short story time about the time that I got a backhanded compliment from this lady wearing my hair natural. I am used to a lot of weird comments about my hair and it’s always kind of built this internalized insecurity about wearing my hair natural
Oh my gosh, so I was out in public and this lady. I don't think she was trying to insult me, but she goes wow, you're, really brave for wearing your hair, like that, I'm like! Oh, this is my natural hair and she goes yeah. That'S what my hair looks like when I don't brush it like girly. I don't even know what to say when I get these type of comments like uh. Thank you. I guess
