Hey guys welcome back or welcome to my channel if you're new, today's video is kind of simple, but I really wanted to do an affordable, easy wash day routine in case you're a beginner and you don't want to go searching for a ton of product reviews and Compare - and you just want some simple recommendations that are easy to get your hands on these are all under 15. I believe I will double check, but they'll all be linked down below and I'm going to show you guys all the products and how I use them in this video. So I hope that you will enjoy it and subscribe down below if you haven't already and let's get into the wash day alright, so the mask I chose is the shea moisture, strengthen and restore treatment mask. This is really great for an affordable option. Shea moisture also has their yogurt and Manuka protein treatment, which is also really good. This one I feel like isn't as protein focused, so you get a lot of moisture in there as well. I really squished this into my hair and then I go through with my brush to really nicely just distribute everything I use my wet brush and then I go back in and do more of that squish chicken dish, because I really want to get that mask to Do its job, if that makes sense, and then I actually tied up my hair and left it sit for a bit, but I don't always do that. If I don't have time, I just had some time and kind of figured. I needed the extra moisture and protein since that mask does also have some protein in it. I then came back and tried to really rinse that mask out as best I could. I know you can see some color in the tub here, but that is just from the semi-permanent dye that is in my hair. I'M then going in with the Umberto giannini curl jelly wash and conditioner set. This is a really great option for something affordable. As you can see here, I have the water running a little bit because I keep dipping back under something about this. Shampoo really really needs to be like lathered up, and I can't think of the word, I'm looking for, but basically mixed with water, to sort of like dilute it a little bit and really be able to evenly distribute it over your scalp. And then I'm also using my scalp brush, this is from Amazon super affordable. I recommend it to everyone. It really is a game changer. Something about this shampoo and conditioner set is so amazing. It always makes a difference in the end results of my hair, which I feel like is very rare for just a shampoo and conditioner, but this set really does and, like I said, it's affordable, you can find it online. I think for like twenty dollars for the set, which is great, it is a little bit harder to find in store. So I will share an option with you, then that is a little bit easier to get your hands on, but I definitely recommend these. The conditioner is a lot more of a light weight, almost balmy texture than a lot of my conditioners, but I feel like it moisturizes really well somehow, even though it doesn't feel super thick and intense and of course it doesn't weigh down my hair at all, which Is really nice you guys might be able to see I'm kind of shaking my hair off my scalp a little bit to keep it from sticking so that when I style my hair upright, I won't have any like weird pieces sticking out. I go in and rinse that out really well squeeze out my hair and again shake the roots off a little bit, and then I did grab my t-shirt just to squeeze out all of that extra moisture so that I'm not dripping all over my bathroom floor. But I just wanted to show you guys the specifica pineapple Coral shampoo. I went through the conditioner already, so I don't have it, but this set is a really great option. If you want something that you can just easily find at Target, I say I forgot to cut out this clip of me seeing my heart out, but that's okay, anyways. I chose the Kristen s leave-in conditioner, for my leave-in, because I think a leave-in is a really great part of a routine and this one is very lightweight. So I feel like it's going to work for pretty much all hair types out there. You can just spray it onto your hair, scrunch it in a little bit and you're done very easy to use and it is Affordable for my curl cream. I chose the Heritage curl cream because this one has some nice hold to it, but it still has moisture and I feel, like a lot of curl creams, sometimes tend to not have very good hold. If you have very fine hair, I would say you could just even skip the curl cream, at least to start and just grab the leave-in and then the last Styler. That I'll show you, because it might be a lot of moisture and it might just be too much product product for your hair. If you have fine hair the lighter the product that you have in it, the better, at least just in the experience that I've heard from people so then I chose the not your mother's curl talk sculpting gel. They also have a hard hold version of this. If this one is not strong enough hold for you, as you guys, can see, I'm using the praying hands method for this. If you don't know what that is, it's basically, where you just smooth the product over your hair with flat hands, and then you go in and scrunch it in to distribute and promote curl definition and all of that. But I think this is a really great, affordable. Gel that is very easy to get your hands on. I'Ve talked about the curl talk line so many times, so I won't bore you with it in this video, but I think it's a great option and then I went in with my t-shirt just to squeeze out any last bit of that moisture and promote even more Curl definition - and this is what I ended up with while my hair is still wet. I generally air dry, my hair. So that's what I did here. You don't have to buy a diffuser if you're just starting out - and I always like to finish off my routine by fluffing my hair. I chose the pineapple smoothie oil from Pacifica. It is also from that pineapple curls line that I showed you guys and this one is really lightweight. So it's going to be great for all hair types as well super affordable and you get a lot of product in this. So I just scrunch this into my hair to break off some of that product cast smooth my hands over my hair, just to kind of get everything looking more natural and fluffy, not anything too crazy, we're not being rough, but I just want to get all of That product texture kind of out and add some shine to my hair. So at the end, once I've scrunched that and smoothed that over my hair, I like to shake out the roots a little bit to make sure there's no hair sticking. Oddly, especially if you wash or style upside down that can happen, sometimes I just find it really easy to film washing my hair in the tub. So I do that a lot, but these are my results and I think it turned out really nice. I didn't feel like my hair was: is overly producty or anything. I just feel like it's nice natural, pretty waves that still have some hold to them, but the products aren't anything really hard to work with. That is it. I really hope that you guys enjoyed this video or found it helpful subscribe down below. If you did - and I will see you next time - bye

Lori Barbadora: I love when “the beginners” are focused on. I am about 1 yr into my journey but still consider myself a beginner!

Barbara Decre: Thanks for this video! Question for you: have your curls changed since you grew your hair out? I'm thinking about growing mine out but I'm worried I'll lose my curls to the weight. I'd love to see a video where you react to your old routine and explain how it has changed with longer hair.

Cheryl Joaquin: Thank you for this great video. I am not really a beginner, but I love hearing more affordable product options to mix up my routine and find new favorites.

Hannah d: I really like your content!! Literally just discovered you, trying to figure how how to manage my thin, fine wavy hair. Hope you do a video for thin hair!! BTW you're so pretty

zuminnnn: the curls look amazing!!!❤❤

ashley guidroz: So interesting seeing you use a mask as your first step! I do that a lot also but haven’t seen anyone else do that!

N. M.: I recently stopped doing the curly girl method because I looked untidy and like I haven't combed my hair for a week, especially in the back side. It especially haopens when I do the routine with my head down. And when swiped up my hair is just messy and tangled and "unbrushed". Have any tip for this?

OnlineHowTo: Useful tips!

Nicole salas: I have the sheamoisture manuka honey & yogurt blue bottle conditioner! But it takes sooo many pumps of conditioner just to comb through my hair! Theres no slip :( im not sure if I should get another conditioner
