Hello, everyone Welcome back. This is Ted from Ted's Wig Emporium.. I am super excited to bring you a review of Laura by Jon Renau from the Professional collection in Salted Caramel.. This wig has been sent to me by Aspire-hair in the UK so that I can review her for you. So without further ado. Let'S have a look at Laura Guys. I'Ve been wanting to try Laura ever since the professional collection came out, but because this is a boutique exclusive style, we can only purchase her from brick and mortar stores- she's not available online. She comes in a beautiful box just like this, and it is just a dream. If I had to compare this wig to any other style, it would definitely be Mesmerized by Raquel Welch. So if you like the look of Mesmerized but perhaps you're a little nervous about the high maintenance of the heat friendly synthetic fibres, you might want to give Laura a try.. This is a very similar style with beautiful long layers. Framing your face. It'S a very nice density wig as well. It'S not too thick, it's not too thin. It is just perfect. Let me start by giving you a spin, starting with my left hand, side At the back and my right hand, side. The measurements are 10 inches here at the front, so that's just under my chin.. You can quite easily brush this onto the side. Crown measures. 16 inches sides also measure 16 inches, the nape measures 15 and a half. So overall, this is about 23 inches long on my 5 foot, 1 frame. It might look slightly longer than it perhaps would on you She's also quite similar to Zara. So if you find Zara too dense, Laura is definitely that step down from Zara sort of in between Zara lite and Zara original. Let me show you the pony test here. I think it's a very believable density, it's not too thinned out at the at the bottom. Like Zara lite, it looks like a very natural, healthy long, hair, Laura comes with an open cap construction with a full monofilament top and a lace front. The cap is very true to average. I find it is slightly big on me not too much. It does feel very comfortable. I am finding some permatease on this style throughout the cap, but they are kept to a minimum.. You are not getting that pillowy effect at all on that, but the permatease do help to maintain that style and to ensure that the wig gets this lovely contour around the sides and the back. There is no permatease here on top, if feels nice and flat here on my head., let me come closer to show you that beautiful lace. I do like the fact that Jon Renau is bringing some of the highlights forward around the face here, so that obscures the knots and creates a very natural looking hairline here is the coverage very comfortable. Here is the parting. I have already changed the parting to the right hand side, but you can of course, part it to the left to the centre. What I really love about the full monofilament top - it's not just the freedom of parting area, but it also helps to maintain the longevity of that monofilament, because I find, if you only ever part your hair on one side. You can eventually, with time, see some thinning around that area because of use of combs because of the way we style it and pull on the hair. You can sometimes see some hairloss around the parting. For me personally, there are two factors that determine if the wig fits me comfortably or not, and one of them is the ability to wear my glasses. Let me show you what Laura looks like with the frames on you can see here. The frames fit just below the ear tabs, which means they are not adding to the bulk on the side, which is really nice and comfortable. The other factor is the ability to tuck my hair behind my ears, I'm a typical ear attacker. I always do that and I feel more comfortable when I'm not seeing a bulk on the sides. The standard synthetic fibre looks and feels just like human hair. Would. It is extremely fine in denier and slightly on a drier side, which means you are not going to get a lot of shine when you're out and about in the sunshine. It really does feel soft and silky, Because this is such a long style. You will find it does tangle a little bit like with all synthetic fibers. You need to get one of those wide tooth, combs and very very gently brush it from the bottom up just to loosen those fibers when they become tangled. What I also find useful is using silicone treatment at the ends of the fibers. I typically use the Ellen Wille Hair Liquid Tip, which works really well and adds a beautiful coating to the bottom of the layers. So before we talk about the cap construction, let me guys quickly talk to you about this beautiful Salted, Caramel color, the code for that is fs. 26 31 s 6, and this is a beautiful blend of caramel auburn brown with chunky blonde highlights throughout. We are also getting a number six root, which is a dark brown root. But what is really nice is that Jon Renau has brought forward. Those lighter highlights here at the front, so you can't see any of the knots from the number six root. A similar color. You might also like is Jon Renau's, Shaded, Pralines and Cream, which is a lighter version of Salted Caramel. Okay, let's have a look at the cap construction. Next, We are getting a beautiful lace front here: Full monofilament top open sides and back extended nape with the very soft material at the nape with velcro adjusters. So you can cinch them in depending on the size of your head. We are also getting a very soft, lined ear tabs with the metal stays and they are also under knotted just slightly giving it even more natural appearance here on the sides giving you a really good coverage. There is some level of stretch here. I have seen some other reviews of Laura and you can wear her quite comfortably, even with a 23 inch circumference When it comes to styling. I find much easier to use a fabric scrunchie like this. Instead of a standard hair band, because the hair is so long, it takes quite a lot of effort to put it in a pony so using a fabric, one fabric, scrunchie. I find that job much easier here she is in a pony. You can have a side pony or a side braid. You can push the hair away from your face because of that beautiful lace, front use different clips. I like to use some of these just to pull sections of the hair away. You can even use your twists. You can go for a halfway up halfway down kind of a style and on a hot day like today, we are having 30 degrees Celsius temperatures this week. So your best option would be to take all of that hair and pin it up with a claw clip like this one, Okay guys. So this was Laura from the professional collection by Jon Renau. If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below. Thank you very much for watching and see you next time. Take care bye,
