Celeb Hair Stylist Andrew Fitzsimons Does My Hair!

Hi everybody thank you for watching. Today i have the most special guest andrew fitzsimons, hi, hi everybody. I just did my hair. It'S it's just: it's a chloe inspired beautiful tousled sexy waved with some braids hairdo that really really suits you and we use some of your amazing new products that are available at ulta, i'm available at ulta stores. Congratulations! Thank you so exciting. Thank you! Yeah. We have full range for every hair type, so yeah, i know, used a lot of the products uh today. Okay, so we are going to start off um by waving your hair, the easiest way. So this is like it's like a u-shaped waiver. Some of them are triple barrel, yeah that to me sometimes can look a little artificial and then it gives it like that crease. Sometimes yes, and you get a crease. This is a little bit more natural. Looking okay take small sections, probably like two inches and around the sides in the back. I start maybe two or three inches down just so it doesn't get too much volume in the roots, because it's kind of cool when you have uh it's a little flatter now. I'M gon na coat the hair in prism. Shine, invisible, shine spray, i'm gon na go a little bit down and diagonally start wiping my hair. So basically, if you have it at an angle, a diagonal angle like this, it makes the wave look more natural, as opposed to a s-band wave. I can't wait to watch this back later and learn because i always look at your pictures and i'm like how does he do that wait so, every single time you do your hair, you're gon na watch this one over and over yeah you're gon na know all The words, then we can start dope, smashing it together, yeah. So basically, i'm gon na do the whole head, like that, go section by section all the way around um, also anytime, you're using heat. It'S a great idea to use heat protection. I have a leave-in conditioner called af1 from my virtual repair range. So that's something! That'S like the most universal of products for any hair type. It'S something that i recommend anybody use any wash day so when your hair is still wet spray, that in the hair uh you'll protect your hair from heat. When you, if you decide to heat style, it adds shine. Softness uh kills frizz. It'S just like everything that your hair needs as a basis, and it also structurally repairs your hair. So it's definitely something i recommend for every every time you wash your hair, a lot of leave-in conditioners can be used as styling products, especially if you've got curly hair um. I made mine to be invisible, so you spray it on the hair and then you go about your business and it's like it disappears into your hair. You don't have to worry about it anymore, so don't be afraid i'll. Just try now the shine spray gives it. This beautiful beautiful shine that you can see in the camera. I start maybe like two or three inches down uh with the waiver, usually at the root you want, or at the uh part. You basically want to start right at the root if you're using a triple barrel waiver. This is where you're going to be creasing your hair, just the fact that, like i know that you can do hair, though, because i saw your hair recreation of one of my clients. Yes, i did his megan fox. Look the wet look back in. I think it was september yeah for the vmas i put on my story, and i asked if i should do it, and i think i had like eight hundred thousand people like vote. Yes pubs. Oh it's like okay. I think i'm gon na do it no again. Yeah it even the makeup, the outfit like you really really regretted it. That'S crazy yeah! I love her. So what's actually funny is one of my first viral videos. I'Ve been on youtube 10 years, wow um and one of my first viral videos was recreating her look way back when she was like nine years ago. Um. It was like a red lip. I could show you it's so funny, like classic yeah yeah yeah like that was right when she like came out, and she was you know her kind of self. Everyone wanted to look like her, so that was one of my first videos that i got noticed from so that's wow, okay, big fan. We got good megan fox energy yeah over here. I have lots of clients who do lots of different things. Like actors, singers. Reality show people models like everyone has an opinion on everybody, not everybody likes everybody, everybody loves mega box. Really, everybody loves megan, fox yeah and everyone has a question fox. I mean come on, i'm into dudes and but yeah i mean of course, 100 yeah. I just like people who don't give a [ __ ] yeah. You know and that's like hard because like in this industry, you have so many people that are judging you like day in and day out. So it's really hard to find people that don't care about what other people think yeah. So i know what you mean, but it's so it's so healthy like yeah. We could all we could all learn from from her in that respect, to be just like. Okay. Well, everyone's gon na have their opinion doesn't really change anything. It definitely shouldn't change what you do or how you live your life. I know especially like i'm from i'm from ireland, i'm from a small island, it's kind of like being from a small town where everyone has an opinion on everything. At some point you just have to be like [ __ ] it i'll. Do. I don't care if they think this about me or whatever um, because when you look back you don't care, and most of those people in your life won't be there in 20 years time and they look back. Oh my god, i didn't do that. I wasn't my most myself yeah because of other people's opinions. That'S crazy, yeah! You just got to do it. I know that's like something i'm like working on with my therapist, i'm like i'm such a people pleaser and i've. Finally, like i'm self aware of it now, so i i'm putting myself and my needs first, instead of just trying to make everybody happy, oh yeah, you know the best advice i ever got was like it's just the simple concept of like your cup has to be Full, yes, before you can help other people 100 or like on the airplane. I know you put your. You can't save anybody else. If your mask is enough right, yeah, exactly people feel like i'm sure they feel like they know you and they feel like they have access to you and you have to figure out what works for you and what? What can be sustainable because giving your whole self to everybody and trying to please everyone all the time? That'S not sustainable. That makes you burn out and guess what, like the people that people respond to the most are the mega foxes or the rihannas or the people who don't give a [ __ ], that's right. This is my last section, so that was quick. I know you know people think that they're like how long does it take you to do your hair and i'm like to curl it really like 15 minutes, wow 15 minutes yeah yeah wow, i'm quick. So the next part of this look are our little braids. If you're going out, it's a really good transitional, look like you can wave your hair for during the day, then you can add some braids a little later on and it changes up the look um and also keeps the front of your hair out of your face. So it's really good for summer too yeah i was going to say with summer coming or if you have lip gloss on yeah, so it's not all up in your hair. No, i don't braid it very often. I feel like just little mini braids yeah because it like it would look weird if there was just like millions of really long braids. It'S just like literally face framing braids. So i'm just going to take the front section and i'm going to. I don't like to explain what a braid is. Yes, because the the um style is kind of mermaidy and it's a little messy the braid. You can basically create a braid. I would finish it around like jaw length and then you can kind of mess it up with your fingers. So it's more uh, so it's more seamless with the rest of the look. So tell me more about your line. You said four years in the making four years in the making um yeah we have. We have, i think, around 26 products that we're launching with so there's, definitely something for everybody. Every hair type, my largest collection in the brand, is for curly hair because it's the most diverse umbrella term, for so many different curl patterns and yeah. It'S like, after 21 years of doing hair um. This is like, basically, my everything like from the fragrances that i designed the packaging the advertising. The formulas are the thing that i was just like. Okay, i need time for this. I'M a working hair stylist. I want to be able to create products that i can use for the mac, gala or vogue covers that. Then people at home can can use too and be at a price that everybody can afford. Yeah. I saw that price point. I was very excited about it. Yeah well, that was the first thing i was like. I think it would be the easiest thing in the world to create really expensive products and have like you know, that's easy, but i i come from a single parent family me, my mom, my sister from like government housing, and i just wanted to be able to Create products that were really really luxury from 21 years experience all over the world that everyone can afford. So we are launching an ulta all ulta stores on ulta.com and every single product is dollars. Oh my gosh, so it's ultra affordable, wow, okay! So that's one of our braids: do you ever wear a wig? Have you ever been light, so i have, but it's so hard to fit my hair under yeah there's a lot of hair for underneath the wig. I went and i had it professionally put on and i felt like it was like a little like lumpy yeah yeah yeah, but i would love i've always said. No, i didn't well hair sprayed it until no end, it was and she did like a. I think she wrapped it around, so you basically had a giant head. Yes, i know, and then i've done it like by myself at home and what i would do is like a really low ponytail and then the bulge was at least in the back. So from the front i looked exactly normal yeah. I see you with like a leech blonde hair with like i could find a photo. Oh for real. I have well it's again a wig but yeah. I can just show mine yeah. I just want to add some more braids. I don't know what she found a picture. Oh my god, i'm used to it. It also did tonight i stopped oh, my that looks good. There might be a better one. You can't see me um, oh yeah here. Oh, you look completely different, so different, she blonde. Oh, oh, my gosh, that's i know i love it. Do you love it yeah? Thank you. I do it myself a lot, but then again it's like i can't go out with you. Does everyone know that this is all your hair because i'm sure the most people think i'm lying but okay? Well, i've done a full investigation and there's something you made by yourself: not one bond, not one extension at all. Yeah, i'm like wow, okay, usually half of the hairdo. Is me like sticking in hair yeah, so yeah? That'S why sometimes i'll throw them in for like the body but more hair yeah. Are you walking around like that yeah like that, and then i'm sweating, because it's like having a blanket on this? This already is so much i'm like yeah right now with this blazer i was like. Oh it's cute, i'm going to wear a blazer today, but i'm like wait so in the summer. Is it just like talking about city? You know what i do a lot. The wet look, that's like my new specialty, because then, when i'm sweating, it's just, you can't tell lots of uh restyling, my hair. Yes, so that's my favorite like to do in the summer you're, not a hair up kind of kind of girl. I go back in the morning 90 of the time, i'm in sweats, no makeup messy, half bun half whatever i look like so, but you know, but when you're trying to serve a look, it's okay. So what are you wearing if you were going to? I just invited you to the met gala. What'S your dream, what's your dream, hair for the macabre that gala i go every year, no um dream hair like that, the whole outfit everything is revolving around your hair dude. What'S that, what's a hair hair, you know what i really love that i've never done like that finger wave like i never have done that. I don't know how to do it, but i love when the front is like gelled and slicked like in that beautiful part. Like yes, oh, that would be beautiful, yeah. I'Ve never done that, and i would love that wait. When is your birthday october october, have like a 20s start like oh yeah party, because it's the twenties nights, it's literally a hundred years since that hairdo. So you could theme your party like a hundred years ago and you can have that hairdo, that's a great idea and if we can go to djs afterwards i'll do your hair. If you promise me that we can get a booth, oh yeah, i will get us bottle service yeah, we'll get a one of those bottles that like flashes and can we have people with sparklers, okay, cool, yeah, okay, great, okay! Well then, i'll do here done. He just wants to go to dj, so bad, not a huge new country, presidential old country. Right i mean who sings things before he cheats or whatever harry underwood, [ __ ] love that song yeah yeah. We got it hell yeah. Why don't we perform that at dj's? Oh, my god done perfect, perfect i'll bring my guitar. Oh my god. Okay i'll bring my banjo. I went once and my phone broke and i lost 20 thousand photos. So i didn't go back yeah. That was really complicated. I blame dj's, i do. Oh, the owners of tjs will not be held responsible for broken phones and broken hearts. Exactly okay. People are weird with those videos, i'm not scared about asmr yeah like the chewing and the oh, a mukbang. I know i film those and they're like my most viewed, videos and people are like want to hear you like the first one. I did it. I cut out, like all my like in between and they're. Like that's the point of it, you have to keep it in and i was like okay. So when i come to jersey, we're gon na go to dj's into a mukbang. So i'm thinking about this just the day schedule um. So we go to dj's. First, okay have the best night of our lives right. I'M gon na sing um, we'll we'll top up the meters for of all the girls. Yes, yes, um and then what we'll do well i'll? Take it to this little family run restaurant that i know called i'm going to give you the five cheese, cheese, yeah yeah yeah hold the wall. There you go yeah, okay, super fun, perfect, perfect, and then we film it and chew on camera and then perfect, perfect. We have our braids uh, we have our waves um. This could be the end of the look, and you know you do. These beautiful wet looks too, you could add some oil make this a wet look right um, but the vibe that i created with chloe was a very sexy texture, tousled kind of like so i'm going to use apres sex, texture spray um for my line and spray. The highlight i love texture spray me too it'll make it like more fluffy yeah, but the thing is the problem with a lot of texture. Sprays is that it makes the hair way too crunchy yeah, so it unless you have like like super thick straight hair. It'S it's not great! So if your hair is finer, if you have curly hair texture spray in the past was not the best product to use right um, but this is very layerable. So it's good for all hair types and it still keeps the shine. I see yeah exactly, which is one thing i don't like about most other ones, because they make your hair down yeah, so dull, yeah wow. So it's like a two on one yeah exactly well. All of my products are made to be used by me and i don't want to have to carry around 50 billion products, so i love multiple use products. This adds volume just trying to kill my guys, yeah just breathe it all in. I usually i use a lot of this yeah. I see you're like i noticed, because it's in my lungs okay, so we have all of our amazing texture, no teasing required just operating sex, texture, spray, okay and then i'm going to finish off with our hair spray. Just on the little baby hairs, i'm going to listen to carrie underwood. As soon as this video is done. Yeah we should put one right now. Yes, so you are ready to go to dj's um.
