She Wanted Thicker Hair So We Put In Textured Tape Ins| Tape Ins That Blend With Natural Hair

Hey guys so today we are doing a re-install of my clients or a new install of tape. Ins on my client here, who is 100 natural um, as you guys, can tell how much she has grown out over an inch, and these are the same tape ins that we installed a couple months ago. It'S been over three months right over three months, so we are going to remove these tape ins and then we are going to shampoo her get her nice and treated, and then we are going to reinstall a textured version of tape ins. So you guys get to come along for the journey. Okay, so we're starting off by removing the previous tapings that we did almost three months ago, so she has been coming in regularly for her maintenance appointments. That is also another reason why she's had such sex with her taping installation and then, of course, we just go ahead and comb out whatever residual adhesive is left on her hair. Now. Another thing i want to make you guys know she is 100 natural. We do still press her in between all of her maintenance appointments or at her maintenance appointments and to remove tapings. It'S really really simple, you spray a little bit of alcohol and it just allows the tapings to slide right out. So the tape ins that we use is a line that i actually carry through elite haircare, usa they're actually really easy to install, but i definitely recommend getting a professional to do so because not everybody understands the installation techniques with tape, ins and a little goes. A very long way, you guys so for today's service we're actually going to be using a little more textured hair on her. This is going to give her a little better blend in regards to the texture. Like i said she is natural, so we just still press her in between the service and, as you guys can tell her grow out, has been really really good and her hair blends either. If the hair is in a straight form or if we are going to be using the kinky one, which is what we're going to be using today, so once we remove all of our tape, ins we'll go ahead and do the shampoo process which for her, of Course we're going to give her a really good scrub and definitely give her hair some good treatment so that we can get her prepared for her next install. So we always start off, of course, saturating the hair really really well with just water. You guys nothing special! Just regular water and then for this service you do want to ensure that you give your hair some really good treatment, so i'm using our elite clarify just to help cleanse her hair and her scalp. This is going to be the beginner shampoo, you guys. So i don't expect this to sud really really well because number one we're removing tape ins that have been in her hair for three months and number two. She is definitely due for some really good scrubbing, so i'm actually creating a cocktail where i'm using a little bit of our elite clarify and our soothe me dry and itchy scalp treatment, which this is the actual collection, we're not using the pre-treatment. This is the actual shampoo, so this is the soothe imbalance. I said soothe me, but it's soothing balance shampoo, which is from my dry itchy collection cocktail with our elite clarified, so this is going to help soothe her scalp. This is going to make her scalp feel really really good, but it's also going to lift any build up that she might have on the scalp and then also help to cleanse her hair as well. This is also a good treatment for those of you that are dealing with things like autoimmune, like high blood pressure, those different things, because our soothing balance also contains zinc so because her hair has been up for quite some time. We'Re going to be doing some strengthening. So today we are using our empress collection, which i decided to start with the amina strengthening shampoo. Now, just because she is natural that doesn't mean that we have to infuse nothing but moisture. You guys. You do want to strengthen the hair, because her hair has been up in those tape, ends for almost three months and we've been doing maintenance in between so she's gotten. Her moisture in so now is definitely the time where you want to start strengthening and getting the hair prepared for you to do your tape and installation, while tapings are definitely easy to do. I definitely recommend, as i said before, going to a professional and going to someone who understands the process of doing tape ins so that you can eliminate having too much shedding or breaking or even the tape ins literally popping off, because you've done a little too too. Less hair or too much hair. So that's definitely a pro tip for you guys now for her conditioning treatment. We are actually going to be doing a color and a conditioning treatment in which we colored her hair black, and then we used the makeda um deep conditioning mask as her deep conditioning treatment. So now that her hair is dry, i'm going ahead and doing the tape and install as you guys can tell i'm silking her at the same time that i'm doing the installation track by track or line by line or even piece by piece. Whatever you want to call it, the reason for this is because you want to ensure that you are not putting too much hair in the head tape. Ins are really supposed to blend with your client's hair and not overpower your client's hair. So by me doing it this way me silking her out and applying the tape ins as i go. That gives me better control of how much hair i'm actually using, and it gives me good placement placement is also very important when you're doing tape ins, because if you place your tape, ins too high or you place them in an area, that's very fragile or you Place them in an area, that's very sparse! You can number one expose the tape. Ins number two you can put too many in and now it's just super bulky and it doesn't look natural or so many other things can happen with this. You guys, and then i'm also one of those people where i'm stickler and making sure that it looks very natural for my client um in this particular one right here. I decided i wanted to try a different way of placing the tape in to see if i'd like this method, of placing the tape in on top first and then placing it on the bottom last. I hated that i would never do this technique number one, because it was just too close to the scalp. So that's something that i definitely will never do and then i also am adamant on making sure that it's not uncomfortable for my client now. If you also notice you guys, i'm doing what we call a? U part, the? U part allows us to get more ground and give it a more natural look for the client. So with the? U part, it allows me to go over her hairline rather than in to her hairline, and the reason why i'm going over the hairline is because, as you guys can clearly see, her hairline is very sparse. It is not going to do her any justice of me applying tape ins to hair - that is already extremely fragile and extremely sparse. So that is another pro tip for those of you who are new to tape, ins and you are wanting to get into adding tape. Ins to your services for your clients, you want to be sure that you are not placing tape ins on very fragile areas, while i'm all for style. For my client, my goal is to also make sure that i'm protecting the integrity of my client's hair. So while i install the tape-ins i'll, let you guys just watch, i'm not going to keep talking in regards to that and it will come back and you guys will be able to see the finish the finished product all of that good stuff. So i want you guys to really get into the fact that this texture is beautiful on her, even though she's natural, even though she has a silk press, because this hair can be soaked out as well, which is what we'll do today. If her hair starts to revert, it'll still have that kinky look to it and it blends really well with her hair. So we did not overpower her hair with the tapens. We are using the ins as an accent. Okay, so that's super important you guys for those of you that are only doing tape, ins for more fullness and slight or density and a little bit of length. This texture is going to be perfect for those of you that are natural and want to be able to enhance your look. So what i'm doing now is just soaking her out, i'm actually using our elite anniversary, one inch titanium iron to do her silk out. This is the iron that a lot of you have at home. It'S definitely also available on our website at elitehaircareusa.com. So the tape in here will also soon be available on our site. You'Ll be able to get it in kinky or in straight for her. We actually. I actually got. I got enough for her to do almost two and a half heads and that's what we call two bales of hair. So she got two bales of hair and we only used one bale of hair and look how full it came out. So two pairs of hair can actually do this installation two times plus some, so that kind of gives you guys an idea of how much hair is used for her. We only use one bail versus two, basically bails go by number, so it's about 40 tapens. So we used about 20 tape ins for this installation, rather than 80 tape ins for this installation. So what i'm doing like i said before, is i'm just soaking out the hair and also blending it with her hair. Now the good thing about the kinky collection is that it still has that textured look to it. So it's not going to be bone straight. You guys it is still going to have that kinkiness to it. Just like natural hair would have so you'll see a slight wave in there. That is perfectly fine. That just gives it even more of a natural look and then, of course, if her hair kind of like waves up, it'll, still look all intact and she'll be able to wear it in its wavy form or in a straight form, but not super straight where it Doesn'T blend with her hair so now we're just basically giving her a nice bump at the ends.
