and the multi-use pure. What the hell was that and the maltese pure oil blend from melanin haircut, which is my hair care brand for full disclosure. So we get the question a lot about how to style your hair as a wash and go using a twisty lung getting style cream. So i figured i would go ahead and just show you what i'm about to do, so you can kind of know how to use it. This is our melon and hair care, luxe t-shirt, towel very stretchy, thick material soaks up all your water, and i have some pink stains on it, because my hair in the back is dyed like a mauve color. Whenever you dye your hair moth, it comes out in every wash. So that's fun, don't mind my stain towel, but if you want to get one of our luxe t-shirt, towels they are available at melania. Haircare.Com link is in the description box, the twisty locking style cream. Like all of our products are really multi-use, so don't feel like you can only use it for like its name twisting braiding, although it is amazing for protective styling and braiding, and twisting the hair long term also makes beautiful, braids and twist outs. You can also use it for roller sets for wash and go's and really anything that you see fit because it is a natural butter. I need some water, so i will be right back. I usually like to do this in the shower, because i have type 4 hair in its course. It can get frizzy and i like to just have a constant stream of water just to help set the style. But i really didn't feel like filming in the shower. Today, so we go and do this outside so how i prepped my hair, is i actually just co-washed it today i used the melon haircare multi softening leave-in conditioner to detangle my hair, and then i just twisted it up to keep it nice and stretched. Sometimes, what i'll do for a quicker styling process is, after applying the leave-in conditioner to my hair i'll, just in the shower grab a little tiny bit of twisting cream rake it through a little bit of the multi-use per oil blend and then twist it up, and I will literally just leave my hair in these big twists to dry overnight and then, when i take my hair out, it's kind of got this like faux wash and go look which is really cute today, i'm gon na rake it through just so i can show You guys i'm gon na grab a section. If i was in the shower, i would wet this rest in peace. My shirt add a little bit of the twisty lunging style cream. It'S all under my fingernails lovely, that's exactly where i wanted it. I love that i mentioned. I already have a leave-in conditioner on this. I add the leave-in conditioner to my hair, no matter what style, i'm doing. It'S just really important to condition your hair. Give that moisture a nice head start. All of our products are meant to benefit the hair. This is first and foremost, hair food and a moisturizing treatment for your hair. Styling comes second to hair health. I don't want to risk the health of my hair just for a cute style. That'S just me. Everyone'S different, but the great thing about the twisting cream is that it's buildable. So if you do need a gel, you can always add that on over your cream, whenever you use a gel, you really just want to make sure that you're moisturizing underneath and our twisty lung, getting style cream is a great component for that little finger. Coil, like that, for a little bit of a moisture retention insurance, you can add the multi softening leave-in conditioner and there you go. That'S it. I'M gon na release this side repeat the same process on soaking, wet hair. Some people don't need to do this. Everyone'S hair is different. I get the best results if my hair is soaking, wet, so add a lump of twist elongating style cream. I always tell people to start off late and then build up. If you need more add more, it's not like a watered down. Curling cream, it's a really potent butter moisturizer. This is reinforcing my curl pattern. If you do this in the shower, you don't even have to do this. This is why i like the shower, because, like your hair, is already soaking wet and reinforced, and you really just apply it and go here's what it's looking like so far. This is without gel. I just want you guys to see that you can use it with or without you guys. Like my nails, i did them myself. They'Re not perfect is a learning process. I am proud of them. Our prices are going to be increasing in april. So if you have not tried the products or if you love our products and they are staple in your kit and you want to get them at their under 20 price point right now - it is the time to do so before april. Our price increase is only going to be by a few dollars, so it's still going to be a steal. The raws just keep going up and they're not going to go down. I don't think a lot of people really understand like what goes into ordering products and making products, but you know we're a small business. Our products are all custom-made, which means that our factories that make them have to order special raw ingredients specifically for us. That means that the raws that they're using are only used for melanin, hair care, so they're only ordering a small amount compared to you know. If they were ordering a preservative that they use across like hundreds of lines, they can order a huge amount of that preservative and they can order at a super cheap price because they're ordering so much. But we use a bunch of niche ingredients and they're only being used for us. Bras across the industry are getting expensive, but ours are super niche. Trying to secure them is very expensive they're taking forever to get here, so we try to rush them over, which is like another added cost, and so prices just really keep going up and up and up, and we need to safeguard ourselves pretty much. So if you guys love our products, our innovation, our quality and our low price point, i hope that you can understand why we had to make this decision. Our price point is still super low, for what we're offering our product should really be like 35 um. That will take place in april. On this other side, i am going to do basically the same thing: soaking the section using the twist elongating style cream to help moisturize and clump, strengthen and keep the hair healthy. Here is just to show you that you can also use the products as a base under your gels. So all i do is just rake it in look at that. Don'T have to worry too much about clumping it because the gel is gon na. Do it. For you, okay, we're gon na see two different styles of wash and go using the twist elongating style cream. So i applied both sides. You can see that the twist elongating style cream works beautifully on both sides. This is not going to make your hair texture super defined. If you have a curl pattern, all it's going to do is allow you to clump that curl pattern. In essence, the twist elongating style cream is a nutritional moisturizing product that works beautifully on twist outs and braid outs and protective stylings, and it additionally will help to clump your curl pattern. If you have one for a nice soft voluminous wash and go so if you're somebody like me who has a curl pattern, this will help you do that or if you have an afro texture and you don't give a damn about curl patterns. This is going to be a beautiful moisturizer for your just everyday washing up, but if you're somebody who needs that extra tight curl, it has to be super defined and perfect. All the time and you swear by a gel, like you - have to use a gel. The twist elongating style cream is going to work beautifully as a base product so that your gel doesn't have to work as hard and so that the gel doesn't damage your hair or dry it out. So it's going to be your first step in clumping and it's going to add a nutritional layer, a moisturizing base underneath your gel, which tends to be a drying product. That just is what it is. You don't want to apply it by itself. I hope that helps to clear up any questions or confusions regarding washing goes in this product. I guess maybe a better name for the product would have been like a multi-use cream or something like that. But i really wanted to drill home that, like your twists and braids, are going to be perfection with this, but you can also use it for your wash and go so. I hope this gives you a better example of that and i hope that that helps clear up any questions. I'Ma dry, my hair and i'm going to be back, so you guys can see the final product dry. It'S about 80 dry. So, as you can see, the sides look pretty identical. The side with the gel is slightly more defined, whereas the side without gel and just the twisting cream definitely has all so much more volume. You can kind of see my layers lifting more um. You can see the gel adds just a little bit more weight, probably wait until i go to sleep to just stretch it in my satin wrap. I just wanted to show you the wash and go with the twist elongating style cream, whether you're somebody who doesn't necessarily need gel to define or somebody who relies on gel to define the twisty long getting style cream is going to help you achieve those results. Both ways - that's really it for my quick like wash and go demo there's so many different ways to use our melon hair care products so definitely give them a try, they're all multi-use.
