Hey guys, it's you okimi and welcome back to my channel, so today I'll be showing you guys how I blow out my hair, really sorry for this video, so let's just get right into it, starting off with freshly washed hair. My hair at this point is still what I'm just gon na go in and add some leave-in and then make sure that my hair is fully detangled okay, so now to get the boat best blow dry. What I do is a combination of following through with a brush and also the tension method. Basically, whatever you pull on your hair like this and then just pass a blow dryer through, so you can do it that way, but I like to add a brush as I'm doing it, because I find that this makes my hairs aligned and my hair is more Flowy by using a brush, not a comb and I'll link, everything that I'm using below once my hair has had leave it and is detangled well and is properly wet. I'M gon na grab my blow dryer, I'm also putting the brush to where my hair is facing me so that I can apply the blow dryer facing this way instead of against the brush. So I'm going to start by putting mine on warm and on the low setting and I'm going to hold it a distance away from my head. Like I'm blow drying it I'm going to just Glide the brush down my hair as it's drying and right now, the air from the blow dryer is only being directed at the part of my hair. That'S above the brush and above my hand there so that I can dry that part only as I'm stretching it out and I'm slowly moving the brush down as I'm holding this and distance away from my hair, using my fingers here to help keep the hair inside The brushes of the brush and this blow dryer that I'm using I got from Ulta and the low warm setting that it's on right now feels like I'm. Just blowing cool hair with just a hint of warmth does not feel that hot at all, essentially no chance of me putting any type of heat damage on my hair, simply because the heat is so so low because I'm also not going for a bone bone straight. Look I'm just lightly blowing out my hair, which is also why I want it to be remained on the lowest heat setting, almost cool all the way down. Until I reached the end of my hair foreign pass, I like to keep some of the texture in my hair, like this um yeah, and if you wanted to afterwards, you could even run through with your flat iron. This is also a good way of prepping. Your natural hair to be straightened like if you wanted bone bone straight, it's definitely best to blow dry your first, but I won't be doing that today. So that is the first piece and then I'm really going to, and that was just this was half of one twist, so I'm essentially just going to go through all of my head and divide each of the twists in half, I'm gon na put the one that I did already towards the back, so I'm leaving brush it out in the shower. I just finger detangled and now is when I'm actually going in a brush to fully make sure everything is tangle free. So I can do the chasing method with the brush easily, but I usually actually never really use a brush on my hair unless I'm doing something like this, where I'm blowing it out and since I had like 10 twists in my hair and I divided each of Them in half I ended up blow drying like 20 pieces and as I'm going through, like I said, not going for a super straight look. I want the end result to be a big big, fluffy hair, but if you want to get a more straighter outcome from your blow dry, the way you do, that is by increasing the heat of your blow dryer and making sure that your hair is very, very Wet if your hair is very wet and the blow dryer heat is on the higher side, you can actually end up with getting your hair very, very straight with just a blow dryer itself. So if you are trying to get a straighter look, that's what you can do, but since I'm going for just like a big blown out, poofy kind of look just my hair stretch, I'm allowing myself to use it on the lowest heat setting and my hair is Wet and if you want, you can also go in smaller sections so like this section is actually looking a bit too big, I'm going to divide it further in half. You just wanted to be sure that it can all go in the comb and that the air from the blow dryer can hit all of it. So you don't want to grab sections that are too too thick to where parts of it will still be wet or you'll have to go through multiple passes before it can all become dry, and also, I don't know if you saw there, I sprayed my hair a Little bit the ends of my hair with a little bit more water, just because it's really important that your hair is very wet throughout this entire process, because if you find that sections of your hair are starting to feel a little bit drier, you can re-wet your Hair, especially as you get towards the end, if, depending on how long this is taking you or if your hair dries quickly make sure that your hair is still wet throughout this entire process. I also forgot to mention about heat protectant, as you saw, I was only using leave-in, just because I didn't have protected in my house, which should be fine, so I'm not using that high of a heat but definitely get use of heat protectant, and you can add That in your hair, before you blow dry it as well coming together, moving along very quickly if you're someone who blow dries your hair generally, like after you style it with a hooded, dryer or just a regular dryer. This is essentially the same thing as drying. Your hair, normally like, after you style like with a wash and go or something except you're, just running a brush through your hair, as your hair is being dry. That'S why I really like this way of blow drying my hair safely, with putting the heat a little bit further away from my head, doing it on a low heat setting and also being gentle as I'm going through the brush. Like I said, I never really use brushes on my hair, so when I do, I'm also very gentle to make sure I'm not ripping through my hair as I'm using a brush to brush my hair through to blow it out and I'm also using the tangle tweezer Brush I'm not using like a regular white person brush. So that's also limiting the um chances of breakage from the brush itself. But then I'm just going through the rest of my hair, going in all of the sections and blowing it out in the same manner that I'm showing you and this what it looks like when I'm done with half of my hair. So it's coming along together and then moving on, as you can see, shrink is just crazy. My hair stretch. So as I'm stretching my hair right now, it's actually not being stretched all the way. As you can tell, that was like the full stretch length of my hair that I just showed, but I wasn't going for a fully fully straightened. Look. I want this big fro. Look as you see right here. This is the final look, I'm so so excited and happy with the way it turned out. Funny thing is, I used to do Styles like this, create Styles like this with crochet, so this was my hair before um, and this is how it looked after and it's cool being able to create it with my real hair now but um to me from Instagram Heavily inspired this look, I'm gon na start putting by inspiration, because I feel like I'm probably inspired by people, my friends in real life and then people I follow on Instagram as well, but she heavily inspired. This look, I feel like I did a pretty good job of recreating it uh but yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I hope this helped. You learn how to blow out your hair and I'll, see you in the next one bye, foreign
