Yesterday I bleached my hair for the launch of my brand. I thought it was poetic, look what you can officially Buy today, we're bleaching it again. So yesterday I had in mind of just bleaching my roots, because I really wanted to recreate something like this kind of. Like a fire route moment - and I got that - and it looks fantastic, the problem is that the rest of my hair is looking on my best work. So today we're going to try to go through a lengthy color correction process, because I want to even the solar. I want to try to get it as light as I can, because I've decided why not go platinum. So today we're going to be trying to bleach our hair white or pink. Let'S go this process is making me nervous, so I am going to distract myself by doing something completely unnecessary but at the same time necessary it's close to Summer. Today we are tackling on my head because, as time passes, hair grows and just like the hair on my head, the hair on my leg also grows once again going in with my Kenzie IPL handset. This is the device that I've been using for the past year and a half, and it's already taken off all of my armpit hair and most of my bikini area and my final goal for this year is legs. I feel, like everyone has their hair removal process of preference. Mine just happens to be the Kenzie IPL advice. You start seeing results in two weeks and full results in 12. for my armpits. They pretty much all disappeared by week. 10.. It is super quick, it's effective. It'S painless, it removes the hair and the hair just does not grow back ever. Unlike waxing, it doesn't hurt, it doesn't cross any grounds like shaving, it doesn't smell and the best of all you get to do it yourself. You don't have to get naked in front of a stranger in a clinic. The way it works is that it converts light through here into heat, which targets the melanin in the hair, forcing it to stop growing. You select the intensity based on your skin tone following the guide, and then you just start putting it on your skin. If you want to put it into glide mode, I really want to get the areas around my knees, because that is always the area that I cut when I shave annoying. We can all be hairless for summer. Okay, that distracted me for a bit now it's time to actually get into this command addicts butchering English language since 98.. So yesterday I Marvel at the fact that I managed to get this lift, which is level 10. This root color right here. We just seven volume developer, two percent hydrogen peroxide. Normally I use six percent or nine percent, but we managed to get this lift three entire levels of lift with just seven volumes. So today, I'm going to be still using that same method of super super light bleaching to try to get this even try being the key word here. I don't terribly mind it if the front looked like this, but the back looks like this and we can do better. We can do better, so we're re-bleaching in the hopes of at least getting an even I'm literally doing this exactly like yesterday, 30 or so grams of bleach, 28, 29, 32. bleach one and a half ratio of this so we're adding 30 grams plus half so 15. Total 45 grams, the ratio of your mixing is technically up to you. Half of it comes down to how much peroxide you want to get into your mixture for strength, the other half down to consistency. Now I've got bleach and peroxide mix baby. This is the consistency that I like to go for, it's kind of like pudding like a healthy pudding. Finally, because we learned this earlier in the year, we're going to add some pure pigment drops into our bleach to help tone the orange out of our hair in color theory. We know that blue, complementary color is orange so because we're trying to get the orange out of our hair we're adding in more blue pigments to help fight it. That Should Be My slogan, help fight orange together we can, and then she beautiful, of course, I'm acting super confident when in reality, this process is pants nerve-wracking, because today, I'm doing a color correction. Color correction essentially refers to the process that doesn't make it a normal coloring so because I'm not going to be applying their colors, I'm going to first be tackling these. It makes it a correction and you can see that there's quite a bit of patchiness going on. So it'll have to be like very strategic placements of bleach, which is difficult enough to do on someone a whole other story when doing it on yourself there we are engineering instead of I can feed the Pixar guy if you're still trying to guess why? I'M being so agitated this process is really stressing me out so like this, I can see where's the camera. Aha, there you are, I'm gon na be using foils to incubate my bleach, so I am just going to cut them in half. I want to do this to myself all right, let's get into it, so here's the before and here's the answer just kidding, there's no after yet I haven't designed so the first area that I'm going to be tackling is going to be these areas. On my side, they are considerably darker on either side than any other area of my hair. I'M not even looking for this level blonde I'll. Take like that. I just don't want it to be Brown back again, you can go slower baby foreign and then, if need be, I'm gon na do a second application. I spilled all of this onto my desk, so I want to be busy cleaning this up so until then to the loop and after one bleaching, with seven volume developer. Here'S where we're at. Obviously, it's not white duh, but here's what I'm thinking these pure pigment drops that I actually ended up spilling everywhere did actually do a fantastic job of toning. It because this isn't so much orange as it is a peach. I'M saying that it did manage to lift my hair to a level eight, so two levels of lift with seven volume developer. Obviously it's not where I want it to be, but it is an impressive color. The back is still pretty patchy and I have this weird patch that I usually going to just cut off. Thank you a bit better. Now I've got two options. I can either continue with my bleaching and see how far I get. But my concern is that I don't really want to take it further. This is already bleached on top of color removal and while it is still so far structurally fine, I can start to see that along the edges, it's just getting a bit dry. It'S not yet damaged, yet I did a porosity test and the hair didn't snap. So it's not like Beyond recovery now, but it is going to get. If I don't be careful, so I think I'm going to take the mature approach and try not to bleach it anymore, but just try to dye it so that I even it out me my shirt is full of my hair. Okay, let me see what colors I have currently, however, it is my skin tone, so if I leave it like this, it will blend exceptionally well into my head. I'Ve got a plan, so part of me likes to execute dreams that I have for my hair. However, Another Part Of Me absolutely loves experimenting with colors that I have not tried yet. Oh, this is Guy tanks, color chart shorts color chart and there are two colors from each that I personally have not tried on myself that I think could work with what we have now. So at the moment my hair is kind of a level eight level nine. Over here it's more level eight, but it could pass for a level nine and then here it's like level 10, even level like it is. It is like there's this color that I've never tried called 8849 light blonde red beige Violet. So essentially, we're already here at the light blonde red and beige, so we're just adding in Violet. Now I am going to be adding this one to the on my root, because my roots are a ghostly, bright color compared to my ends. This needs to go darker. So we're going in with a level eight which is like a mid level blonde to darken it so that it can start to blend with our ends. Since we're not lighting our ends anymore, then on our ends, I want to go in with nine a r Amber Rose, this guy tanks color line, and it is meant for really gorgeous pastels. This color isn't very potent in fact, I'm actually going to add in more pink tones. However, I'm not trying to alter the color of this, I'm not trying to make it lighter or darker. I simply want to shift it currently, it's on like a peachy, coppery tone. I want it to shift a hint onto more of a peach pink tone. Let'S do it dark for the roots like for the ends, most probably to be honest into the ends itself. I'M going to also add a hint of blue, because I want to continue to cancel out too much more eight, eight, four nine on the root, obviously Schwarzkopf for my roots, we're gon na need maybe 40 grams of product. Just because I'm not mixing this with anything. I am genuinely just going just going up like this as it is 40.. So that's how much we're mixing and then because I literally want this to deposit and also I don't want to continue adding developers onto my hair, we're once again going in with seven volume. We literally don't want any lift. We just want to deposit 16 grams and then I'm going to add in 5 grams of more Rose there. We are all right, let's mix these up and apply them. Let'S go my babies. Let'S make Stella look good again. Oh, my God, you're bleaching, your hair again. How dare you yeah Sue me? Look it's already blending guys the magic is hair dyes. Should I come out with a hair dye line next thing, just sing. Look how well it's already Blended cute, oh terrible, cute 35 minutes processing and then I'm gon na see what the end color is going to be, but so far it looks dark, but I think it's actually going to be a fantastic color. I just I have a feeling, but you cannot really judge a color by what it looks like now so 35 minutes and then I'll be back to show you the look. Are we ready for the reveal I'm nervous but excited because I looked trash at the beginning of this video and before and after is where it really oh, that is so much better? There is so much better. Is this Dusty pink? Is there not a trace of gold or orange anywhere? Oh my God, I think good. I think it's good. I think it Blends okay, let's style our hair dryer here at all of our products in and the complete opposite of order of what I just said. Let'S style it all Flex number six, because our hair isn't terribly damaged, but I reckon it's built up a bit of porosity, so I am going to just try to maintain it as much as much as I can. Then I'm also going to be going in with uh Olympics number. Seven bonding oil, which I'm semi-ashamed to say, is actually heat. Protectant oil they're meant to apply before you dry, your hair. I I'm ashamed to say I didn't know it. I didn't know it. Sometimes. I saw this girl share it on her tick, tock, okay, I want to dry it because I want to see exactly what the color is, because how hair looks when it's wet is drastically different. I love this color so much it is the definition of nude. It is looking pretty disheveled because I put in zero effort when styling it, so I'm gon na go ahead. I'M gon na redo my makeup. I'M gon na put on a new shirt, I'm gon na style, my hair, because at the moment it is looking whack. It is, however, feeling so good and I'm so happy that I didn't feel like re-bleaching, my hair or using anything higher than a seven volume level. So the hair is still intact. It is still good, it is still healthy. It just needs a ton of styling, so I'm gon na do that. I'M gon na go ahead and style it off camera. Do my makeup get an outfit and give you the best after portion of the video you've ever seen. We are refreshed. Oh my God. I love this look. Oh my God, we went so off track like this is not white, but it is along the lines of pink. If anything, this is probably one of the prettiest hair colors I ever had in my life. It is a base of copper right, but it is pink tone. It is new. There is not that much of a hint of an orange as much as there is kind of a more Rosy pink look. It is like skin tone, it's like my baby and it was unintentional. I love it yeah. This is that video. This is how to bleach your hair safely. My hair has remained intact, it is not falling off, it is not breaking, it does have a ton of product in it, because I wanted it to give this kind of David Bowie s. Look very like. Oh. This is such a better um after portion like the before was whack, but this is now yeah, so this was it. This is how to bleach your hair. This is how to do so with a very low volume developer, to avoid excessive damage, as you can see, getting it to White would have required a secondary bleaching, but because I'm mature and I care about my hair, I took the Pyro. Experimentation with your own hair doesn’t mean it always comes out perfect as if someone else did it for you (which even then isn’t a 100% guarantee tbh, it just isn’t).
