Hello welcome back to my channel if you're new, here, I'm Imani and if you're not then welcome back, make sure you hit that subscribe button. Today, I'm going to show you my new clip in so I've always worn like a sew-in or clip-ins or something of that sort. I usually keep my hair kind of straightened for the most part, and I decided I wanted to like, invest in some good clip-ins and just use clip-ins for the fall winter, especially since it's not as hot. So I'm not sweating. My hair out constantly over and over again um. So I was like. Let me get some clippings and some good ones this time, because sometimes I just go to the beauty, supply house and grab some clip-ins that are cheaper um. But then they don't last as long or I get over them, but I was like. Let me get some good ones. Also, there's a lot going on a dog is barking. Alex is playing music, there's construction, so I hope you even hear what I'm even saying um. So excuse all of that I wanted to do a little unboxing with you guys and also part of this video, I'm going to show you I'm going to put my clip-ins in and then also curl it, because I really want to do a blowout look like that's. My Vibe for this season, I want to look like I don't know what you what year is that like 70s 80s blowout, so I'm gon na go, get some rollers and like the velcro rollers and like the clip and everything, and just I tipped it just to See what it's gon na look like, but I want just a feathery thick. I don't know it just I don't know, you'll see what I'm talking about anyway. This is how the Box comes right here, curls Queen, and it says to be fresh, gifted female in Black. Okay, this brand is catered to African-American black women's hair, so it matches our texture um, which is really cool, because obviously a lot of the equipments that are on the market are not for black women in our hair texture I usually would wear like Brazilian and because I have had relaxed hair and I do it is straightened a lot, so it's conditioned to be straight um. It Blends. Okay, with you, know, Brazilian Indian Malaysian all those other types of hair, but this hair is actually light. Yaki, which is supposed to resemble, I would say, black hair that, like I said, has been relaxed before or black hair. That is straightened. So, if you're looking for something like that, that's not Brazilian but has a little bit more texture. Then it's just the way to go so first, it comes with this cute little goodie bag. It came with a brush which was like perfect because I feel like I've always wanted one of these kind of brushes. Oh yeah, it's a good brush. I also have this Bonnet, you know we need a bun it, because, if you're, trying to protect your clip-ins or if you're, going to sleep in them or just protect your hair in general, like a silk Bonnet or a silk pillowcase is a must, I think that's For everyone, I think, honestly, everyone should wear, have a silk pillowcase when they go to bed um, but especially as a black book. Okay - and here are the goods, here's the bag, yay cute, okay, let's open it. Oh, it also came with um a card. A thank you note very cute, and then it looks like some sort of instructions. Perfect, oh I'll, even read this to you, it says curls Queen is curls. Queen is the leading manufacturer who carries a range of human hair, clip-ins extensions and different textures from Yaki. To course and curl patterns from 3A to 4C, which mimics black natural hair to match your texture. So no matter where you are on the texture Spectrum, we've got you've covered so perfect, all right. So let's get these out so, like I said, I got the light. Yaki you, first of all, you can just already tell the quality of the hair like it's thick. All the way like this is thick. I think it comes with like 10 clips yeah, because it's gon na match. Well, oh my gosh, yes, okay! This is like running. Look at running my hands through it, no shedding literally no shedding, I'm sure it will shed over time. Obviously it's hair uh, but like it's amazing, but look how thick it is the whole all right. I took one apart. Okay, this one is probably the what this is the four clip one so one of the biggest ones, and that is what the weft looks like. It seems sturdy. You see the texture like that's how it's mimicking. Like my hair texture thickness, I think it's 250 or 30 grams, so that's like pretty thick for clip-ins. My hair is not the most perfectly straight straightened right now, because this is actually like a couple weeks old from last time. I got a straight end and washed. If I'm being honest so so it's kind of gunky a little bit um, so I don't think it's gon na be the most beautiful blend this time. I do it, but I do want to still try them and see so I'm gon na go put these in. I feel like I'm not gon na, be able to do it on camera, so I'm just gon na come back and they're gon na be in my head. Okay, we are back and the clip-ins are in and I think it looks so freaking good like, like. I said my hair is very, very dirty like weeks old. If I'm being honest, I have not washed it in a couple weeks. Um um and it is my hair - is heavy because it has so much gunk in it. Basically, so it's not even blending the best way possible like when I get my hair freshly straightened or even like just a week old. It is like pretty old, but it's still blending so beautifully and it's so thick like this is 20 inches. I think I just said that, and the clips came in there was like a couple: five clip ones like the crown of your head. There'S a couple four Clips, um four two clips for all in here and then like a few three clip ones, but it was a definitely enough um. Definitely enough clips for your whole head. I have, I think, a pretty big head and a lot of hair like it's really thick. So I think if you have thinner hair or your hair is just smaller. This is definitely more than enough um. It fit me so I'm pretty sure it'll fit you, but this is what it looks like in now. I'M gon na go to the store and go get velcro um roller, so I want to curl it and then put it in velcro roller. So I want to attempt that blowout look like I said um, so I'm gon na go. Do that and then I'll try to do that on camera, so you can kind of see, but I'm also learning how to do it too. So we can just do it together and be beginners, but um yeah. I want to go see what that looks like, but this is what it looks like just I just put it in. I didn't do anything to it. It'S just like that's what it looks like when it's in I'm back from the store I went to Walgreens. I just got this 31 piece roller set. You actually could get this somewhere cheaper, like a beauty, supply house or a store. That'S meant for hair products um, but I didn't like driving over there and plus I had to get some Taco Bell, which is down the street, so I was like I'm just gon na go to Walgreens and okay. I'Ve actually never done this before, but it's the velcro ones and as you can see, they're in different sizes. So it's a good little set, I feel like, but you're supposed to like roll them up, and then I got these pins here, because people roll it up and they pin it together like pin it. I don't really know what I'm being honest. I don't really know what I'm doing, I'm just trying it for the first time, I'm probably gon na have to go on my phone and look at a video before I start. I know for a fact: you curl it first, so I'm going to use my wand to curl it and then I'll like roll it up. I just don't know if I do it front or back, but either way, I'm going to take you guys with me and we're gon na figure it out dry and then I'll apply heat protectant. So it seems like it's simple. Okay, I'm gon na start with this chunk here watching movies. I don't know I feel like that was very oh wait. Okay, I got two in this is actually hard like it's definitely something I'm gon na have to keep practicing. Everyone on the internet makes it seem like it's hella easy, but it's not I'm rolling up. I think I'll, try rolling under another time, I'm just not really sure what the best option is here. See me this is so hard. This is a really like I. This is hard like do not let people fool you to think it's a piece of cake like it's definitely something I'm gon na have to keep practicing um, because I really wanted to you know, work out and be my thing. So luckily I am going somewhere tonight. Um for Thanksgiving, which obviously I wanted to look nice but like if it doesn't look bomb. It'S fine they're, like they're, my best friend, so it's not that serious, but I want to keep practicing so I can actually wear it. Yay! Okay. I finished it all. I don't know what it's gon na look like. I'M gon na go spray, some hairspray on it and then put my Bonnet on and then I don't have to start getting dressed to like seven. So I'm gon na keep this out. Keep this on for some hours and then go see what happens so see you in a bit: okay, the rollers have been in my head for some hours now and I'm about to head to my friends, giving so we're gon na, take them out and see what It looks like I'm a little bit nervous because if it doesn't look good, it just doesn't look good. Luckily, I have my curler right here, so if it needs to be curled, then it's on and ready to fix it. Okay, let's start in the back: okay, okay. Okay, I'm gon na trust the process like it's kind of getting frizzy, but I guess we're gon na trust the process. Okay, wait! You can see how it's kind of giving like. Obviously it can get be. Obviously it can be better, but it's my first time and like I said before, my hair is really dirty, and so it's not going to be at the best anyway and I'm sure like this, one is really pretty foreign. Okay. Last one: okay, okay, wait! Something like this eats like, I haven't, even touched it and it's just giving body. Okay, so do I just use my fingers or, like you know, it's not bad like it. Definitely I would want more curls to it and I think that's just a matter of one cleaner, hair and two knowing how to do them tighter, but you can see how much volume like it was straight at first and now, it's like looks like a lion all Right so overall, I could see how it gives you a blowout look because it just looks so fluffy but, like I said, I want to try it again with cleaner hair and just getting better at knowing how to roll it and maybe rolling it under next time. Just to see what that looks like, but I'm definitely gon na, keep practicing and keep you guys updated on what it looks like, but so far I like it for day one and like trying my best um but yeah. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you so much for watching this video make sure you hit that subscribe button and I'll see you next time.
