New Wig: The Most Realistic Wig I Have Ever Tried! | Ilikehair Kinky Edges Wig

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel so for today's video I'm going to be showing you guys, this 13x4 kinky straight HD lace, frontal wig from ilikehair.com, I'm so excited because y'all this wig is Bomb. It might be. My favorite wig that I have ever tried. Two dates: okay, so let's just jump right into this video. The first thing I like to do when I get my wigs is: I just need to put it on my head because I feel, like you know how, like sometimes you got ta try an outfit on. You just need to put the outfit on to just get an idea. That'S how I feel about this wig just about wigs in general, so I'm gon na put the wig on and just brush it back and do y'all see the baby hairs, the baby hairs. Okay, you cannot tell me that this does not look like my natural hairline like I have never tried a wig that had a kinky straight like hairline texture, I'm so freaking hyped. This wig was bomb okay, it's my favorite wig to date, not even gon na lie to you, so I'm gon na go in and cut my ear tabs off and if you don't know, if you're new to wearing wigs, you want to cut the ear tabs because You'Re just customizing the wig, even though the wig might say that it's customized and bleached and plucked and all that stuff. Sometimes you still have to go in and customize it yourself to fit your own head and like your own specifications. So I'm gon na go in and just cut my ear tabs off, and this is just going to ensure that the wig lays flat and sits right on top of my ear versus sitting over. You see all that extra little lace right there yeah go ahead and get rid of that go ahead and take all of that out. We don't we don't want that. Okay, so this is what I'm talking about. You see how it just fits right over my ear and it just looks perfect. It just looks like that's where it goes. It belongs to my hair, like y'all, when I tell y'all this wig, I'm so freaking obsessed with this wig, just the hairline in general. So once I have cut both of the ear tabs off now, I'm just trying to get a general idea of where I want the wig to lay and I'm trying to just you know, get a feel for the hairline and do a little bit of customizing um. Now I will say this: wig is a little big and I did have quite a bit of trouble, laying this wig down and I'll. Explain to you guys why? So because this wig is too big for my head, my lace kept bunching up. I reapplied this wig like five different times using all different kinds of products, just because I just wanted to see why it wasn't working. I thought it was the products that I was using but turns out it's the fact that the wig is too big. So if you guys are unaware, if your wig is too big, especially if it's a lace frontal, it will Bunch up, because obviously it's too big. So what I did is, I just went in with with some really really extreme hair spray. Like a string hold hairspray and I worked in sections - I let the hairspray dry down until it was about 75 tacky but still wet, and then I'm just going to take my rat tail comb and just press it into the hairline. And you want to do this because you want it to melt perfectly, you want it just like you want it to just like melt. You know what I'm saying like you want the lace to melt into your skin, to where you don't see the little Checker boxes. Okay, so I'm just going in and right here you can see that it was literally perfect. There was no bunching, there was no scrunching. There was absolutely nothing, it was perfect, but once I got to the other side, I had a little bit of trouble. So I'm just gon na go in with my comb and just lay this down and once I'm done, laying that down, I'm gon na come back and we're gon na move on to the next step, foreign foreign. So once I have everything on I'm going to go in and just put on an elastic band, you see how it's bunching, that's because the wig is too big, but I still wanted to try it and still wanted to attempt to make this wig fit. And just you know, use what you got to get what you want baby you got to make it do what it do. So I just went in and just put that on and then I just let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes. The longer you let it sit, the better the outcome will be. So that's what I did, and this is what we are looking like. As you can see, it doesn't look bad, but I would have preferred to have a wig that fit better, because I really can't necessarily even wear this wig because it just bunches up. You know what I'm saying so. Keep that in mind. If you are ordering wigs from ilikehair.com or just any wig in general, just make sure that you are getting a wig that matches your head shape. So now that I like the way the wig is sitting, I'm gon na go ahead and cut off the rest of the lace. Now, when you're cutting off your lace, you want to make sure that you are using something Jagged, something that's not going to give you a straight across cut, because if you use like just some red regular scissors or just like a straight razor or something like that, You'Re going to get a straight across cut and then you're going to be able to see where the lace stops and starts and the point of wearing wigs is you don't want nobody to see a lace? You want to make sure it's undetectable. You want to make sure that can't nobody see it and the best way to get that result is to use something Jagged or to use like um like the razor that I'm using an eyebrow razor or a face razor whatever you use it for so yeah. That'S what I'm doing and then I'm just taking my hairspray and the back of my comb and just land down those extra little flaps that didn't get laid down the first time, and this is a super, simple and easy process. I feel like anybody can do this. Anybody can follow this, it's so simple and the thing that I love most about this wig is: I love the fact that it is a kinky straight textured, edges, HD, lace, front wig, so basically it's a revolutionary Innovative product, unlike the traditional you know like wigs and Stuff, like that, um that t that basically just tend to leave some obvious, like lace marks on the hairline, or you know that you can see it and anything like that. This one is nothing like that. It'S a kinky texture with edges, so basically it eliminates um like you having to do any extra baby hairs and doing all of that. Like y'all. When I tell y'all, I just threw this wig on and go it's so perfect. It it's seamless, it's natural! It matches! My texture and girl I had this wig on and my mama was standing up close to me and didn't even look twice. Okay. She didn't even know that this was not my hair, because the edges were just perfect, like it literally looked like my hair was just blow dried and then I just curled my hair and just kind of left, my edges alone, and that's what you want to do. So right here, y'all just see me add all of that. Um mousse is basically like a tinted mousse to like darken the hairline huge mistake. I highly do not recommend do not do that. I ended up taking the wig off and like washing it um to get that late to get that color out, because it got way too dark and it darkened the lace to a color that I really was not feeling - and I didn't like it um. It kind of turned it more orange, so once I have the wig on and I'm comfortable with it girl, I'm gon na just go in and curl the hair. When I tell y'all this wig gave me Dominican, blowout, okay, this wig gave me perm, Dominican, blowout style of hair, and I'm absolutely here for it. I didn't do nothing to this hair. I did not cut it. I did not add no layers. It was just perfect. Perfect perfect other than the fact that it was too big. I would I really wish I could get my hands on um this same wig but smaller to fit my head because, oh my God, this wig would be chef's kiss foreign foreign. So once I was done curling my hair, I'm just going to go in with when I tell you a little bit, y'all see that a little bit, the smallest amount possible and I'm gon na use that oil to pull my curls apart. That way, I'm not um making my hair frizzy or anything like that and y'all. Look at this. You cannot tell me that this is not my hair like if it wasn't for the bunching y'all see that bunching. If that bunching was not there, you would not be able to tell me that this was not my hair. Okay, this matches my hair texture so good. I really cannot reiterate if you have been looking for a wig if it's your first time, thinking about purchasing a wig. I highly recommend purchasing this wig because just look at the hairline like you see, I didn't have to do nothing. I didn't have to do no cut in the hairline. I didn't have to use no mousse to Slick it down or curl it to make it go away that I wanted it to go. It was literally just perfect, perfect, like I think that I want to get my hands on more of these wigs, and I think that I like this texture of a wig better because it matches my natural hairline. So much more like. Sometimes you don't want like, like that super bone straight hair, which is you know, like all of the you know, like the super white girl like bone straight hair, like you, don't want that. Sometimes you want to keep the texture, but you just want to wear a wig and that's exactly what this is so along with the hair that they sent me. They also sent me this super cute bag.
