Hey guys welcome back to my channel, i'm janae nichols in case you are new, so in this video i'm going to be doing my client's hair, it will be a silk press. I haven't seen her since november and she has a lot of breakage. So since november she's just been wearing like feeding, braids and micro links, but i did not do the micro link, she said she didn't see anything on my books on my calendar. So she went to somebody else and she feels like the track was too heavy for her hair, so yeah now we're on the road to recovery. I'M gon na give her a good trim. I did give her a treatment. I will have everything that i use listed down below. I hope you guys enjoy this video. She broke your heart and ever since that day boy, you ain't been the same. No i played my pose. LaBeLLa MiSSDonna: Thank you for talking about this!!!! I feel like soooooo many stylists do not talk enough about this enough, if at all!! I’ve always been wary of micro links because I felt like my hair (which is very fine naturally) wasn’t strong enough to withstand the style itself. People talk about sew ins & lace wigs/adhesive potentially being damaging. But the reality of the matter is that any style (especially with extensions regardless of how they’re done) is potentially damaging to natural hair. I’m currently on the road to recovery from traction alopecia in my crown area. Thankfully it is growing back with home & professional treatment. Hopefully within a year tops it’ll be fully recovered & catching up with the rest of my hair
