Foreign, so here are the products I'm going to use. Today I have the hydrating shampoo from caracare the restorative mask from character as well, which I'll be mixing with olive oil or rest, which is one of my favorites, then for moisturizing I'll use, the almond and avocado Hydrating Lotion from design Essentials and I'll deal with an Oil from caracare, so that's the process, you shampoo deep condition and then you moisturize. The first thing I normally do is I section my hair just to make it more manageable, and then I Spritz my hair with water to make it a bit malleable. It'S usually easier to comb through and it causes less breakage. You can always use coconut oil as well, which helps just give your hair slip, and the first thing is always always to detangle, with your fingers, make sure you take out all the knots and then go in with a comb, as you can see. I'M being very gentle with my hair, I'm not pulling it, I'm not tugging, so I start combing with the bottom of the hair working upwards and then I'm very careful not to pull on the hair just because if you pull you're gon na cause breakage and with Time your hair is going to thin because of all the tension you put on your hair, so just be very careful and be very gentle with this process. This is very important to do before you shampoo your hair, because shampooing does cause more Tangles, so you need to make sure your hair is very. Very detangled before you go into shampoo foreign here, you can see is how I removed the tangles just very carefully. The coconut oil helps a lot, and this step is just essentially pre-pooing, which I used to do when I was natural as well so once the section is done, I'm going to work with the other section, and it's literally the same thing. I just Spritz the hair with water foreign. Then I section it as you can see. I still have a lot of definition from the Twister that I had so now, I'm just like detangling, making sure I've unraveled all the twists making sure everything is okay and then I go through with the comb foreign put your hair in a cup and sit under A steamer: this is my portable hot cup, which helps the oils to penetrate the hair, so that you can see that it's feeling a lot better, it's less dry and once you shampoo, then it doesn't strip your hair completely foreign. Before I start my shampoo I'm going to rinse off the excess coconut oil - that's in my hair, but my hair feels so good. Already, honestly, if I was lazy, I would do this step and just like rinse it out and then just get out of the shower. But, of course, because of going to the gym and working out every week, you just have to wash your hair because yeah your scalp is kinda gon na get very itchy. If you don't so here, we're going with the shampoo always Focus the shampoo on your scalp. This is something that I learned quite a while back is your scalp is what needs cleansing, not the hair. I only do one wash. I make sure my scalp is quite clean. Before I move on to the next step, then you can always run the shampoo through the rest of your hair, to make sure it's cleansed and then just rinse, because I do this every week. I only do one wash and I do it in sections. So I'll do one side at a time so that I can minimize tangles foreign or maybe the pajamas I was wearing the previous night, is what I used to dry, my hair, so yeah. I find it easier than towels because I feel like towels pull on my hair, so this is what I use and it works perfectly. I let my hair dry for about five minutes and then I can go in to apply the deep conditioner. So, as I mentioned, I'm going to be mixing the caracare restorative mask just because it's finished. It'S lasted me since when I just relaxed my hair, so it's lasted me quite a while and that's why I like buying things in bulk because it's a lot cheaper. So I'm gon na mix those two and I'm gon na apply that in on my hair, if you're on a budget or you're looking for an affordable, good, deep conditioner, I would definitely recommend the ORS product. It'S really good. It works so well with my hair. Even when I was natural, it was amazing and it's you can use it weekly. So how do you know a good deep conditioner for me personally is when I see the products has penetrated my hair to the point that you can't even see it on top of the hair actually goes in and penetrates the hair. That'S how I know it's good. So then I go under my heat cap for 30 minutes. Usually I'm just working and 30 minutes later, I'm out and back in the shower so rinse that off and at this point my hair is feeling really really good before that it was quite dry and I hadn't washed it for about two weeks. So this is just such an amazing feeling, reitering strings, it's sometimes hard to tell if all the conditioner is rinsed off, because your hair feels so soft you're done just wring your hair and, of course, towel dry. It again - and here my hair is about 30 percent dry, it's still quite wet on the inside, and I just want to show you the volume, the texture, it's still still very, very natural. If you look at it, it still looks like natural hair. I don't know if you can tell but the front of my hair where I dyed it blonde really broke and I had to cut a fringe. So the front of my hair is quite short, so next step is moisturizing and usually for me. I just use a daily moisturizing lotion and then I use the oil. Sometimes I use a butter, but I find that my hair becomes it becomes too greasy. So I just stick to the moisturizing lotion and then an oil foreign, my hair, I just put it. I comb it backwards and I use a hair brush to brush the front of the hair so that it's smooth and everything is laid down flat. It'S such a nice feeling to have like freshly washed hair feeling smooth and my cuticles are like down. So everything is good, no frizziness, so then I'll use a silk scrunchie to like tie it back. I don't do this tightly at all just twice and leave it, as is so. I don't want to put too much pressure on my hair. I just tied twice and good to go so, if usually, if I leave my ponytail out, it's gon na get very frizzy, so I twist it up like this just to make sure it doesn't get frizzy and I use a safety pin, not a safety pin. I use a PIN to just like pin the ends and yeah put a headscarf on top of that until the hair dries and if I'm going out or I'm just chilling around the house, I'm going to use a scarf I'll push it back a little bit. Maybe do my edges and that's that so this is how much hair I lost throughout the whole process. This is a weekly thing. So during the week I don't comb my hair at all, and this is just shed hair throughout the week and throughout the wash day. So yeah guys that's the final look. I usually do these two braids at the front, just because I'm trying to protect my front hair which got really damaged. I like this hairstyle because I think it's cute, it's very easy to do and it looks nice yeah. So I hope you enjoyed that video, if you did please subscribe to my channel of course, leave a thumbs up and share with me any tips that you may have, if you're a naturalista or a relaxed hair Queen in the comment section below bye.
