Foreign, hey guys welcome back to my channel. My name is Ali. If you have not been here before, and thanks so much for watching this video for today's video, I'm going to be testing out the all-new shark Flex, style, hair, styling and drying system. So if you've been living under a rock, maybe you don't know about the Dyson air app, but I swear it took the World by storm a few years ago when it came out - and I feel like the reaction is pretty much still the same. If you're not aware the Dyson airop costs 600. over 600 after tax and yeah, so it's not it's not exactly a cheap hot tool, but I will say it produces beautiful results. I tried it out for myself last year. To be perfectly honest, you guys will know about this from the videos that I did last year. I wasn't impressed enough to justify spending the amount of money that I did on it, so I did end up sending it back, but this shark guy came out just recently and it is probably like the closest, like nice brand, that I've seen that's come out with A dupe for the Dyson air wrap, so I wanted to give it a go. I'Ve seen a few different girls. Do the air wrap curls in a different way to give you more of that, like 90s blowout look, and I really want to try that out. So I decided to pick it up. This cost, I think it was 279.99, is what I paid for it. Obviously, that was before taxes, so that is significantly cheaper than the Dyson air app. It doesn't come come with as many attachments, but it has what I need in it granted. I like it, we're not sure yet, but I'm gon na be trying it out today. So if you guys are interested in picking this up or just curious to see how it turns out just keep on watching before we get started, please make sure you subscribe to my channel if you have not already hit that notification Bell, so you're notified every single Time I upload, if you guys, enjoyed this video, please go ahead and give it a thumbs up. I'D so appreciate that and leave a comment down below letting me know if you already own the Dyson air app what you think about it, if you're planning on picking this guy up instead or maybe in addition to let me know your thoughts as always, I will Do my best to link absolutely everything down in the description box that I'm using today in this video, as well as my social channels, my Instagram Tick, Tock, Poshmark, podcast, camera details, all the preset good stuff will also be down there and that's it. Let'S go ahead and get into the video okay. Before I do anything, I am going to put some product in my freshly washed hair. I used this last time. It is color Wild's Dream Coat if you struggle with very frizzy hair, or you just want more shine to your hair. 10 out of 10 recommend this product. It lasts three to four washes and I have seen significant difference in the way that my blowout looks after I started using that, so I'm just going to use a heat protectant as well. Also, I cut like an inch and a half off my hair. The other night and decided to cut curtain bangs so we'll see how that all turned out. I haven't seen my hair like dried and done since I did that so we'll see we'll see. I use this guy at the roots of my hair, just for a little lift and then the last product I'm using, is just this bombshell, voluminizer, okay. So in the package that I got, I have this guy here, which is like the main power source a blow dryer. What'S really cool about this, is you can actually twist it and bend it? So you have more of like your natural look when it comes to blow drying your hair blow drying it like just full on straight definitely feels kind of weird to me. So I like that you have that option in the kit that I got. I received the auto wrap curlers. You have one for the left, one for the right, just depending on which direction you want. The air blowing also came with a concentrator nozzle, if you're just planning on blow drying your hair with the styler, and then it also came with an oval brush for giving you more of like that bouncy blowout. And then you also have a paddle brush, which is nice for, like maybe straighter Styles or smoothing Styles, I will say Everything feels nice and like sturdy, it definitely doesn't feel too cheapy which I'm impressed with, and this isn't too crazy heavy. It'S like a little bit heavy, but my Dyson blow dry dryer is definitely heavier than this looks like there's three options for how hard you want the air to blow and then three heat options as well: a cool shot option which is great and that's pretty much. It so let's go ahead and blow dry the hair and see how this goes. Okay, my hair is almost all the way dry and that was pretty quick, so I will say I'm impressed with the airflow on that thing. It'S pretty good all right, let's get to styling, so the first thing that I do want to try is the smoothing brush, because the problem that I had with the Dyson air wrap in the past is my hair is just so frizzy, naturally that I just felt Like I was left with a ton of frizz, even after styling, like fully being done with styling, so I'm going to section off my hair and I actually am following somewhat kind of based on memory. This other girl's tutorial on how she curled her hair using the shark black style. Is that what we're calling it? Yes Flex style, I'm just going to take me a minute to figure out the name of this thing. So what she did was use the smoothing brush. First and then she went in with the air wrap curlers and she also used velcro rollers to kind of give her hair volume and kind of give more that more. Like blown out 90s look, I don't really want the like tight curl. Looking thing, I want more of that bouncy blow out, so I'm going to try these little guys that I just picked up from Walgreens. I don't know that they're going to be the best option, but we're gon na try it I'm like excited nervous. All all the things thank you that actually seemed like it worked out pretty well. Foreign looks pretty smooth, which is exciting. All right, I'm going to wrap my hair up and these little curlers. So what I did there is again. I was following the advice of that girl's, video that I watch. She kept the heat on for 10 seconds and then she used the cool shot. I think she said for like five seconds or as long as it feels like it cooled everything down. So I'm just gon na keep doing that. The only thing that I'm noticing that I'm struggling with again this is like literally my second curl that I've done, but I've noticed that it's kind of hard to shut it off when I'm holding the cool shot. So again I don't know if that's just like user error or user trying to figure it out um or if that is maybe not so great of it like a design there. So we'll see what happens just gon na keep doing the exact same thing. There'S nothing too crazy about it, but I will say so far: I'm pretty impressed foreign. I will say so far. I am really impressed with how fast this thing is drying my hair and, if you guys might have seen in the last pass through on this side. I actually decided to bend it, which made it so much easier to turn it off here. So 10 out of 10 recommend doing that um. Thank you. Foreign process was really fast. I definitely think this smoothed out my frizz. I could tell as I kept doing it. I could clearly see like oh wow. My hair does look a lot smoother when I use this first, the auto wrap curlers dried, my hair so fast. So, let's cross our fingers that I like how this looks when it's fully done and set and everything I'm gon na, do my makeup and then I will be back to take this all out and hopefully I'm obsessed we'll see, let's take out these rollers, I'm so Excited okay crossing my fingers, all right, you guys is this whole, like air, wrap Air Flex style thing? Is it just not for my hair type because, like what no this looks ridiculous? Was it just a bad idea to put the velcro rollers in like what is happening here? Let'S try to remedy this because my bangs, no absolutely not the problem with my hair, is it just holds on to volume like a little too much, I'm kind of wondering if it's like the velcro roller problem, not necessarily the hair tool problem s foreign brush for Sure saved this hairstyle because I really like it now now that things are kind of like settling and not looking so intense, so the velcro curlers might have been like just not the best idea for my hair type. My bangs are still doing kind of weird things, but this is my absolute first time using it and, like I mentioned, I haven't used anything like this, like the Dyson air wrap, I tried last year, so it's been a minute and I will say I'm impressed with The minimal frizz I have, I still have a tiny bit, but typically on like the first wash day, my hair is a bit frizzier and, as I sleep on it, usually by day two, it looks way better. So, as far as like ease of using it, I do think it's a pretty easy tool to get the hang of, especially if you're doing it like me and not worrying about like which direction you're curling your hair in my hair, dried really really fast. I do have thick hair, so my hair takes a bit of time to dry and I will say using the blow dryer tool, part of it, where it's just the blow dryer on its own um. That was really quick. I love that you're able to turn the tool like this. It definitely made using it a lot easier in certain circumstances. This smoothing brush is amazing, like I'm, really really impressed with the smoothing brush, I'm very excited to use the oval brush as well in the future, because I just really liked this one a lot, and I definitely wasn't expecting that for sure made my hair a lot. Smoother before I went in with the little curlers as far as the suction goes for grabbing your hair, I think it's really good um. I don't think that, there's anything that I necessarily would have changed about it. I will say I'm not ready to return it. I'M definitely excited to try this out again and just figure out exactly how my hair works best with it, but as far as like the first thing goes, that was like my major concern. I think my hair looks really good. Like it's bouncy, it's shiny, it's pretty! Frizz free, so I'm excited, I hope you guys enjoyed this video and found it helpful. Let me know if you guys are gon na pick up this tool too. Once I get the hang of this thing and I'm like obsessed with styling my hair with it, I will definitely do a tutorial for you guys, but thank you guys so much for watching this video. I hope you have an amazing rest. Your day and I'll see you on the next one bye. Oh thank you.

OK TERI: Just a suggestion. Purchase from Amazon or Best Buy and not the Shark website like I did. If you decide to return, it will cost you shipping and handling plus a service fee over $20.

Life with Cancer: The Velcro curlers definitely ruined it!

Marnie Griffith: Wait if this was a review on the shark dryer why would you use curlers?? Doesn’t really seem like a true review of the tool…

naturallyashaa: Turned out so cute!

Shannon: Ugh I wish you hadn’t used the curlers, I wanted to see what just the shark did…
