Hello darling, thank you all so much for watching, i hope, you're all doing it wonderful. Today, i'm going to be redoing, my taping hair extensions. Actually i did them a couple days ago and i just wanted to do the intro with it just curled and fixed. I haven't done this like glam hairstyle in a while and i'm really liking it, and i picked the perfect day because it is raining and we'll have to throw a hat on anyway, how nice? For me, i have been wearing tape in extensions for several months. Now. You guys know if you follow me on my channel, if you're subscribed and if you're not you should definitely subscribe, but ever since i started doing the tape ins, that's all i do. I just love tapings now before i. I didn't even know that that it was possible for me to do it myself and once i realized it was, i have just. I can't go without them now and i have very short, thin, fine hair. So if i can do them literally, anyone could do them. So i hope this video gives you some inspiration. If you have been thinking about doing diy extensions on yourself, i'm also going to be reviewing some new ones. Today, i've changed up my hair color a bit one little bit darker at the root. Of course lighter at you know the blonde at the ends, which i absolutely love. It'S amazing beauty, hair extensions. I will have all of the information stuff linked down below if you guys are interested in trying these out, but i've had them in a couple days now and i absolutely love them they're, so soft. This is the first day that i've curled them and they curled really well. The tapes and stuff still feel secure, so i'm gon na in the video. I do walk you guys, step by step on what i do and another thing that i read in like the little instruction that i didn't do in the video is you can take some very light heat like uh, your straightener on low and press the extensions together. I still may do that. I don't think it's too late. I haven't washed my hair anything yet so i still may do that step, but other than that i do show everything else in the video. If you guys have any comments that i don't answer, i try to answer even how i take them out and all that near the end. But if you have any questions that i didn't answer, please feel free to leave. It leave them down below i'm not gon na ramble on too much and i'm gon na let's go ahead and get into the tutorial part, but i'm just gon na say if you have been nervous about it. Hopefully this just gives you the little push that you need to go ahead and do your own extensions. I know they're so expensive. If you have someone else, do them, but you can do them at home for way way less. But yes i'll have to say about that, enjoy the video okay. So before we get started, i'm gon na do a little unboxing with you guys here is the box that they came in and i got two of them. These are amazing, beauty, hair extensions. I believe i got them in 22 inch. I will put the information up here on the screen. I do already have one set open here. So here is what one set looks like it's a very beautiful, color ombre i did go darker as you can see. I know it seems like i'm always changing my hair, that's just because right now, i'm taking prenatals and my hair is growing really fast and i do my own hair. So i can change it more like and i feel like that um. When i look back at pictures and stuff, i like looking at my hair with a bit of a darker root. I don't really like bright blonde with really dark roots growing out, which is not my favorite. So i like just kind of like a kind of like a root blend, but here they are here's one set down to the tip, really pretty tapes and then also in the box. It does come with some extra tape. It comes with these really cool clips and then also a really nice comb that has this pointy edge, which is really cool i'll, definitely be using that yeah. These are 22 inch. Here are the two sets all together so there's thickness and they always feel like a little bit thicker after they've been washed and stuff, really silky, smooth, really pretty color. So first things. First, i want to try to explain this as good as i can. I have done my own extensions now for several months. I did post a video when i first started trying out uh taping extensions, and i have done ever since on myself. I do get a little bit of help, sometimes uh taking them out and sometimes brooklyn will help me put them in, but the last few times i have just put them myself. I kind of enjoy doing it, and it's really not that difficult. I do have very thin fine hair and it's only down to right here, my shoulders. So what i do is i separate a small section at the bottom and then just put the rest up. I just use a scrunchie. I really do have such thin hair. I'Ve explained this many times, but i have hypothyroidism and thick hair just doesn't run in my family anyway. So it's just not a good combination. I have thin hair, but i'm fine with doing the extensions and stuff i'm so i'm so used to it. Now, if you hear me sniffling around a bit, i do have allergies, i don't have covet or anything. I just have seasonal allergies that i that i get every year. Okay, so i just set up a little mirror here behind me, and i also have one in front of me: excuse that it is dirty. I couldn't be bothered to clean it right now and also i'm not great at making a straight part in my hair. I had never have been great with hair stuff like that, but it'll work fine anyway. So first step all you do. Is you take your tapes? I do three tapes at the bottom, so i got three here and i just start in the middle. Take the little white thing off start in the middle and just kind of look in the mirror and also use my fingers to feel, and i just stick it right on. I don't know if you can see, but stick it right on that hairline right there, and then i put one on each side of that. So i'm going to turn around and see. If i can show you one two three right there and now we're going to be sandwiching the hair, my hair between these, so i'm going to take another one and i'm going to just start with this one on the side, i'm going to flip it up. This is where the clips come in handy. You can clip it, so i'm just going to clip it up and i'm going to try to turn around. So you guys can see so right here. It is flipped up and i'm just going to take another one, and i literally line it up with this one. It'S kind of hard because i can't i can't see it right now, but i'm just going to use my fingers to feel it and take it down and there's that piece. Now, i'm going to do the same thing with these two pieces. Okay, so here is the first layer done. It may not be like perfectly straight, but trust me. This is how i do it every time and it does come out so so i basically just keep doing the same thing. I take another thin layer of hair down not too much and then i will probably do five yeah. I do about five pieces on this next section. I do not have a whole lot of hair to work with, so i i want to put enough to where it's not going to rip my hair out. I want enough between each section. I will go ahead and show you about the amount that i use, but also don't put uh so much that i'm going to run out of hair to use. So i have another layer of hair down, and i use about this much in between so enough to. You know that it's gon na hold hold well there, but still not using too much so i'm not gon na bore you guys with uh, showing you each one that i put in, but i'm going to put five on this next section. It'S about right here across and then i will show you what that looks like okay down with that section. It did not take me long at all i'll show you guys if i can so there's five across here kind of goes to right here on the side. I know my parts probably a little crazy, but that's what it's looking like. Okay, so next section we just go up a little bit more, so the next section is like right here right here on my head. I do go pretty high with extensions. We are still only on one set. I haven't got into the second set. Yet i do like to put quite a bit in the on the sides, but here's what's left of the first set about four pieces, so i'm going to do the same thing just start in the middle and work my way to the sides, so those are put In i did do four across for now, because i'm going to be going into my sides next and we are officially into the second set - i'm not sure how many pieces we have here, but it looks like that and i'm going to start on my sides. I do like the sides uh full, you know, i don't like it to look too sparse there, so i take my time and just place them how i feel it will frame my face. The best and the sides are my favorite part to do, because i can see it just from looking in the mirror. So i'm going to do just this little section right here, like behind my ear. My last extension ends there, so i'm gon na be putting that. Basically, right beside that and then just right on the other side, you can see there, i'm gon na place another one squeeze those together and that's all i'm going to do on this side. For now i do have this much left. Okay - and there is four pieces on this side - okay, so we have eight pieces left and i do part my hair over to this side, so i'm going to be putting a few pieces up in this area. Okay, so here is the side, nice and full blends. Really well - and i do have four pieces left - i think i'm gon na put these kind of just up in crown area right here, just to give it a bit more volume back there and yeah. We will be done pretty simple process. So here is all of those tapes in my little bit of hair. It still amazes me: it really does i'm gon na give it a little brush, really gently um. I don't like to wash my hair for a few days after i do the tape in just give them time to settle. Also, you want to use sulfate, free, shampoo and conditioner, and obviously you don't want to use any oils or anything like that. No leave-in conditioners and stuff if you want to put a little bit on the ends, i do do that like on the extensions or like. If i have a little bit of hair here in the front, i want to put it in: that's not going to be touching the tapes then i'll. Do that as well, but you just want to be really gentle, the more gentle you are the longer they will. Last they usually last me up to eight weeks right now. My hair is growing faster than normal, so about six to seven weeks, but my honest opinion. They are well worth it if you go to the salon, you're gon na be paying so so much more. It'S like a thousand or more dollars to have somebody else put in like order the tapes and put them in when you can do them yourself for way way cheaper, but the quality of these are so nice. I'M loving this color, especially for fall just a little bit darker, i think they're absolutely gorgeous very silky and they were very easy to put in as well. The tapes seem nice and strong. Another question i get is how i take them out. I just wait until you know it's time to redo them, and then i put oil in my hairs. That'S probably not how a lot of people like to do it. Some people like to just use the remover and stuff because they don't like dealing with like the oil in their hair, but i like to just put the oil all over my head and then they will pretty much slide out. I did have brooklyn help me. Take them out this time um, but yeah they come out pretty easily with the oil um. If you are somebody that needs that has a job and needs to get it done really quickly. Probably just using the remover and stuff will be faster for you, but i just feel like the alcohol in the remover is a bit more damaging than just soaking, my head in coconut oil or whatever kind of oil. I have and that's just how i like to do it and then i just give them a good wash and then to put them back in. I just order. Uh tapes off of i have some sitting here: tape, extra tape off of amazon, and i clean the you know clean them and take the old tape off and put the new tape on. That is quite a process, but, like i said it's all worth it to me, i love having the hair that stays in all the time. I just love it. I love having long hair, but i will have these linked down below they're, absolutely gorgeous highly recommend. I just love taping extensions, i'm so glad that i gave it a try and, if you're nervous about it, take it from me it's not that big of a deal. I i think you know for me. I just don't make too big of a deal over my hair, my hair's, not great anyway, so i don't care to try different stuff. I understand if you have wonderful hair and you don't want to ruin it, but most the time if you have wonderful, hair you're, not looking to get tape and extensions in the first place. So i thank you guys so much for watching. I hope that you enjoyed this, i'm sure you'll be seeing this hair like curled and fixed in my upcoming videos, but for today i'm just going to leave it straight. I don't really feel like curling it, i'm kind of blocking it straight anyway. I'M not fluffed with it a bit, but i like how it looks. I thank you guys so much for watching. Please leave me comments down below give this video a big thumbs up subscribe. If you haven't already - and i will see you guys next time -

However, Kayla, you’ve given me the courage and I’ve ordered some 18 inch in my auburn brown hair color and I’m excited for them to come in, get them on and finally feel pretty again because my short hair makes me feel cute not beautiful for some reason. Thank you so much for this very helpful video! Your hair looks gorgeous!
