New Look! Blonde French Curl Braids On My Short 4C Hair | How To/Maintenance. #Braidson4Chair

Hey guys, mary collette, here back with another video, and today i am braiding my hair for the first time in two years. Yeah i know. Thank you. Thank you. I have waited for this day for so long i've missed doing braids so so much as soon as my project was over, i contacted the hair braids and i was like yup. Let'S do this so first things. First, they have to blow dry my hair, because obviously my hair is 100 natural and very curly, especially because i had washed and conditioned the hair that morning. It'S also a way to make sure that my braids last as long as possible. That'S me asking my hair braider. If you know the heat is too much because i don't want heat damage, i don't want that to be me. You know very careful about my natural hair and stuff. She obviously assured me that the heat wasn't too much, and i should put my mind at rest. The lady behind us is separating the hair extension we are going to be using today. I have gone for a blondish, slash, orangish, slash, brownish color, we're not keeping it safe anymore. It'S been boring for way too long around here. The hair extension i'll be using today is actually really fine and silky. The hairstyle can also be achieved with regular hair extension. Like darling expression and so on, but i prefer the fine and silky one yo look at my fro. We'Ve definitely come very far from where we were two years ago and i am so proud i set out on this natural hair journey and even though i had hiccups here and there, i'm very, very proud of how far i have come. I mean look at my fro. It'S giving it's a day, hey look at the smile on my face. You can tell i'm happy it's finally time to start our braids. Let me tell you guys how i decided what kind of braids i wanted so the other day i was going through instagram and i stumbled on a video from the real qi. I really loved the video, but one thing that stood out for me in particular where her braids, i really loved her braids. I feel like i had seen those braids on like almost every time they can hurry, but her braids in particular, were just stunning to me and just unique, so i did a few one-two stalking. Well, it's not stalking, maybe a little lurking, please! I, like it, just checked her profile and i figured out where she had her braids done and the rest is history. I contacted the guys and told them. I would also like to get the exact same braids done, and here we are so so this is hair. Braiding, the hair, all the way down to the curly ends she's going to tie it up, so it doesn't lose in in the future and that's how the hairstyle i've chosen is done. I recently watched top voices in one and two, and i have been so obsessed with watching interviews from all the characters, especially with the way season 2 ended. I was in total shock. I was numb for 30 minutes. Don'T worry, there are no spoilers here. I personally hate spoilers, so you're not going to hear any spoiler from me, but go watch top boy. 100 recommended yeah. I'M tongue tied twisted around your finger like a piece of string. I'M winded chasing after your ghost is really exhausting having two people braid the hair. Definitely made the job a lot faster. I had been told at the beginning that it was going to take three to four hours for me to get this done, and i can only imagine how much longer it would have taken if it was just one person. One thing i do not miss about braids is how long it takes at this point. We were almost an hour in and we didn't look like we had achieved much. Thankfully, i had something to distract me on my phone. I just wish we could skip all these parts and just get to the point where my braid is all done and i look cute, but i would rather sit through 10 hours of this than wear braided, wigs yup. I said it: well, i don't usually good i'm getting it done. I'M vlogging say hi anyways, yeah, so blondish type thing you know ilo got me a jumbo sized satin bonnet at abandoned supermarket to pack my braids. When i'm done. When i'm about to sleep, i don't want braids all over the place. Satin bonnet also ensure that your hairstyle lasts as long as possible. It also helps reduce friction between your hair and your bed sheets and your pillowcases, because that can cause breakouts and we don't want that. One thing i like about the hair extensions we're using today is the fact that it came already curled. However, with other kind of extensions you have to manually achieve the curls, you have to add: rollers put it in hot water to achieve the curly ends and with that the curls. Only last about you know a month or even less before they start dropping. But not these curls when i checked the real cheese profile she had had her hair done for over two months and the curls looked as fresh as if she had had them done yesterday. This, like this, take a drink of my cigarette, breathe, hey guys, so i real quick decided to come, show you guys my hair and what it looks like after a few days, because personally, i feel like braids, look a lot better after they've settled in and they Don'T hurt you as much and it's not as tight anymore. So, yes, it's been a little painful, but um a friend of mine, recommended this mist called kui. I basically just sprinkle it all over my scalp to reduce the pain and it also helps condition my scalp. I'M just generally so excited to be back to doing braids. If you guessed braids in my last vlog, then you are absolutely correct. I did get braids done as far as maintenance go aside, the mist that i spray on my hair. I also use leave-in conditioner. I usually even conditioner for the curls. I don't use a container every day. However, the hairstyle is recommended that i use it once in three days or once and even a week. I also use hair mousse on my hair. I usually lose just put it on my hair and rub it in.
