Hey guys for today's video we are going to do a beautiful casual updo which will be perfect for the holidays. So let's go ahead and get started, so I'm first just going to take some hair out from the front so about like this on both sides. So what you want to do is divide your hair into two sections and you just want to clip off the bottom section you're going to take the top section and just pull your hair through, like you were doing a regular ponytail. This hair tie is really stretchy. So I can go around a couple times on the last time: you're just going to pull your hair tight over just a couple inches to form a little bun like this, so you can just stretch it out a little bit. You don't want it too floppy, then you're just going to twist the ends that are hanging out. You'Re, going to open up your hair tie and you're just going to tuck those ends into them. So make sure there's no ends hanging out, make sure everything is nice and tucked and your bun should feel pretty secure. So then, I'm just going to pull my bun and make it a little bit bigger. Now I'm going to press my bun flat against my head and I'm going to insert bobby pins into the top and then I don't want any gaps on the side. So I'm just going to pinch those together and then insert a bobby pin into each side and if you need more bobby pins, feel free to add more. But that's all I needed, and I'm just going to do the exact same thing that I did with the first bun with the second section, so just create a little bun twist. Your ends, tuck them up into the hair tie so again, just make sure none of your ends are hanging out. You want everything tucked in my ends, kind of kept falling out. I don't think I made my hair tie tight enough um, but yeah just keep tucking them in and then you're just going to push that bun up against your head insert bobby pins. I had to insert a couple more bobby pins with this one than I did with the top one just because it was a little bit more floppy than the first bun, but just do, however, many you need to and remember. This is just a casual hairstyle. It'S not super formal or anything, so messy is okay. So now you can just kind of pinch and pull a little bit more on the top and bottom buns. If you feel like you need to now with the hair up front, I'm just going to give it a little twist and then pinch and pull it and then just bobby pin it right next to the bun honestly. Looking back at this, I probably would have just skipped this step, but feel free to do this step, if you want to, if you want to like Hide Your Part line or hide some bobby pins, I guess okay good enough. Now we are going to do some. Fine detailing so this part is very important anytime, I do a hairstyle whether it's an updo braid, I don't know any type of hairstyle. I always like to just pinch and pull at my crown so just taking the tips of my fingers and just pinching and pulling little by little, you don't want to pull too much. So I always start out with just little tiny pieces and just pinch a little bit so then I just go back one more time and I just make sure everything is nice and pinched and pulled and everything's Bobby, pinned and secured this updo. It'S not going anywhere. It'S going to hold all day so now, I'm just going to show you guys what it looks like from all angles, starting with the front and then the sides in the back. You can dress this hairstyle up. You can dress it down, make it casual! That'S what I love about it and it's super easy, so I hope you guys like it and I hope you'll try it. Let me know what you think in the comments below, so that is it. That'S the video so simple, literally just two buns pinned to your head um. Let me know what you think of this one in the comments below. Let me know what other kind of hairstyles you want to see, and I will see you guys in my next one. Bye

Charu Shekhar: Hey Lainey! I wanted to tell you that a few days ago, I did the rope braid hack on myself, inspired by the video you did a few months ago. I accessorized with a blue beret :)

Gabrielle Berrouard: Wow Lainey!!! You are a genius. I just tried it tonight to see if it could look good on my straight, fine but also thin long hair because I cannot rock any hairstyle and you know what ? This one looks amazing. I don't want to put it out now haha first try, it is easy and very pretty, makes me look like I have more hair than I do have, which makes it the perfect hairstyle. Plus I add some small shiny pins to make it more festive and I can assure you I will wear it on my holiday parties or any other occasion when I didn't have time for heatless curls and I want my hair to look special. From the bottom of my heart thank you for all you do. I love your work thank you for all you give to us !

E_: This is so pretty I think it’s one of the best hairstyles you’ve done wow I just can’t get over it!❤

Doctordcal: You are awesome as always. I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving. Thank you for inspiring those of us who perpetually do one bun. You rock!

Olive U: The only mistake you made is making this video three minutes long! I need more lol. Love you and your channel!

Kimberly Calhoun: I have a request. I'm going to have to chop my long hair off because of covid. I hate shorter hair on me but I'll be fine assuming I have enough hair to pull up. Can you somehow make video for people with "short" hair? I need some cute everyday updo ideas.

Jess L: This looks so cute. I’m going to try this hairstyle for work.

Liz: Hi! I've been inspired by your channel to try new hair styles with my super long hair . Just a thought but I would love to see a little video on how to properly use bobby pins (or some other hair styling tools for that matter). Personally, I think that would be really helpful!

Ceil Constante: Thank you for making a video of this cool updo for a chance of pace!
