How To Style Your Hair For The Holidays (+ Perfect Gift)

Foreign, so today I'm back with another video for you guys and it's gon na be a little bit different. It'S not gon na be makeup. I just got out the shower and if you guys know me, you guys know that I always blow dry. My hair, outside of the shower, I heard it was healthier for your hair and it's recommended by hairstylist to blow dry your hair instead of letting it air dry um. I didn't do too much research into that, but I personally like my hair to be blow dry because then it just dries weird and it just my hair. Just is greasy and I just don't really like going to bed with my hair wet. So I always always no matter what I have to blow dry, my hair after I get out the shower, and I use this blow dryer here. This is my best friend I actually like my life change after I found this blow dryer. If you guys didn't watch my full review on the leaf and hair dryer I'll put it like in the little bar up here, so you guys can watch that where I go more into depth about the hair dryer. But I just wanted to quickly um mention that a lot of you guys have actually reached out to me saying that you guys did purchase the blow dryer and we're obsessed with it as much as I was, which I found really like like. I was really happy to hear that because I, you know, make reviews and a lot of the time. I don't know like how seriously you guys hate me or if you guys actually go out - and you know trust me when I say something is good and when I say something is good, it is good. This is so good. Like my old blow dryer I put away like not even in my room anymore like I'm, not even like, I don't have access to it right now. I only care about this blow dryer and it's super easy to travel with like when I go stay over the night somewhere. I can take this with me and it's super easy just put in a bag um but yeah. So I think that it's perfect the end. The holidays are coming right around the corner, so if you guys want to spoil yourself or spoil somebody else, this is the perfect gift, because everybody needs a blow. Dryer trust me. It also comes with different attachments. Like I said in my old video in my um review video I put all like, I went more into detail and I'm trying not to go too much into detail because you know, if you guys want more detail, you guys can go um to my other video, But there's like a diffuser part and there's like other parts. You can just snap on super easily right now. I just got out the shower. I had my hair in a little towel and I'm gon na plug this in I just like to put some product in my hair before I get started. This is the olaplex um number the bond smoother. I just put this in my hair. You can put heat protectant, whatever you need, and this blow dryer actually has two settings. It has um, as you guys can see those little bars right there. If you put it all the way up, it's like the hardest, if you put it in the middle, it's like not like the air pressure. Airflow is not as hard and then it also has this button right here, where you click it once twice three times it gives you different um. What'S it called like different settings, so it's like red is hot, yellow is medium and then blue is cold. So whatever you want to blow dry your hair with and if you press it down for three seconds, it'll actually rotate so it'll go from cold hot. I mean cold, warm hot, you know or hot warm cold whatever. So I think it's really cool. This is a really good piece of technology and it compares to some very high-end brands that - and this is like way less than half the price, such a good price, for what you're getting trust me I'll leave the link and the code and everything down below. If you guys want to try it out that it Blow dries your hair so fast, I used to take 30 minutes blow drying my hair, and in my video you guys, I timed it and it was literally less than 10 minutes that it took to blow dry. My hair, so what I do is I just clip one side of my hair up. I focus on one side and then I go on to the other side. So let's just go ahead and start blow drying foreign stamped. When I like. What'S it called started doing this side of my hair, but this side of my hair is already done, and I also really quickly want to say that it is such a lightweight blow, dryer that your arm doesn't get heavy like with a standard blow dryer. I noticed like it would take forever and my arm would get so tired, but with this blow dryer my arm does not get tired because it is super lightweight and it's super quick. So it's a win-win. Now I'm gon na do the other side of my hair and you guys are gon na see. Well, this one is this side of my hair is still a little bit wet, but I like to just like blow dry it as much as possible, and then I just blow dry it again all together, so we're gon na do the other side now, okay, so I just finished blow drying on both sides of my hair and, as you guys can see, it is super like shiny and it's super soft and it feels super soft feels super silky and my hair honestly, like I have been on a hair care journey and I Have been trying to take care of my hair, more um, but I honestly believe that the blow dryer makes the biggest difference in the way that my my hair actually dries. So, like I said it's such a good investment and my hair, you know it looks super good. It looks super healthy, super, shiny and um. You don't have to necessarily put heat on your hair to blow dry or to use this hair blow dryer, so um. Right now, I'm actually I got out of the shower. It'S 6 15.. I'M gon na do some studying I have finals week coming up or midterms will be coming up um this week. Actually it's Sunday today so tomorrow in the morning, I will show you guys how I end up styling my hair and um yeah. So I love you guys and I'll see you guys tomorrow. Okay, guys it's the next morning, and I just did my makeup and I'm getting ready for school and for the first day since I just washed my hair yesterday, I kind of like to keep my hair down just because that's when it looks the best this one, It looks like the most like full, you know what I mean, so I kind of just like having it um down, but I'm just gon na quickly just brush through it, and then I do the same thing. I usually just like clip up one side and focus on one side and for this side, specifically, I kind of grab like the bottom, and I like to split it just to make sure you're not missing any pieces and a lot of people always ask me how I curl my hair. I know people curl their hair differently. I honestly wish I knew the like measurements of this one, but I don't, but basically what I do is like I curl away, so I go over and away it's kind of hard to tell because my hair is black and so is the freaking one. But I like to curl away from my hair and I like to kind of only curl the ends and um. That was a little bit tight, but we're gon na fix that don't worry, and then I like to hold them in my hand, because this really like sets them in and makes them last longer. So just go like this until they're like pretty like, I feel like cold. I guess so like the heat goes away and then I slip my hair again into the middle section and I do really big pieces like I literally just do like two pieces per section because I feel like I like, like the looser kind of curl better. So that's like two right. There also is this my first video with my Christmas tree up, I don't know if I just hold them. I tried going to decorate my room with me like my Christmas tree, but my camera ended up dying and then I, like obviously didn't want to stop everything. So I didn't and then I just like didn't film most of it. So I was kind of sad about that and if I did post it would literally just be like a freaking time lapse. Video because I didn't even get to like talk that much but yeah. So for this side of my face, I curl away like I curl away, and then I just grab my fingers and kind of like mix the curls into each other right. So now I'm gon na do the same thing on the other side, and for this side I also curl away from my face. It'S important to curl away from your face, or else the curls would just look like eighth grade birthday party Vibes. You know how like they do that hair, where it's like. Oh me, in Middle School curling, my hair, when it was my birthday, you do not want your hair to look like that, but I'm just gon na go ahead and like loose curl. My extensions really quick and then show you guys the final product, but so far this is what the curls look like super pretty like loose kind of like you know, cute. Oh, the back of my hair, like these, like back pieces. I'Ll probably end up washing my hair on Wednesday, I'm not sure, because if you guys didn't know, my birthday is this Saturday December 17th and I'm turning 18 years old and I bought my dresses and I'm gon na like do like a little cake and I'm gon Na get balloons and I'm gon na do like a little photo shoot. So I want my hair to look cute for them and I'm probably gon na have my hair down. So I might um I might do that on tomorrow on Tuesday. But if I don't end up doing that, then on Thursday I will end up having the photo shoot and Wednesday I'll end up washing my hair again um. So this week is a little bit different with my hair washing, but I usually I do wash my hair like on a Sunday and then I wash it again on Wednesday, sometimes even before, then it depends on like what I'm trying to do. You know what I mean, but yeah, it's important not to wash your hair every day. I noticed my hair got super healthier, not try like not washing my hair every day and I still kind of watch my hair more than I would like to. But you know you got ta start somewhere, get a good dry shampoo, get a good hair care routine and get your hair together guys, but, like I like, when my hair all curls the same way, that's why I curl this one away from my face and this One away from my face, but if you wanted your hair to like kind of look more like full and kind of more messy and effortless like that, then you could do one curl away from your hair, one curl to your face. So one curl wrapping around the curling iron this way and then another curl wrapping around the curling iron this way so that it kind of gives like a little bit of spice. I used to do my hair like that, but I recently stopped just because I like this, like look better because like when my roots are straight and then just all like close together. If you know what I mean but yeah, if you want like the more, I feel it's like you go back and forth, but just make sure these front pieces, your front pieces always curl away from your face so that they look like this and not like in Your face, you know what I mean so yeah, that's it. I'M gon na put my extensions and I'll. Show you something okay. So this is what my hair looks like right now. I love the way it turns out. I, like I, always like the more like straight root and the more like Curly down here, just because I don't know I just always like that. Look and I never really knew how to achieve it. So This Is How They, basically you achieve it. You just curl the ends, and then you know curl them all to inside so yeah. This is how this is um super chill, like you know, a lot of people, don't know how to curl their hair. I just wanted to mention how I curl my hair in this video, at least once so that you guys kind of had an idea. Also, can you guys know, because I know some people might be like that is so simple like? How could you not know that personally me? I didn't really know how to curl my hair um like the way I wanted it to look. I didn't know how to achieve that.
