Baby love me you're telling me I could have done that this whole time, I'm gon na give it a try. I start by getting a chunk and splitting it in half, and the bottom piece goes on top of the top piece like that now with the piece that was on top you're gon na grab some more hair and put it on top of the bottom piece, and Just continue doing that continue, overlaying and adding New pieces. Then, when you reach the end, you'll definitely have some hair left so that you'll just use that, as like your third braid Strand and just braid normally into the bottom, then do the same thing. On the other side, I went ahead and reded this one because it was a bit messy up here, but it's for my first attempt not that bad. Obviously, I need to get better at it, but I do prefer these to normal braids because they add a little bit of spice. Let me know if these have a name, but that's it for now. Bye, friends,

TheYankeeBuckeye: I've been doing this for several years. It gets better over time. Love how well yours turned out, first shot! Something you might try is taking the braids and creating a bun by weaving them through the opposite side at the point where the twist turns into braid. Create a type of figure-8 until you have two short ends, bring them together with a hairtie/elastic and tuck that behind the bun.

kitterKake: hi!! my hair is also super long and I love french twists into braids! TIP!! it's not just laying the pieces over, the thing that keeps tension is twisting the strand the opposite direction of the piece you are twisting it with... does that make sense? much easier to show, sorry because it ends up being the strands are trying to untwist, and that tension keeps the braid tight! also adds nice rolls into the top, sometimes I skip adding hair until the second twist at the start so it gets a more defined twisty bit. It looks pretty cool Btw you rope braid by just taking you two pieces and twisting each of the them the same direction, then twirling them together in the plosive direction you twisted them all the wall down if that makes sense
