Hey there good people welcome back, as you can see I've already gotten this party squatting Roy. It'S been like weeks since I washed my hair, maybe four like the last time I came, it was three and then I stressed out even further, because I put my hair into this beautiful bun. I used Eagle, Styler crystals. The only reason I use Eco Styler comment below if you've noticed that I never ever used Eco styler on a regular braces for washroom goes like I tried things for y'all, but I never used it. I like it for slicking back my hair. That'S it gave me an amazing Vine that I wore for five whole days and now we're gon na do something fun. We'Re gon na. Do a foam only wash and go so in this video. I'M going to show you how I apply the foam for Optimum results. I'Ve done this before we've practiced, so we're here now they're showing multi-day hair. I'M going to show you how I maintain it, but in the meantime, in between time, I'm gon na go ahead and put on a face mask. While I deep condition - and I'm gon na make breakfast - which I think is going to be a smoothie - because it's quick easy and I don't want to do a lot and um then it'll be time to apply some foams. I can't move this because there's a mirror right here and I need a mirror because, when using foam I actually need a mirror for my wash and go and you'll see in a bit. Why so we're using two Foams here? Two that you guys want me to use to find out which one has the stronger hold, I'm not putting anything under these. I just rinse the conditioner out apply a little moisturizer to my face and now we're going to go ahead and do this. I do have some water in my spray bottle here to keep my hair wet as we go, because that is how I want to make sure that I'm going to get the same result all the way around. I'M gon na keep this nice and controlled experiment here. This is what it looks like before right. This is what my hair, my texture, just generally, looks like without anything in it at all. So I'm gon na treat this kind of like a treat my typical Martian girl, meaning I'm still gon na. Do it in sections to make sure the foam is getting everywhere. The trick here is using enough foam. That'S that's tricky right. So um I usually use two pumps per twist right when I'm twisting, so I don't know we're gon na use. Let'S say three pumps on this section: put it in there and then I'm gon na do something that I I don't typically do with my wash and goes like. This is something I very rarely do, but this is going to be the best way to ensure that the product is getting everywhere and that is shingle. Y'All know how I feel about shingling. I don't love it. It takes so much time, but we're gon na. Do it to ensure that we're getting the product everywhere, uh, especially at the roots and and evenly really, is what we're going for even product application and then we'll be done, especially since I'm using one product? I have been doing this like super fast. I'Ve been doing it in different ways like that. Didn'T take a long time right, um, but you could see like the definition is there and I don't have a bunch of frizz. This product does not give me a lot of hydration. I want to say that it gives me very, very strong hold, but your hair does need to be hydrated and conditioned if you're going to only use a foam um with either one of these products. Actually, because they have such a strong hold and I'm not putting a leave-in conditioner under it of any sort, your hair needs to be hydrated before you use these, so that means conditioning the hair. I would typically use something under something with this much hold, because it does have a lot. Anyone else find it's difficult to pump your mousse or foam once your hands are wet yeah. That'S me, after this I'm gon na start applying water, because I do feel that my hair here was wetter than this section yeah for sure and like if your hair starts to dry out it'll with my texture, it's harder to make sure that you're defining the correct Clumps because my hair clumps well with hydration, so I'm gon na do this side and then I'll come back and I'll show you styling the most deaf size. So you can kind of see the wet styling difference all right. So we've completed the first side that was Mish, pretty simple and easy right, and so let's do the second side and this side is going to be with the do moose Def, but same thing. On this side, three pumps - I will say this side - is smoother. There'S more slip with the Moose def, which is nice like more slip, less friction, especially when shingling, so I might end up with less frizz, which could be interesting. It reminds me of the slip on design, Essentials, almond and honey. I am going to wet this like as soon as I finish this side, I'll wet it as you can see getting good clumps. Oh look at that, so I'm gon na finish this up and go ahead and dry. My hair, if you missed my newest drying video, you could see how I dried my hair. The whole process, I'm going through it in detail, because people haven't asked me about updating my processes and I'll, see you once it's dry all right here. We are at day one. So, let's talk about the cast so on the Mish side, there's a definitive film. I'Ve talked about this before it's it's the film. This is the film that's gon na hold the hair, we'll link the video to where I showed drying. My hair at the end, in the description box below but yeah, so you could see like my curls. Are there they're very happy, there's not a lot of frizz. I mean this foam has a nice size cast and I feel it it's definitely definitely there. It doesn't. Leave my hair feeling dry, but it it it's there like it's. It'S there's a film there right. So then the most deaf side definitely more of a drying type cast. It'S not dry. Don'T get me wrong! It'S just more of that kind of cast than the filmy gunky cast. If that makes sense, you feel it the hold less the product, if, if that makes sense on the other side, so they both have some kind of hold action going on and the curl the coil is there on both sides. I do think and I'll get closer to show you I do think as far as like curl clumping. I do think that they're similar, but the Mish gets a leg up here. I think the Mish was better able to give my curls that help. It needs to be frizz free curls. If that makes sense. You know what I mean like. I have some that I could actually pull out here without getting other for the clumpy curls in the way right. Whereas here I can get some don't get me wrong. They'Re there but they're not as fit for as free as the other side. That'S really the only way. I can explain it. You could really feel it um and somewhat see it. In my opinion, hey y'all it's day, two and the thing about Foams. Is they typically don't have much stain powder Power, but in one of mono's very recent videos? She talked about doing a double cast, and so that's what I do now on the second day of a foam wash and go whether I'm using foam instead of gel right. This is the case um I go in and I put more foam on the set here and it makes the whole wash and go last longer. Don'T add more water, just more foam. So I did that already to this side and that's the Dew and now I'm gon na do that to the mesh side, see I'm about to hit these streets and go find some presents for my nieces and nephews and the people in life that I love and Adore, I'm not spending as much this year, but I am all the kids get all the things: the adults less with the kids. They get anything they want, because that's my job as an auntie to fulfill their Wildest Dreams once a year twice a year, really their birthdays too. This dries really fast by the way, because there's no water it dries like before. I even finish you see: this is already the white is going away all right. I'Ve been waiting for the cast to break so come back, so this is seven days later. It took a full six days for the cast to break on this side of my hair. We know what this side is. It took full seven days the hold is that serious? Do you see this girl? These girls, like the cast just broke, so today is the day that it will start to frizz out. This side is not doing as well uh. The cast broke a couple days ago, but it still looks really good right, like I feel like it still has a good amount of hole like my hair is still held in place regardless right. I did want that cast to break because of one of my major grads with this, and one of the reasons I don't like using foam alone, especially these types of phones, which I'll talk more about. Why that's the whole thing um is that it takes a long time for the cast to break when you don't put anything under the foam right. It'S just hope. That'S all this. There she's a bunch of old a little bit of moisture, but these are ones that don't really emphasize humectants right, they've emphasize the whole The Styling, and so they had such a grip on my hair, I did not like the feel of my hair any of these Days the first couple days, it just was a film that I didn't and then it was like stiff and it wasn't moving. I did not enjoy that, and so I've been waiting for the cast to break to really like my hair. I'Ve actually been wearing it more. Like but the problem here is for me at least this is a problem it may not be for you. It depends on your texture, my texture, my curl type right, has to have a really strong hold to get multiple days right to keep the curls elongated. I need weight as well, which these Foams along do not provide. Mooses, don't do that alone, which is why I prefer gel for my wash and goes under these mousses, which have a foam texture. That'S why I keep calling them Foams. I really prefer something under them to add the hydration right for the humectants. That'S why I like using them. I would rather sacrifice some hold to keep my hair hydrated for a day. I have long hair because I always prioritize the health and hydration in my strands. Over the hold right, so, although my hair looks good, this is not something I'm going to do on a regular basis, and I because I just know over time it wouldn't be the best thing for my hair. If I was using one of the mousses that was more hydrating, I would be fine with doing this regularly, but I'm not going to redo my hair every two to three days. All the other mousses do not have enough holes. Speaking of all the other mousses. Let me do the breakdown that you guys asked me for. Multiple people have asked me to compare them all all the ones I've used this year. So let's do it all right. We have eight. Oh, my battery's gon na die so we'll see all right so I'll list them all below, but I tried eight mooses this year. All of them have a foam. Texture. Mooses can have other textures right. So that's why I call them foam these all turn into foam. So, let's go with the one with the most hold for me, that is most definitely hands down Niche curl, defining mousse, and that makes sense it has a stronghold ingredient in the ingredients list. So that makes the most sense next up would be moose stuff. These two have the strongest hold of all of them, most hydrating. That would be between uh the do crazy, sexy, curl and Camille Rose by tiny mousse. These two are the most hydrating design. Essentials is next up, but these two are the most hydrating also means that these three give you the most shrinkage as well design Essentials. The do uh spike a crazy sexy girl and Camille Rose spiked in the summer. This is really going to shrink up your hair, but for me y'all know I apply I prioritize hydration, so right now that it's cooler, I would actually turn to these for my twist outs um for a wash and go I'll put something else withhold under it right, Like my leave-ins withhold, this is where I would turn to those of the two ogs which one do I prefer. The ogs are a lot of body or Nairobi. I actually like Nairobi better. Obviously, I'm gon na use this so much, but a lot of body is a good Contender. I will not say it's not, and I hope we just has a bit more hold a lot of body is more hydrating. So take your pick, they're, both good one. That'S special in this lineup is this because it has hold, but it doesn't have a crap ton of humectants, so it sits in the middle of all of these, which is really interesting. This is really good to me for Twist outs, but it doesn't have as much hold as all the others, but I do like that. It isn't so humectant heavy if it had a bit more hold like Nairobi. I would like this would be my go-to for Twist house, but it just doesn't have that amount of hold, which is unfortunate, because that would just it would take it over the top. I actually do not love either one of these for twists, because it's too much hold, I like my twist to have movement to be bouncy. For me, these have too much hole for that. I like these for wash and goes. This is the Mish and the do uh mousse staff. I like these for wash and goes um. As far as twisting goes really any of the other ones will work. I really enjoy the design Essentials and the spiked honey mousse. I really really enjoy these for the hold and the hydration you're going to get shrinkers with these, so take that into consideration - probably really good for these cool months uh, but in the summer I still like them. Y'All saw my hair here. I really do enjoy these a lot with the crazy sexy girl coming in. Third. It just has a little too much slip for me so, like I was having a hard time gripping, so my hands started to cramp towards the end, because I have a lot of hair. So that's why it isn't in the same category as these. These also have a lot of slip, but not so much that I can't twist my hair right so there's that I wouldn't choose this one over moose stuff. For that reason, and this one, I really want to try again um in the summer just see if I can find like I'll leave them with more hold under it. I think would make this a really good Contender for humid months. So that's all my thoughts. Those were a lot of thoughts right. I don't have one that I'm like pinpoint this and I have another one coming um, so I'll be trying that in the new year, and so that's it. That'S like my full rundown. In the comments tell me your favorite foam. Tell me your thoughts on all of these eight Foams, and if you haven't seen my twist out battles, then check out this playlist here sure. Otherwise, if you like this video make sure you like it subscribe before you go, so we can see each other in the next one.

ALove4Me: I forgot to mention the Pattern Beauty Mousse in this video. I'd rank it in the same category as Nairobi and you can see that comparison here https://youtu.be/q5aIAAZFNDI

Joy Banks: The combination of the Doux's Crazy Sexy Curl foam and Bee Girl custard on top gives longevity and hydration. I put it on wet hair, the water gives my hair added weight.

thingsilove18: Although I have graduated to just using the Doux Mousse Def as my only styler (for everything lol), fav combo is Camille Rose Curl Maker under the Doux Mousse Def. And you can more a less hold/softness based on how much gel you use. Apply to soaking wet hair in the shower.

Dimensions by Gina: My favorite mouse right now is Evolvh InstaVolume Volumizing Mousse. I typically pair it with UFD. I can get about 3 to 4 days with that combo. If I apply Jello shot on top of that combo I can get 7 to 10 days. I really did like Giovanni mousse and Be Kekoa Be Free Rose Water Mousse. While I do love these as well but unfortunately they contain a few ingredients that irritate my scalp which are PVP and decyl glucoside. With that being said I haven't tried any of those other Mousse since I believe they contain the above ingredients I mentioned.

Michaela: Thank you for comparing the mousses!!!! Love the details you gave about when to use which mousse, time of year, shrinkage, etc.

Sonya Palmer: I love the Doux and Miche for my blown out flat twistouts.

Belinda Sanders: My favorite for wash and gos is still mousse def. Miche is okay, but I end up having to do a refresh around day 3. I like the CR spiked honey mousse for twists. I recently tried the Treluxe mousse for a wash and go. I used untie the knot under it. It was too soft. I'm going to try it alone the next time. I also get get good results with UFD under mousse def or the spiked honey mousse.

Karen Reeves: Since I predominantly do wash and go’s I do not find that foam/mousse is good for that because I get no longevity out of my wash and go. What I do like about a Mousse especially Miche is it’s great for refreshing. I do like Camille Rose mousse and Pattern as well.

shondra ray: I have used mielle organics pomegranate mousse for wash n go. I loved the results. I didn't particularly care for the mousse by pattern

Chromagens: Ooo I gotta try the double cast thing Thanks for the breakdown, the only mousse here that I've tried is design essentials but I've been curious about mousse def

Just K: This was great!!! I just discovered the texture id foam...where would you place that in your lineup? I got it on your recommendation from a fee yrs ago, I think...been watching you a long time I really like it so far!

Kearsten W: Love love this series! Thanks for the review and I must say I MISS the holiday music that you always open up with

1GoldenBreeze: The only mousse I've used is Mousse Def. I've only used it for a WnG either alone or on top of UFD Curly Magic.

Leticia Johnson: Thank you for doing this video. I’m going to try the Miche . I live in a really humid climate so I need the hold.

Felicia W: I prefer mousse def for twist outs and crazy sexy curl and Miche for wash n gos. I'll have to try the double casting. What a great idea!

Jessica Sopolis: Yissss..I needed this! Thank you for sharing this video, darlin! Xoxo

Felicia W: Does the new trelux mousse interest you at all? People are raving about it! Patterns mousse is getting good reviews too.

Kae: I love lotta body and design I get so many compliments I love your content and your realness thank you

DatCrazyBishAries: I know this is off topic but what do you pair the uncle funky's daughter gel with for no white product residue?

Sabine Marie: Do you have examples of leave ins with hold?

Faithfully_Melanie: Have you tried Verb Curl Forming Gel?

KT: Treluxe dropped a new hair mousse please post your feelings if you are planning to try it

friedchicken892: Yay I think I requested thus❤️❤️

Shante Hale: Happy holidays

Desaun France: Tkanx and what about mielle mousse curly?
