Having the right products is super important, but if you don't know how to use them, you're not going to get the results that you want. So today I want to go over a couple of the most commonly misused hair products and show you how a couple tricks can make a huge difference in the way your hair looks. If you don't know me, my name is Chris. I own a hair salon called live, love lacks where we test out products and bring the best ones to you and make these videos because way too many people struggle with their hair, and I don't want you to be one of them. Leave-In conditioner my absolute favorite product of all time. You must be using this leaving this out of your routine is just like leaving shampoo out of your routine. It'S not a wise move. Your leave-in conditioner should always be a spray, not a cream. If you have a cream make sure to look at the label again, it's probably a leave-in treatment, which is something totally different. It should be a spray. I'M going to use this to demonstrate how you apply spray products. Spray products are typically pretty light, so they don't weigh your hair down very much and really what you're going for more than anything is full and even coverage. The best way to do that is to always hold your spray. A good bit away from your head about a foot is good. That way. When it comes out, you get a fine Mist. If you have it right next to your head, you're going to get a big squirt glob, where it's way too much in one place, you're not going to get full even coverage, doing it really close to your hair. Most people misuse this because they listen to the directions the directions lie. Actually, the directions on most hair products lie because they're written by people who want you to use a lot of the product, so you burn through it and have to buy more the direction on this bottle say that you can use this all the time to refresh Your style, but you never want to do that. If you use this on dry hair, it's going to feel weird, it's going to get crunchy and the texture is going to be really bad. The only time you ever want to use this is when your hair is still damp or wet you towel dry, your hair and then use this as a base, as the first thing that goes on your hair, never use this on dry hair. You also need to know how much you should use and for that it really depends on your hair type for fine hair. You can do like eight to ten sprays for medium hair. I would do like 10 to 12 and then for coarser. I would do 12 to 16.. You want to get most of it on your mids and ends. You don't want to have all of it on your roots. You want to do a couple sprays up here around the crown of your head just enough to get coverage, but most of it should be on your mids and on your ends. The reason I give you a range of sprays, instead of an exact amount of sprays, is because it varies from person to person. It depends on your hair, routine and the other products that you're using to figure out exactly how many sprays you should use start low and then go up little by little. Try it out see if you can find a sweet spot where you get enough, where your hair looks nice and silky and smooth, but not so much that it weighs it down. So hair oil is one of those tricky products. You really need to see a demo of somebody using it. It'S not something that you could read about in a book or see. Pictures of you need to see it in video. There'S two uses for hair oil number one. You can use it after shower to moisturize your hair, or you can use it just to polish your look up and give you a nice shiny, clean, look using it to hydrate after a shower is the most important way to use it, and it's actually mandatory. You want to use this to hydrate the driest part of your hair. After a shower, which is your ends, your ends are super delicate and they tend to dry out really quickly because they're, the oldest and most damaged part of your hair and because they're actually Exposed on the ends. It makes it really hard for them to retain moisture and that's where hair oil comes in instead of having those rough dry, frizzy looking ends this hydrates, it polishes it up and protects it from splitting the way you want to use. This is take a couple of drops, put it in your hands and then rub your palms together to kind of spread it out. Your hands should be glistening, they shouldn't be wet. You shouldn't see droplets of oil. On your hand, it should just be kind of glistening from the oil on it. So let let's go over how you would use oil in an actual hair routine. You just got out of the shower. You washed your hair, you condition it and it's still full of moisture from the conditioner, so you're going to do your normal styling routine. However, you like to do it and then, at the very end, you're going to start putting oil on your ends. Just to your ends, only your ends don't go up here or anything like that. Just go over the ends over and over and over until you look nice and shiny and hydrated, and that dull dry look goes away. The second use of hair oil that we talked about is to add shine to your hair when you're, just adding shine, you don't need to add any moisture you're going to use a very, very tiny, tiny bit like less than a couple drops when we applied the Oil to our ends, it was actually being absorbed by the ends to help hydrate them. But when we're adding shine, we don't need nearly as much because all it's doing is sitting on top of the hair instead of being absorbed by the hair. You'Ll notice that, after you put the oil on your ends, you'll still have a little bit on your hands and that's exactly what you want. That'S perfect because that's what we're going to use to polish up the rest of your hair, so you're going to go up higher and higher up your mids and then you can even do a little bit on top if you have any flyaways. But really you only want to do that with a tiny amount that you have left. You would never put a ton of oil in and then go up on your mids and Roots it's best to use oil on dry hair. So you can see exactly what you're doing, but if you're in a hurry you can use it on wet hair, it's just hard to tell the difference between what's water and what's oil, it's really easy to use too much or not enough on wet hair spray is Probably the most misused hair product of all time, it's because nobody actually explained to them how it works. So let's go ahead and do that right now. Hairspray is not like most things in life. With your career, the more hours you work, the more money you make makes total sense, but hairspray is like romance where the harder you try it, the more likely you are to scare somebody away. You'Ve heard me say it before: you've heard me say it a million times the iron rule of hair is that less is more more hairspray is not better hairspray works by supporting your style, you spray it on, and it reinforces whatever shape. Your hair is already in everybody knows that part, but what most people don't realize is that you get the full benefit of hairspray on the first coat. In other words, it's kind of like paint where you can do one coat two coat three coats of paint whatever on a wall. Three coats is no big deal, but on your hair you only want to do one coat, because hairspray only provides support when it's actually going on your hair. In other words, the first coat of hairspray goes on your hair. That'S great. It gives support, but the second coat goes on top of the first coat and you're just putting coats on top of coats on top of coats and they're not actually adding any support. So, adding more than one coat of hairspray only adds weight and that drags your hairstyle down and works against you and at that point you're just wasting product to give yourself a worse result and the more hairspray you add, the heavier it's going to get the worse. Your style is going to look and it's not going to feel good. It'S going to be heavy and gross and producty you're going to have to wash that much sooner. My favorite light hairspray is camera perfect, medium, 13., it's great for flyaways and small things, just to kind of hold your style together a little bit, and it feels and smells amazing. But if you're more into really strong hair sprays, I would go for redken's control. Addict 28.: this is a really strong hairspray, but it's still super brushable. You can get your fingers through your hair, there's no crunch or anything like that. As long as you use a reasonable amount, so we talked about exactly how many coats you want to do, which is just one. But how do you know how many coats you're actually putting on there and the key to knowing is what you want to do? Is only use this in any one area of your hair for six seconds, so you can do this side for six seconds. You can do this side for six seconds. You can do the back for six seconds, but any longer than that and you're gon na add more than you really need. One more thing that I see a lot of people get wrong. Is that you want to spray your hair, however you're going to wear it. So if you wear your hair over your shoulders spray it over your shoulders, Don't Spray in the back and then bring it over your shoulders. It'Ll give you a really weird look. Put it, however, you're going to wear it and then spray it when it's in that position, people are still sleeping on blow dry creams. If you use a blow dryer or a blow dry brush. This will make an absolutely massive difference. If you apply it correctly, the other day, I was training a new stylist, and I noticed that the model she was working on her ends just looked really really bad. They look dry and scraggly, and I couldn't understand why? Because she was using perfect technique, it turned out that the trainee had forgot to put olplex 6 on her model's ends, and that's why it didn't look right with clients. I try to keep it simple and tell them to just use one blow dry cream, but at the salon we're professionals we should be able to do more complicated things and do whatever it takes to get the best results. So what we do is mix blow dry creams. We have two that we start out with if you have fine or medium hair, we're going to use a big blowout. If you have coarse hair, we're going to use redken's Rebel tame, but no matter what every client always gets old clicks six on my hair because it improves the shine and texture of the hair by so much and by forgetting to put this on with the trainee. That'S where things went off the rails. I try really hard to never say always do this or always do that, but blow dry creams are an absolute must. They protect your hair from the damage of the heat of a blow dryer and they add on longevity to your style. They make it so much shinier if you're not using this you're damaging your hair, and it's not going to look as good, and it's not going to last as long so. The way these work are essentially like all the other products. Less is more. You want to use about a pea-sized amount if you have shoulder length hair. If you have really long hair. If you have really thick hair, you can use a little bit more, but most people with shoulder length, hair. You want to use about a pea-sized amount, you're going to rub your palms together to spread the products throughout your hands and then you're going to start from the bottom up bottom up, not top down. You want most of it to go on your mids and ends because that's the oldest most damaged part of your hair that needs the most help so again, start low on your ends, work your way up to your mids and then, when you have only a very Little amount left, then you can start doing your top. You shouldn't be have like blobs on top, it should only be a little bit the residual. That'S left after you're doing your ends and mids. That'S what you're going to do to put it all over the top of your head. There is an exception where you do want to put it up around the crown of your head to get volume, but that's an advanced class. Don'T worry about that right now! That'S a totally separate video after you've applied your blow dry cream. You want to use a detangling brush to spread it out evenly throughout your hair. If you do it just with your hands, it's really easy to get clumps in certain areas, so it's not evenly distributed. So make sure brush it out, spread it out and then start blow drying. Alright guys. Thank you so much for watching. If you have any questions, leave a comment below me or someone from the community will get back to you. If you want to know what products I use I'll have a list of all the products from this video in the bottom here in the description, if you haven't got my recommended product list, I really recommend that you go and grab it now, it's in the description As well, that's basically your starting point to come into my world. I'M going to tell you exactly what your hair type is. There'S a quiz just answer a couple questions, you'll figure out your exact hair type and exactly which products you need. It'Ll walk you through everything. Without you having to guess, thank you so much for watching. I really appreciate it have a good one.

Blowout Professor: Get my Recommended Product List here... https://blowoutprofessor.tiny.us/2p853etf

Jan: I asked all these questions last week and this week you answered them for us. Thank you for the most honest and realistic approach to hair on social media!

Lu G: Using the Pureology Leave-In, the Redken Blowout Jelly and a drop or two of Olaplex (after my hair is dry) has been a game-changer for my fine, silver hair! Thank you so much! ❤

Claudia: Another helpful tip if you have the olaplex oil. If you hold the bottle upside down you can tap on the bottom according to the exact amount of drops you want out. You don’t have to shake it to get the product out like I originally thought.

kiwibirder: This was excellent. I am using your recommended products, but I was definitely using too much blow dry cream. I also think I need a bit less than the recommended amount of leave-in conditioner on my very fine hair. Thanks!

Colleen Crawford: Your advice has changed my hair. It’s smooth now, which is amazing considering how fried dried and frizzy my hair is. I stopped washing daily and I never wear my hair “naked” without leave in conditioning. Thank you sooo much!! You are so awesome!

Becky & The Cats: Thank you for going so in-depth on the "why" behind your advice. So informative and interesting! I recently cut off over 10" - went from long hair to a fabulous "lob". I am trying out a bunch of new products (several from. your list!), and am struggling with how to best apply/use them on my much-shorter hair. Your models in this video were all long hair/one length. I'd love to also see a video for us girls with shorter styles :). (Also, I really like the set up of recent videos, the straight-to-camera presentation style is excellent. Thanks!)

monique genua: Just loved all your tips! Can you cover thin, mature short styles, and products. Also how to use products when you have to use hair fibers. That would be so helpful. You have such detailed important tips and the way you present them is FABULOUS!!TY

Mr Jahangeer B: Love all of your videos, Chris. Thank you for being so genuine, informative and humble when giving all of your advice. It means a lot!

Elinora Rose: Hello Chris! I've been watching your videos regularly for about over a month now and i've been following all your tips exactly as how you describe it. I've been using the puerology hair fanatic leave in, i've used the olaplex treatment (no 3) every other week, each time after showering i'd use the leave in on towel dried hair following it up with olaplex no 6 and after i finish styling with blowdry brush i'd apply the oil. i've used the recommended amount and apply from my mid to end length. Thing is, my hair is just so frizzy no matter what i do, even if i decide to not style my hair or let it dry naturally or if i use the antifrizz attachment on my regular blow dryer, it always ends up being frizzy. i haven't chemically treated my hair in over 2/3 years, last thing i did was use henna back in March but other than that i haven't used any other type of dye or bleach. what should i do? or what am i doing wrong? i want my hair to look sleek and natural but it's just always frizzy. i'm middle eastern, i'd say i have medium hair, a bit past shoulder length and i trim my hair at least once a year but no matter what i try or how i struggle it's just frizzy and have a lot of flyaway, what should i do differently?

Serena: I can swear the blowout profesor has saved my hair..i've been using a ton of products with little results..now that i am following the hair routine for coarse hair..ive been seeing results..even in the crown where my hair has a lot of breakeage because of a bad keratin treatment and a very heavy decoloration..thank you..maybe i Will go to your salon one Day.. hugs from Panama city..Panama.

Kim H: So happy to have found this channel, thank you for the awesome product recommendations and hair advice! I have a question about dealing with static. I have medium hair and I'm using the redken volume injection shampoo & conditioner, the pureology color fanatic leave in conditioner, olaplaex #6 and #7 (the oil on dry hair), but with the weather getting colder and dryer I'm starting to have a lot static in my hair. Should I be using more of a product to fix it or something else?

Amber lamp labarge: Hi, im a recovering CGM person so I've been told alot of what you say is wrong, IE towels, dimethicone, sulfates, etc. So it's hard to use your tips without thinking im doing something wrong. Any thoughts??

Adeena Wisenthal: Another great video. I have been using your recommended products and my hair feels like hair! I use the Redken Cleansing Cream shampoo (once/week), Redken volume injection shampoo (and conditioner), Pureology leave in conditioner, Redken big blowout, and Kendra medium hair spray. My problem is that with my fine hair (which has some curl/wave in it), I don’t have volume and no structure to my hair to hold my blow dry. So my hair feels good but soft and with no hold. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Queenbee R: These videos are great and so helpful!! I just bought all the products you suggest from shampoo to hair oil and can't wait to try them. Many thanks Chris!!

Anna Pajor: Thanks Chris, these tips are really helpful! I’m also curious if you and your team have or plan test the epres ( it’s supposed to be better than olapex) I’d be very interested to hear your findings. ❤

H P: Chris - I've just discovered YOU! GREAT videos. I LOVE that you don't blah/blah/blah and just get to the point. GREAT JOB!

Michelle H.: Hi Chris, thanks to you i'm using the Redken Blowout Jelly & it's been a game changer! Now I only need to get my hands on the pureology leave in conditioner ☺️ if anyone from Belgium is watching this and knows where to get it, please let me know! Keep up the great videos!

aimee novo: I have very curly hair but i blow dry n flat iron straight every other week. Ive been following his tips and I can honestly say my hair looks and feels better and my style last longer

Al Hannah: Hey Chris, regarding the oil application - I use the Olaplex oil as heat protection prior to drying and straightening. I feel a little confused as you have said in this video to apply after styling? Can you clarify please?

Katie Hesling: I’m obsessed with your videos! You’re the reason I’ve completely changed my products. Please could you advise on how to get that ‘glass’ look. Basically the glossy hair that the Kardashians’ have! I use all the products but feel my hair still doesn’t looks ‘glossy’. Thank you <3

Mary Alvin: Chris loving the advice I think I binge watched all your videos lol Can you do a video on an air drying routine (no styling) I rarely style my hair and so it would help to hear tips on how to air dry properly. Thank you!

Myrna Garcia: Hi Chris, you videos are excellent I’ve been use pureology leave in my hair loves it. I have curly hair maybe next time you can do video on curly hair.

Trina Gallo: This was really helpful! My favorite oil is Moremo Delightful Oil. I use from nape down to waist…. but now I know I’ve been applying too much! Weighs it down. From now on, just ‘til my hands are coated/ “glistening”… not dripping Tks. Totally agree- ALWAYS use Olaplex 6 after on damp hair But I have the same problem as above… I used too much! But not anymore! Results are great! Thanks again! However, I still refuse to use a blow dryer No offense.

kittyskid1: So helpful. I've been applying products all wrong all these years.

Shweta Singh: Ok so for fine hair that gets oily fast, what’s the leave in conditioner you recommend? Love your videos. Game changer!

sara: What can we use to refresh our hair during the week? Especially for friz? ( I put olaplex oil on the ends but feel like I need something extra)

Suki Silva: Thoughts on redken acidic bonding shampoo and conditioner for medium and fine hair? :)

Rehs Sllew: Hi! How long do you wait after applying leave in to apply the blow dry cream? Thanks

Lulu: Being a curly...I gotta say I prefer my leave-in cream conditioner! I bought the Purology one you recommend, but it's just not enough for curls :D Curls are thirsty haha

Marieke Stolp: Game changers!! Thank you so much for your clear videos, loving them so much!

Regine Schüller: Exactly the video I wad looking for! I just bought most of the products you recommend for blonde hair but I was wondering how I use them correctly. Thank you!

Megan Maciel: love your videos so much! an actual lifesaver & im actually excited about my hair now that i know what to do with it! lol quick question tho: so I usually brush my hair before getting in the shower because I heard that if you don't do so, more hair will fall out in the shower when washing it. I've been doing this for like almost 10 years now & I just wanted to know if there was any truth in that statement? or if there's another way to make sure less hair falls out in the shower? thank you so much for your time!

MaNell Hembree: I love these videos and your style of teaching and I use and love most of the products you recommend! A question: if using olaplex no. 6 and the redken blowout cream, which should go on first? Or do you just mix them together?

xtine leal: So when do u put Olaplex 6 on the hair? Before or after the blow dry cream but before the oil?

Lori Coleman: I keep signing up for the recommended product list but it doesn't show up in my inbox. I checked my spam folder but still nothing. I would love to have this list. I am learning so much from these videos. Thank you so much for doing them and for sharing your expertise on hair and hair care products and styling. You are awesome!

Indigo_Incognitus: Hi Chris! What would be your approach to scalp massagers - I mean those which have silicon (?) spikes for the massaging part, and are supposed to use while shampooing. Are those good or bad for hair?

AC: Tons of thanks for the helpful tips! As Pureology is not available in Asia (I tried online purchase but they didn‘t deliver to HK), is there any alternative leave in conditioner you may recommend, Chris?

CecilPie: So helpful, thank you! Could you do a follow up regarding products in second (or 3+) day hair? For example, can you do another coat of hairspray?

elssha: A slightly off-topic question; You say to use Olaplex 3 on wet hair **before** shampooing, and shampoo twice... But elsewhere you say that putting stuff on hair with product still on it (dirty) blocks the product from working... So my question is, wouldn't it be better to shampoo, Olaplex 3, then shampoo again? Or is there a reason not to do it that way? Thanks!

새끼고양이: thanks for the video, i have a tendency to spray the conditioner closer because i always end up spraying it in the air or my face/ arm if i’m too far i’ll try this since i’m working out today and washing my hair ~ have a good day

Joyce Diener: This video was very helpful. However I have a longer pixie cut and fine wavy hair. Should I condition my hair in the shower and use the leave in conditioner? Also I have the olaplex oil and cream. Should I use those too? What is the amount of the blowout jelly for short hair? Should you use hairspray on second day hair if you used on freshly washed Hair? Second day hair is hard for women wit short hair. I would appreciate your help!! Thanks Most hair video’s are for women with long hair.

jigglybits: thanks for this! everyone talks about which products to use but rarely application ❤

Davida Ghanash: Love this video. Very helpful and I am loving the leave in conditioner..

Alicia J: I've been using my leave in conditioner spray on dry hair to brush out the tangles. I have a very good wet brush, but my hair still gets tangled on 2nd day and so on, even in the protective style with hair oil on the ends. What else can I do?

Shab Amiri: Your hair wisdom is much appreciated ❤

Grandma Sue: I was wondering who I could ask. The package directions on the clear glosses and the hair waters never tell you this. Should these products (not used together, BTW) be used before, after, or instead of the conditioner?

Claudia Bernal: I was this years old when I found out leave-in conditioner is not the same as leave-in treatment ‍

Ann Marie: So helpful! I've been wondering about just this thing!

VelvtHamr: Hi Chris! Thanks for the video! I’m a licensed esthetician, so I can purchase professional salon products. If I go a day without washing my hair it looks like I slept on a pizza. I have SEVERE fragrance allergies. Like, I look like the Michelin Man around cats, dog, and when fragrance touches me. I tried using the Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil for blowouts, Olaplex No. 3 for repair, and Olaplex No. 8, and besides coughing half to death, I smelled like a 100 year old grandmother. Is there a fragrance free brand you like? I really enjoy No Nothing Mousse but their line in limited. :( Please help!

Monica: Could you make a video on managing hair for people who use minoxidil because it leaves residue. Thanks!

s a: Hi Chris, I have been using the Redken Volume Injection shampoo and conditioner along with the Pureology leave in conditioner and Olaplex hair oil for my fine hair, based on your recommendation. I have been using a different brand of heat protectant spray but maybe I should purchase the Redken Blowout Jelly instead...any thoughts?

Devon Bear: That’s helpful about the hairspray thank you. I always used to spray several light layers on a night out thinking it would hold it better. I’ll try just one now

Jenni D: Where does heat protectant fit in with this order if using a blow dryer? Thank you so much for these videos, you are completely changing everything I every thought I knew about hair!!!

Șușu: But if you only put that little blowout cream on your ends how are your roots supposed to be protected from the heat. Do we have to use normal heat protectant on our roots and then a blowout cream on the ends? Because the small residue from your hands will certainly not be enough to protect the roots, right?

Erin Callow: Hi Chris, do you have an Amazon storefront? I would love to buy your recommended products such as the shower cap you recommended as well as hair clips, stuff like that! Thanks!!

BleedInAllColours: Applying for the advanced class on blowdry cream on the crown for volume!

Jan McMahon: I would love for you to do a tutorial on styling and product use for short fine hair. I use most recent f the products you recommend but need help with maintaining volume for three days between washes

Hilary Bennett: So can the Redken frizz dismiss rebel tame be used for both leave in and blow drying?

Amanda Williams: But Chris, I have above shoulder hair and when I spray the leave in I can’t avoid it getting to my roots/top of my head making it heavier. What do I do

April Rayne: Hi Chris. I'm new to your channel and I am impressed. I have alot of breakage that sticks out, my scalp doesn't get oily. I wash my hair once to two times a week, and breakage is bad after blowing drying it. I do use heat protector, put purology mousse in hair and my hair is gross. I have been doing once a week hair washing and still the same. My hair is soft but breakage is bad. Can you please tell what products to buy? Also, do I condition hair in shower and put leaving conditioner after shower? How do you apply oplex 7 on layered hair?

w rv: Always a great video, honest and clear.

Julie Brown: Thank you for a very informative video. I have been using all my products so wrong. The hairspray one I realised doing it wrong all the time . I have hairspray buildup now I know why . Any recommendations to help remove it I would be so grateful for.

Davida Ghanash: These videos are very helpful. There is so much of hair products out there sometimes we don't what to buy...and ended up spending alot of money..

Kim Young: First thanks so much for all the info you share!!! When your done blow drying hair should you blow it with the cold air then put oil, etc in hair? If your going to use a hot iron on hair after you blow dry it, should you use the cold air on the dryer then style with the thermal spray and straighten? Thank you!!

Aleesha Darling: I just found your channel and love you content! Quick question if you have a fringe should you add a tiny bit of hair oil to the fringe ends?? Also I got your recommended list of products for hair types and can not find where to purchase Pulp Riot Shampoo and conditioner in New Zealand. Do you know where I could find this in New Zealand? Or could I still use the Redken one as I air dry my hair.

Taylor Dawson: I like the Ref leave in conditioner but your suggestions have truly made a difference!!!

Nancy S: OK I like your tips.I have bottom length fine wavy /curly hair that needs some TLC. I live in the Pacific Northwest its foggy a lot and the outer layer of my hair gets rough sort of frizzy. Can you please share some haircare tips for those of us who don't blow dry or use hot tools on our hair? Thanks

pauline o'brien: Let me get this correctly...Pureology leave in on wet hair, then blow dry cream on wet hair, then olaplex bonding oil, after it's dry?

Lauren Skee: Also, can you talk about these hair youtubers claiming air drying your hair is no more damaging than blow drying?

Samantha Nettie: I’ve been using the BB bond building repair styling cream, I have fine, thin, shortish hair… Is that a good product for my hair type that will also help it to repair the ends?

Gina Marino: I got a hair cut last month. I seen that my hair stylist had hair oil at her station. I asked her if she could use that in my hair. She said no, you don't need that. I asked her again & she said believe me it's not for you, it's for a different kind of person. I let it go after that but I was confused because yes my hair type is wavy not curly & it is oily at the root but my ends get dry because my hair is highlighted.

Kim Bushell: Hi Chris! Huge fan of the videos and I am totally converted over to your system. I have a question - Health Canada just recalled a bunch of dry shampoos due to the fact they can cause cancer due to the propellants in them. I would like to find a dry shampoo that does not have an propellants. Can you make any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

Paula Bertone: Found your channel today, and your content is amazing. I have fine hair - any cruelty-free recommendations for professional shampoo and conditioner? Redken is not cruelty free. :( Thank you!!

77mirr: Great video! Thanks! Question- do you use #6 and the blow dry cream together?

Stacey Shaffer: I don't use any of the products from the list.... My favorite hair spray Is the R+Co Outer space because it's very light weight and doesn't leave a sticky residue This hair spray lasted me for 2 years..... I just bought some blow dry cream from Walmart and I am happy with the results... The blow dry cream I bought is Not Your Mother's Blow Dry Cream...... And the hair oil I use is the Sweet Almond hair oil

Priyanka Pargaonkar: Can you suggest alternative products that are available internationally?

Andra Dumitrascu: Hello! What is the difference between olaplex nr 6 and moroccanoil smoothing cream and which one is better? Thank you!

Tress Obsessed: I tried Pureology spray but can’t get past the overly strong perfumy smell. Also it contains Xylose which is toxic for cats! Any other lightweight spray that’s good?

Evangelia Kei: Thank you for your videos! Very informative! But still i don't know how to style my natural wavy hair in a way that my curls pop out and be more vivid. I use mousse and it's the only thing that helps me. If you can do a video showing the best products and the best procedure for wavy hairs. I can't get rid of the frizziness. Thanks!

Michael Halbritter: Great, thanks! Please do the "advanced class" which you mentioned.

Julie Forrester: Hello, new subscriber here! Ideas for the curly haired folks who like to air dry their hair? I know I am guilty of too much product use in an attempt to tame the frizz and fly aways, !!

Lesley Elder: I have fine mid thigh hair, everytime I wash it, it tangles a lot and takes me ages to detangle. I only use organic products. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you

Kayla Savina: Must i mix olaplex 6 with my heat protector or can i only use olaplex 6 as a heat protector?

Slim Shady: Hello, I have fine straight hair that gets oily after 2-3 days. I already bought the shampoo and conditioner product you recommended but I’m wondering if I should just rinse with water after every workout or wash my hair with conditioner or shampoo after every workout. What do you recommend? And how often should I shampoo and condition? I haven’t tried any of these yet because I’m afraid I’ll do it wrong.

The Archetype Reader: Please do a video for swimmers like me who swim every day. I color my hair brown but it gets blonde. I don't know what to do. If you have a routine, I'd appreciate it. Also, in Spain I can't find your leave-in conditioner Pureology, could you recommend one that's available in Europe?

Sharon K Gomez: Hello I’ve been watching your video a lot❤ thank you for the great information. What shampoo and conditioner is great for air dry hair?

Briana Ferguson: This is so helpful, thank you

Jocii R: What about the redkin 22 thermal spray? I spray it far away and use a little and still it's stiff and I can't brush through my hair . Feels like I'm probably just damaging my hair because it feels like a hair spray

Zahra M: I just discovered your channel yesterday and learned alot. Can you please explain how to apply olaplex number 3? Do we need to shampoo the hair before applying it? Is number 3 enough on its own or better to be combined with 1&2?

Judy Rivait: Great tips as always I have those products now I know how to use them plus the olaplex 6 Thanks you are the best

Laura: Hi Chris! Thank you so much… you make the difference, in my opinion! Before I met you, I bought all the Moroccanoil products… I'd like to use them before buying yours (also because in my country pureology leave in is not always findable)… but I don't know in wich position put two Moroccanoil products that I love very much… the hydrating styling cream and the intense curl cream… the second one is a leave in, right? so i can use it for first, when i style my hair curl… but when i style straight, how can i use the hydrating cream? thank you so much for your videos! bravo!

B B: Hi, do you thing that the redken 25 benefits leave in is good? As an alternative to the pureology leave in Conditioner. Thanks a lot!

Mela Roper: Hi Chris, iI have been following you for a while and finally subscribed. I find your advice very helpful and it's really working for me (love the Redken blow out jelly) . I have 2 questions: I signed up for the product recommendations for my hair type, and it's not getting to my inbox. What am I doing wrong? Also, you seem to be addressing people with long hair only, so I assume the same goes for short hair but less product (I was using way too many products and too much). What do you think about velcro or hot rollers for body for a long pixie? (long front, short all around and above the ear) thanks again Chris. You rock!

Peggy Witherow: You give great advice. Thank you

Joanne Lyons: I think I'm using too much product, I have bleach highlights and use the redken acidic bonding but I feel its too heavy? What would you suggest for fine to medium with bleach?
