crocheting socks

easy crochet socks

Will this method be your new favorite way of crocheting socks? Let'S find out hi there welcome back to another video. This is Bruna and today I'm going to show you how to crochet a pelf socks, but in a different way. So this method is seeing I've seen this already done with knitting, but never with crochet. So this is going to be a challenge and this is so fun because you will not need a lot of measurements. I'M going to show you on my foot how this is done so trigger warning. You will see some foot footage in today's video for this project. I am using a wait for DK yarn. This one is the bravismo 50 by tesson.com. You know that I love this yarn so so much and I am using in the shades, caramel, copper and green. So I'm going to be leaving everything that I'm using in the description so feel free to check it out and then for the tools. I'M using a four millimeters crochet hook, a small pep scissors tapestry needle, so that we can do the sewings and the weave-ins tape measure so that we can measure every single detail of this flat sock pattern. And then, lastly, I'm probably going to be using a couple of Stitch markers, I'm not sure, but just throwing it here, just maybe if I'm going to be using or not so this is everything I wanted to mention here at the beginning. So now, let's begin grab some coffee, some tea juice, water, your yarn, your hook and let's begin for crocheting this pair of socks. So the first shade I'm using will be the copper - and this very first part that we are doing now. It'S for the hill. So first I'm going to be starting with a slip notch and then I'm going to be chaining three, because I'm doing the base here, the foundation row with a half double crochet Foundation row and to do that you're going to be wrapping the yarn around the hook. You'Re going to go into that very first chain make sure that you get two Loops of that chain just like this, then you're going to be pulling up a loop into that chain. Now you can yarn over and pull through the first Loop, and you want to make sure that you keep this in mind, because we are going to be returning into this Stitch when we create the next half double crochet. If you want, you can place a stitch marker into this bottom Stitch just so you know that this is the Stitch you are going to get just if you're a beginner, if you've never done this before now, you're going to be yarning over and pulling through. All the loops to complete your half double crochet, so you see that bottom Stitch is the one that you want to get to create the following: half double crochet, so you're going to be wrapping the yarn around the hook. We can now remove the stitch marker and then you're going to go through that Stitch, but make sure that you get two Loops of that Stitch. There is another one here of the at the back, as you can see so make sure that you get two Loops of that Stitch right at the bottom and then you're going to pull up a loop now you're going to yarn over and pull through the first One keeping the last one on the hook, so this is the one that we are going to get afterwards. Now you can yarn over and pull through all three, and this is what you're going to be repeating until you have the sizing that you need. You can see that I'm getting two Loops at the bottom, pulling up a loop yarn over pull through the first one yarn over and pull through three. So I am doing here: 16 half double crochets in total and the chain three that we have here at the beginning. It'S going to count as a stitch as well. So once I have my 16 half double crochets, I will be back and then I'm going to show you exactly how you're going to be measuring this around your foot and for this pattern we don't have a stitch count, so any number is going to work and As you can see, I am wearing my very first sock tutorial if you want to make this one, it's super cute as well I'm going to be linking in the description below, so we are going to be measuring into the widest part of our foot. For me, it's from this bone to the other side. So, basically, just after our toes so you're gon na get the row that you just did and then you want to make sure that it goes from one side to the other side. You don't want to stretch it out too much just stretch it out a tiny bit just so that it fits comfortably around the widest part of your foot and by doing the very base fitting the widest part of the foot is going to make the entire sock Follow that - and this is going to make it fit your foot perfectly, so we are going to be doing one row of half double crochets all the way down, so we are going to be having 16 half double crochets and to go up you're going to be Chaining one turning project and I already prepare for half double crochet because I'm already used to so that's what I do and then I'm going to half double crochet into the very first Stitch. So we are not counting the chain, one as a stitch and then you're gon na go down with half double crochets and you want to make sure they have the same amount of half double crochets as the first row. So I have 16 half double crochets. So I'm also going to be having 16 half double crochets for this next row and then I'm going to get that chain three as well. There we go so now we are going to be decreasing at the beginning and at the end into rows. Three four and five so the next three and to decrease you're going to chain one turn project and then you're going to be skipping, the very first Stitch and then half double crochet into the following Stitch. So this is the first decrease and now you're going to half double crochet all the way to the other side. Until you have two stitches left, if you want, you can place a stitch marker into the very first half double crochet, because we are not counting the chain one as a stitch. So, as you can see, I have two stitches left and what I like to do to decrease with a half double crochets, a little bit different than the standard way or you can also skip the next stitch in half double crochet into the following one. If you are beginner just to start with, otherwise you can do what I'm going to be doing now, so wrap the yarn around the hook, inserting to the following Stitch and then you're going to pull up a loop and now, instead of wrapping the yarn around the Hook, you are going to go into the last Stitch and then you're going to pull up a loop and then you're going to be having four loops on the hook. Now you can yarn over and pull through all the loops. I think the finishing like this looks better than the traditional way, but you can do as you wish and now I'm going to be repeating the third row two more times so chain. One turn skip the very first Stitch, half double crochet into the following one and then half double crochet all the way down until you have two stitches left. So I got here at the end, I'm going to be removing my stitch marker. So now we can decrease at the end, so wrap the yarn around the hook insert into the next Stitch, pull up a loop inserting to the last Stitch, pull up a loop yarn over and pull through, and now I'm going to be repeating the previous Row. One more time, so I'm going to be having five rows here at the beginning. So here I have row number five now completed and you should have if you are following this pattern: 10 stitches here at the top. So for the following row. We are going to be doing just half double crochets all the way down. So following the 10 stitches so chain, one turn and then half double crochet into the first Stitch and then half double crochet. All the way down make sure that you get the very last Stitch. This one is half double crochet number ten, and here we have now row number six completed so now for rows. Seven to nine. We are going to be increasing so to increase. We are going to chain one turn project and then into this very very first Stitch. We are going to be doing two half double crochets into that same Stitch, so you can see, and now we are going to half double crochet all the way down and then into the last Stitch. We are going to increase exactly the same as we did to the beginning, so I got into my last Stitch and into this last Stitch we are going to increase so two half double crochets into the same Stitch, so we have started with 16 and then 14 Stitches 12 stitches, 10 stitches, 10 stitches, and now we are increasing again so 12 stitches. So now we are going to be increasing into the next two rows. So follow exactly the same steps chain, one turn project and then increase into this very first Stitch and then half double crochet all the way down. So when you get into the last Stitch, you can always go back and count to see which one is your last Stitch and then into that we are going to be working. Two half double crochets into the same Stitch: to increase at the end two so 14 stitches now for this next row, row number eight so now for row, number nine! We are going to be increasing exactly the same way that we did the previous one. So here we have row number nine now completed with the increases at the beginning and at the end and now for the following row row number ten: we are going to just half double crochet, all the way down so chain, one turn project and then half double Crochet all the way down into every Stitch. So, as you can see, I'm into my last Stitch and I'm going to be leaving this one as this, because I'm going to be changing it into my next shade for the following row. But now I just want to show you how this section that we have completed looks around my heel, so row six is going to go right into the curve of your hail shows like this, and this is how it's going to look as you can see. It'S perfect so once you have this and if it's perfectly, we are now going to be making the bottom part of our sock so to change into the next shade. You'Re first going to be doing the very first part of a half double crochet and then you're going to be completing this half double crochet width already the next shade. So we can cut off this yarn here that we have attached to the project, because we are not using this one now and I'm going to grab the end of my next shade and complete this half double crochet and what I like to do is just to Make a notch with this two ends here so now here is when we are going to be doing the bottom of our sock and it's basically just half double crochets back and forth until you reach your sock size, I'm doing 15 rows for mine, but depending on The size you will have to do less or more rows, I'm doing 15 because I'm doing a size, 4. so chain, one turn project and half double crochet into the very first Stitch and then half double crochet all the way down. So at the end, just half double crochet into the last Stitch. So just follow the same steps chain, one half double crochet into the first Stitch and then half double crochet all the way down going to my last Stitch, half double crochet into that. So now I have two rows here completed. I have to make 15 rows in total with the caramel shade, so we have 10 at the beginning and then we are going to be having 15 for the sizing of our sock. So I'm done with the 15 rows here with the cream. So now I'm going to show you where it should sit on your foot so place exactly where it's going to go around your heel. Just like that, as you can see and you're going to be, making the rows until it gets to the bottom of your big toe, just like that, it's that simple! So it's just going to be sitting just right after your toes here at the back. So before I complete the last Stitch, I'm going to just cut off a little bit of this yarn, because now I'm changing back into copper, because I'm going to be doing the toes and the Hills with the copper and then I'm going to be changing exactly the Same way that I did into this section here, so the steps that we are going to be doing now for the toes will be quite similar to the hills and we are going to first create rows one to five. So, first I'm going to be doing two rows of half double crochets back and forth. So once I have the two rows completed with the copper, I will be back and then I'll explain what we are going to be doing next. So now here I have rows. 26 and 27 completed so the two rows, with only half double crochets with the copper. So what I'm going to be doing now is repeat the same exact steps that I've done for rows: three: four: five and six right on top of row: 27 that we have here so once I have the next four rows completed following the same steps that we've Done at the beginning that I showed you to you three four, five and six and then I will be back to show you what we are going to be doing for row. Seven, because it's going to be a little bit different. Then what we've done here for the hills? We are going to be doing half double crochets across so no increases or decreases for the following row so chain one turn project and then follow the stitches and half double crochet all the way down there. We go so now make sure that you have the ten stitches so basically the same amount of stitches that you have into the previous row. So I have ten so one, two, three four, five, six, seven, eight, nine ten! So that's perfect! And what I'm going to be doing now is repeating the same exact steps that I did for rows: 7, 8, 9 and 10.. So three rows with increases on both sides and then one row of just half double crochets across. So I'm going to be doing that to the top here then, once I have my next four rows completed following those steps, I will be back and then we are going to be doing the front of the sock just place. Your foot right on top of it and then this it's going to fold just on top of it just like this. It should cover basically your toes just like so, but you can also add - maybe one row more if you want to the beginning and the end into this section at the top. So it's going to be completely up to you, how you want this to look like so now from here. We are going to be changing back into our caramel shade and we are going to repeat the same steps that we've done into this section with 15 rows, and in here you can decide if you want to do. Oh well right here. On top, you can decide if you want to do just one color all over or you can change as many times as you want and kind of do little Stripes. That'S what I did for mine for this other one that I have here. So I've done two rows of caramel two rows of green and then one row of copper and that's the pattern that I've followed all the way up. And that gives me exactly 15 rows. So I'm gon na go ahead and do that because you already know how to you already know how to change: how to go up, how to create the rows and I'm going to be doing just half double crochets back and forth. Changing into this section that I've mentioned to you right now, so once I have this next section completed, I will be back to show you how to make this top section for our ankle. So, as you can see, I have now completed the 15 rows going up, and this is how my shape is looking like before we continue. We have to measure the circumference of our ankle to know exactly the sizing we need. So mine is 23 centimeters, as you can see, and now to calculate how much you need for both sides to add the extension first, you need to measure the previous section. So we have this one so side by side, and that is ten and a half. For me, so let's make a note of that so take the measurement of your ankle. So for me, that's 23 centimeters and then you're going to minus 10.5 centimeters so 10.5. So I have 12.5 centimeters and then you want to get this number and divide it by 2.. So that's 6.25, so we can round it to six and a half or even six centimeters, so I'm going to round it to six centimeters. So for my extension, you worked a chain of eleven and now from here we are going to be turning our project just this way and we are going to be working into the top Loop of the chain. So we have the top Loop and the bottom Loop and the back Loop, so you can choose if you want to work into the back Loop or the top Loop, I'm going to be grabbing here, the top Loops. So I'm going to be skipping that very first chain and then I'm going to go into the next one and then I'm going to half double crochet and then I'm going to half double crochet going down into my chain. So I'm going to be having in total 10 half double crochets, so I'm getting towards the end of the chain so make sure that you cover the very first chain, the very last one in this case and now you're going to be covering all the stitches that You have here into this section, so we are going to be having here. 16 half double crochets, going across the top of this section. So now here we have 26 stitches and now we have to add the 10 half double crochets on this side. So the same amount of half double crochets. You did on this side. You want to do on the other side, so I still have to do my last. Half double crochet and into this Stitch is where we are going to be starting our foundation, half double crochet. To add the extension on this side so complete the last half double crochet and now you're going to be doing the foundation. Half double crochet from here so wrap the yarn around the hook, insert into the same last Stitch pull up a loop yarn over pull through the very first Loop and then now you're, going to have three loops on the hook yarn over and pull through. All three and now here you already have the foundation completed, so we have the bottom Stitch and then the half double crochet so going to the bottom Stitch, pull up a loop yarn over pull through one yarn over pull through three and then you're going to be Repeating the same steps until you have 10 half double crochets, oh well, I have ten half double crochets, but if you have more you're going to be doing the same amount of half double crochets as you have on the other side, and if we measure I have Here exactly 23 centimeters, so once you have the base now completed, we can now just go up and then work our way down with some half double crochets so chain one turn project and then half double crochet into this very first Stitch and then half double crochet. All the way down making sure that you cover all the 36 stitches that you have going across the top. So I'm now here into my last stitch stitch number 36. I'M going to now change into copper, not copper, green green! There we go, I'm going to be cutting the the other shade and then making a notch here. So now from here I am doing two rows of green and then one row of copper. So it's going to look like this and then once I have my five rows completed, I will be back and then we are going to be doing the ribbing together with the caramel shade, so make sure that when you at the end you already change into your Caramel shade so now here we have the extension now completed with the five rows as you can see, and now we are going to be doing the ribbing and you will need a stitch marker for this. If you are a beginner, because this can be quite tricky, so work your seven chains, so one two three four five: six and seven, then we are going to be skipping. The very first chain going to the second single crochet, I'm working into the top Loop of the chain, next one single crochet and then single crochet, all the way down making sure that you have the six single crochets following the chain. So here is my last one and then what you're going to have to do here is to turn your project so that you have the last row here on the reverse. As you can see, and then we are going to be slip stitching into the next two stitches, so the first one slip stitch next one slip stitch now here is where you can use a stitch marker to Mark the next Stitch so that when you come back, You know that you're going to be slip stitching into this Stitch first, so I'm going to be doing this so that you can see exactly what you have to do so now. You have your work this way facing you so two turn. You don't want to turn. Anti-Clockwise in which is this way because it's going to cross the yarn and it's going to be difficult for you to find the next Stitch. So you want to turn clockwise like this and now you'll be able to see your stitches really really nice and well. So we have the two slip stitches here, so we are going to be skipping those and we are going to go into the very first Stitch of the single crochet. You can always go back and count so one two, three, four five and six. So this is the very first single crochet. We are going to be getting the back Loop only to create the ribbing, so we have the front Loop and back Loop, so go into the back Loop and single crochet and then back Loop only and single crochet. All the way up, so you have in total six single crochets, so one two, three four five and six now to go back. All you have to do is to chain one. Now you can turn normally and then you're going to single crochet back Loop only into the very first Stitch and then single crochet back Loop, only all the way down into the six stitches. Now you go into the base again, we are going to slip stitch into the Stitch where we have the stitch marker in which is the following Stitch of the base. We are going to slip stitch into the next two stitches, so skip the one that you did previously go into the following Stitch slip, stitch and then the next Stitch and slip stitch. If you want, you can return the stitch marker into that following Stitch, so that you know that this is the one that you're going to get next so now you're going to be repeating the same steps again so turn your project. So if you do this way, it's going to cross the yarn, so you want to do the opposite way. So this way I'm going to be skipping, the two slip, stitches and then single crochet into the very first one back Loop, only and then single crochet. All the way up following the stitches, so six single crochets now chain, one turn normally well, this way or the other way it's up to you single crochet into that very first Stitch and then single crochet, all the way down into every Stitch back Loop. Only and now you go into the base again so remove the stitch marker and then slip stitch into the next two stitches now add the stitch marker into that following Stitch and then from here you can just repeat again the same steps. So I'm going to continue with my ribbing here and then once some right at the end, I will be back to show you how to finish it off, so I got here at the end as you can see, and I'm going to finish the last two rows Grabbing those two last stitches so just continue following the same steps all the way down. So I'm just going to do the two last rows here. So, as you can see, I got to the bottom, I'm going to slip stitch into the next Stitch and then I'm going to slip stitch into that very very last Stitch. Now I'm going to be turning my project and then I'm just gon na go up with single crochets, so skip those two slip stitches and then back Loop, only single crochet, all the way down and now, when you get here, we can fasten off so chain one You'Re going to be cutting off enough yarn to go if you want all the way down, because I have these little Yarns here, so I'm going to be actually using them to sew each section together. So matching the color of the ends that I have here with the project. So I'm just going to be cutting enough yarn to sew the ribbing so now fasten off, and let me show you how it's looking now so now here we have the ribbing completed and the part that goes around the ankle. It'S now also completed, as you can see, so in total from Top to bottom. I have here 51 centimeters. So once you have your shape now completed, we can now start sewing everything. The first sewing that we are going to be doing will be here at the top, so you want to make sure that you have the reverse of your project. You can see here's my reverse facing the table because we are going to be doing all the sewings on the reverse. So you can see when I fold I have the reverse on the outside, so I'm going to be threading the yarn that I have right. On top here, where we did the fasten off of the ribbing and I'm going to be threading it into a tapestry needle. So let's fold these two together and let's sew the ribbing first go into the very first Stitch on the opposite side. So we have the yarn here on the opposite. Side find the first Stitch sew the two together and now you're just going to match the stitches. So we have one stitch here on this side and then the next Stitch and then sew the two together following a stitch on both sides sew the two together following a stitch on both sides and sew, the two together and then sew all the way down the Ribbing making sure that you cover all the six stitches and now here what I'm going to do is fasten off. So I'm going to go through the last two stitches one more time and then I'm going to go one last time, leaving a little Loop and then going through the loop and pull this nice and tightly fasten off. And now you can weave in this yarn in place, so find a couple of stitches and weave in now I'm going to be cutting off this yarn and then I'm going to be choosing the end of the next shade that I have here. So I have the copper so I'm going to be threading the copper into my tapestry needle and then I'm going to be sewing where I have the copper section, so just grabbing one stitch of one side, one of the other and sewing the two together until this Section where we have the copper is sewned together. So it's that simple, once you are done, you are going to be following the same steps as I did to the ribbing. So I'm going to go into one stitch twice and then the last one we are going to fasten off by going through the loop and now we can weave this yarn in, and this is basically the sewing that I'm going to be doing so. No secrets and the ones that you are not going to be using, for example, this other end that I have here this one you can simply just weave in so I'm going to now just follow the same steps and then I'm going to sew this all the Way down onto this point, so here's the top section now sewn together. This is how it looks here on the other side. So now we have to sew both the toes here and the heel, so we have to fold this one. So I'm going to be starting at the bottom, so I'm going to be folding the heel and then I'm going to be sewing. It close both sides. So I'm going to be using on this side. This yarn that I have here and then on the other side, I'm going to be attaching a new one. So let me show you how to attach a new yarn in place, so you want to get a little bit of yarn thread, this yarn into a tapestry needle. So choose the very first Stitch you can find on this side and then one stitch of the copper section into the other side, and then in here you want to leave a little tail to weave in and then we are going to make a knot to secure This yarn in place so now from here you can just grab some stitches and sew. The two sides together so grab one stitch on this side, one on the other sew the two together and then follow the same steps all the way down. So once you are done, go through the last Stitch twice and then the last one you go into fasten off and then you can just weave this yarn in so this side is completed. As you can see. This is how the sewing looks and now I'm going to be sewing this other side, so I have the hair now completed. This is how it looks like, and now we are going to be folding the entire sock just like this, so you can see it already forming. Look at it. Oh, my goodness, we have to do the same steps that we did here for the hill to the toes foreign. This is how it looks like, and now we have to fold this together, just like this and we're going to be sewing the bottom with the top. So I'm just going to be matching the colors and I'm going to be sewing the two parts together, so the top and the bottom just here and here so here I have this side sewn together, I'm going to turn here so you can see, and now I'm Going to sew this other side and just leave the back to sew with the heels here, so this is how it's going to look. It'S nearly finished, so, as you can see, I have both sides sewed together. This is how it looks like and now the last step that we have to do is to sew the hill with the ankle here. So I'm going to be attaching my yarn here and then sew all the way to the other side, and here we have 20 stitches and here on this other side into the hill, we have 16. So just skip four stitches on the ankle side here, just so that it fits all the stitches in place. Attaching this yarn in place, so I'm going to be matching the stitches, so one stitch of the hill and one of the ankle and sewing the two together. One of the hail one of the ankle and sew it together and then, when you have to skip one stitch of the ankle here, we have to skip four in total. You are going to go into the same Stitch that you did. Lastly, here for the heel - and then you're gon na go into the next Stitch of the ankle, so it's going to be one stitch that is going to be used for two stitches of the other side. So that's basically going to decrease the sewing. Now we can continue so now continue with the sewing and Skip as many stitches as you need to skip from one of the sides just to make both of them fit together. When you sewing once you've done with the sewing, we can now fasten off this yarn. So I'm going to fasten off and now we can weave in so now the sewing is now completed. You have something like this, and now we just have to turn inside out and our sock is now complete, complete. Oh, my goodness, I cannot believe. Oh my God. It'S just so perfect. It looks amazing, I'm so impressed I'm going to have to sew the other shape that I have into a sock and then once I have both of them completed, I will be back and then we are going to try it on together. For the first time, all right - I have finished now so in the other pair, and this is how it looks it looks so cute, like the other one. I was so so impressed when I finished sewing that shape into this one. Now I'm like extra excited because I'm going to get to try this one with you guys, let's go and try this on together. I don't want to keep you waiting any longer, so let's go and let's try the first one together, no way no way what what this is perfect. Look at this. I think we just made the perfect pair of socks ever this fits perfectly. I am completely in love with them. Oh my goodness, it's the perfect fitting. I love socks like this. It'S so comfortable, so so comfy it turned out better than I expected like a thousand times better. I love how this turned out. What do you think? Let me know in the comments, if you liked today's video, if you like how it turned out and also let me know if you are going to be making one too and what colors are you going to be using because I've decided to make with my favorite Colors, I can already see this with like a fluffy yarn, also in one color as well. That'S going to look amazing and it fits perfect as well. I love how it looks on my foot, so the timing that I took to make this was for one two hours and a half so maximum maximum. You will take five hours to make both of them. So it's a pretty pretty quick tutorial, also perfect for gifting, because it's super super fast to make and for one pair I have used 28 grams of yarn of the bravissimo 50 yarn, also full size. Five and six you're, probably gon na, still be able to use the 100 grams Mark like one skein, but then for bigger sizes. Then you're, probably gon na, have to check it out I'll leave all the calculation in the description so feel free to check it out. So now I'm going to finish my day, enjoying this beautiful pair of socks, I'm going to put it on and walk around the house, I'm going to make a tea now and I'm going to watch a movie wearing my new pair of socks. I love it. So, thank you so so much everyone for watching today's video. I really hope you have enjoyed and if you did don't forget, to leave your massive thumbs up and also don't forget to subscribe to the channel so that you can watch more tutorials just like this one. So, thank you again for watching and I'll see you in my next video bye-bye. Thank you.

Brunaticality: Hello friends! I hope you enjoy crocheting with me this super easy pair of socks! It's the perfect gift, especially now that Christmas is around the corner! What should I crochet next for the holidays, any crochet gift ideas I could make and that you want to learn? Let me know in the comments below!

Tracy Pardue: Finally a pattern/tutorial for crochet socks that look like wearable socks! I love it.

Shelby Coggans: You have blown my mind!!!!! Best pattern/tutorial I’ve seen in a hot minute. Thanks for doing this before the holidays!!! You are awesome ❤

Samantha McMinn: Girrrrrrl, so I am now a subscriber! Not only was this pattern flawless but you're one of the very few people that I can actually watch crochet without getting a headache! So many others just do not hold steady but you do and it makes it easier to see what you're doing. Thank you so much for this video!

Gaia's Guardian: My grandmother caught me one day using this flat pattern as a cloth diaper on my baby doll. I never really understood how it became a sock till now, even though I watched it happen right in front of me. It was just magic at the time.

justmoosethings: This is an amazing tutorial. I just finished crocheting the first sock! I had to make mine slightly larger, but it was still so easy to follow along. Hopefully later this week, I’ll have a completed pair.

Liva Hald: I’ve never even considered crocheting socks but after this I just HAVE to try!! :] the tutorial looks super easy and nice to follow so I’ll update this comment once I’ve tried making a pair ❤

Bluna Luna: I'm blown away, I've been crocheting for so many years and this is the first time I've crocheted socks using this pattern. It works great. Thanks for showing

bee :): I was trying to make socks for my cousin, but the pattern I was using was so time consuming! I'm crocheting over 40 Christmas gifts and did not have the time or patience to spend DAYS on a lot of socks, I saved so much time with this pattern and I'm sure she's going to love them!

Luminal Saturn2: This pattern has been translated from knitting into crochet… I may translate it again into naalbinding! I don’t know how to do naalbound ribbing, though… Might have to omit that bit lol; just do the larger top bit in a slightly different stitch. Thanks for the pattern! It lookes like it *won’t* actually break my brain like regular sock-stitching; and be more fitted than the ‘tube-sock’ method!

Brenda Cooper: Thank you! I am new to your channel. So happy I found you. You are a great teacher. I’m 70 and this is the best sock ever. I love the way you explain everything! ❤️❤️

Mikaela Hamilton: So I have been looking for an easy crochet sock tutorial since my boyfriend has been wanting some, found you on tiktok by chance. I followed along with a trial run pair for me and I couldn’t resist trying it on after finishing the first sock. I had the exact same gasp reaction! It snaps onto the heel in such a perfect and comfortable fit! I was worried it’d be too big looking at it but it’s perfect! Now I have to go and do the second one

T Morabney: I love it and I really appreciate your entire presentation. It was close enough to see and explained well to understand. WONDERFULLY PRESENTED AND TAUGHT! ❤️

Brenda German: I am in awe! Total game changer! Thank you so much! ❤

Snickie: Hello! I saw this, put it on my watch later list for a few days, and now, in a fit of procrastination, I have given in to my sock fever and started one of these! I'm using an old skein of Red Heart Supersaver in some purple-y variegated color (I don't have the label anymore) and I'm using a 4.25 mm hook. I have narrow feet so I started off with twelve stitches but realized after the toe box area that that was going to be too narrow for my feet so I had to frog all of it and try again with 13 stitches to start. I'm a little worried that will also be too narrow but 14 seems like it'd be too wide. Guess I'll find out when I'm stitching the top side!

Patricia Dorwin: Love these. Something new to crochet. Very well done tutorial.

Terracotta NeemTree: I had a pattern for mittens like that - all one piece. Though I need to use compression socks for my legs, Those will be great to wear over at home.

Ayesha Figueroa: Hi! I absolutely love this tutorial, than you so much!! I have a question: if I use a thinner yarn (superfine yarn, for example), is it the same method? I mean the same amount of decreases/increases. Or do i need to add more decreases.

Mercedes Mansion SUV Life: OMG!!!! I LOVE THEM!!! Definitely making these! Thank you so much!

missmayflower: What a brilliant tutorial! I love how they’re custom fitted.

Linda Noel-Duquesnel: I love this! It's soooooo much easier than the other way to make socks. I have a question, which is probably a...duh, obviously...question, but, if I wanted to make them longer to go up my leg, would I just extend the 'top of the foot' section with more rows? If so, how would the back be done, because we're attaching the 'heel' to the 'ribbing/ankle' part, wouldn't there have to be something there to attach the heel to? These are super cute and you did a wonderful job explaining it all!

Dawn Baker: Your tutorial is so easy to follow. Nicely done. I have looked for a crocheted sock pattern for so long. Thank you.

DEBORAH WORTHAM: Wonderful pattern! Already hit my stash for color combos to make a pair tomorrow. This is a hit - subscribed to find more ideas from your other videos. Thanks from north Texas USA

Christina Crochets: I love them. I like the idea of using them as house slippers. Thanks Bruna :)

RocqueGB: You have a great idea that I must try! Your socks look great!

Clara Andriessen: Very nice hack! Thanks! And if you crochet with real wool, you can even chose to crochet the parts with extra wear and tear, like heels and ball of the feet, with stronger yarn so they will last longer. ( Because while real wool is the nicest to wear, it tends to get holes in those parts quite fast and in this way it should be easy to adjust.)

Elli5κ Preka: Μπραβο τελειο για στα χερια σας

khadija Nair dias: Cheguei amei dei LIKE e inscrevi parabéns ‍♀️

The mampack: ABSOLUTELY A M A Z I N G !!! Such a grear job, I LOVED the video, and I LOVE the pattern!! Thank youuu! ~Angi>
