Tape Ins On Short Hair | Betterlength Hair

Yaki tape bins? 20 inches two bundles in the natural color that comes with two bundles and both of those bundles are 20 pieces. Each. So in total, you'll have two packs four bundles 80 pieces. Yeah she's really got another relaxer, and then I was just you know, but we're gon na we're gon na get it right. We'Re gon na get the friend right, so yeah we're just gon na color. So this is her hair after being freshly dyed jet black uh protein treatment, deep condition, pressed all that, as you can see, my friend damaged her hair, real bad, and I just want to let y'all know I'm not responsible for the damage she did this on her Own I had her hair, good and healthy. She just went and just started doing so much and just started messing up all my good growth I had going on for her hair, but it's okay cause we're gon na get it back right and I'm also sure y'all. Today that, even though your hair may be not ideal for tapings, you still can achieve this style. So all that that I have cooked away is her leave that leave out. I had to leave out a lot due to her damage and now we're just gon na drop down our first section and, as you can see, it's real short, but we could definitely still put a tape in on top of that. So now I'm just going to start with my regular taping process, so just watch you want to First peel the sticker off the tape in and place it directly on top of her hair, making sure you leave a little bit room from the scalp, don't place it Directly directly on the scalp, but as close as you can get it with leaving it enough room for it to be able to flip up, then you want to flip it up. Take a rat tail comb pour down all the hairs that are not on the tape. Take your other tape and just put that right on top of it make a sandwich. So it's like two tapes per hair in between and then you can press it with your fingers like I just did, or you can also use your taping tool or a cold flat iron to secure it and boom it's locked in, and I also want to talk A little bit about this texture, this is a light, yucky texture, so it's straight hair, but it's not silky straight. It has a little bit of Kink a little bit of texture to it. Not super kinky like kinky straight uh, like in the last, but the video before this that I did um but um. It definitely has some texture to it and it Blends there really great with like natural blown out, hair or relaxed hair, because you know, even when you relax your hair, you still can see like the kink in it. It'S perfect for those who still have texture in their hair after they straighten it, and it just gives a Flawless blend like even when I was doing her tape and she was like dang, like this really Blends in with my hair very well, and they definitely do So now I'm just continuing with my install on my second row. Y'All already know the process is so it's so simple and easy. Just put it on the hair flip: it up, pull the extra hair down, put another tape on top and then boom you're done, and we just gon na keep going with the same motion and for those of you all who are going to ask yes, I did Color, these tape ends jet black, using my just five uh jet black permanent hair dye, and all I did was just wash them with uh done dish detergent and then condition them with silicone mixed bamboo foreign. I don't want to die. Thank you. Foreign foreign foreign, foreign foreign, looking for me and as you can see, this is her hair after I've installed a few rows. As you can see it's full already. She can still do her ponytail. You know you can't see any tapes you're not really finessing. This install and I didn't tell y'all, but I'm kind of doing her install a little different today, um, I'm not really more so worried about you seeing the tapes in the back as much because we're not going to be doing any half of half down um stops With this install, so I'm taking those tapings up pretty far to the top, I am going to leave a little bit of leave out at the top just to make sure it covers it when she does part her hair but um. My focus today is just really just doing a basic taping install we're not trying to do the maximum versatility. So today you will see that I'm only doing this install for her to have a middle part and be able to put it in a full ponytail. We'Re not doing the half of half down we're, not doing the double side parts and all that we just doing the middle part in a ponytail. So you may see that my technique is a little bit different like the placement, but it's still relatively the same. Just pay attention and you'll see exactly what I'm doing baby baby. I just want to show y'all how fat this install is, and these are all the tapes and, as you can see, all her leave out in the back and that's the little bit of Levi at the top um. You still have to leave out some leave out at the top because, when you part your hair you're, just covering in the front when you put your hair in the front you're just covering the hair on the sides, but you also need hair to cover it. In the back, you know as if it was a sew-in as well, so I left a little bit out at the top um just hot comb that right on down and I sprayed some um hairspray on it too, because you know her hair is short. So we have a lot of flyaways, but once I spray that hairspray on it, you can really tell like this hair Blends in perfectly with her hair, even though it's damaged and is short, you know we still finish this install and I had got a comment on My last Ginger type ass video that y'all wanted to see how I do tapings on short hair. Well, unfortunately, but fortunately my friend broke her hair off, so it's short now, so you could definitely see like how to do the process. So we've already did the other side off camera. Now, it's time to do the front, I'm just sectioning out her leave out in a diagonal and a diagonal uh. You got to leave out enough to cover the tape ends. I know it may be a lot to some of y'all like, oh, my God. That'S a lot of leave out, but you have to the main thing about tape is, is ensuring that you can pull your hat in a ponytail and not see any tapes. So I separate out the Levi out for her to be able to pull her out in a ponytail and now I'm separating Levi out for her to cover her hair once it's in the middle part. Once I get that out the way we're in love with this triangle section and we're going to make diagonal parts and we're going to lay our tape ends going diagonally forward and you'll see that in just a few moments. We'Re gon na part like that in a diagonal and we're going to lay our tapes the exact way our part is and they're going to fall forward. Naturally, and that's what's going to give you that ultimate fullness in the front foreign there's a holiday me and my people always begins, thank you back in the store. If you want it, they set it up. You don't if I'm in the clubs, even on my mind time, is that too close too many shows don't listen to fight every other night and now we're about to do our last tape in at the top, and as you can see, this hair is already full. I really enjoyed these better length, uh light Yaki straight tapings like so perfect um. I, like the kinky straight tapings that I just did. I did not press these out before I curled them. I wanted to keep the fullness, especially being in my friend's hair. It'S a little thin, so I wanted her to have the maximum fullness as possible, which is what she wanted um. So I didn't press them out. I just literally just blow dried them and you know cut and curl. That'S all, and, as you can see, this is the final product of the taper install. You will not be able to tell my friend has a short bob underneath this. I really did my big one, and this hair was so soft. Look at that Flawless blend Flawless blend absolutely, and this is the hair in a quick little ponytail. You know when you try to make it like all kind of stuff, but I just want to let you know like, even though I have a short, you can stick in a ponytail and I've been just doing our layers. I'M just uh using her front piece is as a guy and I'm just going diagonal downward towards the back and then we're going to start pulling up all the hair at a 90 degree angle and using her hair as the guide and just start. You know slicing downwards um, I don't be explaining that by words sound like a whole bunch of what is he talking about just watching what I'm doing you'll see exactly what I'm doing, love the money: yeah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Yeah and now it's time to curl her up using my 1.25 inch, uh T3 micro single pass, curling iron and after I finish each curl, I'm going to pin it and once I finish each side of curls, I spray with my Sebastian Shaper Plus hairspray and um. After we finish, curling we're going to come back and do a takedown and you're going to see these beautiful. Before and after results. You'Re gon na love it stay tuned.
