Diy Tape In Hair Extensions At Home!!! * Huge Hair Transformation*

Hi guys welcome back to my channel if you are new here, what's happening if you're new here what's lit chocolate chip and if you're a returning subscriber what's poppin. Thank you guys so much for joining me today, as you've seen by the title for today's video. I'M actually going to be doing this video that a lot of you guys have actually requested in previous, like many many previous of my hair videos, so shout out to you guys and also you guys. I want to give a big big shout out to full shine. Hair extensions on amazon um, you guys little quick, fun story, i've always loved to order hair from amazon, and i always love to switch up the brands i like to like try new ones to see which one is better like what i like better from amazon. That way, i can stick to it because if you guys don't already know, amazon is super bushy on a budget. You know what i'm saying you get to live your best life, your most pop in life, but like on a budget. You know so you guys, i actually came across a brand that i literally was left shook like the hair was so freaking bomb that um i ended up following them on instagram and all that stuff and um. They ended up following me back, and this was a couple years ago and you guys actually like it's so freaking like this is like a little grateful moment like a little bit i'll kind of see that moment, because you guys actually, i purchased from them and just Fell in love with their hair a couple years ago, and now you guys i was so shook because they emailed me and they wanted to work with me. So i said what i was so shocked and i'm just so excited because i actually truly genuinely like. I am all about this brand, like i definitely recommend this brand for you for your sister for your mom as a gift, you know give your mom your sister, a little gift of a makeover, little tapen moment um. Hopefully, you guys can learn from this video and maybe have fun and do it at home. Um, but like don't do it but like do it, i don't know um i'll leave it up to you. Don'T listen to me you guys, because i don't want you guys to be doing things without a professional. I mean it's better if you go out and get a professionally done, but if you want to be adventurous like me, then do it at home. Then please keep watching because we're about to have a lot of fun and um. I'Ve done these many times. I'Ve done tapings so many times you guys, and i absolutely just love love, how they feel and how they look because they're like so flat to your head, but anyways you guys enough of me, rambling, i'm just so so so excited to like actually, finally film. So i like did a little youtube like story, because i was so like shook you guys, but anyways anyways, anyways i'll, probably post one on instagram. You guys, i'm so excited to share this with you guys um, but this is how the packaging looks. I did get the hair extensions in um in 20, inches um and then the shade is jet black. I believe it's like a like a one b or a one n, or something like that um. I love that they actually send you like their little brochure like how to care for them, and then it also um has their little like it has a little keep and touch card. You guys oop, oh, i can't see it there you go and it has like their instagram account their social medias and everything you guys and actually like. If you guys don't already know or like for those of you that already know, you guys know that i'm such a like, i don't know, i love to focus on the detail like. I noticed that and i appreciate it because i know there's a lot of money that goes behind the packaging and all that stuff. So i appreciate that because that's the reason why i followed them back like i followed them a couple years ago, because they left me shook and um they provided their socials. So you know what i'm saying so for those of you, small entrepreneurs that are starting your brands. There'S people like me that really appreciate your packaging and everything that you put into it so keep doing it but anyways if you guys um. This is how this is how it looks. This is how it comes. [ Applause ] comes with this: it comes protected in a little net um you guys and actually real quick um, don't judge my onyas okay says my nails because it says i just dyed. My hair today i dyed it. I like we had to retouch it because your girl is 26, but we have ghanas everywhere says we have ghanas but um yeah. I had to retouch my hair today. You guys before doing this video, and so my unyas are literally like and you can see but they're like all messed up. So when we get to close-up moments, but don't judge your girl, okay, please don't judge me. Okay, thanks! That'S it! That'S it! That'S it! You guys um, but anyways um. This is what the hair looks like um. It is in 20 inches again in the jet black shade and i believe it comes with 20 pieces um for those of you that are returning from another hair video um. You guys already. Probably know that i, when it comes to oops when it comes to tape and hair extensions, i actually like to cut them in half and apply them that way, just because my hair ends up feeling more movable like i can do more things with it. Um, the first time i ever tried taping hair extensions. I actually tried them like this, like just how they come and like it's. It'S still really like nice. You know. The only thing is that to me i get headaches so fast, so like it just ended up feeling like too, like i don't know, i could feel like the little i don't know i felt like my hair couldn't breathe and i was getting headaches and i just Wanted to like wake up and take them out, but like no cuz, i really like how it looks. You know what i'm saying but anyways you guys um. Yes, for today's video, you guys will see that i actually will go ahead and cut them in half and then i sandwich them um, so yeah just keep watching you guys in the hair quality already but anyways. Oh, my camera is dying i'll, be right back you guys, okay, so i'm gon na try my best to show you guys like to really show you guys how i um, how i apply my tape and extensions, so i'm gon na mix this set with another one That i already had from before from sally's um this one by itself, i believe, is 50 grams and the other one. I think it's also 50 grams or like 100. I might be wrong, it might be like 100. yeah. I think the other one is actually like. 50 to 100 grams, just because i had bought two packs from sally's and um, i already like um re-taped them today, um i saved like three pieces. I can show you guys later how i actually um re-tape them so keep watching. If you want to see that, but you guys anyways, i'm going to show you guys what i do with these. So basically, what i do is my scissors all right, you guys so i'm going to use my scissors and just cut this off and you guys i'm going to show you guys how short my hair is. So, okay, you guys so we're going to be transforming i'm. So excited you guys because, like i have my clipping extensions, but i love to have my tape ins because, like you know you just get up, you go and cheer pop, and you know what i'm saying but anyways you guys, okay, so yeah. I believe that this um does come with 20 pieces, so i'm going to separate half of them, and so that is one two three four five, six nine ten. I literally separated exactly ten. You guys and i didn't even count period, no anyways anyways, you guys yeah. So i'm just gon na grab one and literally the way that i apply them. Is i literally well before i apply them. I just cut them in half because i feel like i don't know it just makes my head feel lighter. So i really really like that, and it does take a little bit longer to do it this way, um just because there's smaller sections but um, i promise it's totally worth it. So i'm gon na just go ahead and actually um continue to cut these in half before i show you guys how i apply them so i'll actually um apply. I mean i'm gon na go ahead and cut these down off of camera, and then i will be right back you guys, all right, you guys so um. This is what they look like after you've cut them, so i already cut them in half. Now you guys, i'm actually going to section my hair and i'm going to start from the back all the way to the top, and actually i don't go all the way up. I actually just stop kind of like halfway um and then i do end up putting on some higher ones towards the front just so it looks more natural like more like my hair, if that makes sense, because i do have a lot of like layers towards the Front they were unintentional layers. You guys more like bleach damage, anyways, you guys, okay, so i'm gon na actually section it and i'll be right back all right. You guys so now that i've sectioned my hair um, i'm gon na just show you guys, i'm gon na start right here. Um, i'm gon na listen see. So you guys. The goal is to um be able to, like you know, manageably put your hair up and, however, you like it so um in order to do that, you actually have to leave out like the perimeter of like all of your, your hair, like all of your head. Um, just so that it like hides whenever you pull it up or anything like that, if you want to do a ponytail or anything like that, um that way the tapes hide um, because they're still like, like you, can still kind of see them a little bit Because of like the shiny like base to them, but anyways you guys, i'm gon na start out right here and the way i'm gon na do. It is actually not the way that i used to do it actually seeing somebody else. Do it this way and um. Basically, what she did is she just um. She just grabbed her little section, her little tape section and she actually taped it right where she wanted to place it and then lifted it up, and then that sandwiched it that way. Instead of, like you know, picking up your section and um doing it the way that you would do it like, if somebody else was doing it, i guess but anyways i'll. Let you guys see, take a look all right. You guys so right here, i'm just sandwiching. The hair, together after you, want to make sure to grab your straightener and add heat to the bond at the top of your tape ends just to really secure them. Then after you guys, i'm just going to be repeating the same steps all around. You don't have to necessarily do them as close as i did, you can do the window effect and just space them a the length of a a extension apart um. The way that i'm doing it is more because i want more fullness and length as well. So i'm kind of putting them still kind of close together, although you can go with the window effect for a more natural look, just to add a little bit of length and thickness to your hair peace. This. I me peace all right guys. So last night um, i actually fell asleep because they got super super late but um. This is how it looks. It'S super super long um. I ended up mixing my i believe, 18 inches with my 20 inches, which i don't know how well it worked out, because i don't guys can see right here - here's my my 18 inches and then my 20 inches or heck along, but we'll finesse it and make It look like layers but anyways you guys, i'm gon na go ahead and just curl it and then i'll be right back. I would honestly recommend you to start out without cutting the tapes. Just so like you know you get to like play around with it and see if you like it, i personally just don't like, like the tapes being that like bulky, like not bulky but, like you know the whole weft, so i like to cut them down personal Preference, but you can try it out, but how they come um, it's probably going to be easier than cutting them in half and doing it, because it's going to take so much time, but this is how they turned out. They curl um they're, definitely heat resistant. I love them. Actually you guys already know. I already told you this earlier, but i've tried this brand before and they never let me down.
