My First Tape-In Extensions... Was It Worth It??? | Curls Queen

I miss the way that you blowed up my line just to make sure that I'm feeling well hey y'all welcome back to my channel. So today I'm gon na be taking you guys with me to get my first tape and extensions at Grant. Hair studios, igenae and Jamal were the ones doing my hair. So, thank you guys so much because my hair came out so good, which I will see in the end. But as you guys can see, my hair started off pretty Tangled Up, because I had just took out braids that I had in for probably about two to three months. So when I got there, she went straight into detangling and coloring. My hair, I get so many questions on what color is used when I color my hair, but unfortunately I don't have an answer for you guys, because I always get it professionally colored and I never see them use like a specific color. If that makes sense, it's always custom, so I would just say: go to a professional and ask for chocolate, brown hair, that's what I always asked for and you should get the same. Exact result that I got. I also want to throw in there that um. I am super super duper tender headed. So if you guys see me just making faces throughout this video, it's not because they are like purposely hurting me. I'M just super tender headed and my scalp is super tender and I had literally just took out braids. So my hair was like it. My scalp went through a lot that day. Okay, so y'all just see me making faces throughout this process, but I don't want you guys to think they were doing anything to hurt me. I'M just super tender headed and always have been. I don't know what to do: yeah, okay, so on to the shampoo bowl y'all Jamal got me right. He was scrubbing my scalp, he was getting in there and I absolutely needed it because, like I just told you guys, I had in braids for months. So this is like the first time my hair got shampooed in literal months and I was in heaven they had the steam going. It was just perfect, y'all, perfect attention. Thank you. If you go to church foreign, okay, so now he's pressing out my hair - and I just want to say if you ever go to a professional or anybody that you go to always make sure to tell them to use heat protectant, even if they are professional. I always like to throw that in there, because I have had a super horrible experience where my hair got completely damaged and I damn near had to cut all my hair off and, as you guys can see, my hair has grew all the way back. Thank God within like two years, so that was kind of like a traumatic experience for me. So this is like the first time after that that I've had someone new straighten out my hair. So I was like super duper nervous about it, but I just made sure to tell him to use heat protectant and, as you guys can see, he only did one pass, which was super good and um yeah y'all, I'm just like. I just can't believe that my hair has grown out this much because I literally I can't talk. I literally had to cut all of my hair off little by little. Basically and my hair is back waistline, so I'm super grateful and I can't really you know, give credit to anything other than me always having my hair braided up and I'm Almost Never in my hair, 24 7., like it's always under a wig, so my hair just Gets to grow and just do what it wants to do, which is why, after this, you guys will see that I needed a trim really badly because it has been like a full year since I've had my last trim. So you guys will see me getting that as well, but yeah y'all make sure that you tell your whoever straightened out your hair, make sure they use heat protectant and make sure also they're only doing one pass baby. Okay: two two two kids, foreign she's, not a choice. Y'All I saw my hair pressed out. I had to jump in front of the phone y'all already know how to go. I had to make a quick insta story because it had been a complete year since I seen my hair pressed out, and I was just like wow my had grown so much. Let me make this quick video right here, but that was the last step before applying my tape ends, which is from curls queen hair. They sent me 20 inches um of their water, Jerry curly hair and they also sent 120 pieces. So that's like a Ultra Ultra full set. I did not end up using all of the tapings at all, so I would not recommend if you want a natural look to buy, that mini, I would say, buy whichever one is the next one down, because I had one full bundle left after she applied all Of them, I'm just going to talk a little bit about what it felt like getting the tapings applied. Just you know, because I know a lot of people have not had tapings installed before so to me it was it felt it wasn't painful, but the tape kind of snags, your hair, just a little bit when it's being like you know when it when it goes On your hair, but right after that, you don't feel anything else and I still have any tapings right now. Y'All - and it just feels like my hair at this point, so is way less painful than getting a sew in I've never had a quick weave before so I don't really know how that feels, but I'm sure it's way less painful than that too, because you don't Have any braids or anything it's just your hair laying down and y'all. I am in love with these tape pens. I don't want to take them out whatsoever. It just feels like it's, my hair but Fuller, and I can put the hair up. I can put the hair down. I can do different parts, I can do a side, part middle part ponytail. I can do anything that I want to do with this hair and that's why I'm just so in love with this install and these tape ends. I will for sure for sure be getting more tapings and I probably will reuse these same ones, because you know tapings are reusable if you guys did not know that so yeah y'all, I'm just in love like y'all, will see the finished product it just turned out. So beautiful the hair matched so well to my hair, and I just don't know what else to say: it's just gorgeous also y'all. I want to add in there that you can also wear these tapings curly or straight, in which I chose to wear it straight. I will probably post it on my story whenever I do end up wetting the hair, and I just know that it's going to match my natural hair so beautifully, because the curl pattern on this word straightened out is just gorgeous and it's super similar to my actual Hair texture, so I'm so excited for that. Also I want to tell you guys they did send me the hair already colored. I got a number eight, but I don't see it as an option on their website, so I'm gon na ask them about how you know if you do have colored treated hair, how to match your tapings on their website. I will ask them that, but for now I know that you can um dye the hair if you need to to match it to your hair. I just can't believe I actually have extensions that matches my hair texture and my hair color, like it is unbelievable. Oh, I need you. I'Ve been waiting. My whole life by someone like you can just find someone yeah yeah foreign, find someone like you know. I know foreign foreign, hey, hey, look, I don't know so written all over their face face. But what go to the drink? S, foreign, okay, so on to styling um, she turned up the hair a little bit and she also gave me some body curls. That'S what I asked for um. So if you guys don't know what the type of curls that I got, which you guys can see in the end, that's what those are called. If you want that, look just ask for body curls and while we're on the topic, I just want to say: um 10 out of 10 recommend Grand hair studios. I felt like I was such in a professional environment. When I got there, I did not have to wait, it was so calming everything was clean. It was just such a good environment to get your hair done in and they are located in Atlanta Georgia. So if you guys are in the area, I like, I said, recommend you guys go there. I would have all their information in my description box as well, and my hair came out exactly how I wanted it to did everything that I asked, and it was just so cool.
