Foreign video - I'm not doing no makeup, I'm not we just gon na film, okay, because I'm actually beat um, I'm really tired, but I need to do my hair and I was honestly debating on if I was even gon na film it, but I was like, I Know that I have been M.I.A lately, so let me at least try to find the energy to film it. So that's what we're going to be doing, but we're going to be doing a tape in installation and that's another reason why I wanted to film it, because I only have one tape in video - and I know everybody loves sapins right now, but I'm gon na be Switching up the texture of my tapings, so I wanted to show that on camera. Since the last time I did um the straight look um so yeah. These are the tape pins we're going to be using today. These tape, ins, of course, are from my line. Y'All already know, but if you don't know, go check the description, it says, Mallet still looks so trapped. These types are from my line. These are raw Burmese, curly tapings. I absolutely love the curl pattern of these. It'S so freaking cute. One thing is my hair. Looks really dark on camera, but honestly it's not that dark in person. My hair is actually really Brown now, because I'm trying to let my black grow out, so I can color it soon. I think it's more like brown in the back and in the middle, though, because I think I've colored like the front a while ago, probably to match the mixed inches or something I don't know um, but these tapings are more of a brown color. I don't know if y'all can really tell on camera, but we're gon na make it make them work, because I'm about to dye these I've already washed and conditioned them so we're just gon na make them work. You'Re not gon na be able to tell like that. Yeah, these are raw bird meat. Why am I? Why am I slinging them like like throw them in the trash now? These are robberies really, like I said I have. I think this is 18 inch, so the tapings that I sell come in 40 pieces, not 20 pieces. Okay, so come shop with us, so each bundle essentially is 40 pieces of Tape. 40 pieces of tape is essentially equivalent to one like regular bundle. So I have three so 40 times. Three is like what one twenty one twenty. So this is 120 pieces of tape. I think that's equivalent to 300 grams, so each bundle is a hundred grams, so 40 pieces of tape and one bundle 100 grams per bundle - gives you 120 pieces or 300 grams. Now, because these are curly, I don't think I'm gon na use, but because these are curly, I don't think I'm gon na need all three bundles, so we're gon na see how many I'm gon na get. I feel like I'm probably gon na only eat these two. Like I don't want my hair to be super big, and these are super thick as you all can see, so we're gon na see how many pieces of tape I'm gon na end up using. I went ahead and pressed my hair out straight because when you install tapings, you want your roots to be flat. That makes for an easier installation. So, even though these are curly, I did press my hair out straight. I'M probably gon na end up pressing these out too on my first installation. So when I wash my hair next time, um or when I do my first wash I'll, probably just leave my natural hair curly. So I can wear these curly and see how that looks. But I think for today, after I install these, I'm gon na, probably press them out, maybe curl them or something I don't know we'll see how it looks. We'Re gon na jump into these tapes um, I'm probably gon na, do the first little like section off off camera, since you have already seen me do that on my last type in video and then we're just gon na jump in soon. Let me go get these dogs because they're about to go drive me crazy, so all right y'all. So if you watched my first tape in video, then this is the trick to making sure that you have left enough leave out out so that you'll be able to cover the tape. So you take the end of a rat tail comb, the silver end and just pull your hair up to make sure it fully covers the comb. As long as it fully covers the comb, then you are good. You have enough leave out out so make sure you do that step. Don'T skip that step, sis, because the whole purpose of taping is to make it Supernatural and seamless and be able to do different styles with it. So if you didn't leave enough hair out, then you're gon na be upset because you're not gon na, be able to get the full versatility of tape in so don't skip that step all right, so I'm just gon na show y'all how to do your tapes. So I like to use one piece, the tape and attach it to the top first I like to get whatever hair is going to stick to that piece and then flip up that tape and then stick the second piece of tape underneath so essentially making a sandwich. Um, hopefully, you'll watch my first stickman video, so you kind of got the steps, but if you didn't, I hope that I'm explaining it correctly and in a way that makes sense so there's like a whole tape in installation kit that you can buy on like Amazon Or whatever um, I don't use all that stuff. It comes with like Clips pliers, all this other stuff, I mean I don't find it necessary for me. You can use it if you like, but I feel like my fingers work just fine to be honest. Um. I haven't had an issue with my tape slipping out, so all I do is just kind of like press them together after I've made the sandwich. I just press them together with my fingers and that's good enough to me all right now. Let me caution you. Okay, the most important step in installing tape ends is to make sure you are applying them away from your root, okay away from your roots. If you apply them too closely To Your Roots, it's going to snag you're, going to be pulling your hair when you're, manipulating the tapes and your hair will fall out. Okay, like that's just not a question, it's going to fall out, so please make sure you apply your tapes far not far away from your roots, because you don't want too much of your hair to to be left out or too much of your roots to be Out but don't apply them right on your roots. Okay, looking back at this video, I could have applied it a little bit further from my roots, but honestly, like they weren't. Bothering me when I'm like pulling my hair into a ponytail or bun or whatever like there's. No really tension, but I just like to be safe. Then sorry, okay, and so I already feel like my hair - is very thin as it is so make sure you're applying them far away from not far away my bad, my bad make sure you're applying them a good amount away from your roots, all right cool we're. Just gon na keep going. I have no clue how many rows I did. I didn't count honestly. I think I ended up using about a hundred and about a hundred pieces, and that was way too much. This hair is very thick. I honestly didn't need that much, but this is only my second time applying tapings, so I got ta get a little bit better with the spacing um and all of that stuff I probably could have gotten away with just 80 pieces. I did not need a hundred pieces like you're gon na see. In the end, it ended up being really really full honestly, I can't even wear it curly because it's so cool and I personally don't like big full hair. So if you do perfect this, that's gon na work for you, but for me I don't so 100 pieces of this kind of hair was just a little bit too much too fluffy too big for me, so yeah well, two! You do want to pay attention and be cautious with your partying. You do want your parts to be as neat as possible because you don't want your hair to snag like in between the tapes, because that's gon na cause breakage too so just make sure your hair is flat. Your parts are neat um so that when your hair sticks to the tape, it just sticks cleanly and doesn't snag. Thank you, foreign. Thank you, foreign foreign, so right here I was trying to decide if I felt like I needed one more row of tapes on both sides of my head. Honestly, I didn't, but I went ahead and it did that anyway. So just gon na apply a tape in like a quarter of a tape at an angle upward. So that way it falls in my face like the right way. Um and that's another thing too, like you, don't have to apply the entire length of the tape. If you feel like you need just a tiny section, all you have to do is just measure out the piece that you need apply both sides of the tape together and then cut it, because if I would have applied like a full length tape right here, like I wouldn't have been able to hide it like right there in the front of my hairstyle. That'S what I'm doing oh foreign foreign and then now just gon na demonstrate the seamlessness of tape ends see. You cannot even tell girl tape in wear super flat. Install y'all can see how big this hair is by the size of my ponytail. I don't know if I was just ignoring that little piece of the back of the tape or, if I didn't see it, it's like right in my face. So how did I not see it um but yeah, just showing y'all how flat this install is, and then I'm gon na press it out, because my hair in between was straight so just wanted to go ahead and press it out all right now. Look! Okay! This hair is extremely thick. This is like the ultimate texture, so if you're looking for some tape ends with some textures, we got you all right, um. Now these tapings, this texture can be pressed out um. However, it's a very like defined texture. So it's not going to press out like bone super straight, but it presses out well enough to be able to blend with your natural hair if you want to wear it straight um. But this was a bit of work because the hair was so thick. So just had to take my time, apply a little oil and go through and blow it out. Thank you, foreign. Thank you and right here you can see how well it pressed out um Blends well with my natural hair, so literally love this texture, like I said, if you're looking for some tape, ends with real texture uh to match your natural hair, then we got you, you Can see the difference between the Pressed outside and its natural state, I do have a tape and remove video coming. I low-key had a disaster. I was trying to remove them the first time, so I want to talk to y'all about what to do. What not to do what product not to use so that video is still coming it'll, probably come right after this one, so yeah um all right so enjoy the rest of this video, all right, y'all! So here's the finished result. I have on a hoodie because I'm about to head out the house, but I pressed it out, and this is how it pressed out. I am absolutely in love, so I'm just getting into the Raw Hair space I'm so used to using like Brazilian extensions which, as you all know, are super silky. I love my Brazilian extensions, but I'm realizing that raw hair, especially Vietnamese raw, really matches our hair texture. A little bit better, but this really looks like my hair and it's like it still has some silkiness and some shine to it, but it's very thick and coarse, and so I feel like that's what helps it to mimic our texture. A little bit better, like y'all, saw in the video. This here was extremely curly, and so this is how it pressed out I'll, probably throw some curls in it a little bit later. But for the sake of this video, not gon na. Do that one camera Just Gon na Keep it straight for right now when it comes to like raw curly textures like this, you do have to treat it as if it was your natural hair right. So y'all know how like our hair, textures um if they're like really thick and curly and coarse you'll, have to show it some extra TLC put a little bit of oil on it. Maybe something to keep it from freezing because it will press out straight. But you have to also remember that the natural natural texture is super curly, so you just have to show it a little bit more TLC than you would like your straight hair or your body wave or your loose waves. But overall y'all see how well this pressed out. I am absolutely in love: let's do a high pony. If I want to do a ponytail. I don't have this perfect, but y'all get the gist of it. If y'all watch my last taping video, then you know how flat and natural looking tape ends can be if I was to put it in a high bun. This is how it would look super flat and natural y'all. Excuse me, I'm ugly, all up in the camera. That'S it for this video. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Let me know what you think in the comments below sorry that I've been M.I.A for so long y'all, I've been traveling a lot um and I just have not had the time to like edit videos, film videos or whatever. So I do apologize, but the videos I do film will always be uploaded on Wednesdays from now on.
