All right, hey, you guys so just say kind of random video. What my sister came to visit at the end of January and she needed her hair done because she was going to Costa Rica um in a few weeks. So I mean you guys. My tree is still up just know. This was the end of January, and now I'm posting like the end of February. It'S just been sitting in the archives, but anyways um, so yeah. She wanted her hair done. How I had mine, which was these twists, so I started off the night before, and I just put in about 13 cornrows that you guys saw right in the front just going back kind of like not even half of her head. But you know just about to her ears um and then I'm gon na start braiding from the back using my lock in gel love this stuff. It does not flake on me. It doesn't do anything you guys it's such a good braiding gel. Oh my gosh! So happy I discovered it. I have about three um gels that I've been like just using in rotation. Lately I will put them down below in the description box. You guys. I think you will love them just as much as I do, but yeah did you guys see those cornrows in the front. They were a little slanted, but okay, good job me. You know I I am my braiding skills are getting so much better anyway, so I'm starting off well, not starting off, so I'm doing her cornrows going horizontal so that they lay much flatter and if she wanted to pull them up from the back, she can do That so I'm doing like just the S and then they will all meet in the centers. We were a little pressed for time, y'all, so the top which you'll see in just a second those like two braids at the top were just a little bit bulky. For me, but I really didn't, have a choice because we had to hurry it up so next time. I think I would end end up splitting the braids right at the top, but I'm just gon na go ahead and crochet. What'S left over into the braid in the middle and her foundation, is nice done everything tucked away nice and neat um? Her hair is moisturized um it just everything, just looks good, really, really good protective style, especially for the base, so got that out the way. Next. This is the hair that I'm using you guys. I'Ve shown this hair before when I did my braids, but I don't think I show like the packages or anything like that. These are the twists. They'Re super small, very lightweight as well, depending on how many you put in your head, so I'm just gon na start. Crocheting these in, like normal um, we were watching while we're watching you people have you guys watched that on Netflix, yet with Lauren, London and um Eddie Murphy - and I can't remember the other guy but anyways yeah. I made my sisters start to crochet some, but she was like not doing a good job, so I was like okay, Maya, no I'll just do it all, so I ended up crocheting it all by myself, um, because she was messing up my work. So I think the reason why some people's crochet just looks way too bulky in the front is because they don't stagger their braids um. You don't have to stagger every cornrow, but I do recommend staggering. Maybe if you do two staggers do one the next cornrows. That'S close together, then I do another stagger like kind of just switch it up in between, so that the front of the head looks nice and natural, and it's not too bulky and not too much hair and also not too much tension, especially if you have you Know thinner, hair in the front or around your edges, even though these are lightweight you just don't want to run the risk of any kind of hair doesn't matter if it's lightweight heavy whatever, like you just, don't want to run the risk of your hair coming out Around your perimeters, also, you guys I did braid her edges as much much as I possibly could, because that's what she asked for, I asked Maya did she want to have you know more um of her baby, hair out or left, and she was like braided all Up as much as possible - and I totally agree especially if you're going on vacation or you want to keep the style in because over time, um. If you take out too much of your edges like in the beginning, it's just gon na not look as nice and neat and fresh um faster. So I say braid it all up and over time those edges will loosen up. They'Ll come out and you'll have end up having more dramatic edges than maybe you want it anyway, so yeah. This is how we're looking y'all after I install basically all the hair. I use two packs um and honestly I'll be honest with you guys. She said it was Heavy um, it wasn't heavy the first day for her and she was fine, but I think on day three, she was like. Okay, it's a little heavy. For me. It wasn't killing her, but it had also been a while, since she had any kind of sprays or anything in her head now, when I did my hair, I did not put all of the packs in and I purposely did it for her and I told Maya I told my sister I'm putting all this hair in so that at least it's nice and full and you can figure out. You know you can take some out if you want to she could have you know my mom help her. You know take some out, but at least she knew going you know from today and then her um her trip that she wouldn't have any gaps or anything. The hair was just nice and full and looking good, so I purposely did it so just keep that in mind so yeah, I'm just adding some foam. You guys, and I just kind of worked it in another alternative to foam that does really well with this hair. Is a little bit of water, which I showed on a previous video? I will put that video in the description box a little bit of water and then the got to be glue gel, that's like in the black tube um. That works really well with keeping this hair, nice and neat. But we just went on ahead and did some foam today. I clearly could not get this um scarf around her head by myself, so she ended up doing that added a little bit more foam and the hair ended up being really pretty you guys. I think she was really actually. I know she really liked it. She loved it, um just style and everything and it was cheap. It was not super expensive. I think it was like 60 or 65 dollars for this style plus I did it, so she didn't even have to pay me because whenever my sister come to town, I'mma always do her hair, where the Sheep like whether she wants me to do it or not. Nine times out to ten, she absolutely wants me to do it, so she didn't have to do it herself. So yeah you guys. This is how we're looking this is the final look. I knew how she was gon na wear it. This is just my sister's go-to Style with any kind of braids. She just does it like just pull back um just out of her face kind of like a half up, half down, look and that's it. So, thank you guys so much for watching this quick little video I'll put everything down below in this in the description box for you, so the hair, the gels that I used all that great stuff and yeah. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you guys so much for watching. I will talk to you guys in my next one bye thanks. Please
