WE LOVE YOU ALL

Here all right y'all, if you couldn't already tell by the title Lexi and I are doing a hair, routine video, and when I tell y'all this was highly requested. It was highly requested. It'S not gon na be like, like all that we're just gon na share what we do. Our routines are very similar, so I'm going to be walking you through, like our stable, wash routine and then some hairstyles that we do often because I know y'all are sick of the chocolate. But let me tell you we're in school, so I ain't got time to do my hair every single day like that, if I could just twist it up and pop a clip in it, that's what I'm gon na do but anyways. So I'm gon na be showing you the wash routine I'll be getting in the shower I'll, have a bathing suit on so none of y'all can say nothing both have dyed our hair twice now I have like pantora highlights, but if I go a little bit lighter So I'm going into tones this next Tuesday, but yeah. This is kind of what we do um. I would say we wash our hair two, maybe three times a week. I don't know if that's like an average amount or not but we're in school, and I don't have the time, products or energy to be styling. My hair do doing my hair, if that makes sense like wearing it out and looking luscious. I maybe do that like once a week when I be going out but other than that Lexi, and I just do protective hairstyles and yeah. I definitely think that we both want to Branch out and do more like braids, that type of protective hairstyle, because we did Lexi's once I want to do mine I've yet to get mine done. I also just don't got the money of the time to do it. Anyways um, to give you guys a little back story. Sorry, I have like notes Here see that I weren't like raised in an area that had a lot of representation for people with similar hair type, and you know just ethnicity in general. To be honest, so our mom, she actually went to cosmetology school, like beauty, school or whatever for a couple of years and worked as a hair stylist. So she had honestly a pretty good idea of how to take care of our hair we got adopted. She did a big chop right away because our hair was so damaged. She did a really good job. I'Ve never had like super damaged hair. Like my hair's always been relatively healthy. I have like a good relationship with it. I love my hair curly, nothing wrong. If you like it straight or whatever, but I love my hair curly like if it's not like when I straighten my hair, to give it a trim and stuff like that, I feel like I don't look like myself. If that makes sense, I don't know comment below. If y'all feel the same way and if you don't um vice versa, you know what I'm saying like if you don't feel like yourself with curls. Oh, the battery's gon na die sorry about that. The camera died. But, as I was saying, um our mom did. Do a really good job with taking care of our hair growing up and just learned what we know how to do now online honestly and for watching other people. So I'm actually really thankful for that. That'S just to give you all a little back story on the curls now, obviously it's time for them to be washed clearly, but that actually doesn't I mean I don't want to say it actually doesn't look too bad, but I'm definitely like ready. You know what I'm saying, because, honestly by the end of the week I just be honestly, I just be slicking it back all the time because which I know is not healthy, but I'm honestly, I'm not slicking it back with gel um, but also it's just easier With going to the gym so much and everything like that, but here's what we're looking at, I think I washed it maybe four three four days ago, it actually feels like pretty hydrated. Maybe besides my ends here but other than that, like it's not looking too bad and I Lex, and I both have really dry hair, if that makes sense, we're always putting oil in it. When Lexie's getting her hair done. The hair lady actually told her that it was like bad for her to put oil on her hair and it really confused me because, like I don't know, she was like the owner too, of the curl smart sexy night. When we got our hair dyed, we she accidentally scheduled her hair at the wrong place, so I went to where we got our hair dyed to the first time and she went to a new place, so I don't know if that had anything to do with it. I mean her hair turned out great, but I was thoroughly confused by that information. It'S a little summary a little back story on where our hair has been at and kind of like the journey we've had. So we just started kind of like dying at maybe like once a year around like spring summer time, just to like um, give it some definition and then also we've been getting our hair, trimmed um once to twice a year. But I know it should probably be like four times a year, but we're we're working on it and yeah. I got my hair cut too and I got a little shape, but you can't really tell right now so yeah, I'm just gon na walk you all through the process of washing our washing my hair, so yeah. Sorry. This just feels like really good, all right, y'all. So I am currently getting in the shower, and the first thing that I start out doing is washing my hair with shampoo. I like to make sure that I'm using a moisturizing shampoo, because I deal with frizzy and hair that tends to be on the dryer side. So I really do like native. However, if you guys do have any recommendations, definitely leave them in the comments, because I am open to trying new products. But after that I'll go in with the conditioner and, like I said, I really like native. I like this combo together. I think it's super hydrating and nourishing on My Curls, but I'll just rake that through my hair finger, combing and then I'll go in with an actual comb or brush um and I'll just go through my hair, starting at the ends. Of course, and then, once that's rinsed out I'll go in with a deep conditioner, I like to do this at the very end and I'll leave it in my hair for about 15-20 minutes. While I do the rest of my shower duties - and I just tie my hair back like so - and here's me shaking my head to make sure that it doesn't fall out and then I'm good to go okay, I just got out of the shower. I finished out with the press of my routine as soon as I got a shower. I popped this on my head. I recommend, like one of these or a t-shirt, a cotton t-shirt to help with frizz, because that's something that I struggle with now um, I'm going to actually take my little hairspray bottle. Um. I have all of the products that I'm using LinkedIn by Amazon storefront, including my Bonnet, so if you are looking for them, if they're on Amazon they're in the storefront um, sorry I'm like - I don't know if I mentioned I'm like kind of losing my voice, I Don'T know it's just been really dry and our apartment, and so my voice is really scratchy. But what I've learned from my hair stylist is that when you apply product to your curly hair, your hair needs to be like soaked, like she literally said the wetter the better. So I'm just going to go through and spray it now. I think my hair is pretty wet, so the next thing that I learned now that my hair is soaked. I only have three steps and these are the steps recommended by my hair stylist. So if you have like a hair type similar to mine or like you would deal with really dry and fizzy hair fizzy beef roll, so the first product that I'm going to be putting in my hair is leave-in conditioner, and this is her recommendation for this. The steps to my hair care, routine of the products that I am going to be using today, are by this line of oh wait. No by this line of meow um, I'm sorry, I don't, I think, that's how you pronounce it, but black owned business went Bible. Recently, as they should for a hair oil that I do use, I use it a lot on, like not my wash days um but yeah. She went viral and I've been obsessed with her products because - and I both have - I use the leave-in or the deep conditioner in the shower, and now I'm gon na go in with pomegranate honey. Leave it in conditioner and this is it just works for me, it helps Prime Define anti-frizz all of the things that I want and need. So I'm just gon na go ahead with this. My hairstylist said only need like that about, but I'm gon na go in with a little bit more just because, like that's, my preference and I'm just gon na go through and finger comb no way or Alexa trying to like show y'all what you should be doing. Um, this is just what we've learned and what works for our hair and, if you guys honestly, have any tips or products that you love and use that you think would work for us as well like let us know, I think one thing I'm not set on Is like my shampoo and conditioner, like I love native on my hair, I do I I actually do really like it, but it's not like I'm obsessed with it. If that makes sense and see, look at the girls are already looking like so much better holy crap. The next step that my hairstyle is recommended and that I have been doing is using some sort of mousse curl cream curl, former shaper um curl, defining gel that type of thing um to hold the curls and shape your curls. Now this kind of like I will definitely switch this up depending on how I'm sewing my hair and where I want to go because, obviously, if I wanted more like crunchy super formed, super hold curl, I'm going to use a gel. But since I'm not going to really be doing too much with my hair in the next couple of days, I'm going to use a cream um this one by Miss Jessie's is my all-time. Favorite. I'Ve been using it for a couple years now and I love it. Um some other ones that I've tried the strictly curls. I have this too, and I do like it, but I like this one better. I don't know I just this feels so moisturizing and I love the smell anything Miss Jessie's, honestly rock with so I'm gon na go in with this and yeah I use about that amount and then again I'm gon na go in and finger comb this just so That I distribute the product evenly and the volume is already getting there I'm going to use. I use I always use like just like. I go like two fingers in and that much just so that I get a little bit of crunch, not like a lot on each side. I know I'm going over the steps she recommended, but, like I'm also trying to like be rude with y'all, I like a little crunch just a little bit and if I'm doing it like, if I'm diffusing my hair and taking the time it's gon na look good. It'S cold today and I just scrunch if my curls don't hit Peak till like like end of the day when I do my wash routine so um I'll do my best to like share the final product and get it like as mostly dry as I can. But y'all know it takes a little bit day two day. Two is just because the products sit a little bit and then you can kind of like rehydrate and refresh your curls a little bit, and it's like perfect in my head. If that makes any sense, so I am going to blow dry my hair um and I honestly this blow dryer - is this brand? If anyone cares, I don't know, I don't know where we got it to be honest, maybe like Walmart or Target. I don't have a preference to be honest as long as it does the job all right, so I just finished blow drying and it's most of the way dry that this is the final look. I'M gon na go out in some natural light, but yeah. So after I blow dried it, I just like flipped, my head upside down, if you guys saw just to like get more volume, but I like it big but not like too too big um, just personal preference. I definitely like, as it grows out I wan na there you all go. I Wan na Get It Like shaped um. I want to get it like shaped more, but I do like the length so popping. It'S been like my go-to and like what's been working for me and all of these products like I've, never had any issues with when in working with my hair. So yeah I'm in love, um. Let me show y'all the mirrors. I am, but I look super cute. Okay, hey you guys, I'm gon na be sharing with you. Okay! First of all, the fan it never shuts off, but I'm gon na be showing you guys. My two love buns hairstyle before I go to the gym, just because I'm gon na do it today so for convenience. I'M gon na show you it now, so I don't have to do it twice. I'M gon na show you what I use and the products that I use to do my hair. Normally I shower at night, so I just put my hair in a braid. I did a hair mask last night and just left it in and I'm just gon na continue to leave it in, even though my hair is already dry. Here are the products that I use so first up, Eco gel. I use this to slip back my hair and then I use this gummy edge control. This stuff is literally heaven like I used to use Eco gel for my like edge control and my edges like flag. They would stick up this stuff. Not only does it smell good and it's like a pink color to it, but it really does keep my edges down, especially when I sweat and stuff and then just a spray bottle. This is literally rock hard, but I need a new Edge brush, but I use this Edge brush and then this to slip back my hair. So the first thing I am going to do is I'm going to part my hair sort of kind of down where the Middle, where I want it my part's kind of at the side. So I'm just gon na follow it down to the back of my head. But follow wherever you want the part it's our last video I did get pintora highlights and low lights, so my hair looks a lot darker than it normally does. Look, there's some really like dark pieces. You can't really see it now, because obviously my hair looks funky. Absolutely love it. I think it's more of my natural color and hey for summer, when I get a little tan going, it's gon na look so beautiful and I got the low lights as a gloss, so actually they will fade a little bit. So if I didn't want to go lighter it wouldn't be hard to transition, or if I just wanted to go back to my natural hair color, that's exactly what it'll do it and just put up one side, so it doesn't get in my way to do. Is I'm gon na Spritz majority of this hair? So it's like 50 wet and I'm Gon na Leave the bottom, because I like to leave a lot of curls out so we're just gon na leave these, because I don't want these wet like these. This curly part spring break is in like less than two weeks and I'm so excited to we're having a little girls trip we're going to Florida. I know that's so basic, but I don't even care because I've never gone like I. I don't travel much, I'm just I'm just trying to relax. It'S been hectic. Okay, so now I'm gon na take some gel and just gel down this part right here, slick it back. Actually, that's like even but and like where you want your bun. I, like my back a little bit more like back on my head, not so close to my ear, so you are just gon na put it in a ponytail and then here you're gon na like twist and then bring the hair around. If that makes sense - and so it looks like this right now - but you're gon na pull up the curls that you want out or tuck them in, if you don't want them in like at all and then you're gon na tuck this in and bobby pin whatever You don't like curly pieces, you know, as you can see, but it's also like kind of still behind my ear, if that makes sense like the Bun's not like sticking out like sideways like like Princess Leia or something so now we're going to do the same exact Thing to this side, I take a little bit not too much because I don't want it to like. You know flake and I honestly kind of use it to like push back some of my flurries, because my hair tends to get really frizzy and I just do the edges the way I want them. I can kind of show you guys how I do my edges. Yeah, a little bit of edge, I'm gon na, be looking in my actual mirror a little bit of edge right here of edges, and I kind of just like to swoop these. Like so, and then I do a little swoop here and then kind of make it blend in with the way my hair is going and I'll do the same thing a little bit lower right there and then for these. I just like to do a little a little swoop as well. I pretty much just did the same thing to this side as I did to this. It'S not perfect. Most of the time I'm like in a big rush, but it's cute. The curls are like out here. Let me get y'all, the curls are out, oh, you can see like I just pulled some out. I like it like this, but if you don't like it like that, that's perfectly okay, you can tuck them in you. Can you know roll your hair into a little bun, whatever you want to do? I just really love this hairstyle on me, and so this yeah yeah, hopefully that makes sense hairstyle that we are going to be doing, is the claw clip now I want to preface. I know it's basic, but it's so quick and easy like I just don't be. I just don't have time like. I just don't have time some days that I can just be like and be on my way. You know what I mean. So what we're not gon na do is hate y'all. I do it differently. I don't just like put it up unless, like I'm going to study or something - and I like put it up, quick like this like loose when I go to the gym, I do something different, because my hair doesn't stay in these little baby claw Clips right. So I have like a ton in here so like the buns and such I just wet my hair just a little bit and we're gon na take gel and we're gon na split it back. My hair is kind of already slipped back, I'm not going to use any gel, but what you're gon na do? Here'S? What I do. I put my hair back into a pony, tie my hair into a ponytail like not too tight, but just so it's like back and then what you're gon na do. I'M just gon na put my claw clip right here, just gon na flip, your hair up and I kind of just Bunch, my hair, how I want it then you're just going to stick the claw clip now you can put tuck some pieces away like you. Don'T have to have all this sticking out which I'm gon na tuck some pieces away, because no, but then you have your hair in a claw clip and it looks really good, like your hair. Isn'T gon na like it's not gon na fall, it's not gon na move and then you can like just do your edges. It looks really cute. So I have my edges and stuff done already and everything but yeah. Then you just do your edges. However, you like to stick out curly pieces, tuck them all in for all I care, but then you have your hair in a cute claw clip the next hairstyle that we are gon na do is like a little bun like a slickback bun, which honestly I never Really liked on my head, because I always thought I had a big head, so I was like no like you're, not gon na. Do that because your head shape doesn't go with it, but then I did it one day and I was like oh like this is kind of cute um, so I've started doing ever since it's like this slick back like what all everybody's doing, except I don't use A middle part, I use the part that I have because it's not like in the middle, but it's not on the side. So I like it but yeah. So I'm just gon na wet your hair just a little bit and take some gel there's so much gel in my hair. I'M gon na wash my hair after this, but I kind of just like to like you still want to try to keep like your part. If that makes sense, so I kind of start by like grabbing my hair and like pushing it back into a higher ponytail, and then I'm gon na take my brush to kind of help me. So then, once you get your hair kind of like back like this, I like to grab a little gel and just kind of guide. It again see so now you kind of have it in a pony and it's kind of like back it kind of almost like lifts your face in a way that makes sense. But then what I'm going to do is I'm just going to kind of wrap it make sure you have all your hair and then I'm gon na like leave a lot of the curls at the top, because I think that's super cute and then I'm just gon Na go in with another ponytail and kind of secure that again, just kind of like pick out some of the curls okay. That looks pretty good. I would say, besides, like this girl and then again, I'm just gon na go into edge control. I like to kind of do this different my edges a little different um, so I like to kind of like bring them like down this long way, so it makes it look like you know. My hair isn't like like it's following. This is like the clean girl like hairstyle, but honestly it takes so much time for me to like slick my hair back. So I don't do it like too often, when I have a little bit more time um. But it's like the clean girl hairstyle, which I totally get because it looks really nice and sleek and like sophisticated almost and you know if you're doing like a hair mask or like your hair is greasy. My hair does not get greasy, but if your hair is greasy or you just want to stick it back and get it out your face, this is honestly really cute, but also like nice. What it looks like this is my good side, there's one more hairstyle that I really like on myself and it's a bun as well. So you kind of part like a section of your hair on each side of your head, it's back and on of your face. I used to do this hairstyle so much like a year ago, and it still is super super cute also. It was overplayed for me, but I haven't tried it with my like new, like dyed hair. So you just want to make sure that these pieces here have like a little curl here: okay, yeah, like a little curl, so these pieces are curled here. So then, what you can do I like to do is I like to take my hair and you're just going to put it in a bun and again I like, when my curls are out, I like, when they're, showing I'm gon na fluff, some of them up A little bit and in a ponytail this looks really good, too okay, so here it is in a rainbow bun. But then you have all these curls and I kind of like to like drag some of them to the front, and then I like potty, pins and just kind of like tuck them, so I kind of just tuck and pinned. I also think it's cute when you have like little pieces in the back of your head, like sticking out too. Hopefully the back of my head doesn't look like a mess. I take like a silk scarf and I'll wrap my hair and like, if I'm doing my makeup or like doing something else. I will just leave this on until I leave so then I wrap it like this and then I go like this. So these hold. Oh, it's like this. If that makes sense, and then when I'm ready to like take it off, this would be like stuck flat to my head. This is exactly what we want, so so I'll go. Show you guys out here with the light. This is also a really cute hairstyle that I do like, but it's like not my go-to anymore because, like I said it's overused for me, but it's really cute when I see other people do it so

alexis armour: Aussie’s curl collection is really good. I don’t experience flaking with their products and it holds my hair while not making it crunchy. Their shampoo and conditioner smell so good too!

Aminata Cissé: The hairstylist said that because oil do not hydrate but seal the moisture in the hair so it is recommanded to use water base products for dry hair, love yall curls

Amsonicc: I feel so motivated... when ever I watch u guys videos

ShantéShanté: The Briogeo brand specifically the Don’t Despair Repair Line is sooo so hydrating for my dry curls ! The conditioner and hair masque especially

loveaso_: hey girl! for the shampoo and conditioner definitely try out pattern! my hair more on the curly/kinky side but my hair loves it so much!

LenaLifts: me watching this entire video with flat, pin straight hair like

Dopestudioz: Your hair is so beautiful!!! You and your sister have gorgeous hair! Also y’all skin is always looking flawless! Is it just genetics or do you also have a routine?

sarah gauthier: yayy!! i'm so so happy you made this video, and can i just say you two are a joy to watch and beautiful inside and out ❤❤

Oscar Oscar: I am a fan. Embracing your curls, it's hard to imagine who would do different. Curls are beautiful, you are beautiful. Anyone who would ever think otherwise is either certifiably crazy or terribly jealous.

Oscar Oscar: I am a fan. Embracing your curls, it's hard to imagine who would do different. Curls are beautiful, you are beautiful. Anyone who would ever think otherwise is either certifiably crazy or terribly jealous.

Lawrence: I put my hair in low-maintenance protective hairstyles just because I’m too busy.

Winter Allen: Thanks sharing with us! I always wondered how did you all get your hair to stay in the clip I learned so many in this video! Have a great week ladies ❤

Everafterhighforever: It definitely has grown!! Beautiful

Rina J: 2 to 3 times a week is often for me as someone who is in school I wash mine like every 2 to 3 weeks sometimes 4 but that’s pushing it. I say the amount of times you wash your hair depends on the person honestly.

kenya Braxton: Redken Mega Soft shampoo/conditioner is so bomb I have THICK curly hair and it keeps it hydrated. Camille rose algae renew mask is SUPER HYDRATING. ✨

Angel Barr: Thanks for sharing this information, I have been natural just about all my life and I can't seem to find the right product for my hair, I last bought Carroll daughter and wasn't impressed with it, was on the fence about trying the ones that you recommended

Ndondo Mhlophe: anna you look soo good on the thumbnail with your hair down.

Davinesha Monique: I thought I was the only one who felt like that when my hair is straight I feel like I’m not presenting my real self and I dont feel like my self it’s so crazy when my hair is straight I can wait to go back curly and I dont know what to do with it when it’s straight

shona moraa: Please try the camille rose shampoo and hair mask ..its soo gourmet you'll love it

Amsonicc: I love you guys so much

Nashua Cera: Instead of eco styler gel try twist by ouidad Weather Up Gel Weightless Curl Defining Gel

kell: I recommend camille rose hair products theyre kind of expensive but worth it

Ki Ki: what do you guys ask the hair dresser when you get your hair dyed? i love the color and highlights

Nashua Cera: Oil is good for scalp but not good for the rest of the hair. With you guys dyeing your hair you should do protein treatments atleast 2 times a month. And do deep conditioners every week. Try not to wash your hair too often i would recommend max 2 times a week. And maybe once with a cowash and once with an actual shampoo so you don’t overdry your hair

Junior Chaves o Picasso de Yahushua: Hi. First to all you are sublimely beautiful and your hair looks pretty. How did you transition from natural hair to your curly hair? My mom relaxi my hair but she can't

lin lin: I really like African pride moisture miracle shampoo and conditioner, you should try it if you guys want to

Nashua Cera: Try olaplex and aphogee 2 step treatment. Favorite moisturizing shampoo is tgin rose water hydrating shampoo and conditioner not your mothers royal honey and kalahari desert melon repair and protect conditioner

K: Mielle is the best with products but i some use mouse at all because it leaves a lot of residue in my hair

Hailey Rubi: Fr tho, I don’t need to dress up for school unless I’m going out I’ll dress nice

Kimberly R: My favs❤️❤️❤️

Johnie Boi3: Beautiful ❣️❣️❣️❣️

Belle_Mols: ❤️❤️❤️❤️

kayla marshall: what is the name of the lipgloss you use?

Jennifer Brook: Oil is a sealant not a moisturizer
