My darlings welcome back to another video, and today I'm going to be doing a little get ready with me a little bit of a transformation. You would have seen in my last video the hair extensions that I was trying out so today. I'M gon na tell you about thousand extensions and show you how opera mini now, avad extension sent to me before this. These were gifted to me just for total transparency from a company called Doris. I think that's how you pronounce it or doors um. The lovely Lola reached out to me and asked me if I'd like to try some of the hair extensions. No way I've tried air extensions in the past when I was blonde and well when I was dark before as well, and I really struggle with clipping hair extensions, because my hair is just so fine as I've got older it. I think it's just part of getting older the menopause uh dying, your hair bleaching, it coloring it, it all adds, doesn't it to the state of your hair um. So I had a look on the website and they had the extensions that are on like a band like um. Let me just show you it's like a fishing wire. You might yeah, you can see it so it's unlockable wire. It has got Clips in as well. For security, but can you see the wire it's so so fine and I thought I'd, give these a go um, because I did say to Lola that my head is so fine, I struggle with clippings. Would it be okay? If I tried this one - and she says yep no problem, so these are the extensions that I went for they are in the color chocolate brown and they're 16 inch long. Now I didn't really go for the length it's more for volume with me and because my head is, you know down here anyway, although I was considering having it caught, but since I've got these, I'm kind of you know still tying with the idea, but I may Just not bother now I've got these and just keep treating my hair with um, hair, masks and stuff, because it is in a little bit better condition since I stopped bleaching it so yeah. These are the air extensions, so I'm going to show you where we'll put them in I'm going to do a little bit of a quick makeup. Look nothing major majorly Glam! Just you know my 10 minute makeup and how you can transform from this to you know. Looking a little bit better, so let me just tell you a little bit about the company. The company are called Doris. As always, and in this little box you get the hair, obviously which came in this little bag with a net round it. I'Ve got a tail Pole, some extra clips and more bands in case it snaps or anything. You can put a new band on and put some more Clips on. An instruction manual flip in these are called flip in hair extensions, and I also got some eyelashes as a little freebie. So that's all I've got in my box. I think if you have the actual clipping ones, the box is a little bit different and you get different things inside the box like uh crocodile clips and stuff so yeah about the brand uh. So, let's get transforming into uh yeah something remotely human. Looking foreign, I'm just gon na. Do a quick, easy, 10 minute makeup look today and then we'll do the hair and I'll show you where I'll put the the extensions in, because I am getting ready to film my q, a which we, you will say on Friday. So I'm just starting off with the Primark Flawless glow in the shade honey, I'm not putting any foundation on today, I'm just using this. I'Ve got a spot there. Look I'm just going to go in with this. This is nearly all gone. You know I absolutely love this stuff. I have um bought some more um from Primark. I always grab it. If I see it, I've got a couple of different shades and this stuff it just evens out your complexion. It'S the dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury. Hollywood Flawless filter, I'm here again looking over the top here, I have got my um my mirror. I'Ve already done my eyebrows just for um quickness, really so I've just plastered that all over my face, love that stuff. If you see it in Primark, grab it and then I'm just going to blend that out and you'll see it just evens out the complexion and it's not thick or cakey a little heavy on your skin. It just gives you a lovely natural glow, which is what I am going for today. It'S got a little bit of coverage, not nothing major, just a little bit of coverage, so it's covered up that little little spot that I've got on my chin there. There we go. I really do recommend this stuff. Uh elf, do one collection do one. Obviously Charlotte Tilbury does one, and especially for us older. Ladies, I mean I do, love a full glam. You know face of makeup. As you know, I love my makeup, but as we get older, I think sometimes we need to just look more natural, don't we rather than like having caked on I mean I do cakey time if I'm going anywhere special, you know I'll make more of an effort, But just every day makeup: this is what I go for, so that's the um base done basically, so I'm just gon na do a little bit of concealer just in the corner of the eye. This is the liqueur one. I'M not sure what this is a dupe of this is not the tart do play. I'Ve got that one. So just a tiny bit in the corner of the eye, that's what it looks like and then I'm just going to get my beauty, blender and just press that into the corners of my eye, just to brighten it up where it's much darker. I do stuffly dark circles and stuff under my eyes and then the last bit, I'm just going to Pat out because the lace product under the eyes, the better as we know as you're getting older anyway. You know you can't do all this big um triangles and stuff like the youngsters. Do we have to adapt it to our aging skin and I just press it in, rather than dragging it and then just tap the excess and you can see how it just brightens up the inner corners and then for powder? I am going to be using the poundland smooth Lake does it, which is absolutely brilliant for the under eye, I'm going to be using my trigwell Cosmetics. This helps with the smoothing as well. It'S absolutely brilliant. This um Powder Puff is so I'm just going to put some of that just to set the under eye. You see the difference this Powder Puff makes Incredible. I don't know how I ever lived without this Powder Puff lovey. So look at the difference. That'S powder Dawn. I'M going to do a little bit of Contour where's that gone here. It is this. Is the foundation and Contour stick from Primark in the shade. Chai! Absolutely love this, so I'm just going to do a little bit of Contour and then we will warm up with some bronzer. I might do a little bit down there just to cover that spot a little bit and then just gon na blend patting it in not dragging just going to blend that I love this. It Blends so easy. I'M just going to get my makeup sponge and just pat on the edges, just to diffuse the edges a little bit. That'S it Contour done next is uh where's, it gone where's, my blusher Primark blush out. I absolutely love this. I'M doing all my cream products first and then I'm going to go in with my powder products, primer blusher. I love this stuff, so I'm just going to put it's barely visible to start with I'll just put some on there, but I do put a little bit of um powder blusher on the top, absolutely gorgeous love that one and then I'll just use my finger to Pat that in so pretty so pretty right powder products Too Faced Chocolate, bronzer, my absolute favorite at the moment, so I'm just going to put a little bit of bronzer where I've contoured. I mean that child call. That of the Contour is quite a warm color anyway, but I'm just going to put a little bit just to set the Contour, and then I'm also going to use this bronzer on my eyes just all over the lids and flicking it out just to create that Little bit of a wing deepen it up in my crease a little bit. That'S it! I was done using bronzer. You know it's perfect just for a quick, simple, everyday look, and I love that Too Faced bronzer right, I'm gon na do my um yeah highlighter, my favorite one of all illamasca I've used this, for God knows how long uh in the shade OMG. So I'm just going to pop a little bit of that on and then I always bring it up onto my brow bone as well just to highlight that little bit there. It gives you the look of that glass glass skin a little bit on the end of my nose. Then I'm going to take some Primark blush out. These are just a pound and they're brilliant. This is a beautiful, bubblegum, pink and then I'm just going to add a little bit to where I did my Cream Blush out just to set that down a little bit and then get my beauty Blended again and just go over that just to blend pull those In together love, these are my everyday go-to products. Next thing mascara benefit bad girl, bad girl, bang love this one they've actually got a dupe for this at the moment in Lido Aldi, even not little, that's it and then a little bit of eyeliner on the inner corners and tight lining as well. This is the Lord and Berry one which is um smudge, proof, which I really really like. I'Ve just gone into my waterline inner corners and that's it done for eyeliner next lips and then we can get onto the hair. I'M using my Nars lip liner in this beautiful, pink color my contact lenses and playing up today. This one's really bothering me today keeps moving around. Don'T know why lip liner done. I am living for this Clinique lipstick! Oh my God, it's my absolute favorite! I have got to try and get another one because I don't want to run out. I mean I have still got quite a bit left, but it's absolutely beautiful makeup done. So what we're going to do now is. I am going to straighten my own hair. First now my hair is um, very fine, very fly away. I'Ve told you this before uh, but what I have done. It'S it's been washed, but it's a couple of days old. So hopefully um it'll, look! Okay! You know you just need the strike. That'S running through it, and then we can get the um extensions in. So I'm just going to run the straightness through my own hair and with these extensions of course, they're human hair, you can actually um wash sheets curly straighten it. You know all the things you can do with your own hair, which is really good. So if I wanted like a curly look, I could do that as well, but I'm not the best at doing curls. Just text me forever. You know you see some people and I'm like, and it's done text me forever to do like a curl curly look with my hair. I don't know why, because I ain't got much right there we go now when I did it the other day. This is what I did where's my thing gone here. It is, I just went round like the crown of my head like this, because they just sit on the crown of your head and I'll just clip that up out of the way like so and then get the extensions. Let me just give them a little push through. They are so so soft, So Soft, they're, absolutely beautiful and I'm a really good match with my hair, because I do use a chocolate, brown hair dye and then you just pop them on your head. Like so, and then put the Clips in so I'll try and get it level. I unclip the clips once it's on my head, because otherwise it catches put those two in first just wrap them around a little bit because, like I say my hair is so stinking fine just so it grabs some of the hair see and then just do the Two middle ones just twist them a little bit like that, especially if you've got fine hair, push them down clip and then there's the band there at the top thought. I could hear music in my ears into the band room here that looks and then I'll just lose. This dougher grab your straighteners again and just blend it all in and there you have it so quick, so much quicker than putting all the clippings in and it feels so comfortable. It really really does feel comfortable. I mean the more I do it. The easier it'll get obviously, and then you know just bring your hair over the The Wire I mean you. Can there we go coffee it up completely. So you know you can't see it absolutely in love with these. Let me sit back a little bit, so you can say extensions and they are a really really good match. For my own hair, absolutely love them. I really do and they feel really secure as well, because they're sitting on your head there's nowhere for them to go, because you know what I mean. I absolutely love one. I really really do. I think the look really nice. Let me know what you think could even have them in a ponytail around to the one side yeah so so impressed.
