Grwm - Curling Blonde Hair + Makeup For Dark Skin Girls

I am doing my very first get ready with me, video, i'm just doing my hair and my makeup, so i hope you guys enjoy so i already pressed out my hair in the salon. Now, i'm home, i'm actually going out with my best friend to atlantic city. So i was gon na wear it straight, but straight hair is just so boring to me, so i decided to just throw on some curls excuse the background. When i say i had to leave in less than 45 minutes, probably an hour. I was like trying to find things to wear, but i'm just going to section off my hair, i did get a good trim. I needed a really good trim, so my cousin that also works in the salon with me, was able to give me a good cut. I haven't pressed my hair in a while. Actually, i normally don't put a lot of heat to my hair, so yeah i figured i was going to the wild out concert with my best friend, so i didn't really want to put a weave in so i just decided to curl my natural hair. So here i'm just showing that i use the sebastian hairspray. I absolutely love the sebastian shaper the white bottle. It is the firm hold and yes, you can see that i did get it from marshalls. Marshalls actually has it for a very good price. So i normally rack up when i go there. I do take bigger sections because i am going to end up wrapping my hair, so i just wanted to have a lot of body and some volume, so i'm not going to do super small sections for my curls because i'm not wearing it curly curly, i'm also Using my eap heat flat iron, which i absolutely love, this flat iron for curling, is rounded off, so it does allow the hair just to fall off very nicely. The temperature of my flat iron is on 450 degrees, which is the highest setting. I normally typically put it on the highest degree, especially for thick medium to thick hair. Normally, with my silk presses, not just myself, but with my clients too, i can just go through one time and their hair is set for two weeks. So really it's about how you use the heat and knowing that you shouldn't be abusing it so putting it on the highest temperature of the first go-round really should not be an issue, and it really should not interrupt your curl pattern now, when you are starting to Put heat to dirty hair, doing it every day, etc. That'S when it becomes a problem, but normally i put it on the highest and i'm good to go as y'all can see. I haven't had my roots done in quite some months. Probably the last time i got it done was last year in december, i've been really trying to decide. If i want to keep my blonde or if i want to grow out, my natural black blonde is very hard to keep up with one, because i live in harrisburg and my stylist is in philly. So she does my color and my natural hair majority of the time so going back and forth is very hard with my schedule, but i love the blonde i'm just kind of over it, but i don't know i haven't made up my mind just yet on what I'M going to do so leave a comment down below. What do you think i should do? Should i stay blind, get my roots done or should i do a different color honestly, i'm willing to do a different color as well, maybe like a plum or like a purple, wish, i'm not sure when i'm curling my own hair, i'm curling away from my face. I want it to flow nice, so some nice feather curls um. So that's why you see me going back and then on the opposite side. I was going that way too. I'M going in between my camera and my mirror. So i apologize is i'm trying to get used to recording myself, so i apologize if it. If i'm going back and forth back and forth too much. If i was wearing my hair curly, i would definitely take smaller sections and pin curl it as i go. So it has a nice hold to it, but because i know i'm going to wrap it and i'm only doing it for just the volume i'm taking bigger sections curling it, because i know that it's the curls are going to fall. It'S guaranteed that it's going to fall because i'm wrapping it, but i'm also taking it at an angle, as you can see, especially when i get to the top. I want it to fall more in my face with especially with my deep side part. So that's why you'll see the um parting of the angle go so my curls are done. No, they are not perfect, but that's okay, because i'm about to wrap it up. Now i'm actually going to be using my black paddle brush, which i have like six of these. I absolutely love this paddle brush. It'S also the paddle blush brush that i blow dry with. I'M also going to use my silver duck clips to help my wrap along the way, but i'm going to make sure that i take them out before i'm letting my wrap sit. You want to take your duck clips out, even if you were doing this on a client, you want to take your duck clips out because you don't want any dents or anything in your hair, especially if you're doing like your night care routine and wrap your hair Up don't leave the clips in it leaves a dent in your hair and that's just not what you want. So i have my scarf on. I'M going to wrap it in a circle just to secure the wrap even more and then tie it to the back, and now i'm going to put on some makeup, so i figure i can show you guys how i put on makeup. I am no professional in makeup. Okay, let me just say: i'm not i'm not the best at makeup, but i know how to look presentable and that's just that. So if you guys have any pointers, anything like that, let me know i am using laura's tinted moisturizer. So this is not a foundation, it's definitely the tinted moisturizer. I really like it because it does have the sunscreen in it which i knew i was going to be outside. So i just put that on both my cheeks and go ahead and blend that out all over my face, so i've learned a lot of tips and tricks from like instagram and tick tock on how to apply my makeup. So that's why i go down to my neck and to my ears and things like that with my foundation. So again, if you guys have any more pointers for me, let me know, i think the hardest part for me in makeup is probably the concealer part like that blending it out, i'm still trying to get used to, but i do an okay job, just not the Best, but let me slug your head. Okay, i can slay some hair here. I am setting my eyes. I also use laura's setting powder as well um. I don't put any found, not foundation. I don't put any eye shadow on typically um, just because i like the natural look, i also don't know how to do eyeshadow so yeah. I use the tarte concealer, which i really like. I like that it's nice and creamy um it. Then it does blend out a little easier for me. I just think i need to learn how to blend it a little bit more, so you can see that the tinted moisturizer now that it's settled in it blends with my skin so well. I love this tufted moisturizer, especially right now, because it's summer time i'm interested to see in the fall. Maybe i'll have to go to shade down, but i absolutely love when it sets how much it blends with my skin tone. Now i'm going to go in with my true complexion palette um. I actually got this from writing. I was very happy that they actually had it every time i go to write a they. Never freaking had it, but i finally went and they had it and i purchased two of them. I didn't want to want to run out, which i probably don't think i would because i only use the contour for, like i didn't. I'Ve used the highlighter a little bit, but not not that much. I did my lashes off camera just because i have a hard time with them, but i did get a pack of lashes from amazon. I don't wear lashes that much, but i got a pack of lashes for amazon just to have. I actually cut my lashes too, because my eye my eye band, is that how you say it? I don't freaking know, but it's rather short and the lashes are always too long for me, so i cut them, so they can fit nicely on my eyes and now i'm just putting on some eyeliner, which i messed up putting on some eyeliner and then i want To take my hair down this lip gloss, i got from ulta, i do believe it's the nyx line. Um later i did put on lip liner. I don't know how i completely forgot to do it right then, and there, and then i just put on some highlighter, which i know my application needs to get better with that too. But that's okay, my face was very presentable. It looked good. It came out really good picture wise. It looked good as well, no flashback or anything like that, and now i'm going to take down my hair, so i'm just going to brush my hair in place on how i want it to sit. I think in the next clip i put on edge control to lay the one side and kind of kind of tuck it behind my ear. So, as you can see, it's a lot of body body body - it's not bone straight, but it's not curly curly curly either, which is how i like to wear it.
