Mean this is the second generation and it is still super heavy. I mean it's giving a pair of faucet it's giving 90s it's giving old school. It'S also just giving beautiful kinky girly natural hair and I'm here for it. I had a good people welcome. So you guys have asked me for many years to try the Revere and I finally did it and I have lots of thoughts, but let's just get into it. I started by washing my hair cleansing conditioner. It had been three weeks. I had my hair in twists. I put them out for a couple days for dates, because y'all know I'll be in these streets and then I just finally washed my hair. I kept it super simple because I wanted clean hair that would blow out well wouldn't come out with a bunch of product right, so it kept it super simple I just cleansed - and I conditioned this - was my first time using this conditioner, but I will have a Review of it going up on patreon after I use it a few more times, and then I went straight into applying my product for styling. So for styling I used two products: the it's a tan Miracle, leave-in, it's a good strengthening product that leaves the hair light. Doesn'T have any oils that really didn't want any oils in my leave-in, when I blow out my hair, I don't add any oils any instructions for the products, they don't add any oils, and then I went in with the kinra blow dry spray specifically because it speeds Up drying time all in itself it also protects against heat and it's another light product. I did not use it a lot. I applied everything in large sections, so I didn't use a lot and then I just brushed it through with my Felicia Leatherwood brush, and I did that because I used this brush for styling, so my hair is detangled and this just kind of stretches in my hair. A little bit and gets the product through then I went in with the rare there. As you can see here, I was little hesitant about the suction action, but it wasn't too much. Actually you don't feel it pulling on your hair at all and iPhone instructions. So I just put it on, and I kind of moved the river around. That'S it. It was easy as that, all right, it's about to be the quickest blowout of my entire life. What um? I did follow instructions. My hair is long um. So it's hard for you to see the full frame now I'm not getting like silky blowout, but I am getting straight hair here here. Um The Roots aren't getting that straight at all, so there's that um they're getting stretched. But you know I I feel like there's still a good amount of Kink, which is good to me. It'S not coming out hot at all the hair, but um that last pass. I just did I kind of felt the heat on my scalp, which is why I moved it, but you can't feel that heat at all when you're holding the dryer or when I pull my hair out. I cannot feel that heat, which is a really big plus now three sections. This thing I like you, you could tell. I did not turn it off in that time. I just sectioned it before I did it um, and that was like five minutes like I said you don't want to be doing this for an hour, I'm using setting six, but I'm going to turn it to seven. I chose the setting based on watching a video for kinky hair type 4 hair on Revere's website, which you get access to by QR code. So there's that I just followed what the woman did. She did seven. I did six because I'm a little scar of the suction, but so far it's fine. My hair is coming out smooth and soft one thing about a blowout. Your hair has to be completely dry. If you want it to come out smooth and when I was pulling it out, the ends weren't completely dry, which I don't know it could be because my hair was long. They weren't like too wet, but I could feel the dampness. So that's why I went back and put it in again after I had done all three small sections that just shocked the crap out of me. I'M going to turn this up to seven and do the next section and we'll see we'll see what happens but wow. I'M impressed by that is this heavy? Yes, even though I have a thing up there, this in itself is heavy. This is a vacuum. Basically, I thought it was, but it doesn't take much time that might be okay um. So that was one section of my hair. I'M about to do the second section if you're new here I have fine strands, but I have dense hairs. I honestly don't know and didn't know what to expect from this device, because you know it's a lot. I will say it is heavy. Y'All can tell me like what was the previous version like I don't even know, but I was excited to dig into this um. I just I'm I'm enjoying long hair right now, which, if you know me it's a it's a surprise yeah. As you can see, it got pretty straight because I didn't put a lot of product in it. It'S very flowy, I will say if you guys saw it, was like holding up the river. I found that if I hold the Revere nozzle above, where I'm doing the hair, it adds more attention to the roots, so you get straighter roots. So I think this side lies a little differently than this side as a result like the where I started is not as like Smooth at the root, which is fine, we're learning right um. I will say also that I liked seven and high heat that worked best got it done fast enough, so I'm gon na go ahead and add some serum to each side, just a few pumps to each side and then I'm gon na style it. This is going to be a really simple Style, but I'm I'm gon na start it today and finish it tomorrow when it's high high and then I'm just going to create two braids and then I'll be back tomorrow to finish the hairstyle, which you've probably already seen So I braided my hair in two big braids. I have fine hair, so this ends up looking pretty small, but I mean that's the nature of fine hair and I just left this in my hair overnight, so it was more than 12 hours. It took it out. The next day, but I didn't put any kind of water product on there I put on the serum and that's it. I didn't want my hair to revert, but I still wanted it to take shape so it needed overnight. Since I didn't have more heat added, and the high ponytail, as you will see in a moment, is really important. I'M gon na take these braids down and we'll see what I come out with here right. I will note, though, like while I was blowing out my hair. I did try various things. I don't know what the first version of this was like, but this is heavy. There ain't no two ways about it. Don'T tell anybody lie to you, but the whole time. I was doing my hair, I left it up there, I put it on the dresser, and I only held this. This was still somewhat heavy kind of propped my arm up after a bit, but for the most part it was okay. So, yes, this part weighs a whole lot and I would put it on a well ventilated surface, but this part isn't nearly as bad. I was doing my hair. I did end up trying different speeds and different um heat levels and the low heat level uh took a while, like it took me like three different times through to get my hair dry. The no heat was bust. It was no point in that which I hadn't done it and then the high heat one was the perfect temperature to get my hair dry in one pass like 60 seconds. One pass all right, so this is what we're going for we're going for a textured look with the hair to one side, all right. So when you go to pin this, you want to pin it to where you're, paying like the middle of your head to go too far over you'll lose like it'll, stick up and you'll lose the movement right and then for the front. Here I like to kind of just make it kind of like a swoosh, which is why the volume is so important. You'Ve got to do a high ponytail to get the volume. If you do it too low, it's going to be flat, and so you see how like there's natural volume here and then I just swoosh it back and boom. It'S really cute holiday hairstyle for those who are in the kitchen, if you're, not in the kitchen too, but like I be cooking from like the night before all the way to the like through the day of, and so it's really easy to just put a bunch Of a few ponytails in my head and keep it high and then boom, it looks super cute. You take it down, it's easy, it's super cute, it looks like you tried, like you, did some wand curls or something and it's just your natural texture. You could also use edge, control and all that stuff, but if you're new here I'll be doing all that, like I have a kinky texture, I'm trying to fight all that it just it the volume that my texture naturally has works with this hairstyle and it just Comes out really really cute, as you can see, I had to put on a red lip because it was just it was screaming for it right. It is deep red lip season so to maintain this style at night. I'Ll just literally put my hair into braids overnight, and let that be that I've already set it with the high ponytail, so the volume isn't going to go away until I wash it because that's the beauty of textured type for hair. It remains in its shape. So all I got ta do is put two braids in at night, I'm not going to add any more product, nothing once it starts to get dry I'll, just wash my hair. But if you enjoyed this hairstyle check out this video here to see more hairstyles from me and if you really enjoyed this video make sure you like And subscribe before, you go because it helps me out, and you can see me in the next one.

Nandi Stokely: The high pony braid for blown out hair is so smart and the results are Beautiful! Doing this Tonight!!

CaraNaturally: Gorgeous! Looks like they just made the case smaller, lol. My hair is fine as well and I do like 8 to 10 sections, about a minute each section on the highest heat and tension. I do a downward smoothing motion on my roots which gets them pretty straight. Overall, I love the breakage free results I get and I got prollems so I will be looking for a sale come the end of the month so I can get me this one too! Thank you so much for sharing.❤❤❤

Nandi Stokely: Great video! I hope you use this tool again and give us an updated opinion later. I have the Gen 1 version and I LOVE it! It's not light but I personally don't feel it's all that heavy. I use high heat & tension level 10. If I do very small sections I get silky results but it takes longer than my current method: I first dry with the Revair in medium sections then switch to the Dyson with the comb attachment. The Dyson gets the roots and silks out the lengths. I know that's a very expensive blowout but the results are perfect! Also I like Color Wow Dream Coat and Pop & Lock for blowouts - the results are super light, almost naked feeling hair. Thanks for sharing!

Aisha C: Cute style. I’m hoping they’ll do a Black Friday sale

Kearsten W: Purdy!!!!!! It looks so " regal" Simply Beautiful healthy long hair, I'm digging it, maybe on my Christmas list!

Chi Denise: I have the original. Got it on sale 2 years ago at 299. I absolutely love it. I don't even use any of my other blow dryers anymore.

Wanda Barnett: I’m going to try this look! Thanks for your review of the RevAir! I haven’t decided yet if I’m getting one.

Kiki: I'm so upset I haven't gotten my Melanin deep conditioner yet! I bought it off her website as soon as she introduced it. Now everyone is telling me to go to Ulta. I believe if I purchased it though her website, I should be able to get it that way.

angel_arabella: Love this! I’m going to try this style I have the Dyson and still can’t get my ends straight they most of the time feel a lil brittle when blow dried. If you have any suggestions please let me know. Thanks

Jan Daw: Really want to buy one but they've closed their UK site during the pandemic,so disappointing. The only way to get one now is through ppl reselling via Ebay or fb marketplace

TressesOfAlexis: I agree! I like it A LOT but it’s still heavy and loud

Meg n: I have the previous version....just collecting dust now....that was a total waste of money! Do not care for it, the wand broke after a few months and had to get replaced. Also dries out my hair ☹ Your hairstyle came out very nice, will have to try that, thanks!

Kearsten W: The original version must have felt like a house!

Varinia Nevilles: I hate my rev air! I know a lot of people love it. I literally want to sell mine
