Haircut Tutorial | At Home Layers For Long And Thick Hair | Easy + Fool-Proof

I thought I hated layers but turns out the salons. I was going to just weren't doing a great job for my long and thick hair. So here's how I cut them myself at home. It'S super easy. I start with oiling my hair. This is basically easier to cut, and then I use a sharp pair of hair cutting scissors and a rat tail comb start by parting, your hair in the middle and then take a triangular section from the crown of your head to the arch of your eyebrows. The larger your triangle, the more drastic the layers are going to be then from here you're going to want to cut straight across. I like this first layer to hit around my shoulder. So that's the length I go. Okay, I think the technical name for this is face framing pieces, but just trust me on this one. So after you've added the first layer, take a larger triangular section and use that first piece, you cut as a guide and then cut kind of at an angle to blend it with the rest of your hair and then you're going to want to repeat the process Of taking triangular sections and cutting them at an angle and using that first layer as a guide and obviously the more triangles you do, the more drastic the layers are going to be. This is my absolute favorite technique for long hair because you get to keep the thickness around the ends, but you still have the really pretty face framing layers around your face. I feel like when I've got them done at salons before it just made. My ends. Look super thin and I didn't even have layers near my face, so I feel like this is so much better if you've tried layers before and they haven't worked for you, you have to try this and to style. I did the T-shirt blowout. I hope this helps
