Testing 5 Heatless Curls Methods So You Don'T Have To! | Short, Medium, And Long Hair

Hey guys for video, I thought it'd be fun to test out some heatless curl s curlers. I found all these on Amazon and I'm about to dedicate a lot of time to this video. So please watch it. Please like let's go ahead and get started. So if I look like a greasy rotisserie chicken, it's because I'm about to go to sleep, but I need to do some heatless curls, so I can wake up tomorrow and show you guys. So let me real quick show you the curlers I'm about to use. So I bought five different heatless curlers that you can see here and we're gon na try them all. So I'm going to tell you guys what I recommend, what I don't recommend, um and yeah. That'S that's gon na be the video you guys know. I'M obsessed obsessed with rope curls. Normally I just use my robe belt, like off of my robe or I'll use a hair scarf like this I'll tie up two socks I'll even use like an old towel cut up an old towel. There'S so many options you can use, I've never felt the need to buy what I'm about to show you guys. So here's what I got it comes in this really fancy bag. I don't think this was very expensive. It comes with two nice silky scrunches, which is convenient. I like the conveniency of this. It comes with a clip, and this is it. I know you guys have seen this. I don't know, I don't know we're gon na see how I like it. So I'm just I'm gon na get started, so I'm just gon na place it on my head and use this nice little clip. I'M gon na walk through this fast because I already have videos on how to do this, but I'll show you real, quick, so grab a section on each side of the curler. Take your front section you're going to wrap it over and then under that curler back into the same hand, take the back section, wrap it over and under back into the same hand. Only thing different is now we're adding in hair, so just grabbing a section of hair, adding it in doing the same thing Crossing it over and then under the curler, adding in a section of hair to the back Crossing it over and under the curler and you're. Basically, just doing that all the way down, so it's not a French braid, because you're holding on to the same strand the entire time it's just kind of like wrapping it once you reach the end, tie it off with a hair tie all right. Let'S do the other side all right super quick to wrap my hair up. I will say, though, right off the bat I'm not trying to be negative, but with a hair scarf, it is flat when I lay on it. This is poofy. Here'S what we're working with I'll show you guys it up close, so I'm gon na go to sleep and I'll, see you guys in the morning it's the next morning. Let'S take these bad boys out. Okay, as always with my heatless curls, I'm just gon na brush them out with my fingers. Okay, what do we think? I think it looks pretty good um, definitely not as tight of a curl, as I would like. I find with my hair scarves that I use I'll post a video right here. It gives me really tight, beautiful curls, even with my robe tie. It gives me really tight curls um. This is pretty, but it's definitely looser. So I know I guess it just depends on the type of curl you want. So let me show you guys this up close all right. Okay, final thoughts, I do like the curls that it gave. I don't think it was super uncomfortable to sleep in it. Didn'T have an issue I could see how some might find it uncomfortable, but it does kind of Squish down. So it's not an issue. It comes with the clip, comes with everything you need to do your hair. If you're someone that doesn't have a lot of hair accessories, then I think this is a really good deal. Personally, I would just rather use what I have at home so, but I don't think it's bad at all. If you want to purchase it okay, it is night number two and we are gon na. Try out these heatless rollers. There'S there's a lot in here. They'Re pretty cute kind of reminds me of rag curls. It just feels foamy inside and then this is like wire and I am going to go ahead and put an oil on I'm trying out Kerastase, it's an Elixir oil. I don't know, let me wrap it around. Okay, my hair is like freshly washed, so it's like slipping out all right. There we go and I'm just gon na roll up to the top, make sure it's tied up against my head and I'm just moving the ends. They'Re like wiry and just putting them together. Like that a nice day, it doesn't move, that's pretty cool, I'm just gon na. Do this all around my head. Okay, we are all wrapped up. It probably took 10 minutes to get all these in not exactly sure what these curls are going to give me. So I will see you guys in the morning it is the next morning. I am tired. These weren't like terribly uncomfortable to sleep in it, was just whatever I slept fine, I have to say out of all the curlers. These surprise me the most: it's just not what I was expecting. I thought there would be a lot like Shirley Temple type of curls, but it's more so just curled at the end, not gon na lie not at all what I was expecting um. Obviously this needs like brushed out and worked with, so for all of these heatless curls. I did use my fingers and I brushed them all out. Okay, here's the final result, honestly, not mad at it, screaming children not mad at it. At all like this, this looks really good. This very much looks like a blowout and I'm here for it. I'M obsessed with it um, not terribly uncomfortable to sleep in slo-mo. Here, look at that bounce - I don't know I like it. Let me know what you guys think. I think it would have looked even better if I would have done like a roller for my bangs, but nonetheless it looks amazing all the way around. I love it, so it is now night three. I don't know why. I do this to myself, I film right before I'm about to go to bed and I'm like so sleepy right now, all right. So if you don't know what this is, these are called spoolies when I first started Instagram. I use these and I'm gon na put a clip up right here of me using them um, it's been a while. So just like every other night I am gon na put in an oil. They are just silicone, hair curlers. They look like this and I'm just gon na start at the bottom and just roll on it. Then, once you reach the top of your head, you just fold it down like that, I'm so annoyed. I used all the spoolies like how many was even in here, obviously not enough. I still have all this hair left to do and I don't have any spoolies left and guess what I'm not ordering more. I'M not because these were already like thirty dollars. So, with the rest of my hair, I'm just gon na wrap it around my finger because I don't want it to be straight and I'm just gon na copy pin these. I guess all right, that was fun um here we are. The rest of my hair is Bobby, pinned up yeah, here's, here's what it looks like, maybe after I get some rest I'll, have a change of heart tomorrow, and these will be like the most beautiful curls I've ever seen. Who knows it is the next morning, and I am beyond ready to get these dang things off my head, I'm a great sleeper. You can ask my husband he's always so jealous of how well I sleep not last night, I woke up several times and it was because of these things just trying to get comfy. Let'S just start taking them out. My hair got caught in these so many times. Taking these out like Ugh awful awful awful like literally it took me so long to get these out. Look at me struggling I'm trying not to pull my hair out because your hair, it does see. Do you see this, but there's like three strands of hair on that it feels so good to get all that out all right. Here'S what my hair looks like, so it curled very well um not gon na not gon na even lie they worked. They definitely worked, but is it worth sacrificing some of my hairs and is it worth sacrificing my sleep? No, so here's what it looks like and now I'm gon na brush some of these, like I had to use the bobby pin for that. So would I use these again absolutely not. Would I recommend these to you absolutely not um. Don'T don't waste your time, I'm sorry, but it's just not worth it. I forgot to show a clip of me with them after I took them out so here it is all right, so I think we are on day four of using curlers. I honestly cannot remember sure, we've all seen these it's been many many years. Last time I used these, my hair was really short, really damaged, um brittle. Just it didn't look the best I might have a video I can find if so I'll post it here they come in different sizes. You have skinny medium and big, so I did dampen my hair a little bit because I watched a video on how to use these, because I couldn't remember how I'm just gon na take a roller start at the bottom and I'm just gon na roll it up. So kind of like the way we use those one curlers, maybe the second day so yeah just roll them all the way up to the top when you get to the top they're bendy. So all you got to do is bend them and I'm just gon na whoa, I'm just gon na like cross them, there's no right or wrong way to do it. I don't know how comfortable these can are going to be to sleep in I'm kind of worried about that um. The spoolies literally jacked up my neck, and I just don't want to deal with that again, so they are all in. I used 15 of them and it took me about 10 minutes. So what it looks like I'll do, a quick spinny! If I had to guess I would say the curls are gon na turn out really pretty so fingers crossed. I sleep well, but yeah. I'M excited I'll, see you guys in the morning. It is the next morning were these the most comfortable to sleep in absolutely not. I woke up several times trying to get comfortable with these. I would say if you do want to wear these if they end up looking cute, maybe just wear them for, like a couple hours use some heat like from the blow dryer on them. I'M excited to take these out and see what they look like. So, let's do that now I used these years ago. I actually wrapped my hair around the roller instead of rolling it from the bottom up, if that makes any sense, so the curl is like completely different and you'll see my result, my face here in a minute. So now we're just gon na go ahead and brush them out with our fingers and see what they look like not gon na lie guys. I had High Hopes here I was like we're. This is looking good everything's going good. I might get a brush because I have a lot of Tangles be right back. I feel like it's not that cute anymore, all right! This is the best we're getting. What do we think um? Personally, I don't like it. I hate this. Maybe I shouldn't have brushed it. I don't know, I'm just not a fan of how it looks it's like flat up here and then just like all right. I'M done. We have one more set of curlers to try and crossing my fingers. Those work we're testing these. I don't even know what they are called. They look like this. I'M sure you guys have seen them. I do know from experience that each of these curls a different way. So one will curl left one one will curl right, but you just attach it like this. You put your curler through like this, and you just fold it down over it twist. It hook it hold on to it and then pull it through all right. There we go my face. Just says it all. These were the most annoying things to put in it. Literally took me 30 minutes. I can do rope, curls and last thing bye. Let me just show you real quick, so I'm wearing black pants, I'm going to show you all of the hair that came out of my head. Trying to put these things in just wait. Till you see this, are you kidding me? Look at that? Ah, no, oh, my precious hair! This is what it looks like I'm already dreading going to sleep, I'm gon na do a quick Spin and that's it. It is the next morning. So sorry, if you hear screaming toddlers in the background, but this was the most uncomfortable sleep - I've had in a long time. I know I said that with the spoolies, but these were really uncomfortable to sleep in do not recommend sleeping in them overnight. So, let's take them out, so I wish I would have just stuck with One Direction, maybe the purple Direction I wish I wouldn't have alternated, but that's okay, here's what it looks like these look, really good um. Obviously I need to brush them out so well with my fingers. I'M not going to use a brush pretty decent results, not gon na lie. Was it worth the pain and the suffering of my sleep? Absolutely not um. Was it worth the time and effort um? I don't think so. Absolutely no way would I do these weekly, not even monthly, maybe like once a year. I think these you can just not even waste your time, so I'm gon na do a 360 and show you guys anyways. So that is the video. Thank the lord it's over. This was a rough one. To do for me not gon na lie, I would say out of all of them that I tried my favorites. Were. These were definitely number one. I love the like blowout look. I gave not bad to sleep in at all and then runner-up. Is this thing right here? I like the convenience of it honestly do with this video what you will um.
