What'S good to all my cousins period, today's video is going to be me getting my hair installed into a traditional sew-in, but instead of me just playing music. In that background, y'all just watch me. I feel like that. Smoky boring and I want to talk to y'all while y'all watch me get my hair done so I wanted to you, know spice it up a little bit, make it interesting for y'all, so I'm gon na be doing a little story. Time talk with me as y'all watch me get my hair done by the way before we get into this video y'all make sure y'all check my description box for the hair company that I'll be using today, because I never had hair like this, and I have to Put y'all on when I tell you this hair, let me explain so basically, it's like a Yaki texture, hair, which I never ever heard of before. I use this hair, but it's like so unique because it literally gives like press out like if you get your hair pressed out. It feels the same way like black girl hair. Basically, the way that's the best way. I can explain it so y'all gon na see when y'all see the clip of meat with the hair in my hair installed. Y'All gon na see exactly what I'm talking about so y'all make sure y'all check that out. So so, okay. So now we get into this video of me getting this sew in um. The hair that I'm using, like I mentioned, is from curls queen queen curls, Queen my bad I'm. Oh, my God. My baby is in the background making noise don't like him. You know I'm a mother or whatever, but anyway. So one thing I really love about krill's Queen is that they are a brand that, like specifically caters to empowering women and women Beauty. You know we love that for the girls, okay and it's all about self-love and you know make you feel girls feel beautiful. I I relate to that. I'M on the same type of timing, that day on, so I would love that for this company um, they have a slogan that says to be fresh, gifted female and black. Okay, it's giving cover girls. I mess with that slogan. Okay, I like it. I, like it curls clean - I like it, okay, so we're just gon na be talking about this. We'Re gon na be talking about a few things that has to do with hairs, so Hair video. So we gon na talk about hair um, we're going to talk about the steps of installing a sew-in which, for every black girl, should know the steps to installing a sew-in like come on. Now it's 2023 come on now, but hey some people might not have ever had a sew in because I haven't, I didn't get my first sew-in until I was in like 10th or 11th grade like that long, so the steps to getting the sew in. Of course, you got to start with um, getting your hair washed and blow dry, as you can see mine just blow dried here and now she's just parting. What type of part I want, so you pick what type of part you want. If you want a side part, then it's not going to be like this. You know it's going to be to the side, but I wanted a middle part. So that's why she parted my middle part first and so now. She'S, basically just about to start sewing my beehive up, so that she can sew the hair in it's really simple. The steps to get enough sew in is really not much steps for me to even keep talking about, because it's so simple, like oh yeah and, of course, separating the leave out um while she braids The Beehive, so that that could be what covers my tracks from Showing okay, so I'm gon na be telling you guys the difference between a wig and a sew-in. If you, if you're kind of slow I mean who wouldn't know but hey, this is what they want me to talk about. So I'm gon na tell you guys the difference between the sew-in and the wig so with a wig. That'S basically like you! It'S the same process but like you're, not getting half you're, not leaving out no hair under a wig. So you braiding up all your hair under a wig and you get in a ball cap and then glue and all that, like it's way more steps to getting it wig than the sew-in um. So a sew-in is that is what I basically explained before this. You know you have to have leave out, you have to get it straight into Master texture or whatever hair you're dealing with me personally, I'm gon na have to cut my hair soon after I take this weave out, because I did get this same hair from curls Queen installed twice the first time I got a um, a quick weave with it hairstyle it was half up half down which you guys will see in the end of the video and then I took it out and got this middle part weave. So I'm definitely knowing I'm gon na have heat damage from getting a sew in which y'all know I'm so big on my natural hair. So it kind of hurts my heart to have to cut my hair, but then I always I've been wanting to cut my hair anyway, so I'm not really tripping but yeah. So sew-ins, you definitely should make sure you use Heat Protector or whatever else, to protect your hair for heat damage, but it's most likely going to happen no matter what so that's something to be aware of when it comes to getting sew in so yeah, but the Good part about sew-ins is that it's like you can scratch your head and it's more convenient in the last way longer than a wig like wigs. Only last you about a week or two weeks, if it's a good install, but we, if you could have it in probably for like a month I mean that's, probably the longest I'll go, but I'm pretty sure other girls probably have went longer than a month and Like just re-wash, they leave out and kept the weave in, but yeah. So that's the difference. Um weaves are way more lasting. Excuse me. They last longer and they're just more convenient if you're not wig girl. Who knows how to maintain wigs? Because you have to really know how to do hair to maintain your wig and the baby hairs, and all of that so yeah. So my thoughts about the sewing sew-in that I got from um this company's hair. I really love this hair texture. Like I said in the beginning, I never had no hair texture sure like this. That gives black girl hair, like even my mom. She was asking me when I went over there. She was like. Is that a wig I'm like? No? This is a um. This is a sew-in. She was like wow looks super good, like it looks like your hair, like everybody been telling me that this looks like my hair, like if I had a pressed out, so that's something I really loved about this um and I'm I'm able to scratch my head. You know I really loved it. It lasted me a long time like I probably had my weave in plus the last hairstyle and this one together, probably for like a month, so this hair is really good and Lasting long and it don't shed or anything like that. So I'm really impressed with this hair company's hair, I'm not even going to cap to y'all like I would 100 recommend this hair to anybody who wants to get a sew in or even a ponytail like it really gave and y'all gon na see. At the end. I'M gon na put some pictures of me like with the hair in styled and out and stuff, so y'all can see how it is when I went out and stuff another thing I loved about the bundles was the texture the length the way like it was. The hair was heavy like that's how you know it was thick from top to bottom, because the bundles are heavy. My jaw, I only use two bundles. Let me say that again. I literally only used two bundles for this sew-in. Isn'T that, like nuts, the fact that this is only two bundles, not three, not four, two literally, that's that basically right there just gives y'all a picture of how thick and good this hair is like. Two bundles for a sew-in is wow, but it worked and I love it here so, as you can see, she has the hair sold in my head now, look at me getting my footage for tick. Tock and my reels make sure y'all stay tuned for my reels and Tick Tock that I made while there, because it was so cute and y'all gon na see that when I post it online and make sure you gas me up comment show some love. I love y'all and when y'all show me love, it means the world to me because y'all really be the only ones like showing me love in real life, so yeah um, as you can see now, she's, just like getting ready to um blend my hair, I loved How this looks straight, like I loved it more straight than um curly, because it just looks so good like it looked like it was mine, but anyway she's like combing it out, because I had just took it out of another hairstyle. So it needed to be like refreshed, but look how good that looks like you cannot tell me that I don't look like it could be my hair, like so yeah um yeah. I don't think I've mentioned the length of the hair that I the bundles. I have from them. I don't think I mentioned them, but the bundles I have is 24 inches. Isn'T that crazy, like this hair, looked like 28 at least 28 inches on me? Even my hair stylist thought it was longer than 24 inches. It might be because I am shorter. I am a shorter girl, I'm five foot, but I don't know it really was longer than 24 inches to me like that mess was beautiful and look how flat she got it. She pressed it um at the top and it really looked like mine, I'm just so amazed. Looking at myself right now, like oh, it looks so good anyways. Another dope thing about this hair from curls Queen, is that this hair can last up to one year with proper care and maintenance like if you know how to care for your hair. This hair is going to last you a long time. So just keep that in mind. One thing I do regret: oh another thing is the hair can be colored and bleached it's it's like you can do everything you would do with normal hair with this hair like that's how bomb it is. One thing I do regret is: I cut my hair after a while, so my hair is no longer as long as it is in this clip. Oh my gosh, that's my baby! It'S no longer this long because I cut it into a length. That'S like Bob lint, because I don't know that's just what I'd be doing after a while, like I like to switch it up, especially if I'm gon na have some hair in for a while. I always end up cutting it, but um I'll, really low-key. I might have to reorder this hair from them. That'S how much I really loved it and uh. Excuse me. That'S how much I really loved, and I want to reuse this hair like for the future styles that I might need bundles for like quick, weaves or ponytails. You know so curls Queen. If you hear me girl, I want some more, no I'm just playing, but that's how I feel about that. So I just wanted to speak on me, cutting my hair. Soon I am going to be cutting my hair after this um sew-in is out, so you guys make sure you stay tuned on my Instagram page, because I will post footage of that. Also, I'm gon na do a YouTube video on me cutting my hair, letting you guys see that I personally feel like it's going to be a big deal to my platform when I cut my hair because as y'all know, that's literally how I got my name like From my hair and from my personality, of course, but my hair played a big role in me like blowing up, which is crazy. Like a lot of people, just love my hair, and I love my hair too, like it's always been the way I express myself and just the way like it was kind of like my a part of my personality, like I always spend extra with my hair in School and everything like the girls used to copy my hairstyles at school, which I didn't mind. It was kind of like cool to see girls inspired by my hairstyles walking around school with them. But I don't know, I just got into a point in my life, where I just I'm ready to cut my hair, like, oh, my god. Look. How good that looked, though hold on hold on y'all, see that look, how bomb my leave out just blended with this sew-in like there's, no way anybody could tell me this is not my hair, like look how good y'all see what I'm talking about, though, like it Really be given like it gives so it gives um silk press black girl hair. Like I just love it anyways. I'M not sad about me cutting my hair, because I will it's gon na, be like a New Journey for me this year, like I'm kind of excited to have short hair, because I never had like really short hair to where it's like. I don't know what to do with it, so it's kind of like going to be a challenge to me and it's something I want to do also because I feel like I can help girls with shorter hair, like figure out bomb hairstyles for short hair girls, like I don't know if y'all get what I'm trying to say like it's kind of like I'm doing a thing like I'm gon na have a New Journey to going with y'all and be able to do new, hairstyles and things with y'all for y'all to see on my Youtube channel on tick tock on everything like I'm excited and it's not gon na take away from my beauty. So, that's why I really don't care, because I know I'm gon na look good with short hair, no matter what so my mom told me not to do it, though my mom told me I was shouldn't cut it, and now she just like continue growing my hair, But like no, I want something fresh this year for me and I just feel like cutting my hair will be something that's like dang like she really really cut her hair like nobody's gon na expect this, like I just know, I'm telling y'all this now so when Y'All see this video come back to this video after y'all, see me post me cutting my hair and be like damn. You was right. They really went nuts over you cutting your hair like so I'm excited. I really am I'm not doing this for anybody else. I'M doing this for me like personally so yeah anyway, so now we almost have to finish line with this sew-in um. She asked me how I wanted to style it. I told her. I want long curls, so she's, basically one curling, my hair, now fun fact. I never in life ever had one curls. This is the first time in life that I ever had one curls and I really like them like. I never seen myself with wine curls before until she did it for me, so it's kind of like y'all, seeing the first time I ever had one curls 2 in this video, so it's kind of cool to see or whatever I'm gon na talk about steps for Y'All and how to maintain a sew-in and what products I suggest and what you should do, or whatever me personally, when I have a sew-in and how I maintain it um. Of course, I try to use as little heat as possible on my um leave out, because you will have to put heat on your leave out, so it could continue to blend, but when, if I'm not doing nothing for the day or if I'm not like going Anywhere special, I'm not gon na put no heat on my hair because I'm trying to save it as much as possible, so I'm gon na use minimum heat as much as possible. Um you could try likes tying your hair down with like a silk scarf. Silk. Scarf is key because it helps reduce frizz and stuff like that. So that's something I recommend um and as far as the part of leaving out and like what products to put on it, so it blends with your hair. I use edge control. I know that sounds weird, but I do use edge control on my leave out like at the top, like you see what she's doing like she's spraying stuff at the top of my my leave out, I use edge control right there on that part because it stops Flyaways and it just helps, lay it flat like I'll, put some edge control and then I'll go back over it, my hair with um, the flat iron, and it lays it down, also hairspray oil and all of that good stuff. So yeah, that's basically the end of this video. As you can see it came out so good like it looks good like I look good, obviously so y'all make sure y'all. Just like this video comment. What y'all think about this hairstyle and everything I talked about in it and comments some products that y'all would suggest for people on what to use on a leave out to help it blend, because you know some people leave I'll, be crunchy. They need a little bit of advice, help the girls out in the comments when it comes to sew-ins and yeah. Here'S some pictures of me out with the hair and how I styled it differently and I loved it. So y'all make sure y'all check my description box out, so you can see them. Music bro anyway check my description box out for all the information from them.
