Dyson Airwrap Dupe?! Revolution Hair Wrap Honest Review

I bought the brand new Revolution, Hair wrap, which is meant to be a duplicate Dyson air wrap, which is weirdly a very similar name. It comes like this and it has three different parts. It has. The hairdryer has a straightening brush, which it has little metal bits in which heat up, which straighten your hair. If you go like that, it has the curler. So this is meant to do the same thing as the Dyson does and like wrap your hair around. So that's what I'm going to be testing today, so the hairdryer itself has like the on and off switch and then it has three different settings: cool, medium and hot. I'M just going to be testing the curling bit today, because that's what we're all here for really isn't it! You just push it on like that, and then that is what it looks like I'm going to start by just brushing and sectioning my hair. But when you turn it on, I think it takes a few seconds to actually kick in. It starts on the cool setting and then you press this button to go to the medium and then you press again to go to the hot. So now I'm going to leave it a couple of seconds and I'm going to unravel it and just twist it I'm not going to take the whole curl down yet because I want to try and hold these curls because I am going out tonight. So hopefully it looks nice, but it's curled very well. This the barrel does get really really hot, which I think is such a. I think it's such a design fault, because you can't like pull it off without actually gripping the barrel. That'S not good, but it has cut my hair quite nicely. I have seen videos of people do this with longer hair and it kind of like flies off the top, which is not ideal, but for me it's working with my short hair. Another thing that I've noticed is that it only comes with one of these barrels, so that means it only goes one way. So you can wrap your hair like this way against your face, but then, if you're going this way your hair's going towards your face. So it's like a different shaped curl. Unless I go like upside down, which I really don't think would work but I'll, try it I'm holding it upside down, really isn't ideal. So what I'm going to do is actually I'm going to like once I take it out. I'M gon na Force the curl backwards in itself and hopefully that'll solve the issue. So it's looking a bit crazy right now, but I am gon na finish the top of my head and do all the rest of it and then I'll come back and brush it out and see how it looks. Fingers crossed because I am going out tonight. So it needs to look good, the finished curling, it is looking crazy and the barrel, like I said before, is so so hot, so I'm gon na have to put that to the side. Um, I'm really like worried to put it down on my bed, because it's that hot, but I'm gon na, do it anyways now that these are all kind of cooling down a little bit. I'M gon na give them a couple of seconds and then I'm gon na brush them through, because that's what I usually do I mean I don't really want to go out with curls like this always comb when I'm combing My Curls out, I go like from front To back and then front to back because it gives them like more volume, if you go straight down, your curls will just be like foreign. It'S gon na need work. It'S gon na need work, but you know I, like I just stepped out of the 70s. So, apart from the fact that my hair won't cooperate with me today, um it has curled really nicely. You can't tell the difference between like the frontwards way and the other way. I was worried that like one way was gon na go away from my face and one way was going to go towards my face, but you can't really tell the difference at all, and I'm definitely gon na have to do something about this, because that's not that's Not good overall, it's good at curling, your hair um. I, like it 60 pounds I paid, I think they're, usually a hundred or eighty pounds. I got it in Debenhams which had a discount, so it was 60 pounds and compared to like a 500 pound Dyson. It'S done a similar job, really, I'm back, I'm just giving it a few minutes to settle, and you can tell that this one is flicking that way and that one is freaking this way. So if you want kills that are all going the same way like backwards. You'Re just gon na have to like turn it upside down or something because yeah you can definitely tell that all my colors are going the same direction, and I don't really like that. This side looks so much more flat than this side. Like this side looks so nice and um not sure about that bit, but then this side is just and that's because of the direction of the barrel.
