That'S a little girl, hello and welcome back to my channel if you're new here my name is katrina and i make motherhood organization and hair videos. Today we are doing something a little different. We are doing a hair video and we are doing it with wedding styles. It is summer things are picking up with wedding season, so i thought i would give you guys a few different hairstyles that i'm going to try out myself for the first time and rate them. I'Ve picked out a few hairstyles, some simpler, some a little more complicated, but they should be pretty easy for anyone to do. You might just need a mirror or two mirrors anyways. Let'S get started with the first one that we're going to try out today. So this first one is a little bit more on the harder side i would say, but this gives a lot of opportunity for different, looks yeah. It is a lot longer hair than i currently have we'll see where we go with this one we'll try this one. So the first step is to do a little ponytail. If you have ones that are like a matte ponytail, this is the kind of ones that i use. They are great to actually like hide in the hair. Next, we bring the two sides over together. Take this section here twist it and then you can just pull so with this one. I'M going to take my a bobby, pin, i'm going to put it in like that and slide it under. I have no idea what that looks like now. We'Re going to take this other side twist it put the bobby, pin in and slide it underneath. You can either leave it like that, or you can go to that next level, where they take this little bit here. Put it in the ponytail loosen it up a bit and tuck it through, and then you can pull it out a little bit. Next, one is another ponytail twist it under pull these guys out a little bit. My arms are already hurting and i'm sweating a lot of these types of hairstyles are just like you kind of have to play around with it. I'M actually gon na go really quickly. Look in my bathroom. This is kind of where you would want to just use. Some bobby pins to see this one's like a little lower. You can just put it directly in up i've, got it right against my scalp now twist and kind of push it down, and it hides pretty well, and it just gives you that extra. Like a little bit of something honestly for me and my amount of hair, i would probably stop here, but what you could do is you could make it into a bun. I mean we can give it a go. Let'S give it a go. I'M just gon na put another ponytail and then kind of like they were doing with the braid i'm gon na twist it under give it up a little bit yeah. You could leave it like that. I'M thinking i might tuck it up under one of these guys. Shove, the hair in grab a couple bobby pins pop it in and down one more pop it in. Then, if you can criss-cross the two and if you get them crisscrossed, you shouldn't have to put too many more bobby pins in there, because those crisscrossed bobby pins are gon na hold things pretty well there you go a lot of it again. This hairstyle, like kind of messy kind of undone you know, see. I left a few of these pieces out this side here. I will put a bobby pin this right here, so that it's not as loose on this side and tighter on this side. So it's kind of a little more. Even i actually quite like this hairstyle, it is harder. I'M gon na give it i'm gon na, give it a six and a half, because i'm a hairstylist i do know roughly how to make things look symmetrical and to make it look messy but still put together, but for like just a normal person doing this, i Would say that this one would take them a little longer. One thing that i will say is to use a dry, texturizing spray or some sort of texture powder, and that will help you get. This look you'll probably want to give yourself some time. If you are not experienced in hair to do this style, all that being said, six and a half out of ten, what's the next one, let's do a super simple one. For you guys, this one looks really cute. It'S half up half down really simple and it makes it look complicated, you'll understand when you see so literally half up half down again, i don't have as much hair as her, but this idea will still work with the amount of hair that i do have just That simple, look at that, like definition in there, i really love the definition. I really love how simple it looks, but it looks like you actually like put effort into it. Okay, i got that one all out now we're going to do this little style. So it's basically three little ponytails in a half up area, so kind of this area here then you twist them. That'S it. It'S actually really really simple and it looks really cool. I will probably say that, like a million more times, because i really love this right in the middle here, just this little guy and then you're going to want to split in the middle twist through and then kind of just pull a little bit. This one doesn't have like a lot of extra volume or anything, so you don't want to pull too too much we're going to take this little bit here. You don't have to do the ponytails, like super tight, split twist through kind of pull a little bit out. Just to get a little bit extra volume and then pull up a little bit, you need to give your arms a break. Just keep your arms a break, so i'm kind of feeling where this other one is at the back of my head, because i can't actually see, but then i can kind of gauge where to put the ponytail. So now you should have the ponytails fairly fairly close to each other right here and then you can take like a favorite clip or anything like that and just kind of there you go. You know i'm going to rate this a hairstyle, probably a 10 out of 10 because of the simplicity of it. How easy it is to do it and there's still quite a bit of texture in and movement to the hair, so that you can see that something's going on? What'S the next one okay, so this is just a simple bun! I'M really interested to see how it works, because i do have thicker hair. I am going to use a bigger hair tie for this one because it has to hold all of my hair, so this one is quite a smooth style. What i am going to change about how they did it is, i want to do the ponytail up higher so that it's not so low, because i personally don't like to have buns that are like sitting way down on my neck. I am going to do this three times and then i'm going to pull it out and i'm gon na pull up a little bit so that i have a little bit more room down here to play with what i'm actually going to do with this one. Is i'm going to split it in half? I have this fancy tool that i'm going to use to pull it through, just because it is bigger. So i just put the stick part of it down loop it through that hoop and then i can pull it down through next. What i'm going to do is they pulled it with their fingers? I'M going to pull it with the comb just to give that extra volume in the crown area. Next they backcombed the ponytail. So i have my boar bristle comb here. I use one of these for elise as well just going to give this. Actually. This is where i'm going to use a little bit of texture spray, just because i have more texture up at the root right now, but not a whole lot here and the dried texturizing spray that i use is monet's buckle. A little trick is to put it in and twist up now these are my favorite things to use, they are called frenchies. This is my little trick for most of these hairstyles, but i haven't showed you until now. They are fuzzy hair pins and they hold so well. I'M just gon na pull out a few a few of these guys now, i'm gon na twist up, though, instead of going above this i'm going to go below so that you still get that definition in there. Similarly, with the bobby pins, i'm just going to put it in straight there and then down. If you have a few straightaways kind of like these guys, i would take a bobby pin, grab these guys and just plop them in also, if you haven't clicked the light button, yet it's right down there. I would rate this hairstyle as probably a five honestly. It'S fairly simple idea, but executing it depending on your hair length could be difficult. It would be easier to do on somebody else, but doing it on yourself. I think that it would be a little bit on the difficult side. So definitely my favorite one was the half up half down one. It was really simple. Looked really great. The next one in line would be the volumist messy braid type hairstyle. I really did like that. One. It just can be a little difficult for some people. I think to do on themselves and then this one, let me know down in the comments, if you do one of these hairstyles and tell me how it went, was it easy for you was it hard for you? What was the difficulties that you found? I would love to know that is it for today's video. Thank you so much for watching please like and subscribe. It really helps me out and i will see you in next week's video bye. Oh, i have to clean all this up now.

Victoria Hunter: Excuse me, I’m in love with all of these Soooooo cute!!

Ann Baird: I tried the first one…turned out pretty good but I need to get the small elastics rather than big scrunchies. Thanks for the ideas!
