Hey friends, welcome back to putting up the pom poms. We are a mother daughter, youtube channel where we showcase and discuss everything about our natural hair from the way we style and care, as well as giving you hairstyle inspiration that is quick and easy to achieve with minimum effort. Don'T forget to hit that subscribe button and turn on your notifications to catch our weekly videos every saturday and sunday to all of my returning subscribers, hey mama, hey bessie, hey friend, it's nice to see you once again, let's get into today's video about these micro leaks That i received from neowigs all right y'all, so the last time we left off, i had finished putting in these micro links and i had brushed it all out. So i had this big and full afro, but i really wanted to see if we can style it and if there was a versatility to this style. So then, i went back in and washed it once again and this time i decided to try out a twist out instead, because the hair is supposed to match my texture and i'm supposed to be able to pretty much do the same thing that i do with My own natural hair and since i'm very big on doing twist outs on my hair, i decided to try that out. Instead, so i'm just adding a little bit of water and i'm going in with the as i am twist defining cream. I use this twisting cream for all of my twist outs. I love it it's nice and thick, and it adds this nice sheen slash oil to my hair and helps with softening it i'm going in with a wide tooth comb to detangle it, because going in with the brush will definitely pull those micro links out. So what i usually do is kind of like hold it at the base at the root of the hair and then use the comb to kind of detangle it out, and i'm doing a rope twist to get this nice and defined twist out. I am doing my twist a little chunky, so whenever i do chunky twist outs, i make sure that i rope twist, which is pretty much you just twisting the hair, while you're twisting the hair so you're twisting while twisting - and i work my way all the way Down and just twirl it around my fingers on the ends and i'm going to leave it in this twist out for at least two days, because that's how long it took for it to become fully dry. Because i didn't use like a diffuser or blow dryer for helping it to dry out, i just wore the twist to work and about you know it didn't bother me none. So i have finished all the twists and i'm just going in with some black seed. Ladies grow and glow oil, you can purchase this oil through my amazon storefront and i'm just applying this to my scalp and again, i'mma wear these twists for two days until they are completely dry after two days of wearing the twists here they are, and they did Pretty well as far as frizz, i made sure to go to sleep with my bonnet and avoid any like unnecessary humidity, and now i'm just taking out that first one, because i kind of want to see how the definition is going to look. And it looked really good. I was really surprised on how well it was blending. You could barely see my hair blending in with the extension hair, and that is exactly what i love to see. I did go in and make a few more trims and adjustments just clipping off any ends that were kind of like straggling out there and weren't blending in well - and i just took my time in taking these twists out - i didn't go in with any other additional Products - and i just made sure to not fluff it too much because i want that volume, but i don't want it to be like super poofy. So i'm glad i was able to show you guys the versatility of this hair within the few days that i did wear it again. I'Ve washed it i've blow-dried it washed it again that did a flat twist, like i'm pretty sure, there's so much more that you can do with this hair, but there was only so much i could fit into this video but yeah. I really love it. It looks really good. You can't see my highlighted ends because my ends are highlighted, but it looks really good it blends in so naturally, and i love it, y'all can't believe i honestly got this to work like. I cannot believe i got this to work. It looks so much more natural now and yeah. I am excited so yep. This is it for the micro link tutorial, try out micro links like it is a great great substitution for just getting that fullness and length length that you would love to see in your hair, while also having the versatility of being able to style it. In many ways and treat it as your own natural hair, like i'm still caring for my hair, as well as caring for the micro links, so what i do for my hair, i can pretty much do for the micro links. If you do want to check out these micro links that i received from neowigs that this in the description box down below all of the details, are there there's a link there that you can check out all the many uh textures that they have? And there is also a code down below that you can use to save your money as well um and all that will be down below in the description box. Thank you guys for joining us on another video. We will see y'all on another one be blessed and be safe. You
