Don't Forget To Live Your Extra Life.

Hi beautiful today we're watching some people cut their curly hair bangs. If there's anything harder than cutting straight hair bangs, it's curly hair bangs. Not only does it take technique, but it also takes artisticness artistry. The word is: artistry, it's not just a one snip and done all those curls hang at different heights and every time you style your hair, they're gon na hang at different heights. It'S a lot. We'Re gon na see what kind of technique these people today use. Maybe i can learn a thing or two or maybe i can learn exactly what not to do. Probably that one up. First, we have a video by joya attala. So today i'm going to be cutting some little wispy bangs. So i just want to highlight one thing: she wants wispy bangs. I don't know what wispy bangs looks like on curly hair. I don't know if i would ever describe curly hair of bangs as wispy, but that's just me. I think she means like very thin. Not a lot of hair is that what it is i do need a trim. I do need highlights, but i wasn't gon na trim my hair myself and trim my layers and all that um. I would definitely mess it up and i don't even want to try that, but i feel like bangs are a little bit easier. I would disagree. I would actually start with just trimming some layers just a little thing. You know and then move up to the bang thing, because guess what bangs are short bangs take a long time to grow back bangs are in the front of your face and it's the first thing. People are gon na look at so maybe don't start there. I'Ve trimmed bangs before, but mostly like little side ones, but i kind of want not like full, which is like some little wispy pieces. I watched a video from maine's by mel. She made a video in like 2018 on how to cut your bangs, so she said to cut like in the middle of a curl and cut shorter than where you want it to be. So i think i'm just going to cut it like right here, because it's probably going to bounce up and she said to cut at an angle. I don't know how i'm going to do that with this, but we'll try, okay, okay, we did the first cut. It looks fine, it's fine, okay, oh it's short, too short, so i found this one. I think i'm gon na cut it like the same length like in the middle of this curl. Why would you cut the next piece, the same length as the previous piece when the previous piece was too short? Where is the logic here? What am i missing? Oh, my god, i got them wet just so that way they would start to curl and um definitely made a huge mistake, but i'm just gon na keep cutting the sides. Oh no! No! It'S even worse when it's wet! No, it's okay. Just add more hair from the behind those hairs and make them longer. We can still save this, oh god, it just keeps getting worse, because now we have the hair all up here and then we have the second one all the way down here. Where is the connection there? Let'S get the next piece a little bit longer and a little bit longer a little bit longer. You know, instead of like ain't gon na cut it okay, i dried it a little bit all right. Let'S either cut the hair completely wet or completely dry, let's not cut some dry and some wet because then you're gon na get weird height mixture going on i'm gon na cut another piece a little bit longer than this one. Definitely not feeling this at all. No, i want so much better for her, because she would look so good in the proper bang. I can see the vision. I know what she's thinking, but it's just not being executed correctly. Then i'm disappointed, i'm sad. Okay, i'm gon na pick just like one more just to cut it like a little bit more same thing on this side, so with curly hair, lay it down and cut it where it's naturally falling, don't pull on the hair when you cut it. What will happen? Is you'll cut it down here and it'll spring back to here? You can pull on it a little bit to separate it out, but then let it bounce back and cut okay. She said not really touch it up until, like you wash it next, just to see what happens, so, i'm not gon na do that. I might just add just a little bit more just to this side. No, don't do more. Just stop just stop so um. I actually hate it and i wish i didn't do this because now i look literally hideous. I guess i'm just gon na wait for it to grow. I think after i wash it in a couple days. Maybe it'll look better. I don't really know what to do. These are definitely too short like if they were just a little bit longer. This is not it at all. So, okay, we can fix this situation. What we're gon na do is take some more hair behind the current bangs. You have just a little bit more another layer, we're gon na get that water in there we're gon na. Let them fall, how they naturally fall and we're gon na cut the next layer, on top a bit longer all right to hide the kind of error underneath it'll just add some more volume and texture underneath, because you have those shorter bits underneath the longer hair. Next time, just don't put weight on it when you cut it, but you can fix it, but i agree with you. I don't think it's like the optimal look for you. I don't think it's horrible though, and you could definitely live with this it'll grow. Another half an inch in a month, so you'll probably have your desired bang in a month, but next time, let's just maybe um, not do it ourselves. You know up next, we have a video by jessica eve. I have been natural for about four or five years now and i haven't cut my hair. Since i did my big chop, i saw a lot of girls that just had curly bangs. Now i haven't had bangs for a very, very very long time. I have never cut my hair since it has been curly and i do not know what the outcome is going to be dog nervous. She said she's never cut her hair. Ah so we've no experience and uh great all right at first, i thought. Maybe i should go to the salon, you know get it done professionally, so i don't end up on brad mondo's channel like hair fail. What the hell is that i love a good inception moment they're. My favorite look you're here welcome. Thank you for messing up your hair, so i could make content about it, love you so like everything i do in my life, i watched a few youtube videos already, so i am pretty much a professional now, that's usually how it works. You watch a few videos and you're a professional or you're like me, and you do hair for 10 years and then still nobody thinks you're a professional when most of the videos that i saw, the girls usually put their hair to the front and part it. So we're going to part it first, she has some beautiful hair. I am nervous to see it go and it's very thick which gives me a lot of cutting going on not gon na just go in all willy-nilly. I know you guys are expecting that, but i'm gon na have some order to this chaos. That'S about to start! Oh we're. Gon na do some sectioning. I wouldn't exactly recommend that with curly hair, but at least she's doing something to put in effort. I have some previous knowledge of cutting my bangs, because back in the day when my hair was relaxed, i used to cut my bangs pretty often so i'm thinking it's kind of the same thing kinda. It might not be at all. Okay, so she's doing like a triangular bang section, which i think is fine, i do worry. Well, i'm not really worried. Okay, i'm worried the feeling that i'm having right now is definitely a sense of worry again. She has a lot of hair she's. Cutting this whole chunk going forward, which i think could be really cool, but she needs like layering in there. It can't just all be one length and we need like some roundness to make it all come together, we'll see what the technique is. We are working with all this, i'm going to cut at least to my nose in the center and then i'm going to taper off to the side. That seems like pretty good so far. I don't know what the face i just made was, but i'm like digesting this and i think it's okay so far, so i used to do it. Um line it up with like the arch of my eyebrow and here so i'm going to tuck the part behind me now. The rest of this is just kind of going to be cut straight hold on. I thought you said: cut straight you're, not cutting anything straight right now, you're actually completely doing the opposite, but i'm glad you're not cutting it straight, because that would have been weird. It would have been too far with the straight bangs and the too far too much. Oh, my god, okay, so that's what it's looking like so far. Okay, it looks a bit heavy heavy for sure. Now we're gon na bring these pieces back in. Let'S keep going down in an angle we're putting weight on the hair as we cut it. We can't do that with the curls guys. I'M sure you could. Okay, curly girls don't come after me. The curly girls come after me a lot, so i don't need it today. Love ya, but i will say right now and let's just write this down in front of the screen. I brad mondo, don't know everything about curly hair and never claims to know everything about curly hair period. So i'm glad we got that out of the way. But in my head i would um not put tension on the curls as i cut them, so they don't spring back up and look crazy. Oh god does it look crazy? Let'S just keep going so hard for me to come with my left hand, not not recommended to cut like this. Please don't! Oh, don't! No, don't cut it like that. All right. I think i pretty much have the shape that i want. I'M just gon na wet the bangs. Are you sure that's the shape that you want so this side? You can see it's way longer than the side, so i'm going to cut this up a little bit more just to even it out and i'm going to clean up a little bit. I think i'm pretty much done we're gon na diffuse, this all right. So my hair is semi-dry, so i'm gon na take down the back and we're gon na see how this looks. My bangs look extra crisp right now and my hair just looks like a ashy mess, but i really really like it like i'm really digging. This look at my white patch. What do you guys think like? Let me know in the comments below i think it looks great? Oh, my god, i'm in love! I can't wait till i put my hair up. Okay, look at that! Let'S go! Look! It'S going to be so cute, i'm going to consider this video a half a fail, a half, a success, because those things look incredible. I don't know how you got here. I don't know what just happened. I feel like i'm, what the [ __ ], just, how do they look that good the technique was a fail, but the end result was uh, a plus plus plus plus i love them, but i would love to see the rest of your hair with, like more Shape like oh, you would look so good with like a rounded curly moment with the fringe and that this and that that, and it will look so good. You know what i mean, probably not, but it would look good if you can catch what i'm saying. Congratulations for ruining your fringe and then pulling it all together. Last second, this next video is by x short for megs. I had the idea to cut my own veins honestly, i feel like i'm gon na mess it up. It'S just hair so like it grows back and if i [ __ ] it up, i [ __ ] it up and it grows back see that's what i always say when i cut my hair or like color it, but i will still keep telling myself that It grows back because it does, but logistically it takes for a year to grow back too long. Yeah. My unprofessional cutting scissors, oh, is that what professional hair cutting scissors look like nowadays, you're right, you guys, i really am not a professional. Am i i don't even know what professional hair cutting scissors look like, so i'm just gon na hope and pray. This works out um, it's probably not going to um. I don't recommend this we're doing all that hair. Aren'T we we're cutting all of that all right? Oh no, why do we go in like that and cut so much at once? I, like literally, don't think this is gon na work. What is even going on, i don't think she's using one bit of technique. We are just going for it. Oh, it's getting so short, oh, why are we cutting upwards? Where are the scissors we're going so far up everything where what um? I literally think this is like the worst thing i've done in my life um. I don't know what you've done in your life, but this probably does top one of the worst things you've ever done all right, let's wet the hair. Let'S not do that. Let'S make these bang rounded. You know go a little short in the middle and a little round on the sides and it'll really help the whole look come together. Yeah that looks really bad. Also, i don't know why i cut these pieces. Just ignore the fact that i did that she's. Absolutely not still cutting it. I just know that she's not doing that. I know you're not doing that. I hate that i can't really see what she's doing, but then every time she puts her head down into the screen, it's even worse. I don't think i can savor this. I'M not really realizing the extent of my damage right now, i'm kind of not processing it. I just like keep putting more hair and like hope it like it's better. You know what i mean. I literally am sitting here being like oh she's done like i couldn't get any worse still in there cutting cutting more. I don't know why. I really don't it just keeps getting worse. It just keeps gaming. Oh, i feel so bad. I want to help her it's salvageable with a good style. You know we can make it look. Good anything looks good when your hair is styled. Well, i don't think it looks much better right here looks good when you put it down, it looks like [ __ ], oh maybe i didn't. We need to like blend everything in it's too long and heavy with the short you know. Everything needs to be kind of like rounded out a little bit. Well, it's a look um, but it's not necessarily a good look. Thankfully, i can you know just like put it back and put it in like bobby pins for anyone wondering if you they think it's a good idea to like cut their own bangs at home. I don't recommend it. I mean maybe i'll go into liking it, but the thing is, i don't think i like it. Ah not much went right. I actually don't think anything really did but um they'll grow back quick and um we're not gon na. Do it again right and then, if we do it again, we should figure out how to properly do it. You can definitely clip your hair back or wear it in like a ponytail or something. If you want to just wait until they grow, we can hide them and be fine right. Well, i'm gon na be recovering for the rest of the week. From the trauma i experienced today, um scary, you guys like check out my hair care and my hair color brand, so your hair doesn't fall off and turn to [ __ ] then do it. barramundi: let's be honest, the third girl wasn't even paying attention to what she was doing, she just kept cutting completely random pieces of hair in the most random way possible

Sarah O’Hern: That last girl is a prime example of how ridiculous it is that adulthood is 100% unsupervised.

Mara Jones: "Or you do hairdressing for 10 years and no one thinks you're a professional...haha..haha...fuck my life" Brad I felt that in my soul.

Bobbi Jo: As a curly girl who has been cutting her own hair for 10+ years now, I can tell you that you are absolutely 100% correct in saying that you shouldn’t pull on the hairs as you cut them. Also, always always always cut LESS than you think you should! When you have long hair, the weight of it creates looser curls, but then when you cut it, it coils up tighter and tighter, so taking away 1 actual inch could take away 2 visual inches, if that makes any sense.

алиса: can we all agree that Brad looks extremely good today?? i mean the nails, the hairstyle, the leather vest, so beautiful

Carmen Attallah: As a curly girl I would have to say a lot of hair stylists don’t know how to cut curly hair. I’ve had stylists wet my hair down and then put tension on it and cut it like it is straight. It ends up waaaaay too short and does not look good. I’ve cut my own for so many years now. The good thing is the curls hide a multitude of sins.

Julia JS: OMG, the second girl is just too precious. She's gorgeous, her hair is gorgeous, she's cute... Not relaxing her hair any more was an awesome decision on her part!

Chelsy: I don’t understand why people still say that Brad isn’t a professional hairstylist

carlyinrome: As a person with really curly hair, you kind of have to learn to be your own expert, because—I'm sorry—the vast majority of stylists do not know how to treat your hair. So watching these videos (especially the first one), I was really stunned by some of the choices these girls made, because I KNOW they knew better. I also will never understand the impulse, "Oh no I messed up it's too short I guess I'll keep cutting."

Kay Jack: Watching that first girl pull her curls down while cutting was like nails on a chalk board. Everyone knows that's curly cutting rule #1 ‍♀️

Shenique Francke: I agree with Brad!! As someone with curls, cutting my hair while applying any tension is always a no go for my hair type.

It's Rebe: Just an update, Brad... I bought a ton of your hair products and no product has EVER impressed me this much. Kudos to you and thank you.

Natasha M: I cut a fringe in my curly hair in 2020 and have been trimming it myself ever since. It was watching videos like this that helped me to understand what not to do and it turned out amazing. It was the best thing I've ever done for my hair

Mary Sala: OMG, 6 minutes and I'm dying. LOVE that little dig " or you do hair for 10 years and still nobody thinks you're a professional ". LOVE YOU!

umusty: For anyone that fucked up their curly bangs. Eco gel. Slick back. Forget about it. You'll grow to love it. Unlike your bangs

Apple Farm: ANYONE with CURLY hair. Manes by Mel is an amazing curly hair educator and professional stylist. She recently uploaded a video in detail about how to cut curly bangs. Along with several other videos on topics such as “How do you know if you have too much protein or moisture in your hair”, and “How to diffuse hair” She has playlists in her channel, where you can find these videos as well. God Bless.✨

Amy Amelia: Who doesn’t think Brad is a professional hairdresser? Of course he is. And his colour is the best formula I’ve used x

V B: I actually yelled “STOP IT” reflexively at the girl in tie dye. Put down the kitchen scissors baby

Mari: the last girl had me speechless, i literally know nothing about cutting hair but that was all sorts of wrong lol

C Bryce: The second woman, her eyes are really beautiful and would pop with a super short or shaved head. The first one, nothing could make her look bad.

Kyla Janelle: since brad isn’t a curly hair professional i think it would be really cool to see him reach out to some black curly hair specialists to do a video. It’s also not a bad idea to go back to school and learn how to specialize in curly hair as well or at least get a little more knowledge!

EkkiSnerta: It’s so scary going to a salon with curly hair because so often hairdressers will cut your hair badly instead of just saying they don’t know how to cut curly hair - I would rather fuck up my own hair than pay 100$ for a bad haircut

eliaslo6cs: As a curly girl I actually really liked how 1 & 2 turned out. Getting bangs right with curls is super difficult in general and not everyone can pull it off. 3rd girl....just no to those bangs. Second one was the best in my opinion but the first one wasn't all bad. It was kinda cute, more juvenile looking, but not terrible.

A Willo: Ignore the haters Brad! You are an amazing professional and have saved soooooo many of us from hair disasters ❤️ sending much love x

SUBB FOR SUBB BACK: " Trust takes years to build, seconds to breaks and forever to repair" That's an amazing quote right there .

Calla Soreon: As a person with curls that cuts my own bangs often the two big no-nos when cutting them is 1)pulling them down AT ALL. (2)wetting them. Just trim them completely dry, and DO cut them lower than you want them to be- how much lower depends on how tight your curls are. For mine I normally do 1/2" and they come out great. Basically cut curls like you are trimming a topiary

Denise Fenstermacher: Brads video gives me life at my worst times. I work at a salon, I have clients and stylists talk so much about him (postive). He is so inspiring for all audiences

Universal Hobo: LOOOL i think they all turned out ok!

Lorena E: BRAD YOU'RE 100% RIGHT!!! Don't put tension on your hair when trimming or cutting curly bangs!!! The shorter the hair the more shrinkage you'll get.

Angi: I am sorry that you were traumatized by the bang cutting today. I was very traumatized by the third young lady. I kept screaming STOP. I am no professional, but I know from going to get my hair done and your tutorials that this was horrible. There were times it could have been fixed. I think now the only thing she can do is a good shag with lots of layers to hide that mistake.

LCandice: “It always grows back” yeah but if you have curly hair you know curls, specially twirly, coily curls take twice the time to show any growth because of shrinkage, that style will stay with you for a while, because of that please if you can save up a few coins go to a professional stylist.

Debra Fisher: I always love hearing Brad say "Hi beautiful." It puts a smile on my face every time.

Clee Torres: Me literally a few hours ago “I should cut my bangs now that I’m starting to wear my hair curly” Also me “… but not tonight, I’m feeling a bit lazy” Then comes Brad to the rescue bringing me back to reality

Lol Ok: Honestly the first girl just needs to wait like a week or two for her hair to grow to the perfect length. Her bangs look really cute I think

Rebecca Stewart: I kept saying “just stop” to that third girl. Yikes! That was painful to watch!

Kaylee Roze: In her defense , she did say “UN-professional” hair cutting scissors at 12:04 . Poor thing she deserves the roast but she should have expected that reaction/final look

Miri Meerkat: Ngl Brad’s videos have helped me avoid ruining my hair. I bleached it at home after watching his advice and it was nice. I am applying to a cosmetology school now tho cuz I want to be a legit stylist

Azzazelynn: I trimmed my bangs myself because I kept hearing "coily hair is really forgiving. If you mess up it's easy to hide" which I guess it's not _completely_ false because I don't look hideous. But there's definitely something that went...wrong...? When my hair dries, the bangs don't lay flat on my forehead anymore. They lift up slightly. Wind is now my nemesis.

Camilla VonMila: Dear Brad, you are amazing, gorgeous, beautiful, and super cool. Just know that we love you and will always enjoy watching your videos <3

fluffyspunsugar: Curly girl here. When I straighten my hair, before I get to the other side, there is a 4 inch difference between the still curly & the straightened side. That's how much my hair shrinks. So, you can't pull on a curl and cut it without it boinging up shorter than you expected. My coworkers used to tease me about being the only person they knew who could get their haircut and come out of the salon with longer (looking) hair (curly vs. straightened).

MsEyelinered: The curly community appreciates the statement. Fr. We take this kind of stuff seriously. You're right about the tension -- not a good choice!

Eliz Maerivoet: I love that you keep giving tips to your viewers even tho some of them clearly don't listen Thank you Brad we love you!

Carla Moore: I think the second video of the lady that is cutting her bangs turned out surprisingly well and there is absolutely no way that I would cut my curly hair for myself. Because I just don't think I'd be that lucky. I'm trusting the pros to cut my hair. I love how you keep educating us on how we can take care of our hair.

Corrie Elliott: Brad this video is everything!! My mum is half Jamaican and has super curly afro hair ❤️! I always beg her to let me play with her hair and she never lets me‍♀️. I have curly hair and I’ve recently decided I need to embrace my curls! Your videos give me life and they never fail to inspire me to experiment with my hair! I love you Brad and thank you so much for being such an icon! ❤️❤️❤️ xx

Rachel S: No disclaimer needed, Brad. You are absolutely correct about not pulling the curls down and every curly girl should know that.

Yolanda Nguyen: I would love to see men/boys cutting their own hair fails !! :D

María Radical Reads: I recently cut my bangs too short. I decided to just style them to the side. My hair just curls up and to the side, and it actually looks like I styled it with a curling iron. Curly hair can hide many mistakes, especially if you have high density. I also think layers compliment bangs. I used to be afraid of layers, but I love the effect they create! Layers and bangs look super cute!!

Kai: 2 lessons I've learned from cutting my curly bangs. 1. Do not cut it when wet because shrinkage happens. 2. Don't pull down the hair strands, because, of shrinkage. Unless you want micro-bangs, don't do the above mistakes I've made

Alexandria Johnson: I think Brad is the only YouTuber I’ve never not liked, been disappointed by or not enjoyed one of his videos. 3 years and I still love you Brad

Marlena k8: OMG, I have natural curls and watching these girls pulling their curls straight before cutting them gave me SO much anxiety!! I was literally yelling at my phone. LOL Let the curl hang loose and cut, that way it doesn't end up 2 inches too short!

Samantha Escochea: I'm living for the "you watch a few videos and you're a professional.. or you're like my and do hair for 10 years and NOBODY thinks you're a professional" I was actually dying!

abc: Hey Brad! I keep binge watching your hair fail videos and I was thinking it would really cool to see how you’d fix some of these. Maybe you could have a series where you recreate the fail on a wig and show us how you’d fix it? Not sure if it’s possible but I think it would be so cool! I got the idea from Ann Reardon who has a series where she fixes cake fails and I find it really informative and entertaining!

Alex Suárez: Thanks for doing more curly hair videos. Just a tip for everyone: if you have curly hair and always wear it natural, just form the curls to the front and never ever straight them, don't pull them, just cut them were they naturally form. That's it.

Gloria: As a member of the curly girl council, we thank you for acknowledging that. ❤❤

izzy: is it just me who thinks the first girls hair looks really good? i feel like the curly bang really suits her

ima_gina_tion_kay: I love that you are doing curly hair videos! I did the big cut 5 years ago ! And I'm loving how my hair been growing out best thing i ever did would love to see more curly hair videos !!

XgalexycangachaX: I have curly hair just like the second girl in this video just a lighter colour and my mum straightened my hair, and started cutting down diagonally on both side from my chin to see how it looked bc I was curious and we thought I wouldn’t end up having anything different when my hair bounced back but when it did it was like BOOM ✨perfect curly bangs✨

LadyBird 93: I cut my own curly bangs about a month ago after watching a million videos (including brads), and it turned out semi ok. Like the thickness of it worked well with my curl pattern and they were a good length, but I really struggled to blend the sides down into the rest of my hair. Luckily it was an easy fix for my stylist, but I don’t think I’ll try and cut them myself again my hair was looking pretty blocky for a week or two there. These videos scare me

Naturally Beautiful: Brad im sorry we come after you. Just know you are great and even when we a little shady we keep coming for more of your videos lol

Christy In The Carolinas: I actually think though the first girls bangs are slightly too short, she looks amazing! I love her hair. I'm so jealous!

Landooooooo Gaming: Oh how I love every video so much ... saving slowly to try the curly products and heat sheikd ... last two years have been a bit rough but I can always count on Brad to make me laugh

Elizabeth Affeldt: As a curly girl who almost scalped my bangs in middle school this was terribly traumatic for me lol. Every time they pulled on their hair to cut I yelled.

Francesca Moran: Before doing bangs for myself some days ago I went to 3 hairstylist with a picture of how I wanted my bangs and neither of them did what I wanted. I knew the model of what I expected because almost all my life I had bangs. My hairstylists did it super long or they did it with so little hair. So I decided to do it myself with a tutorial of yours because I remembered that I watched something about products of hair that I liked. And I don’t know how to really cut my hair but it turned out perfect with your help. (Also, my hair is wavy and it’s not that complex as curly hair) Thanks, Love you Brad ❤️ You have the talent✨

Tammi Sieminski: I love you Brad! You always make me laugh & I love your honesty

Amna Al Hawaj: Him: grow up in a salon, have a degree in cosmetology, specialise in hair coloring at a leading salon, grow your own brand to the point where you have successful hair care brand. The internet: YoURe nOt a pRoFesSiOnAl.

Aamber H.: Oh no. This takes me back to cutting my curly bangs in high school. I went into this knowing exactly what to expect and yet…. I am still shocked.

Brianna B: I have curly hair, a couple weeks ago I had the sudden desire to cut bangs. I resisted the impulse and thought about it, then decided it was an incredibly bad idea. I am now very glad I didn’t try this

Unconditional Ascension: lmao this is NOT how manes by Mel tells you to cut your bangs girl messed up right away bruh lmao literally an exact copy of brad screaming at ppl to stop toning with 218 on dark blond hair lmao but why watch the whole tutorial or follow it

Kikki K: I feel like we all had a phase where we attempted to cut our own bangs/fringe but when we were 12ish? And spent months wearing head bands and clippers

moemanda: Perfect timing on this video. I was going to cut my curls after my wash today. Not anymore. Thank you.

GothicJenocide: “The word is artistry” you’re my fav, brad. Always make me laugh. Much love.

Jinde Jak: The best hair stylist I ever had had the same curls as me. She knew exactly how to cut/style and work the curl. Too many expert stylists that messed up in major ways. Brad, the haters are jealous. Ignore them. The first two looked cute the third, umm I got nothing. Lol

Holly Drucker: Hey Brad, I have wavy thick hair and after looking at these videos i will let the pros cut my hair. Love your videos. Take care!

Somer Koehn: I have mixture of 2C and 3A hair and have been cutting my own bangs since I was 19. I am 33 and have had bangs since 15 LOL. It takes soooooo much practice and so many oops moments to learn the perfect bang cutting techniques for your hair. I actually will not allow a stylist to cut my bangs because I am never happy unless I cute them

Ruth Epstein: That girl did not follow Meks method. And you should stop being so dispariging about Mel. I am 70 next month. And all my life I've always straightened my hair. Then I got sick and was not able to use a hairdryer anymore. Hello curls. Far more than I thought. If I hadn't stumbled across Manes by Mel, a "Professional hairdresser and curly technician", my hair would be in a right mess. Your problem Brad is that you are way too cocky. And that makes you unlikable. Is this professional jealousy? Because quite frankly, I think Mel talks far more sense than you. Now remember. In future, check the facts properly, especially when Mel gets all tecnical, she knows what she's talking about. Be nice.....?

Smack: Third girl was one of the most chaotic haircuts I’ve ever seen in my life. Just hacking away at everything

Dee Jay: Second girl was stunning!! I was very scared watching her technique, too, but I’m glad she had so much confidence with what she was doing cause she sure pulled it off!! Super cute end result.

Gabi Burns: I am so thankful that the only time I tried to cut my own bangs I cut them very long and then was able to get in with a stylist the next day to get it corrected. I have stuck with my girl ever since, almost 5 years strong!

Pamela Carlin: Man when that 2nd girl finished I was so happy for her!!! Plus, her eyes just popped with those bangs. She was absolutely gorgeous

mistressmozart: yeah....I have curly hair and had this bright idea to cut bangs. Watched a bunch of curly-haired women cutting their bangs successfully and thought i could do it. Looked fine the night i did it, and even the next day, but then no. My hair grows so slowly as well and i was stuck with stupid hair for almost a year!

tarinacj03: I've been cutting my own hair/bangs for years now and I cut my bangs similar to how the second woman did them. If I've learned anything from my experience it's 1. Cut less than you want to and 2. If your hair is curly enough it'll work out

Bella Cullen: I've got hair like the girl in the first video, and I cut my own Bangs. The things about curls is that you can get thicker or thinner ones depending on the brush you use(so a wider toothed comb or a brush with spaces or bristles will make your curls thicker and more hair kinda stick together, where as a comb with teeth close together will have the opposite effect). So on a day When I don't want Bangs, I brush my hair with a wider toothed comb so they group into the curls on the sides of my hair, and you really can't tell the difference. Edit: spelling errors

Scarface: I watch this after trimming my bangs. They turned out good, as always, by the way❤️

High Frequency: The third girl omg she had me laughing so hard with her cut at the same time i felt so bad for her cause I've ruined my bangs a handful of times and just kept cutting even though i knew i should stop.

Karen McCann: I loved the 2nd girls hair the best. Her hair is gorgeous! As well as the first girls hair. Hers is very pretty too.

Yasmin Matos: LITERALLY LOVING THIS LOOK ON YOU BOO!! YOU’RE GLOWING !!

𝚜𝚡𝚊: I actually love the first girls hair it looks good idk why they don’t like it

Panabe Family: Also I’ve actually cut curtain bangs with my curly hair before and I actually watched your video on how to cut curtain bangs the problem was back then I didn’t know that it’s different to cut bangs on curly hair than straight hair so my bangs came out bad but then I just let it stay on my head and grew to like it, but my curtain bangs have almost fully grown back to it’s normally length since I cut it in 2020, I think. Ahaha sorry for my long comment I just like seeing people react to curly hair especially when Brad Mondo reacts to them.

MazeofLife: As a girl with curly hair, I am SO glad I never recorded when I decided to cut my hair short... TWICE.. The current one's been growing back out since January... And YES I tried to do bangs, curtain bangs to be exact. doesn't look horrible now but makes me think that I gave myself a bit of a mullet

HeyChanelle: Thank you for reminding me why I pay £100 for a curl by curl cut with a curly hair specialist

Holly Golightly: Loving the hair, Brad!! I mean, I always love your hair but I love this natural color!

Bailey Corne: One thing I learned when cutting my own curls is IF you are going to put tension/water on the curl be sure you measure how far it bounces back up and then add that measurement to where you want your cut to sit, if that makes sense

Frankie Dominguez: The second girl's hair and beauty was just so good, she could do no harm with bad technique!

Harley Quinn: "I wanna help heeerrrrr!!" brad is so cute lol he just wants everyone to live their best hair life!!! Love it!

Tanner Tanner: Just discovered your channel. I have sampled many of your videos from over the years which is hilarious to me. I'm not interested in the things you're interested in but this is Youtube where a person can get lost down any rabbit hole and here I am. I just want to say that I'm subscribing because you are so cute in absolutely any look and I love the way you talk. You're funny and kind. Never change, unless you want to.

하늘카티: I cried watching the last girl... I just couldn't, I'm so sorry but that felt like a fever dream (pretty haircolour though and love the energy)

Ella Rose: ♥️♥️ I want to point out to you Brad that there are always going to be haters but don't let them get to you. If they're hating, that's their problem, not yours. Love you!! ♥️♥️♥️

Nikki Martinez: Dang, I wish I could get a haircut from Brad. One of my dreams!

Jassie K: Your hair looking so good today Brad

Carol Chinellato: I honestly loved the bangs on the first girl, she's so pretty that everything looks good.
